Abstract

Background: Adolescence is a period that is vulnerable to risky sexual behavior. This study aimed to describe the reproductive health knowledge and attitudes of students at the faculty of health and non-health faculties. Methods: It is research with quantitative methods using a cross-sectional design. The variables of this study are the level of knowledge and attitudes about reproductive health—data collection techniques with online surveys. Data analysis used descriptive statistics and bivariate analysis (Mann-Whitney test). Results: Respondents with a good level of knowledge and attitudes about sexual reproductive health at the health faculties were higher than respondents at the non-health faculties (78 Vs. 61 people and 68 Vs. 42 people). The knowledge and attitudes of respondents in the health and non-health faculties were significantly different (?=19; p = 0.009 and ?=27.95; p = 0.001).Conclusion: Health promotion is needed for students, especially non-health students, to increase knowledge and attitudes about reproductive health to prevent risky sexual behavior among students

Abstract

The lack of a decision support system for the Tuberculosis or TB Program implemented in the Sukoharjo Regency Office has resulted in a gap or mismatch between the estimated number of TBC cases and the discovery of TBC cases in the field so that the decisions taken so far are only based on the discovery of existing TBC cases. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the use of SPK-TB in supporting the village-based Tuberculosis Suspect Screening Program. The research method used the Mix-method method which combines qualitative and quantitative research types. The research subjects consisted of 12 TBC information system users at the public health center and the Health Office. The results showed that the system that had been developed and tested at each user level, especially the head of the health centre, was well accepted and used as intended. This shows that system acceptance before and after testing with the TAM method has increased the average value. It is recommended that this SPK-TB be implemented immediately so that the effectiveness and efficiency of the performance of TBC officers and the Health Office can be known.

Abstract

The Public Safety Center (PSC) 119 service is an integrated emergency medical system that plays a crucial role in Indonesia's pre-hospital healthcare system. The demand pattern for PSC-119 services can be influenced by various factors, including weather conditions and community mobility. In Semarang City, no research has described the weekly trends of PSC-119 calls based on case types and their relationship with weather parameters. This study aims to describe the weekly trend patterns of PSC-119 calls based on case types and compare them with weather pattern changes in Semarang City in 2024. This study employed a quantitative-descriptive method with a time-based descriptive analysis approach. Secondary data included PSC-119 calls categorized by case type (transportation, homecare, general emergency, traffic accidents, and non-emergency) and weekly weather data (temperature, humidity, rainfall) from the Central Java Climatology Station for January-December 2024. Descriptive analysis was performed with visualization using weekly trend charts. Total PSC-119 calls in 2024 showed weekly variations with the highest peak in week 8 at 633 calls. Transportation category dominated with 11,825 calls, followed by homecare (4,339 calls). Peak calls occurred during relatively dry weather conditions (rainfall 3.1 mm, temperature 29.6°C, humidity 77.7%). Comparative analysis showed that weather variable changes did not form patterns consistent with weekly call fluctuations. Fluctuations in PSC-119 calls in Semarang City were more influenced by activity patterns and community mobility than by weather variables. Weather acts as an enabling factor that supports increased mobility, rather than as a direct determinant of emergency incidents.
