Abstract

Kriteria diagnosis PPDGJ III menetapkan skizofrenia paranoid dengan memenuhi kriteria skizofrenia serta gejala halusinasi dan atau waham yang menonjol. Gangguan ini memiliki efek yang dapat mengganggu fungsi kerja dan sosial. Pada kasus ini, pasien perempuan, 40 tahun, diantar keluarganya dengan keluhan marah. Awal keluhan dimulai tahun 2011 lalu setelah subjek melahirkan anak pertamanya. Subjek sempat terkena baby blues sehingga sampai sekarang subjek menjadi pribadi yang pemarah dan tak jarang memukul anggota keluarga lain. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan asesmen berupa observasi, wawancara dan tes kepribadian berupa tes grafis. Hasil yang didapat diketahui bahwa pasien didiagnosis skizofrenia paranoid dan akan diberikan intervensi berupa terapi keluarga.

Abstract

This community service program aims to raise environmental awareness and empower the community of Karangampel Village in managing plastic waste through education, training, and mentoring in producing paving blocks made from recycled plastic waste. The activities were carried out through socialization, technical training, and direct mentoring for community members and the Karang Taruna youth organization. The results showed an increased public understanding of plastic waste management, the formation of new habits in waste segregation, and the emergence of local initiatives in developing recycled products. In addition, the active involvement of Karang Taruna served as an important indicator of social transformation through local leadership roles. This program is expected to become a model for sustainable community empowerment in the fields of environmental management and the creative economy. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan dan memberdayakan masyarakat Desa Karangampel dalam mengelola sampah plastik melalui edukasi, pelatihan, dan pendampingan pembuatan paving block berbahan daur ulang sampah plastik. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis, serta pendampingan langsung kepada masyarakat dan Karang Taruna. Hasil program menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat tentang pengelolaan sampah plastik, terbentuknya kebiasaan baru dalam pemilahan sampah, serta munculnya inisiatif lokal dalam mengembangkan produk daur ulang. Selain itu, keterlibatan aktif Karang Taruna menjadi indikator penting munculnya transformasi sosial melalui peran kepemimpinan lokal. Program ini diharapkan mampu menjadi model pemberdayaan masyarakat yang berkelanjutan di bidang lingkungan dan ekonomi kreatif.

Abstract

Mahasiswa yang memiliki banyak peran akademik maupun non akademik seringkali mengalami permasalahan manajemen waktu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh optimisme terhadap manajemen waktu mahasiswa S1 Universitas Muria Kudus. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling sebanyak 115 mahasiswa S1. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala likert optimisme dan manajemen waktu. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier dengan program SPSS 25.0. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (0,000<0,05) dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,401. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh optimisme terhadap manajemen waktu mahasiswa S1. Terdapat pengaruh positif yang artinya semakin tinggi optimisme maka semakin tinggi pula pengaruhnya terhadap manajemen waktu. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa optimisme mempunyai pengaruh terhadap manajemen waktu dengan besar pengaruh sebesar 40,1%. Sisanya sebesar 59,9% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain.

Abstract

Single parents raising children with visual impairments face persistent caregiving demands involving emotional strain, economic vulnerability, and limited institutional support. Although parenting stress in disability contexts has been widely documented, limited attention has been given to how coping strategies are shaped by systemic caregiving conditions, particularly in single-parent households. This study employed an Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) approach to explore the lived experiences and coping strategies of single parents raising children with visual impairments in a resource-constrained context. Three single parents aged over 40 years were recruited through purposive sampling. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and non-participant observations and analyzed thematically following IPA procedures. The findings indicate that caregiving stress is strongly influenced by structural factors, including financial pressure, limited access to specialized educational services, and the absence of a caregiving partner. Participants adopted problem-focused coping strategies such as restructuring the home environment, systematic daily caregiving planning, and consulting special education teachers when support was partially available. Emotion-focused coping strategies, including acceptance and positive reframing, were used to manage long-term stressors beyond individual control. Overall, coping among single parents emerged as contingent upon the interaction between individual capacities and systemic support availability. These findings highlight the need for integrating caregiver-focused support within special education services and strengthening community-based support networks to improve family well-being and educational outcomes for children with visual impairments.

Abstract

Anak migran Indonesia non-dokumen merupakan kelompok yang berada dalam kondisi kerentanan sosial dan psikologis akibat keterbatasan akses terhadap pendidikan formal, layanan kesehatan, serta dukungan emosional dari keluarga. Orang tua yang bekerja dengan jam kerja panjang menyebabkan anak menghabiskan sebagian besar waktunya di lingkungan pendidikan nonformal, seperti sanggar bimbingan belajar, yang berperan tidak hanya sebagai ruang akademik, tetapi juga ruang sosial dan emosional bagi anak. Namun, fokus kegiatan sanggar yang dominan pada aspek akademik sering kali belum sepenuhnya mengakomodasi kebutuhan emosional anak. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan menghadirkan program sharing space sebagai ruang aman psikologis untuk mendukung keterbukaan emosional dan regulasi emosi anak migran non-dokumen. Kegiatan ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain partisipatoris dan dilaksanakan selama tiga minggu di salah satu sanggar bimbingan belajar di bawah naungan Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur (SIKL). Subjek kegiatan adalah anak-anak migran Indonesia non-dokumen usia sekolah dasar. Program sharing space dilakukan secara konsisten setelah kegiatan pembelajaran dengan memberikan ruang bagi anak untuk berbagi pengalaman, mengekspresikan perasaan, serta membangun relasi yang aman dengan fasilitator. Evaluasi program dilakukan melalui observasi kualitatif terhadap perilaku anak selama kegiatan berlangsung. Hasil pelaksanaan program menunjukkan bahwa sharing space berperan dalam meningkatkan keterbukaan psikologis anak, yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya keberanian anak dalam bercerita, keterlibatan selama kegiatan, serta berkurangnya konflik antaranak. Relasi yang empatik dan non-menghakimi antara fasilitator dan anak menjadi faktor penting dalam menciptakan rasa aman emosional. Dengan demikian, sharing space dapat dipahami sebagai intervensi psikososial ringan yang aplikatif dan relevan dalam konteks pendidikan nonformal bagi anak migran non-dokumen.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how parents of children with hearing disabilities in Indonesia experience and construct emotional acceptance, with particular attention to the subjective meanings and emotional dynamics following their child’s diagnosis, as interpreted through an Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) framework. This research employed a qualitative design using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis. Data were collected through in-depth, semi-structured interviews and non-participant observations involving three parents of children with hearing disabilities enrolled at a public special education school (SLBN) in Central Java, Indonesia. The study focused on capturing parents’ lived experiences and meaning-making processes. Data analysis followed systematic IPA procedures, including idiographic analysis and cross-case interpretation, supported by triangulation and member checking to enhance credibility. The findings reveal that parents experience emotional acceptance through dynamic and fluctuating processes that resemble the stages of denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance as proposed by Kübler-Ross. However, these stages do not emerge in a linear sequence. Instead, parents’ emotional experiences shift depending on psychological conditions, interpersonal relationships, spiritual beliefs, and access to emotional support. Denial functions as an initial protective mechanism, anger reflects feelings of helplessness and loss of control, bargaining represents attempts to preserve hope, and depression manifests as emotional exhaustion and social withdrawal. Acceptance develops as parents reconstruct meanings of disability and parenthood, demonstrated through adaptive actions such as learning sign language and redefining expectations for their child’s development. This study contributes theoretically by demonstrating that emotional acceptance among parents of children with hearing disabilities is an ongoing, interpretative, and non-linear meaning-making process rather than a fixed emotional trajectory.

Abstract

This study aims to examine differences in adolescents’ climate worry in relation to parental roles. Parental roles in this context refer to parents’ engagement in discussions with their adolescents about climate change and the level of climate-related worry experienced by the parents themselves. The research employed a comparative quantitative method involving 85 adolescent participants. The measurement tool was a translated version of the 10-item Climate Change Worry Scale, which demonstrated a reliability coefficient of 0.858. Data analysis was conducted using the Mann Whitney test. The findings indicated that: (1) There was a significant difference in adolescents’ climate worry based on whether or not parents had engaged in discussions with them. Adolescents whose parents had discussed climate change reported higher levels of climate worry compared to those whose parents had not; and (2) There was a significant difference in adolescents’ climate worry based on parental worry levels. Adolescents with parents who experienced climate worry reported higher climate worry than those whose parents did not. These results suggest that adolescents who engage in climate-related discussions with their parents tend to exhibit higher climate worry, likely because a majority of parents were found to experience climate worry themselves

Abstract

Adolescence is a transitional period marked by increasing self‑direction. This study examined whether father involvement and family functioning are associated with adolescent autonomy. Using multistage cluster sampling across several districts/cities in Central Java, Indonesia, we analysed survey data from 929 adolescents aged 12–19 years. Participants completed validated scales of adolescent autonomy, family functioning, and father involvement. Statistical analysis was conducted using the bootstrapping technique to test the strength of the relationship and its effects. The results indicated that both family functioning and father involvement had a significant positive relationship with adolescent autonomy. Increased family functioning and active father involvement were associated with higher levels of autonomy in adolescents. Findings suggest that adolescents tend to report higher autonomy in supportive family climates with engaged fathers, informing family‑based strategies to strengthen self‑regulation and decision‑making. These insights provide practical implications for strengthening adolescent psychosocial development through family-based interventions.
