Abstract

Aceh is the second largest province infected with Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) in 2022. This has caused huge losses for farmers, thus the purpose of this community service was as a form of socialization of Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) for breeders in Blang Pala Village, Peusangan Selatan District Bireuen Regency. The method of implementing service activities was carried out by counseling related to the material of characteristics and prevention of FMD as well as assisting biosecurity activities in cattle pens. This activity was said to be successful with an increase in the knowledge and understanding of the village breeders regarding the characteristics of FMD and how to control it through biosecurity. Increased understanding of FMD was also evidenced by the increased awareness of farmers regarding the vaccination program as an effort to prevent FMD. Thus, it is necessary to have continuity from the academic community of the Animal Husbandry Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Almuslim University.

Abstract

Rendahnya mutu pendidikan merupakan suatu masalah yang harus dicarikan upaya penyelesaianya. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengeksplorasi peran modal sosial dalam membangun mutu sekolah di SD Negeri 11 Sawang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis melalui reduksi data, display data dan verifikasi/penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa modal sosial di SD Negeri 11 Sawang terdiri dari membangun kerjasama yang baik dalam kehidupan sekolah, memperkuat kelompok dan jaringan dalam bentuk MOU dengan berbagai instansi, membangun rasa solidaritas yang tinggi seperti memberikan bantuan kepada korban bencana alam, mengunjungi guru dan siswa yang sakit serta memenuhi undangan guru yang mengadakan suatu acara, adanya layanan informasi dan komunikasi yang disediakan oleh sekolah melalui papan pengumuman, melalui buku-buku dan melalui wali kelas, dan melalui pemberdayaan bagi guru-guru seperti membimbing siswa dalam persiapan olimpiade, dan mengikuti kegiatan KKG.

Abstract

character values contained in religious culture. This type of research is descriptive using a qualitative approach. The research location was Elementary School (ES) 26 Sawang, North Aceh Regency. The research subjects are school principals, teachers, and students. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Technique the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. Data analysis using data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The research results show that 1) the formation of student character through religious culture is carried out through praying before and after learning, reading Yasin every Friday, reading Asmaul Husna every Thursday, and dhikr activity every Friday; and 2) The meaning of this religious culture is the formation of religious and moral student character glorious. The religious culture developed at ES 26 Sawang has character values such as the values of faith and piety, Akhlakul qarimah, discipline, responsibility, mutual respect, and cultur smiles, greetings, greetings, politeness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of students' character building through the Ranup Lampuan dance and the Maulod Festival at Elementary School (ES) 01 Nisam and to analyze the values contained in the Ranup Lampuan dance and the Maulod Festival for the character building of students at ES 01 Nisam. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach. The research subjects are school principals, teachers, and students. Sources of data were obtained from primary data, namely data directly obtained from informants and also secondary or supporting data (documentation of student activities). Data analysis used 1) domain analysis; 2) taxonomic analysis; 3) componential analysis; and 4) cultural theme analysis. The research findings are 1) The implementation of student character formation through the Ranup Lampuan dance is part of extracurricular activities, in which the activity is guided by the teacher. while the Kenduri Maulod tradition is a celebration in commemoration of the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW which is held in the month of Rabi’ul Awal to Rabi'ul Akhir. At ES 01 Nisam, the Kenduri Maulod celebration is carried out with various activities such as Dzikee and praying together; and 2) in the Ranup Lampuan dance there are several character values such as respect values, creative values, responsibility values, and cultural values. Meanwhile, in the Kenduri Maulod tradition, there are character values, namely the value of Islamic Ukhuwah, exemplary values, religious values, and social values.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of school principals in improving the quality of education at the 16 Juli Public Elementary School, Bireuen District. This type of research is descriptive using a qualitative approach. The research informants were school principals and teachers at the Juli 16 Public Elementary School. The informant collection technique used the snowball sampling technique. The data collection tool uses field notes. Data collection techniques consist of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis using data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the role of the principal in improving the quality of education at the Juli 16 Public Elementary School consisted of; a) the role of the principal as an educator, namely providing training and guidance to teachers in improving teacher performance, b) the role of the principal as a manager, namely establishing planning, implementing, organizing, and implementing school program activities, c) the role of the principal as an administrator, namely the ability to manage school administration, finance, student affairs, school facilities and infrastructure, d) the role of the principal as supervisor, namely, the ability to compile and implement supervision programs involving deputy principals and teachers.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the implementation of life skills education in the Negeri 1 Panjang Buya high school. This type of research is descriptive research using a qualitative approach. The research informants consisted of school principals and teachers. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses data reduction, data display, data interpretation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the implementation of strengthening life skills education at the Jangka Buya 1 State High School is classified as good. The implementation of strengthening life skills-based education carried out at the Jangka Buya 1 State High School includes aspects of personal skills, academic skills, social skills and vocational skills.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the existence of sumang culture in strengthening student character. The research was conducted at State Elementary School 03 Jagong Jeget, Central Aceh Regency. The reason for choosing the research location was because the school implemented sumang culture as a school culture in strengthening student character. The informants in this research were key informants, namely the school principal, teachers and students. The technique for taking informants uses the snowball sampling technique. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that Sumang culture contains character values, namely religious, responsible, peace-loving, honest, creative, democratic, hard work, discipline. The supporting factors for implementing Sumang culture are; environmental factors, facilities and infrastructure, curriculum, and support from students' parents.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the socio-economic conditions of coffee farmers in Blang Gele village, Bebesan District, Central Aceh Regency. The type of research is qualitative research. The research informants were coffee farming communities in Blang Gele village. The technique for taking informants uses snowball sampling technique. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the socio-economic conditions of coffee farmers are relatively good when viewed from the perspective of education, income, health and housing. This research produced a specific finding, namely the mangolo culture, which is a tradition carried out from generation to generation by coffee farming communities in cultivating coffee plants. Mangolo is a social tradition that involves village communities gathering to do coffee picking or other work together and taking turns. Mangolo culture is a transaction system by exchanging services in coffee farming. Mangolo culture has meaning and value for the farming community in increasing the sense of solidarity and care between fellow coffee farmers.

Abstract

The character problem of students is a problem that must be resolved in order to give birth to a generation of people who have good morals and character. The aim of this research is to explore the art of didong in forming the character of students at the Atu Lintang 7 Elementary School. This research is qualitative research using an ethnographic approach. The informants in this research were school principals, teachers and artists. The technique for taking informants uses snowball sampling technique. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques use domain analysis, componential analysis, taxonomic analysis and cultural theme analysis. To ensure the validity of the data, triangulation is used. The results of the research show that the formation of students' character through didong arts is carried out through extracurricular activities. Some of the character values ​​contained in Didong art are religious values, discipline values, mutual cooperation values, discipline values ​​and responsibility values.

Abstract

The realization of quality education cannot be separated from the role of teachers as professional educators. The aim of this research is to explore programs at the Teacher Activity Center in cluster 1 Tajuk Renggali, Silih Nara District. This research is a qualitative research. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The informants in this research consisted of the head of the teacher activity center, and teachers involved in Cluster 1 Tajuk Renggali. To ensure the validity of the data, triangulation techniques were used. Data analysis uses data reduction, data display and drawing conclusions. The research results show that there are several programs at the Tajuk Renggali Cluster 1 Activity Center, namely; a) program for making learning tools, designing methods, teaching aids and creating learning media, b) road to school program which is held once a month, and c) best class competition.
