Abstract

This study aims to design a web-based printing information system for Citra Grafika, which previously managed orders and generated reports manually. The manual system caused inefficiency, difficulty in searching for data, delays in report preparation, and a high risk of data loss. This study used observation, interviews, and literature review methods to collect system requirements. The system was developed using PHP and MySQL with features for online ordering, product management, customer data management, order status tracking, and report generation. The results of the study show that this system can improve operational efficiency, minimizing recording errors, and improving the quality of customer service. This web-based information system is expected to support decision making and increase Citra Grafika's competitiveness in the digital era.

Abstract

The assessment of lecturer performance at Indonesian Methodist University is a crucial component in maintaining and enhancing the quality of education. Manual assessment processes encounter various challenges, including inefficiency, prolonged durations, and the potential for human error. Therefore, a digital solution is necessary to simplify and optimize the assessment process. This research aims to design and develop a web-based lecturer performance assessment questionnaire application that enhances efficiency, accuracy, and ease of use in the assessment process at Indonesian Methodist University. The application design is conducted using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) method, which involves creating use case diagrams, class diagrams, and activity diagrams. This approach facilitates the design of a well-structured and documented system, thereby streamlining the development and implementation processes. The research findings indicate that the questionnaire application designed with UML significantly improves the efficiency and accuracy of the lecturer performance assessment process. Additionally, this application simplifies user access to online questionnaires and generates reliable assessment reports.

Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) are strategic economic institutions. To support village economic independence, BUMDes operate in villages. However, most BUMDes still face big challenges in product marketing and financial record management, which are still done manually and use outdated methods. The purpose of this article is to explore how digital marketing systems and digital financial recording contribute to improving the performance and competitiveness of BUMDes. This study uses recent literature research (2020–2025) to analyze digital marketing strategies based on social media, websites, and e-commerce, as well as the implementation of digital-based Accounting Information Systems (AIS) for BUMDes financial recording. The research results show that using digital technology increases sales volume, market reach, transparency, and accountability in managing BUMDes finances. Keywords: soft skills, tech leadership, vocational high school, industry readiness, community service. Samosir Regency, which is one of Indonesia's five Super Priority Destinations designated by the government and is part of the Lake Toba National Tourism Strategic Area (KSPN), has a growing need for digitalization. Village-owned enterprises (BUMDes) in Samosir have a great opportunity to drive the village tourism economy, but they can only succeed if supported by a digital marketing system that can promote local products and tourism potential to tourists. BUMDes in Samosir have a huge opportunity to become the driving force of the village tourism economy, but they can only succeed if backed by a digital marketing system that can promote local goods and tourism potential to both domestic and foreign tourists, as well as a clear and accountable financial recording system. Limitations in human resources, technology infrastructure, and internet access in rural areas are major challenges. To realize smart BUMDes To create smart and competitive Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes), especially to support sustainable tourism development in the Lake Toba–Samosir area, continuous mentoring, digital literacy training, and support from local government policies are needed

Abstract

The development of industries based on digital technology requires vocational high school (SMK) graduates not only to have technical competencies but also strong soft skills, particularly in technology leadership (tech leadership). Students majoring in Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ) need to be equipped with communication skills, teamwork, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities to be able to adapt and compete in a dynamic industrial world. This community service activity aims to improve the competencies of SMK Gelora Jaya Nusantara students through Soft Skills Tech Leaders training as an effort to prepare them for the challenges of the workforce. The implementation methods include interactive workshops, group discussions, case study simulations, and learning reflections. The results of the activity show an increase in students' understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a tech leader and the importance of soft skills in managing technology projects. Participants showed high enthusiasm and active involvement throughout the training. This activity is expected to serve as a strategic step in supporting the readiness of the younger generation to face digital transformation and the demands of Industry 4.0.

Abstract

The Community Health Center is a primary healthcare facility that provides medical services to the public. However, at the Munte Community Health Center, the patient queuing process is still carried out manually by recording names in a registration book, which leads to various issues such as long queues, disorderliness, and delays in service delivery. This study aims to design a web-based queue information system to improve service efficiency, facilitate the registration process, and streamline patient calling. The development method used is the waterfall model, which includes the stages of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The results of the study produced a queue information system that enables digital patient registration, patient data management, and automatic patient calling based on sequence, with access through a local network and an interface designed to be simple for staff to use. Testing shows that the system functions well, reduces patient waiting time, and improves service flow. Thus, this web-based queue information system is expected to support the provision of more effective, efficient, and comfortable healthcare services at the Munte Community Health Center, as well as promote the realization of digital transformation in healthcare.
