Abstract

This research aims to know what are the problematics of the implementasion curriculum 2013 of chemical interest learning in class XI Social Sciences (IIS) of SMA Negeri 1 Kuantan Hilir Seberang. The research subjects were the Headmaster or Headmaster proxy in the field of curriculum, one chemistry teacher and students of class XI Social Sciences (IIS). This research is kind of qualitative research the using data collection techniques by observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis techniques which used are data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing.Whereas the validity and reliability tests use the credibility, Dependability, and confirmability tests. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded from the problematics of the implementasion curriculum 2013 of chemical interest learning in class XI Social Sciences (IIS) of SMA Negeri 1 Kuantan Hilir Seberang, that are : The first, at the planning stage the teacher is constrained in realizing the learning device because of the allocation of time and conditions of students. The second, in the learning process that occurs because the method is less varied and difficult to apply scientific and limited facilities and infrastructure. The third, evaluations or assessments in the 2013 curriculum that have not been able to be applied.

Abstract

This research is an evaluation study with a quantitative descriptive approach that uses the Stakeevaluation model. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the 2013 authentic curriculum assessment and to find out the obstacles experienced by the teacher in carrying out the assessment in the learning process taking place on chemistry subjects in SMAN 1 Benai 1. The subjects of this study were 3 chemistry teachers at SMAN 1 Benai 1. Data collection techniques are documentation, observation and interviews. The data analysis technique in this study uses descriptions and uses the percentage formula to determine the assessment criteria. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the implementation of the 2013curriculum authentic assessment on chemistry subjects in SMAN 1 Benai 1 obtained the percentage of implementation evaluation of 79.8% which was categorized as well implemented. The constraints experienced by chemistry teachers in carrying out authentic assessments are in the implementation of attitude assessments, the teacher feels difficulty in carrying out the assessment at the beginning of the semester precisely at the first 2 months to 3 months because it is not memorized by the names of students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa pada materi struktur atom dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Model Eliciting Akctivities (MEA) dan Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating dan Transfering (REACT) di kelas X IPA SMAN 1 Inuman. Jenis penelitian adalah ekdperimen dengan waktu pengambilan data tanggal 30 September- 29 oktober. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas X IPA 1 sebagai eksperimen 1 dan X IPA 2 sebagai eksperimen 2. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa adanya perbedaan antara kelas eksperimen 1 dan eksperimen 2. Hasil penelitian menunjuk rata-rata nilai post-test adanya peningkatan dari skor pos-test pada kedua kelas eksperimen dengan nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 1 Model Eliciting Activities (MEA) 85,00 dan kelas eksperimen 2 Relating, Eksperiencing, Applying, Cooperating Transfering (REACT) 77,57. Sehingga dapat simpulkan model pembelajaran MEA lebih baik di bandingkan dengan model pembelajaran REACT.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) Berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada pembelajaran Kimia pokok bahasan Stoikiometri yang valid berdasarkan validasi ahli materi, validasi ahli bahasa, validasi ahli media dan validasi respon peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan proses pengembangan mengacu kepada model pengembangan 4-D. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa lembar validasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu dengan cara menghitung skor persentase penilaian validasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) Berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang dikembangkan memenuhi kategori valid dari 3 ahli materi yaitu sebesar 92,75%, 3 ahli media sebesar 92,06%, 1 ahli bahasa yaitu sebesar 94,29%. Media pembelajaran ini juga memenuhi kategori valid yang mana siswa dapat menggunakannya dengan 99,60%. Berdasarkan penilaian tersebut Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik berbasis Problem Based Learning Pada Materi Stoikiometri sangat layak digunakan.

Abstract

Critical thinking ability is one of the must-have abilities for students in 21st century learning. This study aims to develop critical thinking questions on salt hydrolysis material using the wondershare quiz creator application. This research is a Research and Development with the Plomp model. The research subjects are 20 students and 2 chemistry teachers in a small-scale trial. The instruments used are critical thinking questions, material expert validation sheets, media expert, and response questionnaires for teachers and students. Based on the results of the validation of questions by the material, evaluation, language, and practitioner experts, the validation results have a score of 90% for the material aspect, 96% for the construction aspect, and 94% for the language aspect with a category of Valid. For the results from the media expert are 90% on content substance aspect, 95% on learning design aspect, and 92% on display aspect with a category of Valid. As for the result of the small-scale trial of student responses, it obtained the score of 87% in the “very good” category. While the result of the teacher responses obtained the score of 87.92% in the category of “very good” as well. Based on these results, critical thinking questions on hydrolysis material are valid to be used as an instrument for assessing critical thinking ability.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguraikan tentang studi pendahuluan media evaluasi berbasis wondershare quiz creator pada materi hidrolisis garam. Studi pendahuluan pada penelitian ini terdiri atas wawancara dan observasi lapangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui media evaluasi yang digunakan oleh guru dalam pembelajaran kimia, kendala pada peserta didik dalam evaluasi pembelajaran kimia, dan mengeksplorasi kebutuhan media evaluasi pembelajaran kimia. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik dan guru kimia di MAN 1 Kuantan Singingi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa media wondershare quiz creator dibutuhkan sebagai media evaluasi pembelajaran inovatif berbasis teknologi sebesar 100 persen. Media evaluasi tersebut dapat mempermudah guru dan dapat memotivasi belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

Termokimia merupakan salah satu materi kimia yang dianggap sulit oleh siswa. Dalam memahami materi termokimia, siswa sering kali mengalami salah pemahaman atau miskonsepsi karena materi tersebut bersifat abstrak dan memerlukan representasi pada tingkat makroskopis, submakroskopis, dan simbolik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penyebab miskonsepsi siswa pada materi termokimia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif metode studi kasus. Instrumen pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi dan wawancara. Dari hasil analisis deskriptif diperoleh bahwa pada umumnya siswa mengalami miskonsepsi. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kesalahan siswa dalam memahami materi, kurang nya variasi guru dalam mengajar serta sumber belajar siswa yang kurang interaktif.

Abstract

Papaya (Carica papaya L) is a popular plant in tropical regions such as as Indoneisa. whole areas of papaya from the root to the tio of the leaf, including the flower, fruits and seeds have good health benefits. Most studies see only the beneficial effects of the fruit and leaves, since they treat papaya seeds as waste have and are of no benefit. Papaya seeds are used as traditional remedies such as treating diarrheal diseases, skin diseases. Papaya seeds as an antibacterial that can kill bacteria by damaging the integrity of bacterial cells membranes. The papaya seeds are thought to contain a high level metabolic compound such a flavonoids, tokoferols, a terponoids that works as antioxidal in free radical counteract. Antiodants are substances that have small molecular weights that impede the oxidation reaction by promoting free radicals and highly reactive molecules that cause resistance cell damage. The study aims to determine the antioxidant activity on the extract of papaya seeds by using methanol by method of 2.2- diphenyl 1- picrylhidrazyl (DPPH). Research has shown that extract of papay methanol has IC50 of 872,0964 ppm indicates the antioxidal activity in papaya seed extract is very weak.

Abstract

This research is research and development (R&D) aims to determine the feasibility of the media Comics developed as learning media on chemical bonds class X high school. This research was carried out at Benai 1 High School and was limited tested to 10 students in MIPA 5. Class X The feasibility of this comic media was seen from the validity of the material experts, media experts and students' responses to comic media. The results obtained showed that the developed comic media was suitable for use, evidenced by validation data from material experts and media experts respectively 92%, 84.4% included in the very feasible category and student responses to comic media gained a percentage of 96.3% included in the category of very positive responses. Abstract

This research on booklet development assisted by snakes and ladders media aims to explain the feasibility of developing a booklet assisted by snakes and ladders media in the colloid system subject for class XI SMA/MA equivalent students. This research method is research and development (R&D) with a 4D development model which includes the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. The data collection instruments used were through material expert validation sheets, learning media validation sheets, and student response validation sheets. The data analysis technique used is by calculating the percentage score of expert judgment. The results showed that the developed snake and ladder assisted Booklet media met the fairly valid category of three material experts, which was 76,78%, met the valid category of three media experts by 81,01%, and fulfill the valid category of student responses by 90%.
