Abstract

The demands of today's teachers must have skills in using technology as an effective teaching tool. However, the availability of facilities and infrastructure was an obstacle for teachers to apply technology, especially virtual reality in the learning process. Therefore, the Department of Physics Education, Untirta, Banten collaborated with the teacher assosication at Lebak Regency to provide training on the development of virtual reality assisted learning media for teachers at Lebak Regency. The methods used are presentation, discussion, demonstration and practicum. The results of this service show that 90% of teachers can create virtual physics classrooms using Millea lab and can be operated properly.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the response of a pair of followers of Islam and Sundanese Wiwitan to interfaith marriages in Cigugur. This research uses descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach. Whereas the framework for thinking uses the grand theory of Joachim Wach, middle of the Ninian Smart theory and the applicative theory of phenomenology of Edmund Husserl. The results showed that the response of interfaith marriages was as follows: Interfaith marriages were a hidden truth, Embodiments of compassion, differences were a necessity, human rights, feelings of tumarima, strong mentality, and not recognition but understanding.

Abstract

Physics teachers need to mastery TPACK and teamwork skills because they were essential in work. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between TPACK mastery and teamwork skills. The research method used a causal-comparative. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The sample consisted of 33 preservice physics teachers from Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa and Universitas Mulawarman. The data collection method used a questionnaire and an instrument in the form of a questionnaire with a Likert scale in a web-based survey. This instrument is used to measure TPACK and teamwork skills. Data analysis techniques used Pearson's correlation and regression analysis. The results showed no significant relationship between mastery of TPACK and teamwork skills, as indicated by Pearson’s correlation value of 0.061 with a significance of 0.735. However, if further tested based on every aspect of the two variables, there is a significant correlation between technology knowledge (TK), technology content knowledge (TCK) on the mastery of TPACK, and communication aspects on teamwork skills. Based on the regression test, the result obtained more than 90%, the communication aspect of teamwork skills influenced by TK and TCK. Abstract

Physics is often considered a challenging subject due to its abstract nature of matter and requires high visualization, especially on the topics of vibration, waves, sound, light, and optics. To overcome this, the Subject Teacher Meeting of Cilegon City Junior High School together with Physics Education lecturers FKIP Untirta held an innovative training that integrated the Deep Learning approach and PhET interactive simulation media. The training was carried out in two sessions at SMPN 5 and SMPN 1 Cilegon City involving 32 science teachers. Activities include identification of needs, delivery of contextual pedagogical materials, video playback of physics phenomena, PhET simulation practice, and interactive discussions. The results of the evaluation showed that 85–90% of participants experienced an increase in understanding of physics concepts and an interest in visual and exploratory learning methods. These findings indicate that the integration of Deep Learning and PhET can enrich physics learning to be more contextual, engaging, and aligned with 21st century competencies. This program is the first step towards the transformation of sustainable education with teachers as drivers of innovation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of air temperature, air humidity, and air pressure on rainfall, both individually and simultaneously. The method applied is multiple linear regression, with secondary data for 5 years from 2019 to 2023. The results showed that air humidity, air pressure, and minimum air temperature have a positive influence on rainfall, while maximum air temperature has a negative influence. Simultaneously air humidity, air pressure, minimum temperature, and maximum temperature together have a significant effect on rainfall by 55,6%. However, artially, only the minimum air temperature has a significant effect, while the variables of maximum air temperature, air humidity, and air pressure do not show a significant effect.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak literasi keuangan terhadap minat investasi di pasar modal syariah, dengan pendapatan sebagai variabel moderasi pada pekerja di Kabupaten Garut. Dalam konteks ini, literasi keuangan dianggap sebagai faktor penting yang mempengaruhi keputusan investasi, sementara pendapatan berperan sebagai variabel yang dapat memoderasi hubungan antara literasi keuangan dan minat investasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling pada 100 responden yang berusia 20-24 tahun dan telah memiliki pengalaman berinvestasi sebelumnya. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis dengan metode Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) menggunakan perangkat lunak SmartPLS 4.1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi keuangan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat investasi, dengan nilai p = 0.030 (<0.05), yang mengindikasikan bahwa hipotesis pertama diterima. Pengaruh literasi keuangan terhadap minat investasi memiliki kekuatan yang lemah dengan nilai koefisien sebesar 0.198. Namun, hipotesis kedua yang menguji pengaruh pendapatan sebagai variabel moderasi terhadap hubungan literasi keuangan dan minat investasi ditolak, karena nilai p untuk interaksi pendapatan dan literasi keuangan adalah 0.380 (>0.05), yang menunjukkan bahwa pendapatan tidak memoderasi hubungan tersebut. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah literasi keuangan memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap minat investasi di pasar modal syariah, tetapi pendapatan tidak berperan sebagai variabel moderasi dalam hubungan tersebut. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam memahami faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi minat investasi di kalangan pekerja, khususnya dalam konteks pasar modal syariah.

Abstract

Integrating robotics into the education curriculum is a progressive step that can open doors for academic and student progress. The problems faced by extracurricular students at KIR SMAN 2 Tangerang Regency related to integrating robotics with academics have yet to be achieved. To facilitate students' academic and professional progress, the solution to this problem is to hold robotics training to introduce the world of robotics. The methods used include presentations, discussions, demonstrations, and practicums. The results of this research produced students who were able to assemble an Arduino obstacle avoider robot.

Abstract

Currently, schools are competing to form extracurriculars in the field of writing, especially in the field of scientific writing such as the Youth Scientific Group. SMAN 1 Baros is one of the schools in Serang Regency that has the potential of students in the field of scientific writing. One of the places to shelter this potential is by forming extracurricular Adolescent Ilmiah Group (KIR). Students of PLP-PPLK Physics Education, Untirta, Banten collaborated with physics teachers at SMAN 1 Baros to provide assistance and the formation of the Youth Scientific Group of SMAN 1 Baros (KIBAR). In its implementation, several series of activities were carried out including socialization of KIR, registration of KIBAR members, basic training of scientific papers, research and preparation of scientific papers, and work titles. The result of this assistance is the formation of extracurricular activities of the Youth Scientific Group of SMAN 1 Baros (KIBAR) and its members have been able to make scientific papers. Then the response from the teacher council and students at SMAN 1 Baros was very positive with the establishment of this KIBAR extracurricular.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the characteristics and feasibility of Physics In 3D Virtual Reality media on Fission Reaction material to support students' Spatial Intelligence. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Rowntree development model. The Rowntree model stages consist of 3 stages, namely the planning stage, development stage and evaluation stage. The subjects of this research consisted of 2 expert validation people, namely material and experts and limited trials on 36 students who were/had studied renewable energy subjects. The results of the material expert validation obtained a score of 97%. The validation results from media experts obtained a score of 94%. The assessment results from students as users were 85%. It can be concluded that the PHYVAR media in fission reaction material is very suitable for use and supports students' spatial intelligence.

Abstract

Understanding the concept of physics students can not be achieved through lectures alone, but required practicum. However, limited equipment makes practicum difficult to do as an example of atomic spectroscopy. However, the use of information technology-based media in the form of virtual laboratories can be used as an alternative choice without losing its essence to facilitate Science Process Skills (SPS). This study aims to compare the improvement of students' SPS in atomic spectroscopy practicum using Advance Physics Virtual Laboratory (ADPHYLAB) and LABSTER. This research is a modified type of comparative research. The research time was conducted for 3 meetings, located in the Physics Laboratory of FKIP UNTIRTA. The research subjects were 8 physics laboratory assistants. The results showed that the SPS N-Gain score in the group using ADPHYLAB obtained consecutive values for classification, measurement, data interpretation and inferring indicators of 0.73; 0.89; 0.71 and 0.94, falling into the high category. While the group using LABSTER obtained scores on classification and measurement indicators of 0.40 and 0.53, falling into the medium category. While in the data interpretation and inferring indicators of 0.79 and 0.80 fall into the high category.
