Abstract

Insomnia merupakan gangguan tidur yang umum terjadi pada mahasiswa dan berdampak  terhadap kesehatan fisik, psikologis, dan prestasi akademik. Kurangnya pemahaman mengenai penyebab, gejala, dan penanganan insomnia menjadi faktor yang memperburuk kondisi tersebut. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Riau mengenai insomnia sebagai langkah preventif terhadap gangguan tidur. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi edukatif melalui penyampaian materi dan diskusi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya pemahaman peserta terkait definisi insomnia, faktor risiko, dampak jangka panjang, dan strategi pencegahan insomnia. Peserta menunjukkan antusiasme dan menyatakan perlunya kegiatan dilakukan secara berkelanjutan. Kegiatan sosialisasi membuktikan strategi yang efektif dalam mencegah gangguan tidur pada kalangan mahasiswa.

Abstract

Purpose - This study aims to analyze the importance of anti-corruption education as a strategic step to shape students' awareness and character from an early age, with the aim of introducing actions that include or have the potential to become corruption and building integrity through comprehensive character education. Methodology/Design/Approach - This study uses a content analysis method as a qualitative approach, namely by analyzing and interpreting data in the form of texts or documents containing information related to anti-corruption education, such as curriculum, teaching materials, or activity records at school. The findings of this study show how anti-corruption values ​​are integrated into the learning process and the role of teachers as agents of change in shaping students' character. Originality/Value - By integrating anti-corruption education, moral values, and the sustainability of daily practices, schools can create a culture that rejects corruption, thus forming a young generation with integrity, responsibility, and is ready to build a cleaner and fairer future.

Abstract

LGBT phenomena in the campus environment are not in line with the values of Pancasila as a nation's moral guideline and cause various debates in society. This study explores how Pancasila can be used as a basis for responding to LGBT phenomena in the campus environment. With a qualitative approach and phenomenological method, this research collects data through in-depth interviews with students and observations on campus. The results showed that the values of Pancasila applied by students in responding to LGBT phenomena by not supporting their existence in the campus environment. Students conduct socialization activities that reject LGBT, hold discussions on their negative impacts, embrace their friends who have fallen into the moral values of Pancasila, and engage in various activities aimed at maintaining social and moral norms that are in line with the values of Pancasila. Based on research findings, policy regulations are needed that become guidelines for the campus in addressing the LGBT phenomenon.

Abstract

Purpose-The development of digital technology presents challenges in shaping the character of citizens, especially for the younger generation growing up in a digital environment. Digital Citizenship Education is a strategic effort to prepare students to use technology responsibly, critically, and ethically. Research Methodology/Design/Approach-This study aims to analyze the role of teachers in instilling digital citizenship values ​​in educational settings. Result-Through literature analysis, it was found that teachers play a role as facilitators, role models, and curriculum developers capable of integrating digital literacy values, social media ethics, and legal awareness in the digital world into the learning process. Therefore, teachers are required to improve their digital competencies to provide guidance relevant to the needs of the times. Originality / Value-The success of digital citizenship education in schools depends heavily on teachers' readiness and commitment to internalizing citizenship values ​​appropriate to the context of the digital era.

Abstract

Salah satu program unggulan pemerintahan Presiden Prabowo Subianto adalah Program Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG). Tujuan utama program ini adalah untuk mengatasi masalah gizi dan meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia Indonesia dengan fokus khusus pada anak-anak dan ibu hamil. Program MBG diharapkan menciptakan keadilan karena setiap siswa memiliki kesempatan untuk mendapatkan makanan sehat secara gratis sebagai upaya mewujudkan sila kelima Pancasila. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang dilakukan di MTS IT Fadhillah Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini tidak hanya mengkaji aspek tantangan dan hambatan program MBG tetapi juga menyoroti peran komunikasi antara berbagai pihak dalam mendukung keberhasilan implementasi program MBG. Komunikasi yang kurang efektif dapat menimbulkan kesalahpahaman, keterlambatan distribusi, dan penurunan kualitas pelayanan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program MBG berdampak positif terhadap pemenuhan gizi siswa. Adapun tantangan pelaksanaan program yaitu masalah kesesuaian menu, distribusi makanan, dan koordinasi komunikasi antar pihak. Temuan ini menjadi dasar untuk memberikan masukan terhadap pengembangan dan keberlanjutan program MBG di masa mendatang.

Abstract

This paper wants to explain the efforts that lecturers should make in universities tofight and prevent the development of radicalism in universities by synchronizing thecurriculum in general compulsory subjects such as Pancasila, Citizenship, andReligious education. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a casestudy approach. This research was conducted at the internal quality assurance centerof the Politeknik Negeri Balikpapan in curriculum development for general coursesin fighting radicalism and the civic education lecturer team outside the PoliteknikNegeri Balikpapan. The results of the study would like to recommend curriculumsynchronization, among others: first, synchronizing the design of semester learningmaterials about radicalism in Pancasila, Citizenship, and Religious Education,secondly implementing a hidden curriculum in countering the development ofradicalist ideology, third conducting joint evaluations and research on thedevelopment of radicalism in higher education. Abstract

The single candidate for regional elections continues to increase. This study aims to describe the factors that cause the occurrence of a single candidate, theories and models that can explain this phenomenon, and the position of democracy in the election of a single candidate. Using Harzing's Publish or Perish software, 195 articles were obtained from 2013-2022. Through the Systematic Literature Review method, 50 journal articles were then analyzed. The results of the study explain that political education in political parties fails to cause a single candidate. Pragmatism of political parties, high political dowries, and failure of regeneration. Finally, make political parties form a grand coalition with a single candidate. Several theories can explain this phenomenon, such as Coalition Theory, Exchange Theory, Interest Groups Theory, Oligarchy Theory, Hegemony Theory, Deliberative Democracy, and others. In the study of democracy, a single candidate ultimately has an impact on the quality of democracy. This research opens up space for further research discussed in this article.

Abstract

Bullying verbal merupakan bentuk perundungan yang sering terjadi di lingkungan sekolah dan kerap dianggap sebagai candaan, sehingga sulit disadari oleh siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan edukasi anti-bullying verbal, nilai-nilai yang ditekankan dalam kegiatan sosialisasi, perubahan pemahaman dan sikap siswa terhadap candaan berlebihan, serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat pelaksanaan edukasi di SMP Al-Ulum Islamic School Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model analisis data interaktif yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa edukasi anti-bullying verbal mampu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa mengenai batasan bercanda, menumbuhkan empati, dan mendorong sikap komunikasi yang lebih sehat. Namun demikian, normalisasi ejekan dan pengaruh teman sebaya masih menjadi hambatan dalam pencegahan bullying verbal.

Abstract

Radikalisme kini telah berkembang menjadi ancaman nyata yang secara agresif menargetkan generasi muda, menyusup melalui celah interaksi media sosial dan lingkungan pergaulan sehari-hari. Dalam situasi krusial ini, institusi pendidikan memegang mandat vital sebagai benteng pertahanan utama untuk melindungi siswa dari paparan berbagai ideologi ekstrem. Penelitian ini secara spesifik bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi "Program Sekolah Damai" sekaligus menganalisis berbagai faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam upaya penguatan pendidikan karakter anti-radikalisme di SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode kualitatif deskriptif yang ketat. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik triangulasi komprehensif, meliputi observasi partisipan, studi dokumentasi, dan wawancara mendalam dengan sepuluh informan kunci yang dipilih secara purposive, termasuk kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa. Analisis data kemudian diproses menggunakan model interaktif Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa program ini sangat efektif dalam merekonstruksi pemahaman siswa. Terjadi transformasi persepsi yang signifikan, di mana pandangan siswa yang semula reduksionis dan terbatas pada aksi terorisme fisik, berkembang menjadi kesadaran kritis terhadap bahaya intoleransi dan kekerasan verbal di ruang digital. Meski ekosistem religius sekolah menjadi pendukung utama, penetrasi media sosial tetap menjadi hambatan dominan. Disimpulkan bahwa internalisasi nilai luhur Pancasila sukses memperkokoh ideologi siswa, namun mutlak memerlukan sinergi pengawasan digital berkelanjutan antara sekolah dan orang tua.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan metode dalam pembentukan karakter warga negara muda agar memiliki semangat kebangsaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Penelitian ini berlokasi di SMA Taruna Nusantara Magelang, Jawa Tengah. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik triangulasi data. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu: 1) pembentukan karakter warga negara muda melalui pembelajaran wawasan kebangsaan yang meliputi cinta tanah air, nasionalisme dan pentingnya rasa persatuan dan kesatuan. 2) penanaman wawasan kejuangan berupa sikap pantang menyerah, patriotis dan rela berkorban. 3) wawasan kebudayaan yang merupakan sikap menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai adiluhung bangsa Indonesia dan menghargai kebudayaan yang multikultural. 4) pembentukan karakter juga didukung oleh guru yang berperan sebagai pamong yang menerapkan filosofi pendidikan Ki Hajar Dewantara yaitu pengayoman, pengajaran, pengasuhan, dan keteladanan. Proses pembentukan karakter kebangsaan berbasis nilai-nilai kenusantaraan membentuk pribadi warga negara muda di SMA Taruna Nusantara Magelang, Jawa Tengah menjadi lebih nasionalis, dan patriotik. This study aims to find methods in building the character of young citizens so that they have a national spirit. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. This research is located at SMA Taruna Nusantara Magelang, Central Java. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed using data triangulation techniques. The results of this study are: 1) the formation of the character of young citizens through learning national insight which includes love for the motherland, nationalism and the importance of a sense of unity and oneness. 2) the cultivation of fighting insights in the form of unyielding, patriotic and self-sacrifice attitudes. 3) cultural insight which is an attitude of upholding the noble values of the Indonesian nation and respecting multicultural culture. 4) character building is also supported by teachers who act as tutors who apply Ki Hajar Dewantara's educational philosophy, namely protection, teaching, nurturing, and exemplary. The process of forming a national character based on archipelagic values forms the personality of young citizens at SMA Taruna Nusantara Magelang, Central Java, to become more nationalist and patriotic.
