Abstract

PT Mega Andalan Kalasan adalah perusahaan terkemuka di bidang peralatan rumah sakit di Indonesia. Dalam kegiatan produksi, berbagai potensi bahaya antara lain kecelakaan mesin, lantai licin, dan tidak adanya pengelolaan limbah yang baik. Faktor lingkungan seperti kebisingan, suhu tinggi, dan pencahayaan yang tidak memadai juga berkontribusi terhadap terjadinya kecelakaan kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode HIRARC dan SCAT untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengurangi risiko kecelakaan kerja, sebagian besar disebabkan oleh kesalahan manusia karena penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) yang tidak merata. Potensi bahaya termasuk ledakan, cedera gerinda, percikan bahan kimia, dan tergelincir. Hasil penilaian menunjukkan bahwa risiko keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja berada dalam batas aman dengan nilai R < 64, sehingga tidak diperlukan tindakan lebih lanjut. Namun, risiko lingkungan dari kegiatan pengelasan memerlukan penghentian kegiatan, isolasi area, dan tindakan pencegahan lebih lanjut karena nilai R = 8. Langkah-langkah pencegahan termasuk menggunakan sarung tangan, kacamata, sepatu bot, dan tas kerja dan mendesain ulang tempat kerja.

Abstract

Risk management in the Occupational Health and Safety (K3) program provides a safe working environment essential to protecting employees. To improve the effectiveness of K3 risk management, the study proposes improvements using Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment methods. (HIRA). The study aims to identify potential hazards and evaluate the risks associated with hot work in the work environment. Using the Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) approach, risks can be identified more effectively and enable companies to take appropriate action to improve the effectiveness of risk management in occupational health and safety programs. (K3). The research methods used include document analysis, field observations, interviews, and surveys. The collected data will be analyzed using HIRA methods that include identifying hazards, assessing risks, and making recommendations for appropriate risk control. The results of this research are expected to enhance our understanding of the potential hazards and risks associated with the workplace. The resulting improvement recommendations will help the company implement appropriate precautions and improve K3 risk management.

Abstract

Proses belajar mengajar yang ada di Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta di dukung dengan adanya fasilitas didalamnya,salah satunya kursi.Rata-rata mahasiswa dalam satu hari dapat menghabiskan waktu dalam postur duduk 1,5 jam sampai dengan 2,5 jam.Pada survei menggunakan kuesioner Nordic Body Map (NBM) pada mahasiswa Teknik Industri,dapat diketahui keluhan terbanyak atau skor tertinggi ada dibagian tulang belakang yaitu dari leher atas,leher bawah, punggung, pinggang, dan pantat.Skor yang telah dihitung di bagian tulang belakang sekitar 734 sehingga didapatkan skor rata-rata 122,33.Hal tersebut dapat menyebabkan ketidaknyamanan dan cidera pada mahasiswa yang memakai kursi.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat desain ulang kursu yang ergonomis untuk mengurangi keluhan dan cedera pada mahasiswa dalam proses pembelajaran.Metode yang digunakan adalah Ergonomic Function Deployment (EFD) untuk mengetahui kriteria dan dimensi alat yang dibutuhkan dalam kepentingan pengguna.Hasil berdasarkan Ergonomic Function Deployment (EFD) menghasilkan desain kursi yang lebih ergonomis,variabel yang menjadi prioritas utama yaitu karakteristik sehat dengan spesifikasi disesuaikan dengan data antropometri dari punggung ke leher dengan persentil 50 yaitu 58,534 cm, detail sandaran yang layak menggunakan busa dan dudukan yang terbuat dari busa sehingga membuat penggunanya nyaman.Usulan ini secara rancangan biaya dalam satu buah kursi yaitu Rp 662.000.

Abstract

The Work Safety Act Number 1 of 1970 regulates the protection of workers' safety during their duties, aiming to enhance their well-being and productivity. To control health and safety hazards effectively, occupational health and safety management is crucial in reducing workplace accidents. PT Dekor Asia Jayakarya, a company in the crafts industry, continues to experience accidents ranging from low to high risks. Between February and April 2023 alone, there were two recorded incidents. Given these challenges, a study will be conducted to identify potential hazards in the production processes at PT Dekor Asia Jayakarya's Warehouse area. The objective is to understand the potential risks associated with production activities in that area and determine preventive measures to mitigate these risks. Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Safe Working Procedures (SWP) methods will be employed to meticulously analyze each task within the Warehouse production processes. This approach aims to identify potential hazards and establish safe work procedures to reduce risks in the workplace. The primary focus of this research is to ensure that every step in the Warehouse production processes is conducted with safety considerations in mind, thereby fostering a safer work environment and supporting sustainable productivity

Abstract

E-learning that uses the web has now become an important part in achieving the success of an educational institution, but many services that use the web still find it difficult to use it, even it is not attractive and does not function as the web is used. The reason a web page needs to be measured is to know the quality of the website from the users. By doing this research, we can determine the usability of the e-learning web to Yogyakarta Technological University students who are often used during learning, the method we use is to use usability testing which will determine the level of usability of the e-learning web.

Abstract

UMKM Dandellion is a business engaged in rabbit farming and sells various kinds of rabbit livestock needs ranging from feed, vitamins, medicines and rabbit cages. In running its business, UMKM Dandellion applies a pre order system for ordering cages, especially rabbit cages, in carrying out rabbit cage production activities, UMKM Dandellion finds delays in making cages due to the availability of stock materials from suppliers which can cause customer satisfaction levels. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the level of customer satisfaction with cages using the kano method, from the results of the research conducted, it is said that there are 8 question attributes in the Attractive category and 4 question attributes in the Must-be category.

Abstract

PT. Indonesia Plafon Semesta is a company engaged in manufacturing, this company produces various kinds of PVC ceilings. Problems faced by PT. Indonesia Plafon Semesta is the activity of making PVC ceilings in the packing section, where the activity conditions or workers' posture is not good. When packing by squatting and bending, the position is less ergonomic, resulting in excessive force exertion and the risk of injury. This research aims to determine the level of complaints felt by workers in body parts by identifying them using the Nordic Body Map (NBM), Manual Task Risk Assessment (ManTRA) to determine the level of risk experienced by workers and knowing how many angles are formed. Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) is used to calculate worker posture and provide a score of the worker's proposed posture using Anthropometry. Data processing was carried out using NBM calculations for workers who had the highest score of 51 and the lowest 44. Knowing the level of risk experienced by workers with Mantra protection with the back, forearms, neck and wrists > 15 and the angle formed in the REBA calculation using score 10. Improvement of the proposed posture with Anthropomerti with a TPO calculation of 32.5 cm and JTD cm of 69 by paying attention to the object being worked on with REBA calculation results having a score of 7.

Abstract

PT Primayudha Mandirijaya adalah perusahan manufaktur pemintal benang yang pada setiap kegiatan produksinya mesin sangat berperan penting. Salah satu mesin produksi pengolah material rayon menjadi sliver yaitu mesin carding. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai perawatan dan perbaikan unit mesin carding di spinning 3 PT Primayudha Mandirijaya yang menyebabkan penurunan kinerja produktivitas pada tahap selanjutnya yaitu drawing menjadi tidak optimum. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui komponen mesin carding yang memiliki nilai RPN (Risk Priority Number) paling tinggi dan melakukan evaluasi pada komponen tersebut. Pada penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah metode FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis). Kegagalan dari setiap komponen akan dilakukan perankingan dengan menghitung nilai RPN untuk menentukan komponen prioritas perbaikan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menggunakan metode FMEA diperoleh nilai rata-rata skala Risk Priority Number (RPN) yaitu 161,6, dan komponen yang menjadi pritoritas utama adalah Mounting Doffer sebesar 360, kemudian Stationary Flat dengan RPN sebesar 280, delivery roll dengan RPN sebesar 175, dan Belt Cylinder dengan RPN sebesar 168. Faktor penyebab kegagalan setiap komponen adalah lifetime tercapai, kelalaian manusia, dan perbedaan antara komponen import dan lokal.

Abstract

CV. XYZ is a company that works in the service sector and produces sports gloves (golf, equestrian, etc.). From production data, the number of requests for gloves increased greatly in June-October, the number of requests was above 5000. Workers felt tired due to age, level of pattern difficulty, type of glove material and age of machines so that many employees experienced fatigue which resulted in a decrease in work productivity. The aim of this research is to find out how high or large the mental load faced by workers at CV. Cahaya Setia Mulia using the NASA-TLX method. In this research, the population is the tailors at CV. XYZ, totaling 16 people. Based on the research results obtained, of the 16 respondents there were 9 respondents in the very high category, 2 respondents in the high category, and 4 respondents in the somewhat high category. And of the 6 NASA-TLX indicators, the highest indicator is Physical Demands (PD) of 76.0 and the lowest is the Frustration (FR) indicator of 58.7. Proposed improvements include adding 5 tailors to the workforce of 5 tailors, 2 madome tailors, 1 zigzag tailor or increasing rest time to 1 hour and reducing working hours on Saturdays to 5 hours.

Abstract

Proyek pembangunan gedung kelas baru melibatkan sembilan pekerja dengan risiko keselamatan kerja pada pengerjaan struktur, seperti pondasi, tie beam, sloof, dan kolom. Analisis Job Safety Analysis (JSA) mengidentifikasi potensi bahaya fisik, seperti tertusuk material, tergores alat kerja, tertimpa bahan, terjepit, tersandung, terpeleset, dan terjatuh, serta ancaman ergonomi akibat gerakan berulang. Masalah utama adalah rendahnya kesadaran K3, pengawasan operasional yang kurang optimal, dan minimnya penggunaan alat pelindung diri (APD). Rekomendasi pengendalian mencakup edukasi SOP dan penyediaan APD lengkap. Implementasi strategi ini bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran K3, pengawasan yang lebih efektif, dan menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang aman, serta meminimalkan potensi bahaya dan risiko kecelakaan.
