Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the elderly family development program in Mulung Village, Driyorejo District, Gresik Regency.The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative through interviews, observation and documentation.The determination of the informants was carried out using a purposive sampling method which involved the midwife in charge at the Puskesmas, implementing nurses, village officials, cadres, and the community. Data analysis techniques using Miles and Huberman through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. This study shows that the communication of the elderly family development program runs in accordance with the policies that have been determined by the PP and PA KB Office in collaboration with the Driyorejo Health Center to implement the program in each village. By using Edward III's theory which focuses on the communication dimension consisting of transmission, regular socialization needs to be improved so that the public can know the existence of the program, clarity of understanding can be accepted by policy implementers and consistency is proven by setting an examination schedule so that the health of the elderly can run well

Abstract

The purpose of this study was describe the community participation in the implementation of the National Community Empowerment Program for Urban(PNPM-MP) in the Bligo village, Candi sub-district, Sidoarjo Regency as well as to describe the supporting factors and inhibiting factors. The method of this research used qualitative description. The results of this research show that community participation in this program implementation has been running well. It is caused at the participation stages that is consisting of monitoring and evaluation stage, the maintenance stage, and utilization of the building has been running well. However, at the decision-making stage and the implementation stage must be improved. The successful of this program implementation is influenced by supporting factors and inhibiting factors. The supporting factor is commitment of head village, participation of non-governmental organization, commitment and support of interest groups. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors are less of supervisor participates in the manager finance unit. So there are two of nongovernmental organizations that delay to refunds and community participation that is not involved in the whole of each activity.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to identify and analyze leadership style is adopted by Social Agency Malang Regency and to know and analyze employee’s performance Social Agency Malang Regency in carrying out their duties. This research used descriptive with qualitative approach. Data collection was done by interview, observation and documentation. Meanwhile, analysis technique used interactive model that consists of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that the leadership style is adopted by the Head of Social Agency Malang Regency were a democratic leadership style. It can be seen from some aspects of communication, work supervision, direction and decision-making methods that involve the aspirations and participation of employees. The employee performance Social Agency Malang Regency has done well. It is identified by the number of jobs has done well, the quality of the work produced, and the utilization rate of employee time that has been done well fairly in accordance with the specified target.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the results of public perception of the policy implementation on modern market zoning. This type of research used qualitative research through the explanation method. Data was collected through interviews with employees of the modern market and government officials in Sidoarjo Regency as the basis of the policy implementation; in addition it is also supported by literature study related to the zoning policy of the modern market. The results showed that the modern market employees and government officials agree associated with modern market competition that is unhealthy and affect traditional markets. In addition, it was found that the licensing process was not in accordance with the procedure. It can be concluded, based on public perception stated that three main factors that affect of policy implementation zoning the modern market, namely the lack of effective communication between the government and the owners of the modern market; abuse of licensing and lack of socialization of the modern market zoning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the concept of health service innovation through sutera emas programs in the Kepanjen Clinic, Malang Regency; process of community empowerment, benefits of community empowerment; as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in community empowerment through sutera emas program. Methods research used a qualitative approach with descriptive research. Informants in this study included sutera emas cadre, village midwife, clinic personnel, Malang District Health Department officials, and local community. The results showed the concept of sutera emas program was undertaken by community as a key informant to the medics that was linked through via sms, then be processed through sutera emas software applications. The process of community empowerment through sutera emas programs performed on the awareness and behavior stages, it is related to the establishment of clean and healthy living and capacity stages through transfer of knowledge and science to the community that has been done by socialization and training to the sutera emas cadres. Benefits of community empowerment through sutera emas programs namely community as subject and object on the empowerment that served as key informants in its program implementation. Supporting factor in this community empowerment included cooperation and coordination among the stakeholders involved, commitment from local governments, as well as the enthusiasm society. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor included low quality of human resources, lack of funds and lack of public awareness for healthy living.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the innovation of road damage complaint services through the M-bonk application at the Dinas PU Bina Marga dan Pengairan, Sidoarjo Regency. The method used in this research is qualitative research. Qualitative research was chosen in the research on public service innovation in reporting road damage through the M-Bonk application so that the data obtained is more accurate with data acquisition through in-depth interviews, observation, and document utilization. In the Relative Advan- tage attribute, it is known that the presence of the M-Bonk application is to provide a real advantage, namely in the form of the speed of the new application which cuts a lot of time and doors that must be passed each report. Because the management of information or reports that come from the same door, namely through the M-Bonk application, and sheltered by one agency, namely the Dinas PU Bina Marga dan Pengairan. So that each report not only gets a fast response but also a fast response as well

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze the implementation of e-government through the application of the Sidoarjo Regency electronic official document (E-Buddy) in the Kajeksan Village Government, Tulangan District, and Sidoarjo Regency. The background of this research is the declining disposition of official letters in the E-Buddy application at the Kajeksan Village Government from 2021 to October 2022. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The results of the study show that first, the communication indicators have not been carried out optimally, namely in terms of outreach and technical guidance regarding the implementation of the E-Ebuddy application. Second, an indicator of human resources, namely the ability of some village officials as implementers have not fully adapted to the E-Buddy application. The three indicators of disposition or attitude of several Kajeksan Village Government officials are still not consistent and responsive in processing letters, especially in the disposition of letters through the E-Buddy application so that the utilization of the application has not been utilized optimally. The four indicators of bureaucratic structure, the Kajeksan Village Government have not provided implementing instructions or a special procedural mechanism in implementing the E-Buddy application. Abstract

This scientific article presents a program designed to foster sustainable economic independence within Kemlagi Village, Indonesia, by harnessing the potential of small businesses. The program aims to motivate and engage the local community through effective communication schemes and empowerment initiatives, maximizing the village's resources and potential. By focusing on the branding of local honey products, the program enhances the value and marketability of these products while promoting the understanding of the significance of branding among the villagers. The training method involves short sessions covering branding strategies and media utilization, followed by interactive Q&A and discussions. The results highlight increased knowledge and skills in branding, paving the way for the village to transform into a sought-after Honey Tourism Village. The implications of this study shed light on how local communities can achieve economic sustainability through targeted empowerment programs and brand development. Highlights: Engaging Rural Communities: The program aims to motivate and involve local residents directly in maximizing their village's potential by harnessing the power of branding for local products. Enhancing Marketability: Through targeted training sessions, the program seeks to equip villagers with the knowledge and skills needed to elevate the value and market appeal of their local honey products. Abstract

Potensi desa saat ini menjadi salah satu jalan untuk meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakatnya. Penelolaan produk unggulan desa yang baik akan memberikan maanfaat untuk warga desa itu sendiri. Desa Kemlagi Kabupaten Mojokerto memililki produk unggulan madu lokal yang kualitasnya tidak kalah dengan produk madu dipasaran. Untuk meningkatkan produksi dan penjualan madu ini diperlukan strategi branding yang memadai. Oleh karena itu diadakan pelatihan branding produk madu Kemlagi dengan memberikan pengetahuan dan kemampuan branding pada masyarakat Desa Kemlagi sehingga produk ini memiliki identitas yang dapat diterima oleh pasar. Disamping itu, dalam kegiatan ini juga mengenalkan penggunaan media sosial Instagram untuk membantu dalam promosi produk Madu Kemlagi.

Abstract

The growth that has occurred in Sidoarjo City has caused an increase in population from an environmental perspective, this has had an impact on increasing the volume of waste in Sidoarjo City, so that the Sekardangan Subdistrict TPA definitely has a lot of waste capacity. The Sidoarjo City Government must be proactive in addressing this problem, including empowering the community through waste management in waste banks. This government applied research was carried out in Sekardangan Village, Sidoarjo District, Sidoarjo Regency with the aim of finding ways to empower the community in managing waste at village waste banks, educating, preventing inhibiting factors and efforts to overcome these inhibiting factors. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data was collected through interviews, observations and notes. Data analysis was carried out by data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. This research aims to examine and understand more deeply the empowerment of the Sekardangan Village community in waste management and the obstacles to community empowerment at the Sekardangan Village TPA, Sidoarjo Regency. The results of this government applied research show that community empowerment in waste management in waste banks is included in a development perspective. Human development, trade and the environment are quite good, but several aspects of institutional development are still lacking. Obstacles faced in empowering the community through the Waste Education Village Waste Bank Program in Sekardangan Village, Sidoarjo District, Sidoarjo Regency. Lack of public understanding of waste classification, low community capacity in waste management, lack of community skills in waste management.
