Abstract

The development of digital technology, especially digital multimedia, can change the way people do business. The development of social media and the sophistication of new applications offer endless opportunities for product marketing. Product marketing strategy is needed to increase competitiveness. One of the marketing strategies is attractive advertising media. This community service aims to improve the ability of home industry entrepreneurs who are members of the Medan IPEMI (Indonesian Islamic Entrepreneurs Association) organization to promote their products through advertising media. This activity teaches women entrepreneurs how to use the Kinemaster app to create product ads with visually appealing content. The resulting media is in the form of moving advertisements in short duration video formats.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought changes to the method of implementing teaching and learning activities in schools, including at the Sunggal Amaliyah Foundation Elementary School. Teaching and learning activities that have been carried out face-to-face have turned into online learning. This of course requires the ability of teachers to create digital learning media for students. The purpose of this training is to improve the ability of teachers to create animations using Microsoft Power Point as a learning medium for students.

Abstract

Abstract: This research uses the webqual 4.0 model which corrects the three variables usability, information quality, service interaction quality and an additional variable, namely overall impression. This research aims to improve the quality of website services and e-learning website services at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra. The research sample consisted of 365 people, where the sample was taken using simple random sampling with a youth table. Data was collected through a questionnaire containing statements about user perceptions of the website. This data will be used to obtain the Webqual Index value which is used to determine the service quality value. The results of the webqual index value for each variable are usability of 0.85, information quality of 0.86, service interaction quality of 0.86 and overall impression of 0.85. The variables that most influence the service quality of the North Sumatra State Islamic University e-learning website in general for respondents are the information quality and service interaction quality variables with a webqual index of 0.86. The results of the webqual index measurement show that the quality of the e-learning website of the North Sumatra State Islamic University is very good with a webqual index value of 0.86.. Keywords: Website, Webqual, Information Quality, Usability Dan Service Interaction                  Quality, Overall Impression Abstrak: Model webqual 4.0 yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mengoreksi tiga variabel yaitu usability, information quality, service interaction quality dan variabel tambahan yaitu overall impression. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan standar layanan website e-learning UINSU. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 365 orang, dimana pengambilan sampelnya menggunakan simple random sampling dengan tabel yount. Data dikumpulkan dengan mensurvei pendapat pengguna tentang situs website. Nilai webqual index yang digunakan untuk menghitung nilai kualitas layanan yang diperoleh dari data. Hasil nilai webqual index masing-masing indikator adalah usability sebesar 0,85, information quality sebesar 0,86, service interaction quality sebesar 0,86 dan overall impression sebesar 0,85. Hasil pengukuran webqual 4.0 menunjukkan bahwa kualitas penyelenggaraan website e-learning UINSU berada pada nilai 0,86 yang berarti sangat baik dalam nilai webqual index. Kata kunci: Website, Webqual, Usability, Information Quality, Service Interaction Quality, Overall Impression

Abstract

Posyandu Melati Batang Gasan has been routinely collecting children's weight data every month, but is facing difficulties in managing and analyzing the data effectively. Data recording is only done in books without in-depth analysis, causing delays in proactive actions towards abnormal child growth. This manual recording is time-consuming, prone to errors, and hinders more in-depth analysis. In addition, information regarding the schedule of posyandu activities is often received late by parents, resulting in low community participation. The purpose of this research is to build a Posyandu Information System using the Time Series Analysis method and integrate the Whatsapp Gateway feature to manage children's weight data, perform time series analysis, and send Whatsapp notifications. Based on the existing problems, this research implements the Posyandu Information System using the Time Series Analysis method with Double Exponential Smoothing to monitor and forecast children's weight development, and integrates the Whatsapp Gateway feature to enhance communication and parental participation. The research results show good accuracy, with the forecasted weight and height of children for August being 14.6 and 104.6, respectively, with a Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 2%, and WhatsApp Gateway notifications can be sent through the system. Overall, this method is effective in predicting children's weight with good accuracy and increasing parental attendance at the posyandu.

Abstract

Decision Support Systems (DSS) have become an important tool in various fields to assist complex and critical decision making. In Padang Tualang District, North Sumatra, evaluating the performance of hamlet heads is a big challenge because it is done manually and unsystematically, which often results in inaccuracies and unfairness in the assessment. This research aims to develop and implement a web-based SPK that integrates the COCOSO and AHP methods to evaluate the performance of hamlet heads more objectively and transparently. The research stages begin with problem identification, followed by data collection through observation and interviews, as well as data analysis using the COCOSO and AHP methods. The system is then designed and implemented, followed by testing using black-box methods to ensure its reliability and functionality. The results of this system show that Jusmianto is ranked first in the performance evaluation with the highest score with a score of 281,495. System testing shows that all features function as expected, both for admin and user users. It is hoped that the implementation of this SPK can improve the quality of leadership at the hamlet level and encourage equitable development in all sub-district areas.

Abstract

The increasing crime rate in Medan City required structured handling and analysis efforts to prevent and reduce crime. This study aimed to group areas in Medan City based on crime rates using the K-Means Clustering algorithm. The data used were obtained from the Medan Police in 2021, covering various types of crimes in 14 sub-districts. The method applied was K-Means Clustering with 3 clusters to group areas based on crime rates, with the geolocation feature in the analysis system enhancing the accuracy of grouping and identifying crime patterns. The clustering process was carried out through two iterations, where the second iteration showed a more optimal ratio (0.0894) compared to the first iteration (0.0799). The analysis results showed the formation of three groups of areas, namely: the first cluster (high crime rate) included the Criminal Investigation area, the second cluster (moderate crime rate) covered 8 sub-districts, and the third cluster (low crime rate) consisted of 5 sub-districts. The results of this grouping could be used by Polrestabes Medan as a reference for allocating security resources and developing crime prevention strategies tailored to the characteristics of each region. This study proved that the K-Means algorithm was effective in analyzing and grouping regions based on crime rates.

Abstract

Abstract: Learning media are tools that can help in the learning process. The delivery of material at Pulau Rakyat Private Middle School still uses media such as blackboards, limited focus, and a lack of human frames. The results of previous research were carried out on several grade 8 students, where the results of the research were that 74.6% of students did not often get the opportunity to see human skeletons directly. And to overcome this problem, it is necessary to plan to build augmented reality technology, related to clearly showing the organs of the human body regarding the respiratory and circulatory systems. By using the appropriate development method, namely MDLC, this research can produce an Android-based augmented reality application that can display 3-dimensional virtual shapes of 16 human body organs including the nose, pharynx, larynx, trachea, bronchi, lungs, heart, blood, blood vessels, kidneys, liver, fatty liver, polycystic kidneys, anemia, leukemia via camera along with information and equipped with a quiz feature. It is hoped that the 3-dimensional display of human body organs can foster interest and ease in studying the respiratory and circulatory systems. Keywords: learning media; augmented reality; body organ; technology Abstrak: Media pembelajaran adalah alat yang dapat membantu dalam proses belajar. Penyampaian materi yang dilakukan di SMP Swasta Swadaya Pulau Rakyat masih menggunakan media seperti papan tulis, infokus yang terbatas, dan minimnya kerangka manusia yang ada. Hasil riset yang terlebih dahulu dilakukan kepada beberapa siwa kelas 8, dimana hasil riset tersebut 74,6% siswa tidak sering mendapatkan kesempatan untuk melihat kerangka manusia secara langsung. Dan untuk mengatasi masalah ini maka perlu adanya perencanaan untuk membangun sebuah teknologi augmented reality, terkait dalam memperlihatkan secara jelas organ – organ tubuh manusia mengenai sistem pernapasan dan peredaran darah. Dengan menggunakan metode pengembangan yang sesuai adalah MDLC, sehingga penelitian ini dapat menghasilkan aplikasi augmented reality berbasis android yang dapat menampilkan bentuk virtual 3 dimensi dari 16 organ tubuh  manusia diantaranya hidung, faring, laring, trakea, bronkus, paru – paru, jantung, darah, pembuluh darah, ginjal, hati, perlemakan hati, ginjal polikistik, anemia, leukemia melalui kamera beserta informasinya serta dilengkapi dengan fitur kuis. Abstract

Health facilities are important facilities used to provide health services to the community. Types of public health facilities include hospitals, health centers, clinics, pharmacies, poskesdes, and pustu. Knowing the location of the nearest health facility is very important, especially in emergency situations. One effective solution to access such information is through location-based mobile applications. This study aims to build a mobile application that can help users, especially pregnant women and postpartum mothers, in finding the nearest maternal health services in Bandar District by utilizing the Haversine Formula. This formula is used to calculate the distance between the user's location and health facilities based on geographic coordinates. This application also presents an ordered list of health facilities based on the closest distance and can be filtered based on the type of service needed. Functional testing is done using the black box method which shows that all application features run well according to the design. Interim results show that the application is able to display accurate data about the position and distance of maternal health services efficiently, and get positive feedback from early users who state that the application is very helpful in urgent conditions and for routine control needs.

Abstract

Abstract: Knowledge is very influential on the running of an agency. By utilizing knowledge, agencies can improve their performance. The Medan Tembung sub-district office is the center of administration and public services at the sub-district level. The knowledge possessed by employees is currently not well documented because there is media that can store all the knowledge possessed by employees and the process of employee interaction in sharing their respective knowledge is carried out directly. This research aims to design and develop a system that can store all the knowledge possessed by general employees so that employee knowledge increases and employee performance increases. For this reason, a web-based knowledge management system was built, equipped with features such as departments, articles, comments, discussion attachments, users and activities. With the existence of a web-based knowledge management system, Medan Tembung sub-district office employees can successfully store, manage and share the knowledge that each employee has, thereby reducing the loss of knowledge that employees have due to transfer or retirement. Keyword: Knowledge, Knowledge Management System, Employees, General Department Abstrak: Knowledge sangat berpengaruh pada berlangsungnya suatu instansi. Dengan memanfaatkan pengetahuan, instansi dapat meningkatkan kinerjanya. Kantor camat medan tembung merupakan pusat administrasi dan pelayanan publik tingkat kecamatan. Pengetahuan yang dimiliki pegawai saat ini belum terdokumentasi dengan baik dikarenakan belum adanya media yang dapat menyimpan semua knowledge yang dimiliki pegawai dan proses interaksi pegawai dalam sharing knowledge masing dilakukan secara langsung. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yaitu untuk merancang dan mengembangkan sistem yang bisa menyimpan semua pengetahuan yang dimiliki pegawai bagian umum sehingga knowledge pegawai bertambah dan kinerja pegawai menjadi meningkat. Untuk itu dibangunlah sebuah sistem knowledge management system berbasis web dengan dilengkapi fitur – fitur seperti departemen, artikel, komentar, lampiran diskusi, pengguna dan aktivitas. Dengan adanya sistem knowledge management system berbasis web, pegawai kantor camat medan tembung dapat berhasil menyimpan, mengelola dan membagikan knowledge yang dimiliki setiap pegawai sehingga mengurangi kehilangan pengetahuan (knowledge) yang dimiliki pegawai karena mutasi atau pensiun. Kata kunci: Knowledge, Knowledge Management System, Pegawai, Bagian Umum

Abstract

The rapid development of the digital era encourages the utilization of information technology to enhance the efficiency and competitiveness of MSMEs, including Bumie Belepot. Problems in the sales system, which is still manual and lacks a bundling feature, have led to unstable transactions and long queues. This study aims to develop a website-based system that applies bundling strategies to increase the number of transactions and improve customer satisfaction. The Apriori method is used to analyze customer purchasing patterns based on transaction data from January 2024 to January 2025, with a minimum support threshold of 60%. The analysis results identified five itemset 3 combinations with strong correlations between menu items, such as Bumie Belepot – Mie Ayam Bakar – Lemon Tea and Mie Ayam Bakar – Teh Manis – Lemon Tea, which are considered potential bundling options. Unlike previous studies, this research not only focuses on analyzing association patterns but also develops a website-based system equipped with bundling features, order management, and sales data reports. The system design utilizes UML modeling to describe the website's structure and workflow in detail. With this approach, the research is expected to improve operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and the competitiveness of Bumie Belepot in the culinary industry.
