Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini merupakan sebuah analisis keterampilan berbicara bahasa Inggris siswa (Speaking Skill) pada siswa SMP Al-Ikhlas Kediri. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana kemampuan berbicara bahasa Inggris siswa SMP Al-Ikhlas Kediri. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, sedangkan subjek dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 25 orang siswa, instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes English speaking skill dengan menggunakan metode interview, discussion, dan description. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 25 orang siswa yang yang menjadi subjek penelitian ternyata hanya ada satu (1) orang siswa yang memiliki kemapuan mengusai keterampilan berbicara bahasa Inggris sangat baik dan delapan (8) orang siswa kategori baik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berbicara bahasa Inggris Siswa SMP Al- Ikhlas Kediri masih minim. Kata Kunci: Analisis, Keterampilan Berbicara, Bahasa Inggris Abstract This research is an analysis of students' speaking skills in the students of SMP Al-Ikhlas Kediri. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent to which the students' speaking English skills of SMP Al-Ikhlas Kediri. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, while the subjects in this study were 25 students, the instrument used was the English speaking skills test using the interview, discussion, and description methods. The results showed that the 25 students who were the research subjects, there was only one (1) student who had the ability to master English speaking skills very well and eight (8) students in the good category. This shows that the English speaking ability of students of SMP Al-Ikhlas Kediri is still minimal. Keywords: Analysis, Speaking Skills, English

Abstract

Pada hakikatnya proses pendidikan diadakan untuk memfasilitasi peserta didik mencapai tujuan tertentu. Diantara tujuan yang ingin dicapai adalah perkembangan pribadi dan kompetensi yang disyaratkan. Guna mencapai tujuan pendidikan tersebut diperlukan kreatifitas dan inovasi dalam pembelajaran, salah satunya yaitu pemanfaatan teknologi, di mana peran teknologi pada saat ini tidak dapat dipungkiri penggunaannya oleh guru dan siswa di dalam kelas. Pada abad 21 ini, tujuan utama pendidikan yaitu mempersiapkan siswa untuk beradaptasi dengan fleksibel terhadap masalah-masalah dan pengetahuan-pengetahuan baru, serta kemampuan siswa dalam mentransfer apa yang mereka pelajari ke situasi yang baru dapat memberikan indeks penting terhadap pembelajaran adaptif dan fleksibel serta berkolabolari Pembelajaran kolaborasi mengasumsikan fokus bersama, berbagi tanggung jawab untuk belajar, dan disiplin pendekatan untuk memperoleh tujuan yang diinginkan. Pembelajaran kolaboratif adalah salah satu pendekatan dalam pembelajaran yang lebih menitik beratkan pada tugas spesifik dan berbagai tugas dalam kerja kelompok dengan membandingkan kesimpulan dan prosedur kerja kelompok serta memberikan keleluasaan pada peserta didik dalam bekerja kelompok Abstract In essence, the educational process is held to facilitate students to achieve certain goals. Among the goals to be achieved are personal development and the required competencies. In order to achieve these educational goals, creativity and innovation in learning are needed, one of which is the use of technology, where the role of technology at this time cannot be denied by teachers and students in the classroom. In the 21st century, the main goal of education is to prepare students to adapt flexibly to new problems and knowledge, and the ability of students to transfer what they learn to new situations can provide an important index of adaptive and flexible learning and collaborative learning. Collaboration assumes a shared focus, shared responsibility for learning, and a disciplined approach to achieving desired goals. Collaborative learning is an approach in learning that focuses more on specific tasks and various tasks in group work by comparing conclusions and group work procedures and giving students flexibility in group work.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengamati kemampuan iterpretasimakna pada teks Bahasa Inggris mahasiswa Program Studi Akuntansi UniversitasKahuripan Kediri, subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester 5 programstudi akuntansi Universitas Kahuripan Kediri yang akan mengambil mata kuliahEnglish for Specific Purposes (ESP). Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalampenelitian ini yaitu kualitatif melalui wawancara, observasi kelas, dan tes, analisisyang digunakan yaitu menggunakan teori Furtus yang terdiri dari Main Idea,inference, reference, author tone, dan constitution. Hasil penelitian menunjukkanbahwa pencarian main idea dan inference menjadi bagian yang paling sulit dariseluruh bagian yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa.Kata kunci: Interpretasi Makna, Teks Bahasa Inggis, Mahasiswa Akuntansi

Abstract

As social humans, we cannot do without communication activities. The purpose of this study is to find out how presumptions and verbal cues are used in community negotiations in the Setonobetek market, Kediri City for high school textbooks. The research method used is descriptive and qualitative. data collection and observation, interviews, recording and independent listening skills, engaging in dialogue and note-taking skills, and data analysis methods Myers and Huberman. The results of this study are (1) Speech presuppositions in the Setonobetek market negotiations, Kediri City, namely. Latent presuppositions inform the existence of a person, factual presuppositions inform an event, structural presuppositions of the unmentioned recipient are understandable, and lexical presuppositions indicate sentences. It refers to certain elements after the verb and the question mark. Presets and Non-factual Presets No counterfactuals were found in the negotiations at the Setonobetek market in Kediri, and (2) verbal implications in the negotiations at the Setonobetek market in Kediri. The Setonobetek Market of Kediri City is a traditional meaning that is universal so it is easy to understand. conversational meaning Provide temporary meaning, (3) use the results of presuppositions and analysis of meaning as teaching materials. The text in the form of handouts is based on core competencies and basic competencies in the 2013 syllabus. Abstract

Setiap mahasiswa diwajibkan mengambil mata kuliah Bahasa Indonesia dalam syarat menulis skripsi. Keterampilan menulis siswa yang kurang menjadi perhatian, khususnya bagi dosen Bahasa Indonesia. Dalam upaya meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran aktif siswa yang menekankan pada keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Pendekatan ini memerlukan siswa untuk aktif berinteraksi dan berpikir kritis dalam memecahkan masalah di kelas. Tujuan artikel ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dengan menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran aktif siswa di kelas Manajemen dan Akuntansi di Univ. Kahuripan Kediri. Melalui pendekatan ini, peneliti mendapat hasil yang memuaskan di kelas A, dan hasil yang baik di kelas B. Rata-rata nilai UTS di kelas A adalah 87,14 (A), nilai rata-rata UTS di kelas B adalah 78 (B). Nilai rata-rata UAS di kelas A adalah 88,4 (A), dan nilai rata-rata UAS di kelas B adalah 79,47 (B). Nilai rata-rata tugas formatif di kelas A adalah 88 (A), dan nilai rata-rata tugas formatif di kelas B adalah 78 (B).

Abstract

Supervisi akademik menjadi aspek krusial untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme dan kinerja guru. Berbagai macam tantangan perlu untuk segera ditindaklanjuti khususnya mengenai rendahnya efektivitas dan partisipasi lembaga pendidikan dalam melaksanakan supervisi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjabarkan tentang kajian konseptual dan empiris tentang supervisi berbasis pendekatan kolaboratif, Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library research) yang merupakan studi untuk mengumpulkan informasi dan data melalui berbagai macam literatur seperti buku, catatan, jurnal dan lain-lain. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa supervisi kolaboratif berpotensi untuk menciptakan iklim belajar yang suportif, mampu memberdayakan, memfasilitasi dialog terbuka antara supervisor dan guru, dan mendorong akuntabilitas seluruh pihak yang terlibat. Supervisi kolaboratif menawarkan paradigma yang lebih efektif, berkelanjutan dan berdampak signifikan bagi praktik pengembangan profesionalisme guru dibandingkan pendekatan tradisional.

Abstract

Therefore, this study aims to analyze and describe the representation of freedom as a manifestation of the nationalist spirit of the SMAN 1 Kandangan Kediri District. The qualitative approach will be used as an approach in this study, involving students, homerooms teacher, and principals in the SMAN 1 Kandangan Kediri District as informants. Data analysis will be carried out according to the qualitative stages as determined qualitatively by three stages of analysis according to the Miles & Huberman model. The results obtained in this study are that the majority of Bengkulu Grakarsa Vocational School students have understood the concept of freedom in accordance with the laws and regulations, while others still have an incorrect understanding. The phenomena encountered by students will shape students' thoughts and attitudes, including negative phenomena in the form of abuse of freedom by government officials. Therefore, efforts are needed from the government to discipline its officials to carry out their duties with full discipline and compliance with statutory regulations. This will be used as an example and practical educational material that forms students' understanding of the concept of freedom in accordance with statutory regulations. The study examines the nationalist ideals of the millennial generation using Kartodirdja's theory, and discovers that when their nationalist spirit dwindles, attempts are made to strengthen it.

Abstract

This study aims to explore in depth the role of principals' transformational leadership in improving the quality of teacher performance in the school environment. A meta-analysis method was used with a qualitative approach to investigate the findings of a number of articles published between 2017 and 2023. The ten articles analyzed revealed various aspects that highlighted the important role of principals in this context. The results of the analysis showed that principals act as leaders who not only manage the school administration, but also become prime movers in creating an environment that supports the growth and superior performance of teachers. They act as mentors, supervisors, innovators, and motivators for the teaching staff. As mentors, they provide direction, guidance, and support to teachers to improve their quality of teaching and learning. As supervisors, they monitor and evaluate the teaching and learning processes and provide constructive feedback for teachers' professional development. In addition, principals also act as innovators who formulate policy strategies to improve the quality of teacher performance in the entire school community. They motivate all personnel to achieve school goals by appreciating achievements, paying attention to individual needs, and creating a conducive work climate. In carrying out managerial tasks, principals also ensure the smooth running of all administrative activities, so that teachers' focus can remain on the learning process. The implication is that the transformational leadership of school principals has a significant impact on improving teacher performance and quality of education in schools. Through their various roles, principals shape an environment that supports, motivates, and inspires the teaching staff to achieve superior performance.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of literature integration in English language learning with a sociocognitive approach on the multimodal literacy skills of agricultural students. The research methods used include multimodal literacy tests before and after the intervention for 8 weeks, as well as a questionnaire to collect students' perceptions. Quantitative results showed that before the intervention, there was no significant difference in multimodal literacy skills between the experimental group (mean score 65.4) and the control group (mean score 64.8). However, after the intervention, the average score of the experimental group increased significantly to 85.2, while the control group only experienced a slight increase to 68.5. Inferential statistical analysis confirmed that the difference in score improvement between the two groups was significant (p <0.05), indicating the effectiveness of literature integration in improving multimodal literacy skills. Qualitative results from in-depth interviews with students revealed key themes related to the learning experience, including increased engagement and motivation, improved multimodal literacy skills, and better social interactions in the literature-based learning context. Students from the experimental group reported that literature helped them better understand cultural and historical contexts, improved critical thinking skills, and expanded their understanding of different modes of communication. These findings support the importance of using contextual and interactive learning strategies to enhance the effectiveness of English language learning in agricultural education contexts. This study makes an important contribution to curriculum development and teaching practices in higher education, considering the important role of multimodal literacy in modern education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengevaluasi dampak program pengayaan bahasa Inggris terhadap mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Kahuripan Kediri serta efektivitas implementasinya. Melalui survei terhadap 80 mahasiswa, ditemukan bahwa sebagian besar responden melaporkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan berbahasa Inggris mereka setelah mengikuti program. Sebanyak 85% responden merasa bahwa program ini telah meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa mereka secara nyata, sementara 90% merasa lebih percaya diri dalam menggunakan bahasa Inggris di situasi akademik dan profesional. Selain itu, sebanyak 80% responden menyatakan bahwa program tersebut membantu mereka lebih siap untuk menghadapi dunia kerja, dengan peningkatan yang nyata dalam kemampuan komunikasi lisan dan tulisan. Analisis inferensial menunjukkan adanya korelasi positif yang signifikan antara partisipasi dalam program pengayaan dengan peningkatan keterampilan bahasa Inggris serta kesiapan kerja mahasiswa (p < 0.05). Wawancara mendalam dengan 20 mahasiswa dan 2 dosen memberikan wawasan tambahan mengenai pengalaman peserta selama mengikuti program. Mayoritas mahasiswa menyoroti efektivitas metode pengajaran yang interaktif dan penggunaan materi yang relevan dengan bidang studi mereka dalam memahami dan menerapkan bahasa Inggris dalam konteks profesional. Namun, beberapa mahasiswa menghadapi tantangan seperti keterbatasan waktu dan beban akademik yang tinggi, yang kadang mengurangi fokus mereka dalam mengikuti program. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa program pengayaan bahasa Inggris memiliki dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan berbahasa dan kesiapan kerja mahasiswa Ekonomi dan Bisnis.
