Abstract

Various efforts have been made by the Ministry of Health to overcome anemia in pregnant women, including routine provision of iron tablets to pregnant women. This coverage has not reached the national standard of 90%, so efforts need to be made to achieve the set target. The factors causing the failure to achieve the target of the Fe supplementation program are not yet known. One of the nutritional problems that often occurs in pregnant women is nutritional anemia, which is the largest and most difficult micronutrient problem to overcome worldwide. The purpose of PkM is to overcome the incidence of anemia in pregnant women so that it is necessary to organize and manage the provision of iron tablets. The methods used in PkM activities are health education and provision of iron (Fe) tablets in an effort to increase hemoglobin levels in pregnant women using interviews, questions and answers and questionnaires. The results of this community service activity are that all pregnant women in the Malino Health Center work area understand and want to take Fe tablets, so that it can reduce the incidence of anemia in this area. The conclusion of this activity is that there is an effect of providing Fe tablets on increasing Hb levels in pregnant women in the Malino Health Center work area with a pvalue = 0.000 with a 2 mean value of 1.6152.

Abstract

The function of play and interaction in games has an important role in children's cognitive and social development. Playing gives a relaxing effect to children. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between playing patterns and the cognitive development of preschool children. This research method is a quantitative study with a survey analysis research design with a cross-sectional study approach. The sampling technique used was a total sampling of 30 students. The instrument used was a questionnaire sheet. The results of the analysis of the relationship between play patterns and cognitive development showed that there was a relationship between play patterns and cognitive development, this was based on the results of the chi square test showing that α <0.05 with a value of α = 0.033. The conclusion of this study There is a relationship between play patterns and cognitive development in Kindergarten.

Abstract

The primary objective of this research is to examine digital technology that can be used in Arabic language learning evaluation. The research method employed is a literature review by analyzing relevant scientific articles from indexed journals. The findings reveal that several digital technology, such as Edmodo, Quizizz, Google Forms, Kahoot, Plickers, and Thatquiz, possess unique features that support the learning evaluation process. The use of digital technology has been proven to improve time efficiency, accessibility for students, and learning motivation through an interactive approach. Additionally, the integration of digital technology in evaluation enables personalized learning, resource efficiency, long-term data management, and the development of digital skills for both students and educators. The implications of this study indicate that integrating digital technology into the evaluation of Arabic language learning can enhance teaching quality and responsiveness to students' needs. The main contribution of this research is to provide educators with a guide for selecting and implementing appropriate digital evaluation technologies.

Abstract

Background: Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) in pregnant women is a major risk factor contributing to stunting in children. A local food-based supplementary feeding (PMT) program has been implemented in several stunting-prone areas as a promotive-preventive strategy to improve the nutritional status of pregnant women. Objective: To analyze the effectiveness of the local food-based PMT program in reducing the prevalence of CED among pregnant women in stunting-prone areas. Methods: This quantitative study used a quasi-experimental pre-post test design without a control group. Subjects were 60 pregnant women in their second and third trimesters in the intervention area. Data were collected through measurements of mid-upper arm circumference (MUAC), body mass index (BMI), and nutritional intake questionnaires over a 3-month period. Results: There was a significant increase in mean MUAC from 22.8 cm to 24.1 cm (p<0.05), as well as an increase in daily energy and protein intake based on a 24-hour food recall. A total of 68.3% of respondents who were initially at risk of CED experienced improvements in nutritional status after the program was implemented. Conclusion: The local food-based PMT program is effective in reducing the risk of chronic energy deficiency syndrome (CED) and improving the nutritional status of pregnant women. Recommendations include integrating PMT into routine integrated health post (Posyandu) policies and sustainable use of local food resources.

Abstract

Periode 1000 Hari Pertama Kehidupan (HPK), yang mencakup masa sejak kehamilan hingga anak berusia dua tahun, dikenal sebagai fase emas yang menentukan kesehatan, kecerdasan, dan kualitas hidup seseorang di masa depan. Kekurangan gizi pada periode ini dapat mengakibatkan dampak jangka panjang seperti stunting, hambatan perkembangan otak, hingga menurunnya produktivitas di usia dewasa. Desa Tangkil, yang berada di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sentul, merupakan salah satu daerah yang menghadapi masalah gizi anak dan prevalensi stunting yang memerlukan intervensi promotif-preventif. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil, ibu menyusui, dan keluarga mengenai pentingnya pemenuhan gizi selama 1000 HPK melalui kegiatan promosi kesehatan. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi ceramah edukatif, diskusi interaktif, dan demonstrasi pembuatan MP-ASI dengan bahan pangan lokal. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai nutrisi ibu hamil, ASI eksklusif, dan MP-ASI tepat waktu dari 40% menjadi 85%. Peserta juga menyatakan komitmen untuk menerapkan informasi yang diperoleh dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa promosi kesehatan berbasis komunitas efektif dalam membangun kesadaran pentingnya 1000 HPK, yang diharapkan dapat membantu menurunkan angka stunting dan meningkatkan status gizi anak di Desa Tangkil.

Abstract

Nutrition is very important in growth and development. Good nutritional status requires more attention because poor nutritional status in children will affect mental, physical growth or thinking abilities, of course, will reduce the level of productivity and ability in adulthood. The aim of this research is to determine the factors associated with the nutritional status of school- age children at SD Negeri 10 Benteng Sidrap Regency. Quantitative research method with a cross sectional study design. The sample consisted of 158 students at SD Negeri 10 Benteng. Data was collected using questionnaires and measurements of body weight and height. Data analysis used the Chi Square Test with a 95% confidence level. The results of this study show that there is a relationship between income with p value = 0.000, knowledge about nutrition with p value = 0.000, parents' education with p value = 0.000, parents' occupation with p value = 0.025, students' snack habits with p value = 0,000, with the student's nutritional status. The conclusion is that the factors that influence nutritional status are income, knowledge about nutritional status, parental education, parental occupation, parental characteristics and snack habits.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Transformasi tradisi Meudikee dalam konteks masyarakat Samalanga di Kabupaten Bireuen. Mengangkat masalah bagaimana tradisi Meudikee dalam konteks masyarakat Samalanga di Kabupaten Bireuen dan bagaimana transformasi tradisi Meudikee dalam konteks masyarakat Samalanga di Kabupaten Bireuen. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan tradisi Meudikee dalam kontes masyarakat Samalanga di Kabupaten Bireuen dan transformasi tradisi Meudikee dalam konteks masyarakat Samalanga di Kabupaten Bireuen. Jenis pendekatan yang digunakan ialah pendekatan kualitatif dan merujuk ke dalam jenis penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini ialah TPA Baburrisyad desa Mesjid Baro Kecamatan Samalanga Kabupaten Bireuen, objek yang diteliti adalah menegenai tradisi Meudikee dalam konteks masyarakat Samalanga Kabupaten Bireuen. Sumber data yaitu Tgk. Jamil sebagai pimpinan pesantren, Tgk. Maidi dan Ustazah Fakriah. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan ialah mereduksi data terlebih dahulu kemudian penyajian data dalam bentuk uraian singkat selanjutnya verefikasi data atau penarikan kesimpulan dan menguji keabsahan data menggunakan metode triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Meudikee dalam konteks masyarakat Samalanga sebagai tradisi yang sangat sakral berisikan doa, shalawat sanjungan kepada nabi Muhammad SAW dalam memperingati hari kelahirannya dan tradisi Meudikee dalam masyarakat Samalanga di Kabupaten Bireuen mengalami perubahan yang signifikan terutama dari bentuk meliputi anggota, gerak, syair, properti dan kostum serta fungsinya telah menjadi seni pertunjukan sebagai hiburan tanpa mengubah fungsi utamanya yaitu sebagai tradisi maulid (memperingati kelahiran nabi Muhammad SAW).Kata kunci: transformasi, tradisi, Meudikee

Abstract

Pregnancy compliance with antenatal care (ANC) is crucial for preventing pregnancy complications and ensuring the health of both mother and fetus. Knowledge of pregnancy danger signs is a key factor influencing ANC compliance. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge of pregnancy danger signs and ANC compliance. The study used a cross-sectional study design, with a sample of 100 pregnant women visiting the Integrated Health Post (Posyandu) and Community Health Center (Puskesmas) in District X, selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire regarding knowledge of pregnancy danger signs and ANC visit records. Data analysis was performed using the Chi-square test to determine the relationship between variables. The results showed that pregnant women with good knowledge had higher ANC compliance than those with poor knowledge (p = 0.001; OR = 3.5). Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between knowledge of pregnancy danger signs and ANC compliance. Antenatal education and counseling efforts are essential to improve maternal compliance.

Abstract

Background: Elementary school children's nutritional knowledge remains low, potentially leading to unhealthy eating behaviors and long-term health risks. Traditional educational methods tend to be less engaging for children, necessitating an interactive approach that can enhance understanding and motivation to learn. Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the effect of online game-based nutrition education on school children's knowledge of healthy eating. Methods: The study used a quasi-experimental pre-test and post-test design with 60 students in grades 4-6 of elementary school in District X. The research instrument was a validated nutritional knowledge questionnaire consisting of 20 multiple-choice questions regarding healthy food types, balanced nutrition, and good eating habits. The intervention was conducted for 2 weeks, with each session lasting 20–30 minutes. Data were analyzed using a paired t-test with a significance level of p < 0.05. Results: The study showed a significant increase in students' nutritional knowledge scores after participating in online game-based education, with the average score increasing from 12.5 ± 3.2 to 17.8 ± 2.5 (p < 0.001). This indicates that the intervention was effective in improving children's understanding of healthy eating. Conclusion: Online game-based nutrition education has been shown to be effective in improving schoolchildren's knowledge of healthy eating. This method is recommended as a fun and interactive nutrition learning strategy, with long-term potential to shape healthy eating behaviors from an early age.
