Abstract

The purpose of this study is to outline how the Script-Type Cooperative Learning Model is used at Asembagus 1 State Junior High School to help students in Islamic Religious Education, grade VIII A, enhance their critical thinking abilities. The significance of critical thinking abilities as a 21st-century talent that must be acquired via active, group, and purposeful learning serves as the foundation for this study.Descriptive qualitative research methodology was employed, and data was gathered by documentation, interviews, and observation. The Miles and Huberman model, which comprises data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, was used to examine the data. Triangulation of sources, methods, and time was used to assess the validity of the data.According to the findings, the Script-Type Cooperative Model was implemented in several steps, including pairing up, allocating resources, assigning speaker and listener roles, exchanging viewpoints, and coming to consensus. It has been demonstrated that using this technique enhances students' critical thinking abilities, as seen by signs like explaining, analyzing, forming conclusions, and posing and responding to questions. Additionally, education promotes social skills, the ability to voice one's thoughts, a sense of accountability, and the incorporation of Islamic principles into the educational process. The study's findings indicate that the cooperative script-type model works well for developing students' religious character and critical thinking abilities. This methodology merits further development in Islamic religious education as well as other subject areas, provided that teachers serve as facilitators and that the necessary infrastructure is in place.

Abstract

Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) di perdesaan memiliki peran strategis dalam peningkatan ekonomi keluarga, namun sering kali terkendala oleh tata kelola usaha yang masih bersifat tradisional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguatkan kapasitas manajemen usaha dan literasi keuangan pada KWT Persatuan di Desa Bonto Tengnga, Kabupaten Sinjai. Permasalahan utama yang diidentifikasi meliputi sistem pengemasan produk keripik yang masih manual tanpa identitas merek, serta ketiadaan pembukuan kas yang mengakibatkan tercampurnya dana pribadi dan modal usaha. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) melalui tahapan sosialisasi, pelatihan pengemasan dengan teknologi hand sealer, pendampingan branding, serta workshop akuntansi sederhana. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan level keberdayaan mitra yang signifikan, di mana aspek evaluasi usaha mencapai tingkat keberhasilan 94% dan pencatatan keuangan meningkat drastis hingga 91%. Transformasi dari pengemasan manual ke sistem yang lebih profesional terbukti meningkatkan nilai estetika dan daya simpan produk. Simpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah pendampingan yang intensif dan partisipatif mampu mengubah pola pikir pelaku usaha mikro dalam mengadopsi prinsip manajemen modern, yang pada gilirannya menciptakan kemandirian ekonomi berkelanjutan bagi perempuan tani di Kabupaten Sinjai.

Abstract

Bullying remains a serious challenge in educational settings and poses significant risks to students’ psychological well-being, academic engagement, and social development. This study aimed to explore the role of Guidance and Counseling (GC) teachers in preventing bullying at MTsN Kota Palopo. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed to obtain an in-depth understanding of preventive practices implemented in the madrasah context. The participants included GC teachers as primary informants, as well as homeroom teachers, the school principal, and students as supporting informants. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings revealed that GC teachers play multiple roles in bullying prevention, functioning as trusted companions, mediators, and supervisors. Preventive efforts were implemented through individual counseling services, classroom guidance, information services, and the integration of Islamic values in counseling practices. Bullying prevention strategies also included Stop Bullying socialization during student orientation activities (Matsama), daily classroom monitoring, and close collaboration with parents and homeroom teachers. Furthermore, the study identified that bullying behavior is influenced by individual factors, family background, and the school environment. The results indicate that effective bullying prevention requires an integrative strategy that combines psychological approaches, religious values, and collaborative efforts among school stakeholders. This study highlights the strategic role of GC teachers in creating a safe, supportive, and bullying-free school environment and provides practical implications for strengthening preventive counseling services in madrasah settings.

Abstract

Engine stand is an iron frame used as an engine mount. The working principle of an engine stand is to facilitate engine maintenance and repairs. Based on a case study conducted by the researcher, it was found that Politeknik Negeri Ujung Pandang Automotive Workshop did not yet have an engine stand, especially for the Suzuki ST 100 engine. This is also an obstacle when students carry out maintenance and repair practicums. The purpose of this study is to make it easier for students to carry out maintenance and repairs on the engine, so that the Suzuki ST 100 can be operated again as a learning medium for practicums. The place where the Engine Stand was made was at the Ujung Pandang State Polytechnic Automotive Workshop which was carried out from May to August 2024. The method in this study was to assemble the components on the frame, then install the engine on the engine stand that had been made, then overhaul the engine to ensure that the engine could work properly. The test results obtained were that all components could function normally again and the engine stand was safe to use because the strength of the engine stand frame to withstand an engine load of 90 kg, there was no change either bent or broken. The conclusion of this study is that the engine stand can be used as a strong engine mount and the Suzuki ST 100 engine can run normally after making several repairs and replacing its components.
