This research aims to examine the differences in Work engagement and psychological well-being based on gender among employees at the Medan Baru Eye Hospital. Work engagement is a state in which an individual feels motivated in their job and is able to accept all input and support from the work environment. Meanwhile, psychological well-being is an outcome of an individual's evaluation of their ability to recognize unique potential within themselves in facing various challenges and changes in their lives. Based on the research results, it is found that the calculation of the t-test reveals differences in Work engagement between males and females. The independent sample test shows that males have a significance value of 0.003, and females have a significance value of 0.004, both of which are 0.05. Another result indicates that, according to the independent sample test, males have a significance value of 0.549, and females have a significance value of 0.521, with both values being p 0.05. This implies that there is no significant difference in psychological well-being between males and females.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antara harga diri dan kesepian pada narapidana wanita di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Tanjung Gusta. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari 90 narapidana wanita yang terlibat dalam kasus narkoba (baik pemakai maupun pengedar), berusia antara 18-40 tahun, dan berstatus belum menikah atau bercerai (baik cerai hidup maupun cerai mati). Berdasarkan teori yang mendasari pembahasan, hipotesis penelitian ini adalah adanya hubungan antara harga diri dan kesepian pada narapidana wanita. Dengan asumsi bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat harga diri narapidana, maka semakin rendah kesepian yang dirasakan, dan sebaliknya, semakin rendah harga diri, semakin tinggi kesepian yang dirasakan. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan skala Likert, yaitu skala harga diri dan skala kesepian. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan melalui purposive sampling, sementara analisis data menggunakan teknik korelasi product moment. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan adanya hubungan signifikan antara harga diri dan kesepian. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh koefisien rxy = -0,668 dengan p= 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti hipotesis mengenai hubungan antara harga diri dan kesepian diterima.

This community service activity carried out by the young generation of Krio village, Sunggal District, North Sumatra aims to provide education on the Legal and Psychological Aspects of Online Gambling and Online Loans and the impact of online gambling and online loans on the future and mental health of the Young Generation. Providing an understanding of the importance of always being alert to the enticements and enticements of online gambling. Gambling is a criminal act that involves risking a certain amount of money where the winner will get all the money used as betting material. Gambling can harm society and damage the nation's morals. The rise of online gambling among the younger generation can be influenced by economic and environmental factors. The impact of gambling on financial management includes being wasteful, addictive, online gambling has many negative impacts. Among them are the social impact, namely lazy socializing, the material impact, namely if they lose, their money will run out, the religious impact, namely they will neglect worship because they play online gambling, as well as the achievement impact, namely their study and work achievements will decrease because they are lazy due to online gambling and online loans.

Abstract: The research aims to determine the correlation between conformity and the emergence of smoking behavior in members of Pantai Labu Police Station. The sample in the study were members who had smoking behavior and served in Pantai Labu Police Station totaling 30 personnel. The sampling technique used total sampling. The research results using product moment correlation technique (????????????) 0.170 with p=0.370 > 0.05. This means that the higher the conformity, the higher the smoking behavior. Conversely, the lower the conformity, the lower the smoking behavior. So that the hypothesis is rejected. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that the influence of conformity is high with a hypothetical mean value of 102 and an empirical mean of 160.63. Furthermore, smoking behavior can be concluded to get moderate results with a hypothetical value of 29 and an empirical value of 30.97. Conformity contributes 3% to the emergence of smoking behavior. Keyword: Conformity, Smoking Behavior, Police Station. Abstrak: Penelitian bertujuan melihat hubungan konformitas dengan munculnya perilaku merokok pada anggota Polsek Pantai Labu. Sampel dalam penelitian adalah anggota yang memiliki perilaku merokok dan bertugas di Polsek Pantai Labu berjumlah 30 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Hasil penelitian menggunakan teknik korelasi product moment (????????????) 0.170 dengan p=0.370 > 0,05. Artinya Semakin tinggi konformitas, maka semakin tinggi perilaku merokok. Sebaliknya semakin rendah konformitas, maka semakin rendah perilaku merokok. Sehingga hipotesis ditolak. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diketahui pengaruh konformitas tergolong tinggi dengan nilai mean hipotetik sebesar 102 dan mean empiriknya sebesar 160.63. Selanjutnya perilaku merokok dapat disimpulkan memperoleh hasil sedang dengan nilai hipotetik sebesar 29 dan nilai empiriknya sebesar 30.97. Konformitas berkontribusi sebesar 29% terhadap munculnya perilaku merokok. Kata kunci: Konformitas, Perilaku Merokok, Polsek

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran lifestyle mahasiswa pengguna iPhone di Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Medan Area. Penentuan lifestyle tersebut didasarkan oleh VALS 2 yang terbagi dengan delapan segmen, yakni: actualizers, fulfilleds, believers, achievers, strivers, experiencers, makers, dan strugglers, namun dalam penelitian ini yang diteliti adalah mahasiswa maka hanya empat segmen saja, yakni: believers, experiencers, strivers, dan makers. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah Mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Medan Area pengguna iPhone dengan teknik pengambilan sampel adalah Purposive Sampling dengan subjek sebanyak 70 orang. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah skala lifestyle yang disusun berdasarkan teknik AIO (activities, Interest,dan Opinion) (Kasali, 1998). Teknik yang digunakan dalam menguji normalitas dengan One-Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test. Nilai (p) sebesar 0.07 > 0.05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa sebaran data terdistribusi secara normal. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa lifestyle yang mendominasi Mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Medan Area adalah lifestyle experiencers dengan jumlah nilai mean (62,5400), nilai maksimum (66,00), dan nilai minimum (50,00). Hasil yang menarik adalah lifestyle experiencers lebih banyak terdapat pada mahasiswi kelas menengah pengguna iPhone 5s yang ibunya tidak bekerja dan berpendidikan SMA.
