Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji hubungan antara kreativitas guru dan hasil belajar kognitif, mengetahui seberapa besar hubungan antara kreativitas guru dengan hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas XII IPA dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kreativitas guru.Teknik Purposive digunakan dalam teknik sampling ini.Data diperoleh dari 37 siswa kelas XII SMA Negeri 2, SMA Kristen 2, dan SMA Theresiana.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis korelasi menggunakan SPSS versi 0.18. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan positif antara kreativitas guru dan hasil belajar kognitif (pSig = 0,030; p <0,05). Artinya semakin tinggi hasil kreativitas guru semakin tinggi hasil belajar siswa.Nilai Pearson Correlation adalah 0,512 yang memiliki kategori cukup kuat.Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kreativitas guru adalah 1) kelengkapan sarana dan prasarana di sekolah masih minim dan mempengaruhi guru 2) kurangnya pelatihan yang diperoleh guru dan model pembelajaran inovatif berdampak pada pengetahuan guru dalam merancang pembelajaran yang bersifat konstruktif.

Abstract

The purpose of this study aims to develop mobile learning based edugame based on product feasibility and test the effectiveness of mobile learning based Edugame in improving digital literacy in students. The instruments used are tests, questionnaires, and observation sheets. The research subjects were grade XI of Senior High School at Salatiga. This research was carried out through two phases, namely the first phase of developing mobile learning based edugame using the ADDIE model and the second phase testing the mobile learning based Edugame developed to analyze its effectiveness. From the results of the trial find: 1) mobile learning based edugame developed valid with an average value of 82,24% (content expert) good category and 84,02 (media expert) good category, 2) the practicality of mobile learning based Edugame seen from student response questionnaires with a value of 81,25% good category, 3) the effectiveness of mobile learning based Edugame in terms of digital literacy completeness, namely 3,42 very good category

Abstract

This study aims to develop a module based on discovery learning in improving scientific literacy skills in the 11th grade of science class in senior high school. This study refers to the modified Borg and Gall model into 7 steps, (1) preliminary study; (2) planning; (3) preparation of modules; (4) expert judgment; (5) revisions; (6) limited trials; (7) revision II. The research samples are in XI MIPA 2 and XI MIPA class at 3 SMAN 1 Bringin. The technique of collecting data using written tests, questionnaires, and observations. Hypothesis testing to measure the increase in cognitive learning outcomes of students using an independent t-test on n-gain students. Assessments from material experts, subject matter teachers, colleagues, and high school students show that the modules that have been developing suitable for use in the learning process with an achievement level of 86%, 95%, 88%, and 90% respectively. The results of the t-test showed an increase in students' literacy skills (p <0.05) of 0.71 (high category). It can be concluded, the modules that have been developing become worthy to use in the learning process and effective in enhancing the scientific literacy skills of senior high school students in XI class.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul berdasarkan discovery learning dalam meningkatkan keterampilan literasi sains di kelas XI MIPA di Sekolah Menengah Atas. Studi ini mengacu pada model Borg dan Gall yang dimodifikasi menjadi 7 langkah, (1) studi pendahuluan; (2) perencanaan; (3) persiapan modul; (4) penilaian ahli; (5) revisi; (6) uji coba terbatas; (7) revisi II. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas XI MIPA 2 dan XI MIPA di 3 SMAN 1 Bringin. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes tertulis, angket, dan observasi. Pengujian hipotesis untuk mengukur peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif siswa menggunakan uji-t independen pada siswa n-gain. Penilaian dari ahli materi, guru materi pelajaran, kolega, dan siswa sekolah menengah menunjukkan bahwa modul yang telah dikembangkan cocok untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran dengan tingkat pencapaian masing-masing 86%, 95%, 88%, dan 90%. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan baca tulis siswa (p <0,05) dari 0,71 (kategori tinggi). Dapat disimpulkan, modul yang telah dikembangkan menjadi layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran dan efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan literasi ilmiah siswa SMA di kelas XI.Kata Kunci: discovery learning, modul, uji jaringan tumbuhan

Abstract

Problem-solving is a daily activity that stimulates critical thinking in finding solutions. Learning fungi material also requires problem-solving skills to dig deeper into the potential of fungi based on the structure, function, and life cycle of fungi associated with applications in everyday life. This study aims to develop PjBL-based animation media to foster problem-solving skills in Fungi material. The type of research used is Research and Development using the ADDIE model. The research subjects were students of class X science at SMA Kristen 1 Salatiga. The development research results show that the animation media based on Project Based Learning is valid from the material aspect by 85% and the media aspect by 88.5%. The practicality test by student response got 83.75% achievement. The product trial shows that animated media-based PjBL can increase significantly, namely Sig. < (0.000 < 0.05) means that PjBL-based animation media effectively improves students' problem-solving skills on mushroom material. Based on the research, it can state that the PjBL-based animation media is declared feasible to be used as a learning medium in the fungicide material to improve problem-solving abilities. Abstract

ABSTRACT The digital-based learning by using the internet can be a solution that applicable to build learning interactions between teachers and students during the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this community service activity (PkM) is to assist teachers from PPKS Foundation to design innovative learning and courage-based assessments. This activity was used an active learning approach that directed each participant to contribute actively in designing learning tools. The data technique used a questionnaire, interviews, and lesson plan as supporting document. The results showed that junior high school teachers contribute high participation in designing an online lesson plan, while vocational teachers had a higher variety about using digital devices in other to online platforms. Priority recommendations in PkM activities were that there was a need for an assessment of cognitive and motoric skill evaluation reviewed from another level, starting from kindergarten to vocational school, training for learning tools by colleagues, and support for novice teachers that need to be done through sharing knowledge with teachers who already have a lot of experience. ABSTRAK Pembelajaran berbasis digital dengan menggunakan internet menjadi salah satu solusi yang dapat diterapkan untuk membangun interaksi pembelajaran antara guru dan peserta didik pada masa Pandemi Covid 19. Tujuan dari kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini adalah melakukan pendampingan kepada guru Yayasan PPKS untuk mendesain pembelajaran inovatif dan asesmen berbasis daring. Kegiatan PkM ini menggunakan pendekatan participant active learning yang mengarahkan setiap peserta berkonstribusi aktif untuk mendesain perangkat pembelajaran dan penilaian secara daring. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, wawancara dan dokumen pendukung berupa perangkat pembelajaran. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa guru pada jenjang SMP memiliki partisipasi yang tinggi dalam merancang perangkat pembelajaran, sementara guru SMK memiliki variasi yang lebih tinggi terkait penggunaan platform digital untuk pengajaran. Rekomendasi prioritas dalam kegiatan PkM adalah perlu adanya pendapingan tentang evaluasi kognitif dan keterampilan per jenjang dimulai dari TK hingga SMK, pelatihan perangkat pembelajaran oleh rekan sekerja dan dukungan bagi guru pemula perlu dilakukan melalui sharing pengetahuan dengan guru-guru yang telah memiliki banyak pengalaman.

Abstract

Tempeh is a type of soybean-based food made by a fermentation process. Processing soybeans into tempeh can involve adding natural additives to increase nutritional value and to make it more fulfilled. Cheese is a food derived from animal milk with high protein content. Adding cheese to soybean tempeh fermentation can increase tempeh protein so that the protein in tempeh consists of vegetable and animal protein. The study's objective was to measure protein content, moisture content, and organoleptic tests (taste, smell, color, and mycelial appearance) on tempeh when given cheese powder. The method used is firstly drying cheese into powder, then making tempeh with cheese powder added to various concentrations (0%, 0.5%, 1%, 1.5%, and 2%). The Lowry method tested the protein content, while the water content was tested using gravimetry. An organoleptic test was carried out based on several parameters: odor, taste, color, and mycelium density. Results from this study, the results of the increase in protein levels from each given concentration. The water content did not provide a significantly different effect from any given concentration of cheese. And based on the organoleptic test, the addition of cheese to tempeh did not affect the mycelium's color, taste, smell, and density. Adding cheese to soybean tempeh can be an alternative in increasing protein content; besides, adding cheese does not significantly affect the product's taste, smell, color, and Mycelium distribution density.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui perbandingan antara program internasional dan reguler terhadap ketercapaian ujian akhir dari peserta didik di SMP Kristen Kalam Kudus Surakarta.Hasil ujian nasional Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) dari tahun 2012-2017 digunakan untuk membandingkan kedua program berdasarkan uji statistik Mann-Whitney sebagai dasar pengambilan keputusan. Selain itu, dilakukan analisis faktor yang mempengaruhi ketercapaian hasil belajar yang meliputi: sarana prasarana, kompetensi profesional guru, dan ketercapaian kurikulum didapatkan melalui angket yang diberikan kepada guru IPA dan observasi. Berdasarkan uji Mann-Whitney, nilai P uji kedua kelompok ini sebesar 0.005 (sig. < 0.05) dari rata-rata program internasional yaitu 81.45 yang lebih besar dibandingkan rata-rata program reguler yaitu 78.32. Perbedaan hasil belajar tersebut dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor seperti sarana prasarana, kompetensi profesional guru, dan ketercapaian kurikulum. Program internasional cenderung lebih baik pada ketiga faktor tersebut dibandingkan program reguler meskipun ketercapaian nilai UN IPA antar tahun pelajaran dari program internasional menunjukkan tren menurun apabila dibandingkan dengan tren program reguler yang cenderung meningkat. Analisis terhadap faktor yang mempengaruhi hasil belajar menunjukkan bahwa sarana prasarana, kompetensi professional guru, dan ketercapaian kurikulum akan mempengaruhi ketercapaian pembelajaran peserta didik.Kata kunci : program kelas reguler, program internasional

Abstract

This purpose of this study is to: (1) describe the implementation of contextual learning by science teacher in Salatiga Private Middle School, (2) analyze the challenges of science teacher in Salatiga Private Middle School in implementing contextual learning. The study employed qualitative research in which the sample was 4 teachers of private middle school of Salatiga. The data obtained from the observation and questionnaire instruments constructed from six criteria. The criteria of contextual learning are: 1) constructivism, 2) asking, 3) finding, 4) learning community, 5) modeling, 6) reflection. Data analysis from the research that has been conducted is by processing data descriptively. The research shows that the implementation of contextual learning in every Private Middle School of Salatiga for science subject are on the good category (score interval: 2,82 ≤ score < 3,37). The highest accomplishment from the whole indicator of contextual learning from finding aspect with score 3,00 (good category). Teacher's challenges in implementing contextual learning, in general, are the limited facility to apply scientific method through practicum or experimenting in the laboratory, lack of opportunities for teachers in developing contextual-based media, and lack of assistance provided by the teacher in the aspects of a learning community, constructivism, and finding.

Abstract

Tempeh (tempe) has been known to have antibacterial properties due to the presence of glycoprotein compounds, antimicrobial peptides, and flavonoids produced by the fungus Rhizopus spp. during the fermentation process. The addition of garlic powder is expected to increase the antibacterial activity of tempeh against contaminant bacteria. This research aimed to analyze the antibacterial activity, water content, and organoleptic properties (taste, aroma, and color) of tempeh with garlic powder supplementation. Garlic powder was added to the tempeh fermentation process with various concentrations of 0.15, 0.25, 0.50, and 0.75%. Antibacterial activity, water content, and qualitative organoleptic tests were analyzed using paper disk diffusion, gravimetric, and questionnaire methods. The results showed that the addition of garlic powder in all treatments for Bacillus sp had shown an inhibitory activity with moderate strength with an inhibitory power of 0.15; 0.25; 0.50; and 0.75% respectively 8±1.71; 10±1.71; 7±0.96; 9±0.58. Meanwhile, Escherichia coli showed no inhibitory activity. The addition of garlic powder at a concentration of 0.25% reduced the water content to 58.25±0.03. In addition, the addition of garlic powder was not able to affect the color but was able to influence the aroma and taste of tempeh. Garlic powder was able to inhibit Bacillus sp with the best concentration of 0.25%; the addition of garlic powder can reduce the water content and affect the aroma and taste of tempeh.

Abstract

The STEM Center for Teaching and Learning at Parahyangan Catholic University, in collaboration with Ruang Bergerak, organized a community outreach program as part of its Tridharma commitment. The program included seminars and hands-on training for science teachers from the MGMP (Subject Teachers Forum) in Salatiga. The goal was to introduce project-based learning (PBL) methods using a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) approach within the context of smart agriculture. This initiative aimed to help teachers foster essential 21st-century skills—such as problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration—that had noticeably declined during the pandemic. This program was designed to support teachers in implementing integrated, project-based learning that not only crosses disciplinary boundaries but also ties directly to measurable learning outcomes. Teachers were encouraged to connect the projects to real-world contexts, making assessments more meaningful and relevant to each subject area. Additionally, the smart agriculture project served as a practical application of P5 (Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila) under Indonesia’s Merdeka Curriculum. Teachers were given the flexibility to adapt the prototype projects for further development in their own schools, aligning with each school’s unique goals and agreements. Over the course of two days, participating teachers learned how to design and execute contextual, problem-based STEM projects. They gained hands-on experience with technologies like Arduino and agricultural sensors. The program consisted of two main phases, the first involved expert-led workshops, and the second focused on collaborative project design based on local agricultural challenges. Despite the limited time, the program successfully fostered collaboration among teachers and expanded their understanding of how integrated, STEM-based learning can support both academic goals and character development through P5.
