Abstract

Artikel ini membahas konsep zaman edan atau zaman gila dalam budaya Jawa dan relevansinya dengan kondisi Indonesia saat ini. Serat kalatidha karya Ranggawarsita digunakan sebagai referensi utama, yang mengajarkan eling lan waspada sebagai kebijaksanaan lokal dalam menghadapi zaman edan. Penulis membandingkan nilai-nilai dalam serat kalatidha dengan ajaran Kitab Pengkotbah dan ajaran Yesus. Metode analisis teks dan telaah pustaka digunakan untuk menganalisis dan membandingkan nilai-nilai tersebut. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa eling lan waspada dalam serat kalatidha memiliki kesamaan dengan takut akan Allah dalam Kitab Pengkotbah, serta cerdik dan tulus dalam ajaran Yesus. Dengan menerapkan nilai-nilai tersebut, individu dapat menghadapi situasi yang gila dengan bijaksana, mempertahankan integritas, serta menemukan ketenangan hati di tengah-tengah zaman yang kacau. Artikel ini memberikan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang kearifan lokal budaya Jawa dan bagaimana nilai-nilai tersebut dapat diterapkan dalam konteks kehidupan saat ini. Melalui pemahaman ini, diharapkan masyarakat dapat memperoleh panduan dalam menghadapi tantangan zaman yang penuh ketidakpastian dan kesulitan.

Abstract

This study aims to demonstrate the significance of the organist's role in enhancing the faith experience of the congregation during the celebration of the Eucharist. The research was conducted at the Church of St. John the Baptist in Malang using a quantitative approach. Data collection used a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire whose validity had been tested using Aiken's V and was declared reliable based on the Alpha Cronbach formula. Data collection techniques are carried out by utilizing the Google Form. The research respondents were 307 Catholics. Data were analyzed using product-moment correlation (Pearson). The results showed that there was a relationship between organ music accompaniment and the appreciation of the parishioners at the Eucharistic celebration with Pearson's correlation coefficient (0.159) > r table (0.113), meaning that H0, was rejected and H1, was accepted. The Pearson correlation coefficient value is 0.159 when compared to the Pearson correlation criteria guideline table, indicating a fragile correlation level.

Abstract

Building a relationship with God requires a balance between reason and faith. Although often perceived as contradictory, they complement each other. Humans, with their limited reasoning, can acknowledge the presence of God through the experience of faith. This process is not merely intellectual, but also involves the light of faith that enables one to feel God's presence in daily life. Spiritual quality is key in fostering an intimate relationship with God. Prayer, meditation, and adoration serve as means to enhance spiritual quality. The research methodology of this article employs the literature review method, presenting insights from various relevant sources on building a relationship with God. In conclusion, seeking and finding God necessitates a balance between reason and faith. Spiritual quality, theological perspectives, and embracing faith in Christ aid individuals in experiencing God's presence in their lives.

Abstract

Pendidikan iman anak merupakan tanggung jawab utama orang tua yang dimulai dari keluarga, yang merupakan lingkungan pertama bagi anak. Dalam Alkitab, khususnya Perjanjian Lama, peran orang tua dalam mendidik iman anak sangat ditekankan. Sebagai contoh, dalam Kejadian 48:15-16, Yakub memberikan sharing iman kepada anak-anaknya, Efraim dan Manasye, dengan menyatakan bahwa Allah adalah "gembala" yang baik dan "malaikat" sebagai pembebas. Melalui berkat ini, Yakub tidak hanya memberikan harapan bagi masa depan keturunannya, tetapi juga mewariskan iman yang mendalam kepada Allah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran orang tua dalam pendidikan iman anak, dengan mengangkat contoh sosok Yakub dalam berbagi iman. Implementasi sharing iman dalam keluarga sangat penting untuk membangun pondasi iman yang kuat pada anak-anak. Orang tua diharapkan untuk aktif memberi contoh dan berbagi iman, baik dalam kondisi baik maupun sulit, sebagai bagian dari tanggung jawab mendidik iman anak sesuai ajaran Gereja dan ajaran Alkitab.

Abstract

Education within the Catholic Church has always had its distinct characteristics. The unique characteristics of Catholic schools are implemented at SMAK Santa Maria Malang. In addition to the school, parents also play a role in shaping the character of students. However, not all students at SMAK Santa Maria Malang exhibit good character, especially in terms of respect and responsibility. This study aims to determine the influence of Dharmaputri spirituality and parental support on the character formation of students at SMAK Santa Maria Malang. To achieve the research objectives, multiple linear regression analysis was used with the help of SPSS for Windows 26. The population in this study consisted of 403 students, with a sample size of 200 students. The sampling technique employed was random sampling. The findings revealed a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.905, indicating a positive correlation between the two variables with a very strong relationship. Furthermore, the Dharmaputri Spirituality variable obtained a t-value (0.000<0.05), and the Parental Support variable also obtained a t-value (0.000<0.05), meaning that both variables independently have a significant influence on character formation. Based on the SPSS output table, the significant F-value was obtained (0.000<0.05), indicating that there is an influence between Dharmaputri Spirituality and Parental Support on Character Formation simultaneously. Thus, Dharmaputri spirituality and parental support together have an impact on the character formation variable.

Abstract

Young people face complex challenges of the times, including secularism and individualism. Both of these beliefs can lead to young people losing fundamental religious and moral values. This research employs a literature study method by examining the document Antiquum Ministerium to explore the role of catechists in assisting young people in facing the challenges of the times.The study found that catechists play an important role in helping young people understand and integrate religious values into their daily lives. How ever, catechists also face challenges in proclaiming the Gospel to young people. Young people today have the freedom to make their own choices in life, including in matters of religion. Therefore, catechists need to be open and respect the beliefs and choices of young people. To overcome these challenges, catechists need to have adequate knowledge and skills in proclamation and pastoral care. They also need to use communication media that are relevant to the needs and interests of young people.  With these efforts, it is hoped that catechists can be agents of change in helping young people to become people of faith, morality, and responsibility.

Abstract

Siswa tunagrahita memiliki karakteristik belajar yang memerlukan dukungan khusus dalam aspek kognitif, sosial, dan kemandirian. Pembelajaran bagi siswa tunagrahita memerlukan pendekatan yang tidak hanya berfokus pada aspek akademik, tetapi juga pada pengembangan karakter dan keterampilan hidup. Strategi pembelajaran yang bersifat aktif dan adaptif menjadi penting dalam mendukung kebutuhan belajar siswa berkebutuhan khusus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kontribusi project-based learning dengan pendekatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi terhadap pengembangan karakter siswa tunagrahita. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian literatur dengan pendekatan narrative literature review. Data diperoleh melalui analisis terhadap lima belas artikel penelitian yang relevan dengan topik pembelajaran berbasis proyek, pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, dan pendidikan bagi siswa tunagrahita. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan project-based learning meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran melalui aktivitas belajar yang bersifat konkret dan kontekstual. Sementara itu, pembelajaran berdiferensiasi memungkinkan guru menyesuaikan strategi pembelajaran dengan karakteristik dan kebutuhan belajar siswa yang beragam. Integrasi kedua pendekatan tersebut berpotensi mendukung pengembangan karakter siswa tunagrahita, khususnya dalam aspek kemandirian, tanggung jawab, dan kepercayaan diri dalam proses belajar.

Abstract

Pendidikan nasional saat ini menghadapi krisis karakter yang diduga berkaitan dengan masih dominannya pola pendidikan otoriter yang berakar pada sistem kolonial. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis implementasi Sistem Among Ki Hadjar Dewantara sebagai upaya memanusiakan siswa dalam pendidikan karakter melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Prosedur penelitian mengacu pada kerangka PRISMA yang meliputi tahap identifikasi, seleksi, dan sintesis terhadap 13 artikel terakreditasi (2016–2026), dengan analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis isi (content analysis) melalui reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan secara tematik). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sistem Among merupakan antitesis pendidikan penindasan yang mengedepankan "tuntunan" sesuai kodrat alam dan kemerdekaan. Proses humanisasi dilakukan melalui sinergi Asah, Asih, dan Asuh serta mekanisme Ngerti, Ngrasa, dan Nglakoni untuk mengintegrasikan dimensi cipta, rasa, dan karsa. Reposisi guru sebagai "Pamong" melalui Trilogi Kepemimpinan terbukti menciptakan ekosistem belajar yang demokratis dan inklusif. Filosofi ini tetap relevan sebagai fondasi Kurikulum Merdeka dalam membentuk Profil Pelajar Pancasila guna menjawab tantangan era digital. Penelitian selanjutnya direkomendasikan untuk menguji implementasi empiris Sistem Among dalam konteks pembelajaran konkret guna memperkuat validitas praktis dan kontribusi aplikatifnya dalam pendidikan karakter.

Abstract

Young people today live in a digital culture that makes social media the main space for communicating, forming identities, and finding meaning in life. In such situations, catechesis needs to adjust itself to remain relevant and able to reach them effectively. The use of social media opens up opportunities for the Church to present catechesis that is more interactive, visual, and contextual through various forms such as short videos, infographics, live broadcasts, and online discussions. A qualitative approach through literary studies and indirect observation shows that social media can increase the involvement of young people in faith formation because it is flexible and easily accessible. However, the use of social media also presents pastoral challenges, such as the potential for superficiality of content and a lack of deep appreciation of faith. Therefore, critical assistance and integration between digital catechesis and real community life are needed so that the faith of young people is sustained and strengthened in the life of the Church.

Abstract

. The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) has brought significant changes in various fields, including education and church life. This study aims to examine the dynamics of the formation of prospective catechists in facing the challenges of AI use at the IPI Malang Pastoral College. This study used a qualitative, descriptive approach, through observation and interviews with students as research subjects. The results show that the use of AI has become an integral part of the learning process, helping students understand material, develop academic skills, and enhance creativity in the pastoral field. However, the use of AI also poses challenges in the form of a tendency towards instantaneous attitudes and potential dependency that can hinder critical thinking skills and deep reflection on faith. In the context of pastoral education, the formation of prospective catechists emphasizes not only intellectual aspects but also spirituality, personality, and pastoral sensitivity. Therefore, the wise and proportional use of AI is necessary, while still positioning it as a supporting tool, not a substitute for human roles. The role of lecturers and educational institutions is crucial in guiding students to be able to use technology critically, reflectively, and responsibly. Thus, the integration of technology and faith values ​​is expected to produce prospective catechists who are able to respond to the challenges of the times in a relevant and meaningful manner.
