Abstract

This research was conducted at the Women Empowerment Foundation, focusing on employee retention, believed to have different dynamics compared to profit-oriented companies. The foundation, as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) with social goals, often faces financial uncertainty that can affect job stability. The purpose of the study is to determine how, if at all, organizational culture and employee engagement affect foundation employee retention. The research method employed was quantitative, with a survey approach using a questionnaire as the research instrument. Respondents were permanent employees of the foundation with a minimum of one year of experience. The total number of respondents involved was 86 individuals. Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that employee engagement and organizational culture positively influence employee retention at the Women Empowerment Foundation. Specifically, employee engagement significantly influences employee retention, while organizational culture, in part, also significantly influences employee retention in the foundation. The research's conclusions advance knowledge of the variables influencing worker retention in nonprofits that support women's emancipation. Keywords: Employee Engagement, Organizational Culture, Employee Retention, Woman Empowerment

Abstract

In today's competitive business environment, organizations strive to enhance the performance of their employees in order to achieve their goals and gain a competitive edge.  In this study, we aimed to investigate the impact of work motivation and the work environment on employee performance at PT XYZ. Our method of choice was quantitative, with employee performance as the dependent variable and work motivation style and work environment as independent variables. To gather data, we issued a questionnaire to 53 workers at PT XYZ and subsequently analyzed the data using IBM SPSS and the multiple linear regression analysis method. Upon processing validity and reliability tests, we conducted hypothesis testing and found that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. However, the work environment was found to not be significant on its own, but it still exhibited a positive impact on employee performance. These results provide valuable insights for organizations looking to improve employee performance, suggesting that focusing on work motivation can yield significant benefits. On the other hand, while the work environment may not be directly significant, its positive impact indicates that it should not be overlooked in efforts to enhance employee performance. In conclusion, these findings shed light on the importance of understanding and cultivating work motivation in the workplace, while also emphasizing the supportive role of a positive work environment.

Abstract

To determine how sales incentive systems impact salespeople's ethical behavior, consumer perceptions of the firm, and consumer perceptions of banking products, an investigation was conducted at bank financial institutions. The study was conducted in Indonesian cities. A total of 231 people were surveyed who were aware of the sales force reward system through purposive sampling method. The results of data processing using structural equation models show that the salesperson reward system affects the ethical behavior of salespeople. As this study finds, there is a relationship between marketing management and human resource management. This is the only independent variable related to human resource management. The two variables are the salesperson ethical behavior system and the salesperson reward system, so the strategy of creating consumer perception depends on the company's HR management elements.

Abstract

Abstract

Human resource development for Generation Alpha is based on the concepts of education and technology, due to daily habits that are closely linked to technology. However, the work abilities of Generation Alpha, characterized by their adaptability to technology and strong desire to learn, are not yet fully balanced due to a lack of soft skills such as communication, leadership, and social empathy. Respondents in this study were taken from secondary school students born after 2010. Using a verifiable quantitative research method based on literature studies, it was revealed that the variable of psychological well-being functions as a mediator between digital literacy and work readiness as well as soft skills and work readiness.  It is understood that optimal digital and social skills for use in the workplace also depend on mental balance and the ability to manage stress.
