Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out which student learning outcomes were better between using snowball throwing cooperative learning models assisted by power point media or using conventional learning models on hydrocarbon compound material in class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Benai. The type of research used is a quasi experimental design with a posttest only group design. The sampling technique is cluster random sampling through drawing. Then it was found that the sample of class XI MIPA 4 studentas an experimental class and class XI MIPA 5 as a control class. The trial instrument used was content validity that was judged by 3 experts, item analysis (level of difficulty, differentiation, deseption effectiveness) and reliability of the questions processed by the help of ANATES. The test used was an objective written test of 20 questions. To test thenormality of the data used the Kolmogorov Smirnov test, the homogeneity test uses the Statistical Levene test and the hypothesis test uses the “t” test, namely the independent sample t test. The research hypothesis test showed that the value of sig. (1-tailed) was 0,000 < 0,05 then H0 was rejected. So that it can be concluded that student learning outcomes using cooperative learning models snowball throwing type assisted by power point media are better than student learning outcomes using conventional learning models.

Abstract

This research aims to know what are the problematics of the implementasion curriculum 2013 of chemical interest learning in class XI Social Sciences (IIS) of SMA Negeri 1 Kuantan Hilir Seberang. The research subjects were the Headmaster or Headmaster proxy in the field of curriculum, one chemistry teacher and students of class XI Social Sciences (IIS). This research is kind of qualitative research the using data collection techniques by observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis techniques which used are data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing.Whereas the validity and reliability tests use the credibility, Dependability, and confirmability tests. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded from the problematics of the implementasion curriculum 2013 of chemical interest learning in class XI Social Sciences (IIS) of SMA Negeri 1 Kuantan Hilir Seberang, that are : The first, at the planning stage the teacher is constrained in realizing the learning device because of the allocation of time and conditions of students. The second, in the learning process that occurs because the method is less varied and difficult to apply scientific and limited facilities and infrastructure. The third, evaluations or assessments in the 2013 curriculum that have not been able to be applied.

Abstract

Research on the development of interactive learning media based on Autoplay Media Studio 8.5.2.0 aims to explain the feasibility of developing interactive based Autoplay Media Studio 8.5.2.0 in chemical bonding subjects for X Grade Student of State Islamic Senior High School 1 Kuantan Singingi. This research method is research and development (R&D) with a 4D development model that includes the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. Data collection instruments used were through expert material validation sheets, learning media validation sheets, and student response validation sheets. The data analysis technique used is by calculating the validation assessment percentage score. The results showed that the interactive learning media based on Autoplay Media Studio 8.5.2.0 that was developed fulfilled the valid categories of material experts in the amount of 91.16% and in the media experts amounted to 94.58%. This learning media also fulfills a valid category which students can use with 96.25%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine student learning outcomes in Hydrocarbons material in class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Cerenti. This research as a quantitative research type of quasi-experimental designwith posttets-only control design experimental design. The sample in this study were students of class XI MIPA 4 as an experimental class and class XI MIPA 1 as a control class. The sampling technique was cluster random sampling. This study used the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. In this study usung the “t” test that is independent sample t-test. Based on the results o the final hypothesis test which was analyzed using thee independent sample test, the significance value (2-tailed) was obtained is 0,000<0,05. Because thi study uses 1-tailed, the significance value is 2-tailed = 0,000<0,05 so that H0 is rejected. The final test results obtained Sig (1-tailed) is 0,000 < 0,05 which mean H0 was rejected. It can be concluded that the learning outcomes of chemistry using the Jigsaw learning model was better which do conventional learning.

Abstract

Research on the development of learning media on Booklet aims to explain the feasibility of developing based Booklet on colloid system subjects for class XI Senior High School 1 Benai. This research method is research and development (R&D) with a 4D development model that includes the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. Data collection instruments used were through expert material validation sheets, learning media validation sheets, and student response validation sheets. The data analysis technique used is by calculating the validation assessment percentage score. The results showed that the interactive learning media on Booklet that was developed fulfilled the valid categories of by three material experts in the amount of 91.11%, three in the media experts amounted to 86,67% and from linguists 83,36%. This learning media also fulfills a valid category which students can use with 91,40%.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan media buku saku ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dari media pembelajaran kimia pada materi ikatan kimia untuk SMA/MA kelas X SMAN 1 Benai. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development, R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang meliputi tahap Analyze (Analisis), Design (Perencanaan), Development (Pengembangan), Implement (Implementasi), dan Evaluate (Evaluasi). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan melalui lembar validasi ahli materi, lembar validasi ahli media, lembar validasi ahli bahasa dan lembar validasi respon siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dari hasil perolehan validasi ahli materi sebesar 96.06%, ahli media sebesar 88.89%, dan hasil respon siswa sebesar 89.77%. Berdasarkan hasil perolehan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran buku saku sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran kimia pada materi ikatan kimia kelas X.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and the feasibility of developing a pocket book on electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution materials in State High School 1 Logas Tanah Darat. This research using research and development method with and development (R&D) with a 4D development model that includes the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. Data collection instruments used are through media expert validation sheets, material expert validation sheet, linguits expert validation sheet and a student response validation sheet. The data analysis technique used which is calculating the validation assessment percentage score. The results showed that the interactive learning media a pocket book that was developed fulfilled the valid categories of by media expert of 89,44%, materiall experts of 88,88%, and linguist expert of 89,28%. This learning media also fulfills a valid category which students can use with persentage of 90,56%

Abstract

This study aims to test the feasibility of developing an android-based chemical educational game media for nomenclature of hydrocarbon compounds. In this study using validators, namely material experts, media experts and students. This type of research is R&D development research (Research and Development) with the development process referring to the 4D development model. The data collection instrument used in the form of a validation sheet which has 5 rating scales, namely (1) not good (2) not good (3) quite good (4) good and (5) very good. The data analysis technique used is by calculating the percentage score of the validation assessment. The results showed that the percentage of material experts was 96.11% valid category, the percentage of media experts was 88.51% valid category and students showed a percentage of 91.63% valid category. Based on this assessment, an android-based chemical educational game for nomenclature of hydrocarbon compounds is very feasible to use.

Abstract

This research on the development of learning media using Android-based Adobe Flash CS6 aims to determine the feasibility of chemistry learning media on equilibrium material for SMA / MA class XI SMAN 1 Benai. This research is a development research (Research and Development, R&D) with the ADDIE development model which includes the Analyze, Design, Development, Implement and Evaluate stages. The research instrument used was the material expert validation sheet, the media expert validation sheet, and the student response validation sheet. The results showed that from the results of the acquisition of material expert validation of 90.33%, media experts by 86.38%, and student response results of 89.19%, based on these results it can be concluded that chemistry learning media using android-based adobe flash CS6 is very suitable for use as a learning medium chemistry in class XI equilibrium material.

Abstract

Termokimia merupakan salah satu materi kimia yang dianggap sulit oleh siswa. Dalam memahami materi termokimia, siswa sering kali mengalami salah pemahaman atau miskonsepsi karena materi tersebut bersifat abstrak dan memerlukan representasi pada tingkat makroskopis, submakroskopis, dan simbolik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penyebab miskonsepsi siswa pada materi termokimia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif metode studi kasus. Instrumen pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi dan wawancara. Dari hasil analisis deskriptif diperoleh bahwa pada umumnya siswa mengalami miskonsepsi. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kesalahan siswa dalam memahami materi, kurang nya variasi guru dalam mengajar serta sumber belajar siswa yang kurang interaktif.
