Abstract

 Iron deficiency anemia is a significant global public health concern that disproportionately affects young children and pregnant women. One effective method for monitoring medication in pregnant women is through mobile applications. This study aims to investigatepregnant women’s experience with iron supplementation adherence management using amobile application. A qualitative study with a phenomenology approach was conductedamong 20 pregnant women and midwives. The qualitative method was used to explore participants’ experience using a maternal application called “MySmart Bumil” to improvepregnant women’s adherence to iron supplements. The study identified four themes: the factors of non-compliance, the motivation for taking iron supplements, and the benefits andthe weaknesses of using the application. Mobile app reminders can help pregnant womencheck medication frequency, remind them to take iron tablets, and build more consistentmedication habits. However, some pregnant women found that the reminder was ineffective. Pregnant women thought that the notifications should have alarms to be more effective. The mobile application has the potential to assist health providers in effectively monitoring the health state of pregnancy and improving adherence to iron supplementation

Abstract

Monkeypox is an infectious disease characterized by skin lesions that are often difficult to distinguish from other pox-related conditions, which complicates diagnosis in resource-limited settings. This study aims to implement YOLOv7 for detecting monkeypox lesions in dermatological images and to evaluate its accuracy. The dataset consisted of 1,500 annotated images resized to 512×512 pixels, monkeypox was used as the target class, while chickenpox and cowpox were included as comparison/non-target classes to support the differentiation of lesions during model training and evaluation. The YOLOv7 model was trained for 50 epochs using default configurations and a transfer learning approach, with a data split of 70% for training, 20% for validation, and 10% for testing. Training results showed an mAP@0.5 of 89.1% and an mAP@0.5:0.95 of 59.2%. Meanwhile, on the testing stage using original (non-augmented) data, the model performance decreased, achieving an mAP@0.5 of 75.3% and an mAP@0.5:0.95 of 44.9%.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang pesat saat ini telah memberikan dampak signifikan pada berbagai aspek kehidupan manusia, termasuk dalam bidang pendidikan. SDN 2 Kebondalem, sebuah Lembaga Pendidikan Negeri di Kabupaten Banjarnegara, menghadapi keterbatasan akses internet di wilayah pedesaan tempat sekolah berada. Meskipun telah menerapkan jaringan internet, cakupannya saat ini terbatas pada bagian TU dan Ruang Guru. Keterbatasan ini menghambat guru dalam mengakses materi pembelajaran dan modul, menghambat proses pembelajaran di sekolah tersebut. Kegiatan Pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan jaringan internet di seluruh area sekolah guna mendukung proses pembelajaran di SDN 2 Kebondalem. Perbaikan ini diharapkan dapat mempermudah pertukaran data, meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan perangkat, serta meningkatkan kapasitas guru dan siswa melalui penerapan sistem pembelajaran daring.

Abstract

Jimpitan is an activity at the RT (neighborhood) level, carried out every day, by collecting money from the houses in the RT 07 RW 01 village of Sokaraja Kidul. In carrying out each jimpitan activity, there are problems encountered, starting with recording errors, people who have paid are thought not to have paid, there are residents who have been registered for jimpitan but have never been withdrawn, every month there is a financial report for jimpitan, that also makes a lot of mistakes. Therefore, we propose an Android-based jimpitan financial application to help solve the problem. After trying to apply for a week, most of the problems can be resolved. Residents and RT administrators were also given questionnaires, to find out their responses to using the Android-based jimpitan financial application, the results were good, and the residents were suitable and had no difficulties.

Abstract

The educational literature has devoted considerable focus to the pedagogical utility of rubrics in encouraging student learning and facilitating instructor feedback on student performance. However, there is little study on students' usage of self-assessment criteria in a context including a second or foreign language, and even less research has looked into the variables that affect the usefulness of the assessment criteria. The study aimed to investigate (1) how students perceive the rubric's function in evaluating their writing skills.; (2) according to the students, what factors affected the rubric's effectiveness for self-evaluation in the writing class? Forty students of the tenth grade of SMK Kesatrian Purwokerto got involved in this study. The researchers employed a self-assessment rubric and students’ reflective journals to collect the data. The findings of this study were that by helping students to set goals, make plans, keep an eye on themselves, and do reflection, rubrics were beneficial in fostering students' self-learning in writing skills. Rubric factors and users impacted the efficiency of the rubric for learner self-evaluation.

Abstract

Pada era teknologi sekarang hampir semua bisnis ritel sudah menggunakan teknologi Point of Sale (PoS), dimana semua transaksi di rekap dalam sebuah database sistem. Data yang disimpan di dalam database dapat diolah untuk meningkatkan penjualan. Dengan mengetahui asosiasi data penjualan, aplikasi dapat memberikan rekomendasi produk yang memungkinkan pelanggan untuk membeli rekomendasi produk tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pola asosiasi yang terdapat pada sebuah toko yang sudah menerapkan teknologi PoS. Apabila pola asosiasi tersebut membentuk keterhubungan produk yang relevan dan mendatangkan keuntungan lebih maka metode yang di usulkan akan di terapkan pada aplikasi toko. Algoritma Apriori dapat menemukan pola hubungan produk antar satu atau lebih item dalam suatu dataset. Hanya saja Algoritma Apriori memiliki kelemahan dalam performa. Penerapan algoritma apriori dapat memperlambat akses transaksi, sehingga perlu pengkajian lebih dalam tentang kebermanfaatan pola asosiasi ini. Pada penelitian ini pola asosiasi dianalisis apakah berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan penjualan. Dalam penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa pola asosiasi memiliki peran penting dalam peningkatan penjualan. Didapatkan rata - rata asosiasi dengan nilai confidence tertinggi terjadi pada bulan maret, yaitu 0.61 dengan nilai minimal support 0.003. Hal ini sesuai dengan hasil penjualan tertinggi, yaitu sebesar Rp. 295.509.934 pada bulan maret, tahun 2021. Berdasarkan penelitian ini maka penggunaan algoritma apriori pada aplikasi POS perlu diterapkan.

Abstract

Penyandang tunarungu menghadapi hambatan dalam berkomunikasi dan memahami materi pembelajaran akibat keterbatasan fungsi pendengaran. Salah satu solusi yang dapat mendukung kebutuhan mereka adalah pemanfaatan teknologi berupa aplikasi edukasi yang dirancang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang prototype aplikasi edukasi bagi siswa tunarungu menggunakan pendekatan Design Thinking serta mengevaluasi tingkat usability melalui metode System Usability Scale (SUS). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan tahapan Design Thinking meliputi empathize, define, ideate, prototype, dan testing. Subjek penelitian adalah 29 siswa tunarungu di SLB B Yakut Purwokerto dengan instrumen pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner SUS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prototype aplikasi “Jendela Isyaratku” yang dirancang dengan fitur pembelajaran visual, permainan edukatif, dan kamus isyarat memperoleh skor rata-rata 80,00 untuk kelas 4, 78,50 untuk kelas 5, dan 79,50 untuk kelas 6, dengan kategori acceptable hingga excellent, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa desain UI/UX aplikasi telah sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa tunarungu. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan teknologi edukasi yang inklusif serta meningkatkan aksesibilitas dan motivasi belajar bagi penyandang tunarungu.

Abstract

The increasing adoption of collaborative robots in modern manufacturing environments requires reliable perception systems that can ensure both safety and operational efficiency during human–robot collaboration. This study proposes a CNN-based real-time computer vision system for object and human detection in shared robotic workspaces. The research focuses on developing and evaluating a single-stage deep learning detection model optimized for real-time performance while maintaining high detection accuracy. The proposed methodology includes dataset preparation, model training using transfer learning, real-time system implementation, and comprehensive performance evaluation. Experimental results demonstrate that the developed system achieves high detection accuracy, as reflected by strong precision, recall, and mean Average Precision (mAP) values, while maintaining low inference latency suitable for real-time operation. The system consistently operates above real-time frame-rate thresholds, ensuring timely perception updates required for safety-related decision-making in collaborative robotic environments. Graphical and quantitative analyses further confirm the stability of inference performance under dynamic interaction scenarios involving human movement and multiple objects. Compared with existing approaches, the proposed system provides a balanced trade-off between accuracy and computational efficiency, making it practical for deployment in safety-aware human–robot collaboration scenarios. Overall, the findings indicate that CNN-based real-time object detection systems can effectively support perception and situational awareness in collaborative robotics, contributing to safer and more efficient industrial automation.

Abstract

The implementation of the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum is often hindered by repetitive manual administration. This community service aims to facilitate digital transformation through SIMPOBE application assistance for 39 lecturers at Universitas Harapan Bangsa. The method involved a hands-on workshop covering assessment alignment, RPS standardization, and PPEPP-based raw score input. Evaluation results show the application successfully bridged the gap between curriculum data and evaluation reports. Efficiency significantly improved as the system automatically links assessment components to CPL/CPMK, eliminating redundant input. Most participants (scores 4 and 5) expressed readiness for independent implementation by April 2026. In conclusion, portfolio digitalization effectively reduces human error and administrative burdens, supporting accountable institutional academic quality enhancement.

Abstract

Software development effort estimation is a crucial aspect of project management as it directly affects scheduling, resource allocation, and cost control. The Use Case Point (UCP) method is widely used for early-stage estimation; However, its traditional approach has several limitations, particularly related to subjective assessments and the tendency toward overestimation or underestimation. This study aims to explore and compare the performance of various regression models in improving the accuracy of UCP-based effort estimation. The dataset consists of 71 completed software projects, using UAW, UUCW, TCF, and ECF as predictor variables, and actual effort as the target variable. The evaluated models include Polynomial Regression, Decision Tree, Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, and Ridge Regression. Model performance was assessed using Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Mean Balanced Relative Error (MBRE), and Mean Inverted Balanced Relative Error (MIBRE) with an 80:20 train–test split. The experimental results indicate that the optimized Random Forest model achieves the best balance between training accuracy and generalization ability on unseen data (test MAE of 11.38), significantly outperforming the traditional UCP calculation method (MAE of 90.33). These findings suggest that non-linear regression approaches, particularly ensemble-based methods, can substantially enhance the reliability of software effort estimation compared to the conventional UCP method.
