Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang : Data Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Lebong menunjukkan bahwa persentase keluarga yang memiliki pengelolaan air limbah 68,6%, sedangkan pengelolaan air limbah dengan kategori sehat sebesar 54,9%. Data Puskesmas Talang Leak SPAL yang tidak memenuhi syarat sebesar 28,89%, dan sebanyak 54,73% tidak memiliki SPAL. Tujuan Penelitian diketahuinya hubungan pengetahuan dan sikap dengan kepemilikan Saluran Pembuangan Air Limbah Rumah Tangga di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Talang Leak Kabupaten Lebong.Metode : Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Tehnik Random Sampling dengan pengambilan sampel 95 KK. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuisioner. Analisis penelitian menggunakan analisis univariat dan bivariat dengan uji chi square.Hasil :Hasil analisi univariat menunjukkan hampir seluruh dari responden (77,9%) tidak memiliki SPAL, hampir sebagian dari responden (49,5%) berpengetahuan kurang dan hampir sebagian dari responden (56,9%) sikap favourable (mendukung). Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan terdapat hubungan pengetahuan dengan kepemilikan SPAL rumah tangga (p=0,007) dan terdapat hubungan sikap dengan kepemilikan SPAL rumah tangga (p=0,001).Simpulan :Diharapkan supaya petugas sanitarian melakukan promosi kesehatan tentang SPAL dan penyakit akibat SPAL yang tidak memenuhi syarat.Kata Kunci :  Pengetahuan, Sikap, Kepemilikan Saluran Pembuangan Air  Limbah.ABSTRACT Background : Data from the Lebong Regency Health Office shows that the percentage of families who have wastewater management is 68.6%, while wastewater management with a healthy category is 54.9%. Data from puskesmas Talang Leak SPAL that did not meet the requirements was 28.89%, and as many as 54.73% did not have SPAL. The purpose of the study is to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes with the ownership of household wastewater sewerage in the Working Area of the Talang Leak Health Center, Lebong Regency. Methods : This type of research is quantitative with a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique uses Random Sampling Technique with a sampling of 95 families. The instruments in this study used questionnaires. Results :  The analysis of the study used univariate and bivariate analysis with chi square test. The results of the univariate analysis showed that almost all of the respondents (77.9%) did not have SPAL, almost part of the respondents (49.5%) were less knowledgeable and almost part of the respondents (56.9%) were favourable attitudes. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that there was a relationship of knowledge with the ownership of household SPAL (p=0.007) and there was a relationship of attitude with ownership of household SPAL (p=0.001). Conclusion :It is hoped that sanitarian officers will carry out health promotion about SPAL and diseases caused by SPAL that are not eligible.Keywords : Knowledge, Attitude, Sewerage Ownership Waste

Abstract

Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) merupakan penyakit yang disebabkan oleh gigitan nyamuk Aedes aegypti yang terinfeksi dengan salah satu tempat virus dengue. Pada tahun 2019 sebanyak 30 kasus kejadian demam berdarah dengue diwilayah kerja Puskesmas Beringin Raya Kota Bengkulu terdiri dari 17 kasus laki-laki dan 13 kasus perempuan dan tidak ada kasus kematian akibat penyakit demam berdarah dengue. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui Hubungan Pemeberantasan Sarang Nyamuk dan Pelaksanaan 3m Plus dengan Kejadian DBD di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Beringin Raya Kota Bengkulu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan desain case control. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 36 kasus dan 36 kontrol. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil analisis univariat menunjukkan responden yang melakukan PSN 3M Plus kurang sebanyak 31 orang (43,1%) dan baik sebanyak 41 orang (56,9%). Sedangkan hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan ada hubungan yang singnifikan antara PSN 3M Plus dengan kejadian DBD (p<0,05). Diharapkan kepada puskesmas agar dapat melakukan penyuluhan kesehatan tentang pentingnya melakukan PSN 3M Plus untuk menurunkan angka kejadian DBD.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang : Prevalensi diabetes pada penduduk 20-70 tahun di 10 negara dengan jumlah penderita tertinggi. Cina, India dan Amerika serikat merupakan negara menempati urutan tiga teratas jumlah penderita diabetes yaitu, sebanyak 116,4 juta, 77 juta dan 31 juta. Sedangkan Indonesia berada di peringkat 7 diantara 10 negara dengan jumlah penderita terbanyak, yaitu sebesar 10,7 juta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan dan sikap pasien dengan kejadian diabetes mellitus di Puskesmas Lingkar Timur Kota Bengkulu.Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei analitik dengan desain cross sectional. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dengan menyebarkan kuesioner pada 50 pasien yang melakukan pemeriksaan gula darah sewaktu di Puskesmas Lingkar Timur Kota Bengkulu menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Analisis data menggunakan uji Chi-Square.Hasil :  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada hubungan antara pengetahuan dan sikap pasien dengan kejadian diabetes mellitus (p<0,05)Simpulan : Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan pertimbangan bagi pihak Puskesmas dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada pasien dalam menurunkan angka kejadian diabetes mellitus.Kata kunci: Diabetes Mellitus, Pengetahuan, Sikap             ABSTRACT  Background: Prevalence of diabetes among people aged 20-70 years in 10 countries with the highest number of sufferers. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of patients with the incidence of diabetes mellitus at lingkar timur public  Health Center in Bengkulu City.Methods: This study used an analytic survey method with a cross-sectional design. The data used were primary data by distributing questionnaires to 50 patients who had their blood sugar checked while at the Lingkar Timur Health Center in Bengkulu City using an accidental sampling technique. Data analysis used the Chi-Square test.Results: The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge and attitudes of patients with the incidence of diabetes mellitus (p <0.05)Conclusion: The results of this study are expected to be a consideration for the Public health centre in providing services to patients in reducing the incidence of diabetes mellitus.

Abstract

Sarana pembuangan air limbah merupakan saluran yang digunakan untuk membuang dan mengumpulkan air buangan kamar mandi tempat cuci, dapur, sehingga air limbah tersebut dapat meresap ke dalam tanah dan tidak menjadi penyebab penyebaran penyakit serta tidak mengotori lingkungan pemukiman. Sarana pembuangan air limbah yang tidak memenuhi syarat kesehatan dipengaruhi oleh faktor pendidikan, faktor pengetahuan, faktor tingkat ekonomi atau pendapatan, partisipasi masyarakat, peranan petugas kesehatan, dan faktor perilaku dan kebiasaan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan dan pendapatan dengan kepemilikan sarana pembuangan air limbah dengan menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh dari hasil isian kuesioner. Jenis penelitian merupakan survei analitik menggunakan rancangan cross sectional. Sampel pada penelitian ini 97 orang kepala keluarga di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Retak Mudik Kabupaten Mukomuko. Pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan dan pendapatan dengan kepemilikan sarana pembuangan air limbah.

Abstract

Intoduction: Diarrhea is a disease that often causes death in toddlers, with an estimated 443,832 children under the age of 5 dying from diarrhea. The prevalence of diarrhea cases in toddlers in Indonesia increased by 26.4% in 2022. This study aims to identify the risk factors associated with diarrhea in toddlers in the Working Area of Telaga Dewa Health Center in Bengkulu City. Method: This research is quantitative with a cross-sectional design. The sample size for this study was 96 individuals, selected using simple random sampling. Data analysis was performed using the chi-square test with a significance level of 95%. Result and Discussion: he analysis results showed that a portion of the respondents had sufficient knowledge (51.0%), more than half of the respondents had unfavorable attitudes (68.8%), and more than half of the respondents did not provide exclusive breastfeeding (66.7%), while almost one-third of the respondents did not experience diarrhea (32.3%). Based on the bivariate analysis, there was a significant relationship between knowledge and exclusive breastfeeding with the incidence of diarrhea in the Working Area of Telaga Dewa Health Center, Bengkulu City. However, there was one variable that showed no significant relationship between attitude and the incidence of diarrhea at the health center.Conclusion: t is hoped that the health center can optimize preventive and promotional programs regarding factors related to the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers, and that mothers with toddlers understand the factors associated with the occurrence of diarrhea

Abstract

Intoduction: Contact dermatitis is a skin disease caused by irritants or contact with allergens. According to data from the World Health Organization (WHO), there was an increase of about 7% in 2022 from the general population, including 3-24% in children and 33-64% in the elderly. It ranks among the top 10 diseases reported to the Health Office of Bengkulu Province and City, with an increase of 1555 cases at Telaga Dewa Health Center in 2023. This study aims to identify the factors related to the incidence of dermatitis at Telaga Dewa Health Center in Bengkulu City in 2024.Method: This research is quantitative with a cross-sectional design. The sample consists of 69 individuals, selected through simple random sampling. The tests used include univariate and bivariate tests, and data analysis was conducted using the chi-square test. Result and Discussion: he analysis results show that nearly half (47.8%) of the respondents have inadequate knowledge, the majority of respondents (72.5%) are employed, a large portion of respondents (53.6%) have poor personal hygiene, and most respondents (59.4%) are suffering from contact dermatitis at Telaga Dewa Health Center in Bengkulu City. There is a relationship between knowledge and the incidence of contact dermatitis with a p-value of 0.003, employment with a p-value of 0.000, and personal hygiene with a p-value of 0.000. Conclusion: It is expected that dermatitis sufferers will maintain factors related to the incidence of contact dermatitis and undergo regular check-ups at Telaga Dewa Health Center.

Abstract

Intoduction: Acute respiratory infections (ARI) are the most common diseases causing death in toddlers, making ARI a significant cause of mortality. It is estimated that 13 million people die from ARI each year. The highest prevalence of ARI in Indonesia is found in five provinces: East Nusa Tenggara at 15.4% of the population, Banten at 11.9%, West Papua at 12.3%, Papua at 13.1%, and Bengkulu at 11.8%. This study aims to identify the risk factors associated with the occurrence of ARI in the working area of Telaga Dewa Health Center, Bengkulu City. Method: This study employs a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design.The sample consists of 65 individuals, selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis was performed using chi-square tests with a significance level of 95%.Result and Discussion: Univariate analysis results show that 27 (41.5%) individuals did not receive exclusive breastfeeding, 15 (23.1%) experienced low birth weight (LBW), and 8 (12.3%) had a basic education level. Bivariate analysis results indicate a significant relationship between exclusive breastfeeding with a p-value of 0.001, LBW with a p-value of 0.007, and no relationship between education level with a p-value of 0.172 concerning the incidence of ARI < α 0.05 in the working area of Telaga Dewa Health Center, Bengkulu City. Conclusion: In this study it can be concluded that more people who do not give exclusive breastfeeding experience LBW compared to those who do not give exclusive breast milk, and there is a significant difference between giving exclusive breast milk and there is no relationship between the level of education and the incidence of ARI in the working area of ​​the Telaga Dewa Community Health Center.

Abstract

Intoduction: Based on the data from the International Diabetes Federation (IDF), the number of diabetes sufferers worldwide in 2021 reached 537 million. This figure is predicted to continue to rise to 643 million by 2030 and 783 million by 2045. Diabetes mellitus occurs in the age group ≥ 40 years. In Bengkulu City, the highest number of diabetes cases in 2021 was 797, and in 2022 it rose to 3,087 people, with the highest cases being 420 people in the working area of Pasar Ikan Health Center Bengkulu City. This study analyzes the Risk Factors for the Incidence of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in the Working Area of Pasar Ikan Health Center Bengkulu City.Method: his research method uses a Cross-Sectional design. The sample size is 54 respondents with a random sampling technique using a questionnaire instrument and data processing using SPSS 22. Data analysis was conducted using the chi-square test with a significance level of 95%. Result and Discussion: he analysis results show that the majority of respondents have light physical activity, are generally aged ≥ 40 years, most respondents are overweight, and the majority of respondents experience Type 2 DM in the working area of Pasar Ikan Health Center Bengkulu City. Based on bivariate analysis, there is a significant relationship between physical activity and the incidence of Type 2 DM, no significant relationship between age and the incidence of Type 2 DM, and a significant relationship between overweight and the incidence of Type 2 DM in the working area of Pasar Ikan Health Center Bengkulu City Conclusion: It is expected that the health center can optimize preventive and promotive programs regarding factors related to the incidence of Type 2 DM and that Type 2 DM sufferers reduce consumption of factors related to the incidence of Type 2 DM and undergo regular check-ups at Pasar Ikan Health Center Bengkulu City

Abstract

Intoduction: ARI disease is still one of the important public health problems to be considered because it is an acute disease and can even cause death. Data obtained from the ARI Poly at the Sukamerindu Health Center, Bengkulu City, in the last 3 years has always experienced the highest ARI cases in Bnegkulu City, in 2020 there were 354 cases. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors associated with the incidence of ARI in toddlers in the Working Area of the Sukamerindu Health Center, Bengkulu city in 2021. Method: This type of research is quantitative with a cross sectional research design. The sample amounted to 100 respondents with simple random sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire sheet. Data analysis was performed univariate and bivariate (using chi square test with α=0.05) using SPSS 16 software. Result and Discussion: The results showed that more than half of the respondents had smoking habits of family members, more than half of the respondents had residential density, more than half of the respondents had LBW, more than half of the respondents experienced ARI at the Sukamerindu Health Center, Bengkulu City in 2021. Based on the bivariate analysis, it is known that there is a significant relationship between the smoking habits of family members and the incidence of ARI, there is a significant relationship between occupancy density and the incidence of ARI and there is a significant relationship between LBW and the incidence of ARI at the Sukamerindu Health Center, Bengkulu City, 2021. Conclusion: It is expected that health workers at the Sukamerindu Health Center continue to carry out health promotion measures in the form of education to increase knowledge about what risk factors can cause ARI and how to prevent it.

Abstract

Background Nutritional status according to the World Health Organization (WHO) is used as a benchmark in assessing children's development and nutritional needs. Nutritional status itself can be defined as a health condition that arises from a balance between nutritional needs and the nutritional intake received by children. Based on Riskesdas (2020), the prevalence of BMI/U nutritional status at primary school age in Bengkulu Province was recorded at 2.2% of children in the very thin category, 5.2% of children were thin, 71.3% of children had normal nutritional status, 10.9% of children were obese and, 10.4% of children are obese. The aim of the research was to determine the factors related to the nutritional status of elementary school age children at SD Negeri 2 Bengkulu City. This research method is descriptive quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. The sample in this research was 80 people, taken using non-probability sampling. Data analysis was carried out using the chi-square test with a significance level of 95%. The results of the research, statistical test results show that there is a significant relationship between snack habits and nutritional status (p=0.000), show there is a significant relationship between breakfast habits and nutritional status (p=0.021), show there is no significant relationship between physical activity and nutritional status. nutrition (p=0.0990). It is hoped that schools can provide information about good nutrition to students at SDN 2 Bengkulu City .
