Abstract

Mitigation knowledge is essential, especially for those who live in areas with annual disasters. Therefore, analyzing children's knowledge about mitigation is also necessary because it is the basis for preparing lessons about introducing natural disaster preparedness. This research aims to develop a questionnaire related to natural disaster preparedness based on the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains. This research is quantitative research using a quantitative descriptive approach. The sampling method used was purposive sampling. The questionnaire development method in this research consists of several stages: itemm preparation, item selection, item sorting, and item validation. The subjects of this research were 5 lecturers, 30 students at the item preparation stage, 2 lecturers and 2 practitioners at the item selection stage, 150 elementary school students at the sorting stage, and 170 elementary school students at the validation stage. The data collection method used is cross-sectional. Then, the questionnaire was created and tested for validity and reliability. The research results show that the developed natural disaster questionnaire for mitigation education meets the requirements for validity and reliability. The research implies that this research can improve disaster mitigation education in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of workforce diversity and work environment on employee performance in South Tangerang City, Banten. Employing a quantitative approach, the research involved 150 respondents selected through Convenience sampling. The results of the t-test analysis indicate that workforce diversity and the work environment significantly affect employee performance (sig < 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R2) at 0.388 indicates that workforce diversity and the work environment contribute 38.8% to employee performance. While providing valuable insights, this study has limitations such as sampling methods and geographical coverage. Future research could deepen the understanding by incorporating qualitative aspects and considering additional factors influencing employee performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan fungsi Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia pada perusahaan Unilever Indonesia. Dalam dunia bisnis, Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia menjadi elemen penting bagi perusahaan untuk mencapai keberhasilan, termasuk menghadapi tantangan yang semakin kompleks. Metode penulisan menggunakan literatur review. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Unilever Indonesia telah berhasil menerapkan fungsi Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia (MSDM) dengan sangat baik, baik dalam aspek manajerial maupun operasional. Keberhasilan ini menjadikan Unilever Indonesia sebagai contoh perusahaan internasional yang sukses dalam meningkatkan produktivitas kerja karyawan, bahkan lebih unggul dibandingkan dengan perusahaan-perusahaan lain di Indonesia.

Abstract

More than in the previous era, after the COVID-19 pandemic, companies must build effective human resource management (HRM) to improve employee performance and work culture. This condition requires an organizational form and HRM system relevant to performance needs and demands. PT Gagah Putera Satria needs to transform employees' systems, processes, and work culture to increase their performance as a company engaged in the service sector. Improving and enhancing the performance of the human resource organization is the key to the company's success in achieving the expected performance. That is why the company developed a comprehensive HRM as a major project along with the change in the form of the company, which was initially a heavy equipment rental company, shifted to heavy equipment contractors in the mining industry in Kalimantan. This assistance aims to help the company improve HRM performance. The activities include mapping the actual conditions of the problems experienced related to the company's HRM, restructuring the human resource organization, and disseminating recommendations for HRM performance improvement programs to principals and employees of the head office and project office at the site. The results of the assistance are the formation of an integrated structure of the HRM system, the operation of the human resource management process with a streamlined structure and a more effective process, and the increased managerial skills of the HRM personnel of the company.

Abstract

This research discusses entrepreneurship as an approach to strengthen the community's economy, especially in the small business sector. Through the Community Service Program with the topic “Let's Start Entrepreneurship: Building Citizens’ Economic Independence,” this research aims to improve the entrepreneurial literacy of residents of RT. 03 RW. 04 Sawah Baru Village, Ciputat. This program provides the basics of entrepreneurship, which include business planning, financial management, and access to alternative funding. The method applied in this program is through socialization, participatory training, and evaluation. Participants were involved in the process of developing business plans and financial management simulations during the training. The results of the evaluation showed an increase in participants' understanding of entrepreneurship as well as higher motivation to start a small business. Participants also managed to identify business opportunities that are in line with existing local potential. The sustainability of the program is expected to be achieved through further training and ongoing business assistance, so that it can become a relevant community empowerment model and have a positive impact on other communities in the future.

Abstract

Abstrak Kegiatan Pelatihan Manajemen Keuangan Rumah Tangga ini merupakan bagian dari program pengabdian masyarakat. Kegiatan ini dilakukan di lingkungan Ruang Publik Terpadu Ramah Anak (RPTRA) Asthabrata. Adapun tujuan kegiatan ini adalah: Memberikan pengetahuan mengelola keuangan yang baik bagi rumah tangga; Membantu mitra menyusun prioritas kebutuhan rumah tangga; Membantu mitra mengalokasikan kebutuhan rumah tangga; Membantu mitra menyusun dan menerapkan perancanaan keuangan rumah tangga. Metode pelaksanaan program terdiri dari: Sosialisasi program dan FGD; Pelatihan; Bimbingan dan Pendampingan; Evaluasi program melalui observasi dan kuesioner. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh 35 peserta yang terdiri dari ibu-ibu rumah tangga dan pengelola RPTRA Asthabrata. Berdasarkan hasil obseravasi dan data kuesioner diketahui bahwa setelah mengikuti program pelatihan pengetahuan peserta mengenai manajemen keuangan rumah tangga meningkat; peserta mampu menyusun dan menerapkan rencana keuangan rumah tangga menggunakan formulir dan amplop perencanaan keuangan rumah tangga; peserta dapat membedakan kebutuhan rumah tangga berdasarkan prioritas kebutuhan dengan keinginan konsumsi rumah tangga; terjadi perubahan pola konsumsi rumah tangga dimana peserta dapat mengalokasikan pengeluaran rumah tangga sesuai dengan konsep keuangan rumah tangga ideal; 29% peserta mampu memiliki dan tabungan; 15% peserta memiliki arus kas negatif. Secara keseluruhan dapat dikatakan bahwa program pelatihan berjalan efektif dan mampu merubah perilaku dan pola keuangan rumah tangga.Kata Kunci: ibu rumah tangga; manajemen keuangan rumah tangga; RPTRA. Household Financial Management Training in the Asthabrata RPTRAAbstractThe family financial management training is part of the community service program. This training is carried out in Asthabrata's Child-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA). The objectives of this training are to provide family financial management knowledge, to identify household needs prioritize, to suggest the ideal allocation of household needs, to implement family financial planning. The program implementation method consists of socialization and FGD; training; consultation and coaching; evaluation through observation and questionnaires. The training attended by 35 housewives and RPTRA Asthabrata staffs. Based on observations and questionnaire data, the result showed that after participating in the training program the level of family financial management knowledge increased; participants were able to compile and implement a family financial plan using forms and family financial planning envelopes; participants can distinguish household needs based on priority needs with the desire for household consumption; there is a change in household consumption pattern where participants can allocate an ideal household expenditure; 29% of participants own saving fund; 15% of participants have a negative cash flow. Overall, it can be concluded that the training program runs effectively.Keywords: family financial management; houswives; RPTRA

Abstract

This study aims to design and evaluate the effectiveness of a bilingual booklet (Indonesian and Banjarese) as a learning media for disaster mitigation in wetland areas of South Kalimantan. The research method used is Design-Based Research (DBR) with four main stages: problem identification, product development, product testing, and reflection. The study involved 50 elementary school students selected using purposive sampling. Data was collected through validation instruments by content, media, and language experts, as well as questionnaires for teacher and student responses. The results showed that the booklet achieved validation scores ranging from 80-100% and received positive responses from both students and teachers, with scores between 95.31%-100%. The booklet implementation in two phases showed an improvement in students' cognitive and affective understanding, analyzed using paired t-tests. The conclusion of this study is that the bilingual booklet is effective in enhancing students' knowledge of disaster mitigation, with practical implications for the development of disaster education media in disaster-prone areas.

Abstract

Jurnal ini membahas tentang pentingnya formulasi strategi sumber daya manusia (SDM) dalam mengembangkan organisasi. Evaluasi yang baik dapat membantu organisasi mengidentifikasi area yang perlu diperbaiki dan ditingkatkan serta hal-hal yang belum terlaksana atau tersedia. Pengembangan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas dapat meningkatkan kinerja dan daya saing organisasi. Dalam era globalisasi yang penuh tantangan dan persaingan, pengembangan organisasi menjadi sangat penting. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk memiliki strategi SDM yang kokoh yang mampu menangani perubahan lingkungan bisnis, tantangan global, dan perubahan dalam teknologi dan demografi. Jurnal ini memberikan wawasan dan panduan bagi organisasi dalam meningkatkan kinerja dan daya saing melalui pengembangan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas.

Abstract

Teachers' perceptions of the character of Waja Sampai Kaputing (Wasaka) are intentionally or unintentionally influenced by character education. It consists of behaviourism, cognitivism, constructivism, habituation, and reward and punishment. This study aims to identify teachers' perceptions regarding implementing the Wasaka character. This research was an exploratory study using two quantitative and qualitative approaches. The results of this study indicated that the tendency of schools and teachers' experience leads more to learning activities that refer to the cognitive-constructivist learning model and habituation. It is closely related to the teachers' perception, where they used these two models more in the classroom. The teacher also believed that this model is in line with the character of Wasaka, which leads to assimilation and repetition of experiences, such as persevering, working hard, and others. This research is an early initiation with many limitations. In the future, it is hoped that further research with the expansion of data collection methods or additional participants can enrich this research data to make it more representative.

Abstract

STEM Education (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) plays a crucial role in elementary schools because it provides a strong foundation for students' skill development and understanding in science and technology. STEM education can help students develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity from an early age This research aims to implement a STEM-integrated module infused with Wasaka character values to internalize the Wasaka character in students. The Wasaka character, comprising religiousness, resilience, responsibility, and independence, is vital for fostering holistic development. The study utilizes a one-group pre-test-post-test design with pre-test and post-test evaluations to measure the effectiveness of the module in enhancing character development. Data were collected through observations and questionnaires. The results indicate a significant improvement in the internalization of Wasaka character traits following the implementation of the module. The findings suggest that integrating STEM education with local cultural values can effectively contribute to character building. This study highlights the importance of culturally relevant education in shaping students' character.
