Abstract

The research used watermarking techniques to obtain the image originality. The aims of the research were to identify small area in eggs properly and compared preprocessing, the methods, and the results of image processing. The study has been improved from the previous papers by combined all methods and analysis was obtained.This study was conducted by using centroid and the bounding box for determining the object and the small area of chicken eggs. The segmentation method was used to compare the original image and the watermarked image. Image processing using image data that are subject watermark to maintain the authenticity of the images used in the study will the impact in delivering the desired results. In the identification of chicken eggs using watermark image using several methods are expected to provide results as desired. Segmentation also deployed to process the Image and counted the objects. The results showed that the process of segmentation and objects counting determined that the original image and watermarked image had the same value and recognized eggs. Identification had determined percentage of 100% for all the samples.

Abstract

Manual system vehicle parking makes finding vacant parking lots difficult, so it has to check directly to the vacant space. If many people do parking, then the time needed for it is very much or requires many people to handle it. This research develops a real-time parking system to detect parking. The system is designed using the HSV color segmentation method in determining the background image. In addition, the detection process uses the background subtraction method. Applying these two methods requires image preprocessing using several methods such as grayscaling, blurring (low-pass filter). In addition, it is followed by a thresholding and filtering process to get the best image in the detection process. In the process, there is a determination of the ROI to determine the focus area of the object identified as empty parking. The parking detection process produces the best average accuracy of 95.76%. The minimum threshold value of 255 pixels is 0.4. This value is the best value from 33 test data in several criteria, such as the time of capture, composition and color of the vehicle, the shape of the shadow of the object’s environment, and the intensity of light. This parking detection system can be implemented in real-time to determine the position of an empty place.

Abstract

This research addresses the challenge of optimizing rule creation for palm oil production at PT Tapiana Nadenggan. It deals with the complexity of diverse agricultural variables, environmental factors, and the dynamic nature of palm oil production. The existing problem lies in the limitations of conventional decision tree models—J48, reduced error pruning (REP), and random—in capturing the nuanced relationships within the intricate palm oil production system. The study introduces hybrid decision tree models—specifically J48-REP, REP-Random, and Random-J48—to address this challenge via combination scenarios. This approach aims to refine and update the rule creation process, enabling the recognition of nuanced performance processes within the selected decision tree combinations. To comprehensively tackle this challenge and problem, the study employs Tsukamoto’s fuzzy inference system (FIS) for a sophisticated performance comparison. Despite the complexity, intriguing results emerge after the forecasting process, with the standalone J48 decision tree achieving 85.70% accuracy and the combined J48-REP excelling at 93.87%. This highlights the potential of decision tree combinations in overcoming the complexities inherent in forecasting palm oil production, contributing valuable insights for informed decision-making in the industry.
