Abstract

Extreme Gradient Boosting atau XGBoost merupakan metode ensemble boosting yang sangat populer dan berkinerja baik. Disisi lain XGBoost menerapkan sangat banyak parameter atau hyper parameter. Penentuan nilai secara manual tentu saja sangat sulit dan lama. Pada penelitian ini, Genetic Algoritm (GA) diterapkan untuk penelusuran nilai parameter XGBoost. Model XGBoost dievalusi dengan membandingkan ROC dengan beberapa model berbasis tree. Hasil pengujian ROC Genetic-XGBoost, Gradient Boost, dan Random Forest masing-masing sebesar 0, 987, 0,99, dan 0,957. Hasil ROC ke tiga model menunjukkan bahwa model Genetic-XGBoost memiliki performa yang lebih baik dari model-model lain.

Abstract

The increasingly advanced development of information technology can be utilized in almost every aspect of life. It is hoped that the very rapid progress of information technology can support the tasks of an organization so that the activities carried out can be well coordinated. This also had an impact on the church to introduce a web-based church information system to the church congregation. As the first indication that an information system can be built at the Huria Kristen Batak Protestant Church (HKBP) Cendana Nauli Resort Tanjung Morawa City, this information system will be used to facilitate the collection of congregation data and church information. Based on the problems above, an information system was built that can assist in web-based data collection on church congregations. Where the website can be accessed anywhere and at any time so it does not specify time and place limits. The information system that has been built uses the PHP language. This website also provides congregation services to view worship schedules, church profiles, and photo galleries of church activities, which can be accessed easily. . By building this information system, it can help the congregation and leaders of the HKBP Cendana Nauli Resort Tanjung Morawa City parhalado more easily, quickly and efficiently in accessing church congregation data collection information and church information.

Abstract

The assessment of lecturer performance at Indonesian Methodist University is a crucial component in maintaining and enhancing the quality of education. Manual assessment processes encounter various challenges, including inefficiency, prolonged durations, and the potential for human error. Therefore, a digital solution is necessary to simplify and optimize the assessment process. This research aims to design and develop a web-based lecturer performance assessment questionnaire application that enhances efficiency, accuracy, and ease of use in the assessment process at Indonesian Methodist University. The application design is conducted using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) method, which involves creating use case diagrams, class diagrams, and activity diagrams. This approach facilitates the design of a well-structured and documented system, thereby streamlining the development and implementation processes. The research findings indicate that the questionnaire application designed with UML significantly improves the efficiency and accuracy of the lecturer performance assessment process. Additionally, this application simplifies user access to online questionnaires and generates reliable assessment reports..

Abstract

This community service activity is an implementation of the tridharma of higher education to provide knowledge to students of SMK Gelora Jaya Nusantara, especially class XI students majoring in network computer engineering (TKJ). The material provided is router configuration and virtual LAN, this material is useful for participants, because it is one of the topics in the competency exam. This service activity starts from the preparation stage carried out by the team and is carried out on June 20, 2023 in the computer laboratory of SMK Gelora Jaya Nusantara. This service activity was carried out in collaboration with the Program Studi D3 Manajemen Informatika dan Komputerisasi Akuntansi with SMK Gelora Jaya Nusantara.

Abstract

Lumban Pea Timur is one of the villages in Balige District, Toba Samosir Regency, North Sumatra Province. Village development is currently inseparable from the support of information technology, almost every village requires information technology to improve services to the community. The process of conveying information by the village to the resident, namely from the sub-district head to the village head reaches the resident. Processes like this often lead to inaccurate information. All existing regional potentials must be disseminated to show their superiority. Each district has an area called a sub-district and village. The rapid development of the world of communication technology has had a tremendous impact on the pattern of people’s lives. Information systems have made people’s lives dynamic and fast. With the facilities provided, encourages people to take advantage of information and communication technology to assist in their daily activities. The village government of Lumban Pea does not yet have a website address. This has resulted in information owned by the village that cannot be accessed by the wider community, causing this village to be very left behind. In this increasingly advanced technological era, a website-based information system can be implemented in East Lumban Pea village to overcome the above constraints. With the existence of a village information system, the community can directly access the various kinds of information presented. Likewise, village leaders can directly provide or update information related to the village they are fostering. All forms of information regarding population management can be accessed on the village information system page.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the logic skills of students at SDN 060934 through the application of multimedia-based educational games. By identifying the problems students face in understanding logic concepts, the program is designed to provide an engaging and interactive learning experience. The implementation of activities includes socialization, training, and the use of educational games that have been selected based on student needs. Evaluation results showed a significant improvement in students' logic skills, with the average pre-test score increasing from 65 to 85 in the post-test. In addition, students also reported a more enjoyable learning experience and higher motivation to learn. Although challenges related to technological infrastructure still need to be overcome, this activity proves that educational games can be effectively integrated in the learning process to support the development of critical thinking skills among students. It is recommended that this method be applied more widely in other schools in an effort to improve the quality of education in Indonesia

Abstract

Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) merupakan algoritma klastering  yang sangat baik dan lebih fleksibel dari algoritma klastering konvensional. Selain kelebihan tersebut, kelemahan utama algoritma ini adalah sensitif terhadap pusat klaster. Pusat klaster yang sensitif mengakibatkan hasil akhir sulit di kontrol dan FCM  mudah terjebak  pada optimum lokal. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, penelitian ini memperbaiki kinerja FCM dengan menerapkan Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) untuk menentukan pusat klaster yang lebih baik. Penelitian ini diterapkan pada klastering sentimen dengan menggunakan data berdimensi tinggi yaitu ulasan produk yang dikumpulkan dari beberapa situs toko online di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan PSO pada pembangkitan pusat klaster FCM dapat memperbaiki performa FCM serta memberikan luaran yang lebih sesuai. Performa klastering yang menjadi acuan  adalah Rand Index, F-Measure dan Objective Function Value (OFV). Untuk keseluruhan performa tersebut, FCM-PSO memberikan hasil yang lebih baik dari FCM. Nilai OFV yang lebih baik menunjukkan bahwa FCM-PSO tersebut membutuhkan waktu konvergensi yang lebih cepat serta penanganan noise yang lebih baik.AbstractFuzzy C-Means (FCM) algorithm is one of the popular fuzzy clustering techniques. Compared with the hard clustering algorithm, FCM is more flexible and fair. However, FCM is significantly sensitive to the initial cluster center and easily trapped in a local optimum. To overcome this problem, this study proposes and improved FCM with Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm to determine a better cluster center for high dimensional and unstructured sentiment clustering. This study uses product review data collected from several online shopping websites in Indonesia. Initial processing product review data consists of Case Folding, Non Alpha Numeric Removal, Stop Word Removal, and Stemming. PSO is applied for the determination of suite cluster center. Clustering performance criteria are Rand Index, F-Measure and Objective Function Value (OFV). The results showed that FCM-PSO can provide better performance compared to the conventional FCM in terms of Rand Index, F-measure and Objective Function Values (OFV). The better OFV value indicates that FCM-PSO requires faster convergence time and better noise handling.

Abstract

This study examines the LSTM-based model for processing spam in text data. Spam poses several dangers and risks, both for individuals and organizations. Spam can be a nuisance that hampers both individual and organizational productivity. Much spam contains fraudulent or phishing attempts to obtain sensitive information. Spam detection using deep learning involves the utilization of algorithms and deep neural network models to accurately classify messages as either spam or not spam. Typically, spam detection systems use a combination of these methods to improve the accuracy of identifying spam messages. This study applies the Bi-LSTM deep learning model to sequentially process text (sequencing). The performance of the model is determined based on the loss and accuracy. The data used are the Spam SMS and Spam Email datasets. The test results show that the Bi-LSTM model demonstrates better performance on all tested datasets. Bi-LSTM is able to capture textual patterns from both the context and the text itself, as it can combine information from both directions. The test results prove that the Bi-LSTM model is more effective in text comprehension. So we need to use Snort to maintain network security. Snort is a useful software for observing activity in a computer network. Snort can be used as a lightweight Network Intrusion Detection System (NIDS). Detection is carried out based on the rules that have been described by the administrator in the directory rules contained in the configuration file. Snort can analyze real time alerts, where the mechanism for entering alerts can be in the form of a user syslog, file or through a database. So we can detect attacks on computer networks early.

Abstract

Along with the times, information technology is experiencing increasingly rapid changes in various fields. As in trading business, information technology has provided many benefits in trading business. The problem with the Warristo Store is that there is no system that can assist employees in recording sales of goods, data collection, stock reports and sales reports. The solution to solving this problem is to design an information system that can make it easier for employees to do their work by using several programming applications. The results of the research conducted and the information system that has been designed are to help employees in the process of recording sales of goods, collecting goods data, transaction reports and sales reports easily and being able to convey information about the latest goods to consumers easily.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology encourages the opening of opportunities for all aspects of life, including the public sector of the state apparatus which is held at the sub-district or sub-district level. Efforts to improve public services are a form of bureaucracy designed to encourage community participation and create good governance. The Perkutut II environmental community complaint application is an application designed to assist the community in submitting complaints that occur in the surrounding environment. The expected result is to increase community participation, a good complaint application will encourage active community participation in reporting problems and issues that affect them. With an easy-to-use platform and good accessibility, people will feel more involved and play a role in building a good community.
