Abstract

Background: Cancer is one of the four main diseases in society which can attack all levels of society without exception and regardless of social status, age or gender. The number of breast cancer sufferers shows an increase every year. Secondary prevention is carried out through early detection of breast cancer, namely breast self-examination (BSE), which is a simple, cheap, non-invasive and harmless early detection program. In line with the above, Aisyiah in the health assembly program carries the Gerakan Aisyiyah sehat (GRASS). One of the GRASS programs is reproductive health which focuses on the BSE Movement for Aisyiyah cadres. The problem with partners is that Aisyiyah cadres spread across 14 districts/cities have never carried out education or training for new cadres related to SADARI, both increasing the knowledge and skills of cadres. For this reason, it is necessary to help partners, in this case the Aisyiyah Regional Leadership, to carry out SADARI campaigns and training to increase the knowledge and skills of cadres. Objective: This activity aims to increase cadres' knowledge and skills in BSE examinations. The focus of the service is conducting training on BSE for cadres in 14 districts/cities in West Kalimantan. Method: the activity is to carry out a BSE campaign and BSE training for Aisyiyah cadres in 14 regencies/cities in West Kalimantan province. Results: From the activity evaluation, the results showed that the average knowledge score was 84.46 and the average skills score in the BSE examination was 82.97. Conclusion: SADARI campaigns and training increase the knowledge and skills of Aisyiyah cadres.

Abstract

Dahsyat Program (Hygienic and Healthy Kitchen) for Cadres of Posyandu Anggrek Bulan for Stunting Prevention  The data from Sembereng Community Health Center shows that stunting in toddlers decreased from 18.8% in 2018 to 13.0% in 2019 and 12.0% in 2020. Although the data indicates a decrease, stunting remains a concern as a public health problem, as it falls within the range of 12-19%. To reduce the proportion of stunting, various efforts have been made by the central government, including the implementation of the 5-pillar National Strategy for Accelerating Stunting Prevention. One action from the pillar requires human resources, such as posyandu cadres, to have adequate and trained capacities. In addition, the utilization of local food is considered to be able to contribute to the prevention and mitigation of stunting. Therefore, through community service activities in the Dahsyat Program (hygienic and healthy kitchen), it is expected that Posyandu cadres have the capacity in planning a balanced nutrition menu by utilizing local food to support stunting prevention. The results of this activity show an increase in the knowledge score of Posyandu cadres before and after the counseling, and the Fish and Carrot Meatball product from the Posyandu cadres' training is also preferred by toddlers. It is hoped that counseling and training can be carried out regularly by the Community Health Center with varied local food materials and topics.

Of the 6 sub-districts, East Pontianak District has the highest cases of stunting at 20.8% of toddlers. Objective: To determine the relationship between the use of technology, nutritional knowledge, family support, culture and lifestyle with the incidence of stunting in toddlers aged 24-59 months in the Kapuas River area, Pontianak City. The population in this study was all children aged 24-59 months in the riverside area Kapuas. Method: The research design used case control with a 1:1 sample (92 samples). The sampling technique for the group of cases (Stunting) in this study was carried out using a probability sample, namely simple random Stunting and non-Stunting toddlers aged 24-59 months in the Kapuas River area, Pontianak City (Case) Retrospective (Control) sampling. In this study, the sample was divided into two, namely case samples and control samples, each of which had inclusion and exclusion criteria, consisting of 46 cases and 46 controls. The statistical test used was chi-square with a confidence level of 95%. Results: This research shows that there is a relationship between maternal nutritional knowledge (p value = 0.002 OR = 4.330), family support (p value = 0.011 OR = 3.248), lifestyle (p value = 0.001 OR=4.680) and there is no relationship between utilization technology (p value = 1.000 OR = 1.102), culture (p value = 0.210 OR = 1.852). Conclusion: Increasing mothers' knowledge regarding nutrition is one of the factors that can influence the occurrence of stunting in children under five, both in rural and urban areas. Families also have an important role in shaping culture and health behavior and lifestyle views can influence attitudes, behavior, and the response given by the mother to her child.

Abstract

Long queues to get health services are still a major obstacle for the community, which is exacerbated by the knowledge gap regarding the use of the Mobile JKN application. Many communities, especially the Women-Headed Household Empowerment (PEKKA) group, do not understand the benefits and how to use this application. This condition has an impact on the low quality of National Health Insurance (JKN) services. This community service activity aims to increase community knowledge and participation in the JKN program through education and practice of using the Mobile JKN application. The method used was lecture and hands-on practice. The material presented included activation procedures, application benefits, available features, and tutorials. The results of the activity showed an increase in the average knowledge of respondents from 55.1 to 77.3 after counseling. Most of the participants also managed to practice the use of the application features correctly. Increased use of this application facilitates and accelerates the health service administration process and increases user satisfaction. Hopefully, this information can be disseminated to the surrounding community so that more people can benefit from the Mobile JKN application.

Abstract

Background: RS Bhayangkara Pontianak faces challenges in managing patient queues due to the high volume of visits and low utilization of online queue applications based on the Khanza Health Management Information System (SIMKES). Contribution: This community service activity aims to improve patients’ and families’ understanding and ability to use online queue applications independently. Method: Through a participatory educational approach, the educational intervention lasted one day and involved 45 participants who had never used the application. Education was provided through short counselling sessions, leaflet distribution, video tutorial screening, and direct simulation of application use. Results: 51.1% of participants were delighted with the educational material, 48.9% with the delivery method, and 60% felt helped by the simulation. Confidence in using the application increased significantly, especially among younger participants. However, older users showed limited progress due to low digital literacy. These results indicate that a participatory educational approach effectively encourages the adoption of digital health tools. Conclusion: The need for ongoing training for patients and staff, the provision of easily accessible self-study materials, and the integration of digital literacy education into routine hospital operations.

Abstract

Background: The National Social Security System is organized through a mandatory Social Health Insurance mechanism based on Law No. 40 of 2004 concerning the National Social Security System. The goal is to fulfill the basic needs of decent public health and the protection of the Indonesian people in the insurance system. However, the journey of the program with the most BPJS patients in the hospital is a problem, there are obstacles in the hospital regarding the submission of claims, the hospital bears the risk of costs if the claim submitted is delayed or the claim is not accepted. Objective: to determine the descriptive causes of the return of BPJS health claim files for inpatients in terms of claim submission requirements. Methods: Descriptive qualitative research using case studies where researchers explore a particular phenomenon (case) in a time and activity (program, event, process, institution or social group), collecting detailed and in-depth information using various data collection procedures during a certain period. Results: Some of the factors causing delays in claims are differences in coding perceptions by casmix officers, incorrect reading of diagnoses and medical records, less casemix officers as verifiers of internal claims in hospitals, regulations from health bpjs regarding disbursement of claims according to the MOU per month if it does not reach then the claim is postponed in the month of giving.
