Abstract

Mahakam Ulu Regency is a new autonomous region formed separated from Kutai Barat regency of East Kalimantan Province in 2013. The local government of Mahakam Ulu has set to develop their local economy by utilizing and developing local resources. The regency’s geographical position at the northern border of Indonesia, together with its majority land coverage of natural forests, urges Mahakam Ulu to define its potential economic activities that support its people’s welfare and preserve its nature at the same time. This research aims to understand the regional development potential of Mahakam Ulu Regency on the forestry and agriculture sector, as well as to define strategies for development. Competitive commodities analysis, land suitability analysis and land availability analysis for the competitive commodities were conducted to obtain accurate information on the region’s forestry and agriculture potential. Analysis shows that Mahakam Ulu regency has forestry potentials in the form of development of community forest with non-timber forest products (NTFP) as the main commodity, environment service business in the form of ecotourism, utilization of timber forest products and NTFP, as well as development of customary forests. On the other side, potential agricultural commodities in Mahakam Ulu regency covers paddy, rubber, cacao and oil palm.

Abstract

Abstract The concept of Transit Oriented Development (TOD) is starting to bloom in a number of cities in Indonesia because it is considered as one of the possible solutions to urban transportation problems through maximizing land use with a transportation system that supports sustainable life. One of the areas in Surakarta City designated by the Ministry of Transportation to be a pilot project in implementing the TOD concept is Tirtonadi Terminal area. Tirtonadi Terminal is one of the main entrances to Surakarta City as the center for the development of Subosukawonosraten (Surakarta, Boyolalu, Sukoharjo, Karanganyar, Wonogori, Sragen, Klaten) regional area. This study aims to see the suitability of Tirtonadi Terminal area with the TOD concept. The method used is suitability scoring on the variables which are translated into several indicators and subindicators. The results of scoring calculations for each variable are classified using the Guttman scale. Based on the scoring results, a score of 4.23 or 52.89% is obtained with values for the variables of walk (0.33), cycle (0), connect (1), transit (1), mix (0.8), densify (0), compact (0.6), shift (0.5). Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of the TOD concept in Tirtonadi Terminal area is appropriate but requires attention, particularly on variables of cycle and densify that are scored zero in the area. Keywords: Compatibility, Surakarta City, Tirtonadi Terminal, TOD Abstrak Konsep Transit Oriented Development (TOD) atau pembangunan yang berorientasi transit mulai marak direncanakan di sejumlah kawasan perkotaan di Indonesia karena dianggap dapat menjadi salah satu solusi permasalahan transportasi perkotaan melalui optimalisasi guna lahan dengan sistem transportasi yang mendukung kehidupan yang berkelanjutan. Salah satu kawasan di Kota Surakarta yang ditunjuk oleh Kementerian Perhubungan untuk menjadi pilot project penerapan konsep TOD yaitu kawasan Terminal Tirtonadi. Terminal Tirtonadi merupakan salah satu pintu masuk utama menuju Kota Surakarta yang merupakan pusat pengembangan wilayah regional Subosukawonosraten (Surakarta, Boyolalu, Sukoharjo, Karanganyar, Wonogori, Sragen, Klaten). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kesesuaian kawasan Terminal Tirtonadi terhadap konsep TOD. Metode yang digunakan yaitu skoring kesesuaian pada variabel yang dijabarkan menjadi beberapa indikator dan subindikator. Hasil perhitungan skoring dari setiap variabel diklasifikasikan menggunakan skala Guttman. Berdasarkan hasil skoring, didapatkan angka 4,23 atau 52,89% dengan nilai pada variabel walk atau berjalan kaki (0,33), cycle atau bersepeda (0), connect atau menghubungkan (1), transit atau angkutan umum (1), mix atau mencampurkan (0,8), densify atau memadatkan (0), compact atau merapatkan (0,6), dan shift atau beralih (0,5). Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi konsep TOD di Kawasan Terminal Tirtonadi masih memerlukan perhatian, khususnya pada variabel cycle dan densify yang masih bernilai nol di kawasan. Abstract

Setiap individu pasti menginginkan tinggal di lingkungan yang bersih dan alami. Memiliki lingkungan tempat tinggal yang sehat memiliki banyak manfaat positif, seperti mendukung kesehatan fisik dan mental penghuni, mengurangi risiko kecelakaan dan bencana, mendorong produktivitas, dan membuat lingkungan terlihat indah secara visual. Menurut World Health Organization (WHO), terdapat beberapa syarat untuk memiliki lingkungan sehat, seperti udara bersih, iklim yang stabil, pasokan air yang memadai, sanitasi yang baik, penggunaan bahan kimia yang aman, perlindungan dari radiasi, lingkungan kerja yang aman, pertanian yang berkelanjutan, kota yang mendukung kesehatan, dan pelestarian alam. Mewujudkan permukiman sehat dan alami di kawasan perkotaan memiliki tantangan tersendiri karena kepadatan penduduk, pembangunan yang sudah ada, dan dampak urbanisasi. Tantangan yang sama dihadapi oleh RW 01 Kelurahan Mojo, di Kota Surakarta, yang yang merupakan kawasan yang ditata dengan konsep peremajaan dan konsoldasi lahan. Dalam upaya untuk menciptakan kesadaran dan inisiatif masyarakat di RW 01 Kelurahan Mojo untuk menciptakan lingkungan sehat dan alamiah, dilakukan kegiatan sosialisasi permukiman sehat dan kegiatan penanaman pohon bersama. Harapannya, upaya ini dapat menjadi contoh baik bagi permukiman perkotaan lain di Indonesia.

Abstract

A disability-friendly city is a city that meets all the needs of people with disabilities according to service standards in education, health, employment, rehabilitation, social needs, and transportation. The Yogyakarta City Government has declared itself as a ‘Disability Friendly City’ since 2015. To fulfill the movement needs of people with disabilities, the Yogyakarta City government provides mass public transport, Trans Jogja. In addition to Trans Jogja, there are other modes, namely Difa Bike, two-wheeled private, public transportation, four-wheeled private, public transportation, and private vehicles. This study aims to determine the transportation mode selection preferences for persons with disabilities in Yogyakarta City as a Disability Friendly City. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis to determine the factors influencing persons with disabilities in choosing transportation modes. This study's findings state that most people with disabilities prefer private vehicle modes based on influential factors: travel destination, travel distance, travel time, transportation costs, and vehicle ownership.

Abstract

Surakarta City, as one of the strategic service centers in Central Java Province, is facing challenges in realizing equal distribution of educational facilities by the Indonesian National Standard (SNI). This study aims to evaluate existing conditions, gaps in needs, and the level of conformity between the provision of educational facilities and applicable standards. The approaches used include quantitative descriptive methods, spatial analysis, buffering techniques, Average Nearest Neighbor Analysis (ANN), Kernel Density Estimation (KDE), and descriptive qualitative analysis. The findings show a striking inequality in the distribution of educational facilities between regions, with a higher concentration of facilities in the city center compared to the outskirts. Through ANN and KDE analysis, it was found that the distribution pattern of educational facilities varies, from clustered, random, to scattered patterns, depending on the level of education. The shortage of facilities was recorded at the elementary school level of 140 units, junior high schools 49 units, and senior high schools/vocational schools 41 units. Based on these results, it is recommended that a strategy be developed to distribute educational facilities more evenly, considering spatial needs and demographic dynamics. This finding is an important foundation in planning sustainable education based on a spatial approach in Surakarta City.

Abstract

The 2013-2031 Karanganyar Regency RTRW directs Gondangrejo District as an area designated for medium to large-scale industries, although on the other hand there are rural settlement areas in existing conditions. The industry in Gondangrejo District is growing and developing which is agglomerated along the Solo-Purwodadi Road. The development of this agglomeration has an impact on the increasing density of rural settlements around the industry. Therefore, this study aims to measure changes in the density of residential buildings affected by the development of industrial agglomeration in Gondangrejo District, Karanganyar Regency between 2004-2024. The research method used is quantitative with regional relative comparison analysis techniques, average nearset neighbors, and kernel density analysis. The results of the study show that industrial agglomeration in Gondangrejo District has experienced low-level development. The density of residential buildings has also increased to 25 units/ha. The growth of residential buildings, boarding houses, shops/stalls, and parking facilities around the industry is a direct impact of the development of industrial agglomeration on the density of residential buildings.

Abstract

Desa Sumberdodol, yang terletak di Kecamatan Panekan, Kabupaten Magetan, Provinsi Jawa Timur, merupakan salah satu desa yang progresif dalam mengelola potensinya. Dengan udara yang sejuk, lanskap pegunungan yang indah, dan sumber air melimpah, desa ini memiliki berbagai potensi, khususnya di bidang pariwisata dan sumber daya air. Desa Sumberdodol juga dikembangkan sebagai Desa Perikanan Cerdas atau Smart Fisheries Village (SFV) yang diluncurkan oleh Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan bekerjasama dengan Pemerintah Kabupaten Magetan pada tahun 2023. Kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas lingkungan Kawasan SFV melalui pengijauan kawasan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui kerjasama Grup Riset Sustainable Urban Region Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) dengan mitra Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) Tirta Karya Mandiri Desa Sumberdodol. Penghijauan dilakukan berupa penanaman 50 bibit pohon Ketapang kencana sebagai peneduh dengan melibatkan masyarakat. Melalui kegiatan penghijauan ini, diharapkan jalan akses menjadi lebih hijau, teduh, terhindar dari erosi tanah, sehingga menjadi nyaman bagi pengunjung yang datang ke SFV. Peningkatan jumlah kunjungan ke SFV diharapkan dapat mendukung pengembangan usaha BUMDes, mendukung pengembangan perekonomian Desa Sumberdodol, serta menjadikan SFV sebagai ruang interaksi sosial yang produktif.

Abstract

Tingginya jumlah komuter Kota Yogyakarta pengguna Commuter Line Yogyakarta-Surakarta yang menuju Kota Surakarta dihadapkan pada pemilihan moda feeder untuk menjangkau lokasi destinasi dari stasiun tujuannya di Kota Surakarta. Banyaknya pengguna transportasi umum pribadi dibandingkan pengguna transportasi umum massal diantara komuter memunculkan pertanyaan apa yang menjadi pengaruh dalam pemilihan moda oleh komuter pengguna Commuter Line  dari Yogyakarta menuju Surakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh karakteristik pergerakan terhadap pemilihan moda oleh komuter. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis regresi linear berganda dengan variabel dependen yaitu jenis pemilihan moda transportasi dan variabel independen yaitu karakteristik pergerakan komuter. Sampel penelitian ini adalah komuter KRL Yogyakarta-Surakarta yang menggunakan moda transportasi umum dalam melakukan pergerakannya di Kota Surakarta. Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan yaitu penyebaran kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan pengaruh pemilihan moda feeder berdasarkan karakteristik pergerakan komuter di Stasiun Purwosari, Stasiun Solo Balapan, dan Stasiun Solo Jebres.

Abstract

Permukiman kumuh merupakan salah satu prioritas nasional menurut UU Nomor 17 tahun 2007 tentang Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Nasional Tahun 2005-2025. Permukiman kumuh ditentukan dari kondisi bangunan gedung, jalan lingkungan, penyediaan air minum, drainase lingkungan, pengelolaan air limbah, pengelolaan persampahan, dan proteksi kebakaran. Pemerintah Indonesia menangani permukiman kumuh melalui program Kota Tanpa Kumuhatau KOTAKU. Keberhasilan dari program KOTAKU dilihat dari ketercapaian tujuan program yang terangkum dalam nilai pada Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Jawa Tengah merupakan provinsi dengan luasan kumuh terluas di Indonesia, dimana Kabupaten Klaten merupakan salah satu kabupaten di dalamnya yang paling berhasil mengurangi luas permukiman kumuh sebesar 88,7% hingga tahun 2021. Dua kelurahan/desa yang memiliki indeks tercepat dalam penanganan permukiman kumuh di Kabupaten ini ialah Kelurahan Bareng dan Desa Merbung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor pendukung dalam pelaksanaan program KOTAKU di Kabupaten Klaten di kedua desa tersebut yang dilaksanakan dengan pola pemugaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif dan tekniik analisis skoring. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa faktor-faktor pendukung keberhasilan program di Kelurahan Bareng adalah struktur kelembagaan, status legalitas lahan, ketersediaan lahan, karakteristik kebijakan, anggaran, tahapan pelaksanaan program, dan kinerja Kelompok Pemanfaat dan Pemelihara (KPP). Di sisi lain, faktor-faktor pendukung di Desa Merbung adalah partisipasi masyarakat, struktur kelembagaan, ketersediaan lahan, status legalitas lahan, anggaran, semua tahapan pelaksanaan program, pemeliharaan prasarana, serta pelaksanaan kegiatan pembangunan kemandirian masyarakat.

Abstract

Industrial agglomeration refers to the clustering of industries in a specific region, where they are in close proximity and have interconnections. This phenomenon not only stimulates the growth of industrial activities, but also influences the development of other economic sectors. As industrialization expands, it gradually extends into rural areas that usually have abundant undeveloped land primarily used for agriculture. Consequently, this trend prompts a transition from agricultural to industrial land use. Pringsurat subdistrict and Kranggan subdistrict are located in Temanggung Regency, Central Java Province. Both of these subdistricts are designated as Industrial Designation Areas (KPI) according to the Temanggung Regency Spatial Plan 2011-2031. The plan has implications for the rapid development of large and medium industries. The purpose of this study is to examine the growth of industrial agglomeration in Pringsurat subdistrict and Kranggan subdistrict and their impact on agricultural land conversion. This research was conducted from 2023 to 2024 and utilizing data from 2021 and 2022. The approach of this research is descriptive quantitative and utilizes spatial analysis with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and descriptive analysis techniques. Based on the results of the analysis, there is an agglomeration of large and medium industries in Pringsurat subdistrict and Kranggan subdistrict. The growth of agglomeration encourages the establishment of new industries and industry linkages. Furthermore, agglomeration growth has led to changes in land use, an increase in the variety of land uses, and an increase in land prices. Results of the analysis also show that there are regulatory changes in the development of industrial agglomeration that will affect to local government decision in the future.
