Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of financial and non-financial compensation on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. The data collection method in this study was by distributing questionnaires to 50 employees of Bank Bukopin Syariah KC Surakarta. This study uses a saturated sample technique. The research used Analysis with reliability test, classical assumption test, t test, and path analysis test (path analysis). The results of the t test show that financial and non-financial compensation, and job satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The F test shows that financial and non-financial compensation and job satisfaction simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance with an influence of 86.2%, the remaining 13.8% is influenced by other variables outside the model. Based on the path analysis test, it shows that financial and non-financial compensation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable.

Abstract

Resiliensi akademik adalah kemampun yang dimiliki mahasiswa dalam menghadapi kejatuhan (setback), tantangan (challenge), kesulitan (adversity), dan tekanan (pressure) secara efektif dalam konteks akademik. Dalam meningkatkan kemampuan resiliensi akademik mahasiswa, bimbingan dan konseling memiliki peranan yang sangat penting. Sehingga penelitian ini berutujuan untuk mengetahui apa saja strategi layanan bimbingan dan konseling yang dapat digunakan dalam meningakatkan kemampuan resiliensi akademik mahasiswa. Pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan resiliensi siswa melalui pelatihan impact konseling melalui layanan konseling yang diberikan oleh guru bimbingan dan konseling. Pelatihan ini dilakukan dalam bentuk ceramah, FGD, role playing dan refleksi. Hasil pelatihan diperoleh data kepuasan mahasiswa dalam mengikuti pelatihan.

Abstract

The trend towards more process-oriented academic writing instructions require students to pay more attention to and develop their use of writing strategies to ensure learning success. Accordingly, the current study investigates the use of writing strategies performed by freshmen of the English language department in an Indonesian teaching university. The study is an initial effort to provide a theoretical basis for the development of more student-centered and process-oriented writing instructions for the university’s academic writing courses. To attain its purpose, the study focuses its investigation into the stage where writing strategies are most likely to be used and the types of writing strategies being employed by students. Questionnaires modified from Petrić & Czárl (2003) were distributed to 125 freshmen to obtain the data which constitute the types of writing strategies being used, their frequency of use, and the stages of writing within which they were used. Descriptive quantitative analysis was performed afterwards to the collected data. Results show that most freshman are medium users of the strategies, with While Writing as the stage within which students tend to use writing strategies, followed by Pre-writing and Revising Writing. This result implies that the development of learning instruction for academic writing needs to accommodate the development of writing strategies used in three stages of writing, particularly during the Pre-writing and Revising Writing. Further research is also required with different data collection method and instruments to allow for generalization to wider audience which is not possible with the current research, given its limited use of instrument and participants involved.

Abstract

Dengan peminatan masyarakat pada ikan air tawar yang cukup tinggi menjadikan bisnis budidaya ikan air tawar saat ini semakin massif dan bahkan bersifat lebih fleksibel hingga budidaya ikan air tawar dapat dilakukan di bagian area yang tersisa di rumah. Pengusaha ikan air tawar kerap kali kesulitan ketika berhadapan dalam pencarian sumber daya manusia tambahan untuk mendukung kegiatan operasional bisnis harian mereka. Menyematkan sebuah perangkat pintar terprogram berbasis microcontroller, dapat membantu pengelolaan bisnis secara mandiri dan meminimalkan bantuan tenaga manusia. Penulis dan tim membuat sebuah perangkat dan sistem kendali juga informasi berbasis Web yang dapat melakukan pekerjaan pemberian pakan pada area tambak dengan hanya menekan tombol yang tersaji pada sebuah laman antarmuka. Keseluruhan aktifitas yang dijalankan oleh sistem tersebut terekam pada sebuah basis data. Sistem ini dapat membantu untuk memudahkan pemberian pakan juga pengurasan dan pengisian air kolam ikan. Dengan melakukan pengontrolan melalui aplikasi berbasis Web, kegiatan dapat dioperasikan cukup oleh satu orang. Dalam hal pelaporan, pengguna dimudahkan karena terdapat fitur pencetak laporan, dimana laporan tersebut sudah berisi informasi mengenai person in charge dan data stock pakan. Diharapkan dengan dilakukannya riset dan pembuatan purwarupa sistem ini dapat memberikan inspirasi bagi para pemilik bisnis budidaya ikan air tawar agar dapat mengenal sebuah sistem pintar berbasis microcontroller yang dapat membantu kegiatan operasional bisnis mereka.

Abstract

Posyandu (Pos Pelayanan Terpadu) merupakan salah satu layanan kesehatan dasar yang vital bagi masyarakat, terutama dalam memantau kesehatan ibu dan anak. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi oleh Posyandu adalah sistem pencatatan manual yang tidak efisien, sering kali menghasilkan data yang tidak akurat, serta proses pelaporan yang lambat. Hal ini berdampak negatif pada kualitas layanan kesehatan yang diberikan dan mempersulit proses pengambilan keputusan yang cepat dan tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan layanan posyandu melalui pengembangan sistem informasi berbasis web dengan menggunakan metode Extreme Programming (XP). Metode XP dipilih karena fleksibilitas dan kemampuan adaptasinya yang tinggi terhadap perubahan kebutuhan pengguna. Proses pengembangan sistem informasi ini melibatkan tahapan iteratif yang berfokus pada kolaborasi antara tim pengembang dan pengguna akhir, serta penerapan praktik-praktik terbaik seperti perencanaan berkelanjutan, pengujian terus-menerus, dan integrasi sistem yang sering. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi yang dikembangkan mampu meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi dalam pencatatan data kesehatan, memudahkan akses informasi bagi petugas posyandu, serta mempercepat proses pelaporan dan pengambilan keputusan. Kontribusi penelitian ini terletak pada penerapan metode XP dalam konteks layanan kesehatan dasar, yang terbukti efektif dalam menyesuaikan pengembangan sistem dengan kebutuhan dinamis posyandu, sehingga dapat memberikan pelayanan yang lebih responsif, efisien, dan akurat kepada masyarakat. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam bidang pengembangan sistem informasi kesehatan, khususnya dalam konteks pelayanan kesehatan dasar di tingkat masyarakat.

Abstract

The abundance of IT consulting firms in this digital era necessitates continuous improvement for these companies. From services to products, everything must be constantly updated. Websites have become a crucial platform for reaching customers connected to the internet. Customer satisfaction is equally important in building trust with IT consulting firms. This makes companies more aware of the need for customer satisfaction. The Webqual 4.0 method can be a solution to help IT consulting firms understand satisfaction from the end user's perspective by measuring website quality in terms of usability, information quality, and service interaction. The use of the Webqual 4.0 method also requires IT consulting firms to pose a series of questions to existing customers to gauge how attractive, informative, useful, and secure a website is when accessed. This makes the method highly effective if the questions asked are accurate and align with the views of the customers or end users. From the research conducted on PT Diksta Cipta Solusi, it was found that the dominant characteristics of the website users are males aged 35-39 years, with a usage frequency of about twice a month. User evaluations of the website fall into the good category, with the majority of users feeling satisfied or very satisfied, as evidenced by the high validity and reliability of the assessments. The most significant factor influencing user satisfaction is usability, particularly in terms of the ease of operating the website. It was discovered that the three independent variables—usability, information quality, and service interaction—collectively influence user satisfaction. This study makes an important contribution by demonstrating the effectiveness of the Webqual 4.0 method in measuring website quality and providing insights for IT consulting firms to focus on improving usability, information quality, and service interaction to enhance user satisfaction.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diperuntukkan bagi warga sekitar kampus Universitas Negeri Surabaya (Unesa) Lidah Wetan yang dirasa terpengaruh secara ekonomi karena pandemi Covid-19. Hal tersebut dilaksanakan sebagai bentuk tanggung jawab sosial dan kepedulian Unesa terhadap masyarakat sekitar kampus yaitu para tenaga kependidikan (tendik) non-PNS, dosen luar biasa (DLB) petugas cleaning service kampus, dan para pemilik warung di kantin kampus. Salah satu bentuk kepedulian ini diwujudkan dalam program pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan pembagian kebutuhan bahan pokok seperti beras, gula, dan minyak goreng. Selain diberikan pada warga sekitar kampus, kebutuhan pokok ini diberikan juga pada mahasiswa Unesa yang masih di kos atau asrama. Adapun tahapan pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah identifikasi khalayak sasaran, koordinasi dengan lembaga terkait, pengadaan barang, pendistribusian barang, pelaporan hasil kegiatan, dan pemberitaan di media. Pembagian bantuan ini dilaksanakan dua tahap yaitu pada bulan Juni dan September 2020. Pemberian kebutuhan pokok ini diharapkan dapat mengurangi beban kebutuhan sehari-hari karena efek pandemi.

Abstract

This research examines small pempek industry players who are increasingly reflexive in anticipating risks during a pandemic, to be precise in the location of Seberang Ulu Satu District, Palembang City. The method used is descriptive qualitative using a case study strategy. There were seven informants in this study, consisting of key, main and supporting informants. Based on the results of this study, it can be shown that the pandemic has caused social anxiety and brought risks of economic loss to small pempek industry players. Various risk threats such as reduced buyers, decreased income, reduced workforce, increased raw material prices and marketing delays. This risk vulnerability phase requires the awareness of small pempek industry players to be more reflexive, to make changes in adaptive behavior to anticipate risk threats, namely through diversification. Diversification is an action or behavior effort to minimize risks due to a pandemic. This reflexivity is carried out based on the capabilities and experience of each industry player, so that pandemic events or situations that are out of control, which can disrupt the economy of small pempek industry players can be anticipated by reducing the amount of production, selling prices adjusted to the market, looking for materials cheaper raw materials, looking for additional income, online promotion, and even closing a business. All of these changes in behavior are a form of reflexivity for small pempek industry players to survive to be able to adapt and be individually responsible for anticipating risk threats during a pandemic so that financial prosperity is achieved in meeting the needs of daily life

Abstract

Pengelolaan keuangan sekolah yang efektif penting untuk menjaga transparansi dan akuntabilitas penggunaan dana. Banyak sekolah, khususnya tingkat SMP, masih menggunakan pencatatan manual sehingga rentan terhadap kesalahan, keterlambatan laporan, dan sulit memantau arus kas secara real-time. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang Sistem Informasi Pengelolaan Keuangan Berbasis Web guna membantu pencatatan pemasukan, pengeluaran, dan pembuatan laporan secara cepat dan akurat. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan adalah Rapid Application Development (RAD) melalui tahapan requirements planning, user design, constructuon, dan cutover. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan sistem mampu mengelola data keuangan dengan baik dan menghasilkan laporan otomatis, serta memudahkan akses informasi bagi bendahara dan kepala sekolah. Kesimpulannya, metode RAD dapat mempercepat pengembangan dan menghasilkan aplikasi yang sesuai kebutuhan pengguna.
