Abstract

The existence of students who are less concerned and indifferent to the learning process, as well as the fact that many still struggle to submit assignments on time, motivates this research. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of learning motivation on student character in phase F at SMA Negeri 1 Luhak Nan Duo, West Pasaman Regency. This research falls under the category of quantitative descriptive. The study's population consisted of 333 students.  333 students. The study employed a proportional random sampling technique, selecting 77 students from the totThe questionnaire employed the simple linear regression analysis technique as its instrument. sis technique. The study's results indicate that student learning motivation is significantly high. The student's character falls into the very good category. It is also known that there is a significant influence of learning motivation on student character in Phase F of SMA Negeri 1 Luhak Nan Duo. Therefore, we can conclude that the hypothesis, which posits a strong influence of learning motivation on student character, stands at 83.5%. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of the importance of learning motivation in shaping student character.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was motivated by the use of an IT-based communication barrier instrument application for interpersonal aspects of students that had not been used by all guidance and counseling teachers and was only in the validation process by 2 guidance and counseling teachers at one of the junior high schools in Kuranji District, Padang City, which was carried out by previous researchers. The purpose of this research is to determine the use of communication barrier instrument applications on interpersonal aspects of IT-based students by guidance and counseling teachers at Kuranji District Middle School, Padang City. This type of research uses research and development (RD) methods. The development procedure used in this research includes 2 steps, namely: trial use and product revision. Validation of the use of communication barriers instruments in the interpersonal aspect has four assessment aspects, namely: appearance aspect, use aspect, accuracy aspect, language aspect. The population in this study were all guidance and counseling teachers in Kuranji District, Padang City. Meanwhile, the number of samples was 8 people from each of 3 schools, namely SMPN 27 Padang, SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Padang and SMP IT Adzkia Padang. The sampling technique is cluster random sampling. The instrument used is a questionnaire containing an application assessment format. The results of this research are: Based on the results of using the application, the application of the communication barrier instrument on the interpersonal aspects of IT-based students is effective in its use based on the results of use by guidance and counseling teachers at Kuranji District Middle School, Padang City. This research is recommended for guidance and counseling teachers to be able to use the communication barriers instrument application on interpersonal aspects based on IT to see communication barriers on interpersonal aspects of students, so that guidance and counseling teachers can provide appropriate guidance and counseling services.               Keywords: Use of Instrument Applications  Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh penggunaan aplikasi instrumen hambatan komunikasi pada aspek antar pribadi peserta didik berbasis TI  belum digunakan oleh semua guru BK dan baru pada proses validasi oleh 2 orang guru BK di salah satu SMP Kecamatan Kuranji Kota Padang yang dilakukan oleh peneliti sebelumnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penggunaan aplikasi instrumen hambatan komunikasi pada aspek antar pribadi peserta didik berbasis TI oleh Guru BK di SMP Kecamatan Kuranji Kota Padang. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (RD). Prosedur pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi 2 langkah yaitu: uji coba pemakaian dan revisi produk. Validasi penggunaan instrumen hambatan komunikasi pada aspek antar pribadi memiliki empat aspek penilaian yaitu: aspek tampilan, aspek penggunaan, aspek ketepatan, aspek bahasa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua guru BK di Kecamatan Kuranji Kota Padang. Sedangkan jumlah sampel sebanyak 8 orang dari masing-masing 3 sekolah yaitu SMPN 27 Padang, SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Padang dan SMP IT Adzkia Padang. Teknik pengambilan sampel ialah cluster random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner berisi format penilaian aplikasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah : Berdasarkan hasil penggunaan aplikasi bahwa aplikasi instrumen hambatan komunikasi pada aspek antar pribadi peserta didik berbasis TI efektif penggunaannya berdasarkan hasil pemakaian oleh guru BK di SMP Kecamatan Kuranji Kota Padang. Penelitian ini di rekomendasikan kepada guru BK agar dapat menggunakan aplikasi instrumen hambatan komunikasi pada aspek antar pribadi berbasis TI untuk melihat hambatan komunikasi aspek antar pribadi pada peserta didik, sehingga guru BK dapat memberikan layanan bimbingan dan konseling yang sesuai.Kata Kunci: Penggunaan Aplikasi Instrumen

Abstract

This research was motivated by the existence of students who did not ask the teacher even though they did not understand the learning material and there were students who did not carry out remediation on their report card grades. The aim of this research is to describe: 1) The learning creativity of students in class XI Phase F SMA N 1 Bonjol, 2) The learning achievement of students in class Phase F SMA N 1 Bonjol. This research was conducted using quantitative descriptive methods with correlation analysis. The population of this study were students in class XI Phase F of SMA N 1 Bonjol for the 2023/2024 academic year, totaling 323 students. This sampling technique was carried out using a purposive sampling technique, namely 71 students who became the research sample. And the data analysis techniques used are percentage and correlation tests. The results of this research show that the relationship between creativity and student learning achievement in class XI Phase F SMA N 1 Bonjol can be drawn as follows: 1) The learning creativity of students in class XI Phase F SMA N 1 Bonjol is in the high category. 2) The learning achievement of students in class XI Phase F SMA N 1 Bonjol is in the high category. 3) There is a relationship between creativity and student learning achievement in class XI Phase F SMA N 1 Bonjol, which is -0.46 with a fairly strong relationship coefficient. Based on the results of this research, it is recommended to guidance and counseling teachers that students are able to increase students' learning creativity so that students' learning achievements are higher.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the fact that there were students who were still attending class not according to the specified hours, there were students who were not dressed in uniforms according to the specified rules. The aim of this research is to describe: 1) An overview of discipline before information services are provided. 2) Description of discipline after being provided with information services. 3) Implementation of information services in forming discipline. The type of research used is an experimental method with a one group pretest and posttest research design. The population in this study was 72 and the sample used was 40 students taken using random sampling techniques. The instruments used in this research were questionnaires and documentation studies, while pretest & posttest percentage data analysis used interval scores and normality tests and t tests. The results of this research show: 1) Student discipline before being provided with information services is in the quite good category. 2) Student discipline after being provided with information services is in the good category. 3) There is a significant difference in student discipline before and after being provided with information services. There is an increase in the form of discipline in students in class XI Phase F SMA N 4 West Sumatra (Sports Talent) by providing information services. This research is recommended for guidance and counseling teachers. With the implementation of information services that have been carried out by researchers, guidance and counseling teachers are expected to be able to understand and improve the implementation of these services, then they can also apply them to students, especially in improving forms of discipline in order to improve their learning performance.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang muncul berdasarkan data di lapangan bahwa dampak gadget bagi anak-anak mempunyai dampak yang baik dan buruk. Dampak baiknya yaitu anak-anak dapat tetap belajar di rumah dengan mencari-cari sumber referensi dari internet. Sedangkan dampak buruknya yaitu anak-anak dapat menjadi kecanduan gadget karena adanya games maupun video-video yang menarik menurut mereka di youtube atau tiktok, serta adanya kemungkinan anak-anak terpapar konten-konten negatif seperti kekerasan dan pornografi. Oleh karena itu, perhatian dan pengawasan dari orang tua merupakan hal yang wajib dilakukan. Terdapat beragam cara dilakukan dan yang harus diajarkan sejak dini kepada anak terkait penggunaan internet sehat yang meliputi: 1. Bukalah website yang bermanfaat. 2. Jangan mempercayai semua hal yang ada di internet. 3. Memahami etika dalam berinternet. 4. Berhati-hatilah dengan akun yang kita miliki. 5. Perhatikan sumber sebelum menyebarkan informasi ke orang lain. Kegiatan PKM ini diawali dengan 1) Tahap Pelaksanaan. Pada tahap pelaksanaan, kami melakukan sosialisasin tentang konsep digital, internet, media social yang bisa digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Serta konsep tentang peran para guru dan orang tua untuk dapat menjalankan trik jitu berinternet sehat bagi anak dan keluarga. 2) Tahap Monitoring dan Evaluasi. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan untuk mengetahui umpan balik atau respon dari peserta dan tanggapan tentang kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilaksanakan. Serta melakukan monitoring untuk mengetahui kesesuaian hasil yang dicapai dengan permasalahan yang dihadapai oleh peserta apakah sudah mempu memberikan solusi atau belum.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh berbagai fenomena kurangnya perilaku disiplin peserta didik di sekolah yang terindikasi dipengaruhi oleh dukungan sosial teman sebaya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: 1) mendeskripsikan dukungan sosial teman sebaya, 2) mendeskripsikan perilaku disiplin peserta didik, dan 3) menguji pengaruh dukungan sosial teman sebaya terhadap perilaku disiplin peserta didik di SMPN 9 Kota Sungai Penuh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif jenis deskriptif korelasional. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII yang mengalami permasalahan perilaku disiplin di SMPN 9 Kota Sungai Penuh berjumlah 67 dan semua populasi dijadikan sebagai sampel penelitian. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah persentase dan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) dukungan sosial teman sebaya berada pada kategori tinggi 2). perilaku disiplin peserta didik berada pada kategori tinggi. 3) dukungan sosial teman sebaya memberikan berpengaruh terhadap perilaku displin peserta didik dengan nilai pengaruh sebesar 48,5%.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems of students who show excessive distrust, feelings of threat, feeling worthless, incapable of controlling emotions, and fear of getting out of their comfort zone. This condition is closely related to the aspects of peer social support and mental health. The purpose of this study is to describe: (1) the social support profile of peers at SMP Negeri 12 Padang, (2) the mental health profile of students, and (3) the influence of peer social support on the mental health of students. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method with a correlational design. The research population was 139 students in grade VIII of SMP Negeri 12 Padang, with a sample of 59 people selected through simple random sampling techniques. The research instrument was in the form of a Likert scale questionnaire, while the data analysis used descriptive analysis, analysis prerequisite tests (normality, homogeneity, and linearity), and simple regression analysis. The results showed that (1) peer social support was in the good and good category, (2) students' mental health was in the good category, and (3) peer social support had an effect on mental health by 2.39% with the weak category. This study recommends that BK teachers strengthen counseling services that are not only peer-based, but also involve families, school environments, and students' personal aspects, including peer counseling training to be more targeted. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan peserta didik yang menunjukkan ketidakpercayaan berlebihan, perasaan terancam, merasa tidak berharga, kurang mampu mengendalikan emosi, serta ketakutan keluar dari zona nyaman. Kondisi tersebut erat kaitannya dengan aspek dukungan sosial teman sebaya dan kesehatan mental. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) profil dukungan sosial teman sebaya di SMP Negeri 12 Padang, (2) profil kesehatan mental peserta didik, serta (3) pengaruh dukungan sosial teman sebaya terhadap kesehatan mental peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan desain korelasional. Populasi penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 12 Padang sebanyak 139 orang, dengan sampel 59 orang yang dipilih melalui teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket skala Likert, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, uji prasyarat analisis (normalitas, homogenitas, dan linearitas), serta analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) dukungan sosial teman sebaya berada pada kategori baik dan cukup baik, (2) kesehatan mental peserta didik berada pada kategori cukup baik, dan (3) dukungan sosial teman sebaya berpengaruh terhadap kesehatan mental sebesar 2,39% dengan kategori lemah. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar guru BK menguatkan layanan konseling yang tidak hanya berbasis teman sebaya, tetapi juga melibatkan keluarga, lingkungan sekolah, serta aspek pribadi siswa, termasuk pelatihan peer counseling agar lebih terarah.

Abstract

The Influence Of Parental Parenting Styles On The Learning Independence Of Grade Xi Students At State High School 4 SijunjungThis research is motivated by the existence of students who experience a lack of learning independence and students do not know about learning independence. This study aims to determine: 1) Parenting patterns of parents in class XI students at SMA Negeri 4 Sijunjung. 2) Learning independence of class XI students at SMA Negeri 4 Sijunjung. 3) Describe the influence of parenting patterns on learning independence of class XI students at SMA Negeri 4 Sijunjung. This study uses a descriptive quantitative research method. with a population of 94 people, the sampling technique is total sampling. The instrument used in this study is a questionnaire. Data analysis in this study is a percentage and simple linear regression. The results of this study show: 1) Parenting patterns of class XI students at SMA Negeri 4 Sijunjung are in the high category. 2) Learning independence of class XI students at SMA Negeri 4 Sijunjung is in the high category. 3) The results of the analysis indicate that there is a significant influence (Ha) between the influence of parenting patterns on student learning independence. A significance value of 0.200 ≥ 0.05 indicates a very strong category. Therefore, it can be concluded that parenting patterns have a significant influence on students' learning independence. This study recommends that guidance and counseling teachers design service programs that focus on good learning independence for students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of behavioral counseling with systematic desensitization techniques to reduce anxiety in students. This study uses a quantitative experimental method with a One Group Pretest and Postets research design, while the sampling technique is done with total sampling technique. The instrument used is a questionnaire, while for data analysis using percentage intervals and t test analysis. The result of this study is a decrease in students' anxiety behavior after participating in behavioral counseling services with systematic desensitization techniques. It can be seen that the average level of anxiety in students before being given behavioral counseling services using systematic desensitization techniques is 191 with the average level of anxiety in students after being given behavioral counseling services using systematic desensitization techniques is 125. So it can be concluded that behavioral counseling with systematic desensitization techniques has succeeded in reducing anxiety in class X phase E11 students at SMAN 1 Gunung Talang. Based on the results of the research that researchers have done, it can be said to be successful, but further researchers can expand the sample and use other techniques in reducing anxiety.
