Abstract

This Floods occur frequently in Indonesai also in Jayapura, one of the negative impacts being felt on the world of education, namely the damage to educational facilities and infrastructure, including damage to the tools used to carry out physics practicums at SMA Negeri 4 Jayapura. Efforts to continue to carry out practicum activities are by utilizing applications found on smartphones as practicum media including the EveryCircuit application and Logic Circuit Simulator in electrical experiments. In carrying out the activity, no significant obstacles were found because the students were accustomed to using smartphones and easily understood the use of the given application because a practicum guidebook was available. The EveryCircuit application and Logic Circuit Simulator can be used as a tool to be used as a virtual laboratory in carrying out physics practicums in schools, especially in the learning process during the post-disaster period and for schools that do not yet have a laboratory or special equipment in the electronics field. Keywords: the everycircuit application; logic circuit simulator; educational facilities and infrastructure; education

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the increase in the HOTS of students using learning modules based on a scientific approach to the material of temperature and its changes. The sample taken in this study was 34 students of grade 7 MTs. Jayapura City State. This study uses a classroom action research method that uses 3 cycles to determine the increase in HOTS. The results showed that in learning using the module, students' HOTS increased with the n-Gain value of the cycle (1) of 0.57, (2) of 0.58, and (3) of 0.64 with an average n-Gain value. of 0.60 medium categories. Based on this, it can be concluded that students have sufficient higher-order thinking skills (HOTS).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the stress value of a mixture of watermelon rind with mineral water and a mixture of watermelon rind and seawater concerning time. The benefit of this research is to provide information about the stress value of the mixture of watermelon rind with mineral water and to provide information about the stress value of the mixture of watermelon rind and seawater. The method that will be used is experimental by testing its tension using a multimeter. The results obtained in this study are: A mixture of watermelon rind with mineral water produces a voltage value in the range of 568 mV - 4280 mV, but the research data has not shown a pattern. The mixture of watermelon rind with seawater produces a voltage value in the range of 338 mV-4240 mV. At the same time of measurement, the number of cells is proportional to the voltage value. The value of the voltage is inversely proportional to the length of the measurement. Keywords: voltage, watermelon, mineral water, sea waters

Abstract

Entrepreneurship can be done by all people, including students. Cultivating an entrepreneurial spirit in students in tertiary institutions can be started by fostering a desire and interest in entrepreneurship in students. This study aims to see the interest in entrepreneurship of students who have taken Entrepreneurship courses. The research design used a cross sectional study. Respondents in this study were students in several study programs at the University of Muhammadiyah Papua and the Physics study program at Cenderawasih University. The sampling technique used was proportionate random sampling with a total of 63 people. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis. The results showed that as many as (87%) of respondents stated that they had the desire to run a business in the future. The business interests were grouped based on the distribution of the most desirable including businesses in the Culinary sector (33%), livestock sector (22%), livestock sector (22%) agriculture (16%), tourism (6%), trade (6%), property (4%), services (4%), fisheries (3%), agribusiness (3%) ), and in digital business ventures (1%). Future research is expected to be more aimed at observing behavior and studying more about other aspects related to individual characteristics that are considered to shape student entrepreneurial behavior. Studies of the factors that influence student entrepreneurship interest found in this study need to be studied more deeply, so that a more comprehensive understanding of entrepreneurship can be obtained in students, especially in the field of business they are interested in.

Abstract

Increasing of population impacted to food needs and unemployment problem. so there is a solution to resolve with entrepreneurship. The aims of this study is to look the characteristics of respondents and the factors that influence the entrepreneurial intention of student at the Postgraduate School of Bogor Agricultural University (SPs-IPB) on agribusiness. The design of this study used cross sectional study. Respondent in this study are postgraduate student from magister program. The sampling technique used proportional stratified random sampling with 122 people. The analytical method used descriptive quantitative analysis and Structural Equation Modelling / SEM. The results showed that as (94%) of respondents have entrepreneurial intentions generally, (86.96%) of the respondents have the intention of entrepreneurship in agribusiness. The study found that entrepreneurial intention are influenced by subjective norm which is the influence of a number of parties that are considered important with regard to the behavior of entrepreneurs.

Abstract

Mastery of information technology for teachers is a reflection of the professionalism of their profession. One indicator of a professional teacher can be seen from the ability to adapt to scientific developments in line with advances in Information Technology. In addition to increasing professionalism in their field, mastery of information technology can also help teachers manage class administration to support the teaching and learning process. Make lesson plans, recap student learning outcomes and make teaching materials. In addition, socialization of school activities also needs to involve information technology assistance so that work becomes more efficient. Common problems that often arise related to information technology are constrained by the ability and skills of teachers in using basic Microsoft Office applications. To overcome these problems, the community service team provided training to improve the skills of teachers at SD Inpres Perumans 2 Waena in utilizing Microsoft office applications and online learning media. The training is expected to be able to support teacher professionalism in improving the quality of education. The selection of topics and community service targets is based on factual conditions where there are limited abilities and skills of teachers in using basic applications as part of information technology. Abstract

Buah merah merupakan hasil pertanian yang berasal dari Provinsi Papua. Untuk masyarakat setempat, diyakini bahwa buah Pandanus conoideus L. dapat mengobati beberapa penyakit degeneratif seperti kanker, arteriosklerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, dan stroke. Olahan minyak buah merah saat ini telah dikembangkan menjadi produk minyak buah merah. Besarnya potensi nilai ekonomis dari minyak buah merah maka terdapat peluang terjadinya kecurangan terhadap penjualan minyak buah merah yaitu dengan mencampurkan bahan tambahan ke dalam minyak buah merah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengukur nilai konstanta dielektrik dari buah merah yang telah diberikan tambahan minyak goreng dengan menvariasikan volume dari minyak goreng kemasan yang digunakan. Pengukuran nilai konstanta dieletrik minyak buah merah dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode pelat sejajar yang diletakkan pada wadah yang berisi minyak buah merah. Pencampuran minyak buah merah dan minyak goreng dilakukan dengan cara menambahkan minyak goreng ke dalam minyak buah merah. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa pada penambahan minyak goreng pada minyak buah merah akan merubah nilai konstanta dielektrik minyak buah merah tetapi agak sulit dibedakan karena nilai awal konstanta keduanya berada pada nilai yang hampir sama.

Abstract

Permasalahan gempa bumi yang terjadi di Jayapura diakibatkan oleh aktivitas sesar yang ada di Papua. Pola pergerakan sesar ini tidak seperti biasanya karena aktivitasnya menyebabkan gempa bumi yang tercatat sampai ribuan kali sejak awal tahun ini. Beberapa penelitian pendukung masih terbatas pada daerah Papua Barat. Informasi terkait pemodelan dan struktur geologi daerah sesar juga masih sangat minim. Dari kondisi inilah sehingga peneliti melakukan pemodelan gravity dan inversi global optimasi Very Fast Simulated Annealing (VFSA). Hasil pemodelan dan inversi yang diperoleh dapat memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat dan pemerintah terkait sesar penyebab gempa bumi di Jayapura sehingga dapat menjadi dasar tanggap bencana dan mitigasi bencana yang tepat.

Abstract

This meta-analysis aimed to investigate the impact of gamification on problem-solving skills in STEM education. The study analyzed 16 studies that compared gamification-based interventions with traditional teaching methods in primary and early secondary education. The results showed moderate positive effects of gamification on problem-solving skills, with a weighted mean effect size of 0.67. Additionally, the analysis revealed significant heterogeneity between studies, suggesting that the effectiveness of gamification varied across different contexts. Moderator analyses indicated that primary school students benefited more from gamification-based interventions than secondary school students, but gender did not have a significant moderating effect. The study highlights the potential benefits of gamification in enhancing problem-solving skills in STEM education, particularly for primary school students. However, the findings also suggest that the effectiveness of gamification may depend on various factors, such as the specific context and student demographics, which warrants further investigation.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan air sebagai kebutuhan primer menjadikan air berada pada tingkat kebutuhan tertinggi. Kota Jayapura, Papua, berada di ambang ancaman krisis air bersih selama musim kemarau ini. Debit air di sejumlah mata air telah turun lebih dari 50 persen. Hasil pemantauan kualitas air di 14 titik pantau yang tersebar pada 7 (tujuh) Kabupaten/Kota menunjukan beberapa parameter lingkungan telah melampaui baku mutu yang ditetapkan dalam Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 82 Tahun 2001 tentang Pengelolaan Kualitas Air dan Pengendalian Pencemaran Air. Pengecekan fisis air menggunakan tiga jenis sensor yaitu sensor pH, sensor suhu LM35 waterproof, sensor kekeruhan dan sensor TDS serta Mikrokontroler yang digunakan adalah Arduino IDE versi 1.6.7 dengan menggunakan Bahasa pemrograman C#. Proses pengujian sifat air ini dapat diperkenalkan kepada peserta didik tingkat menengah atas sebagai salah satu proses Merdeka Belajar khususnya peserta didik tingkat SMA di Kota Jayapura dan dalam pengabdian ini dilakukan di SMAN 4 Jayapura. Sebanyak 16 orang responden memberikan tanggapan terhadap kuesioner yang diberikan. Jadi, mayoritas dari siswa belum mengenal tentang Mikrokontroler, Arduino, dan Sensor. Sehingga kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat bagi siswa untuk mengetahui lebih luas tentang pengujian sifat fisis seperti menguji kualitas air. Pemanfaatan Sensor Berbasis Mikrokontroler untuk Menguji Kualitas Air dalam Implementasi Merdeka Belajar di SMA Negeri 4 Kota Jayapura telah berhasil dilaksanakan.
