Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan wawancara sebagai instrumen utama. Informan kunci terdiri dari dua peserta didik (GZ dan AD), sementara informan tambahan meliputi orang tua (MD, RN) dan guru BK (EP). Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik dari keluarga broken home mengalami berbagai tantangan dalam ketekunan belajar. Mereka cenderung kesulitan fokus dalam mengerjakan tugas, memiliki ketahanan yang berbeda dalam menghadapi kesulitan, serta menunjukkan variasi dalam minat terhadap pemecahan masalah. Sebagian lebih nyaman bekerja mandiri, sementara yang lain memerlukan dukungan. Tugas rutin sering menurunkan semangat mereka, dan dalam mempertahankan pendapat, ada yang bersikeras sementara yang lain cenderung mengalah. Dalam menghadapi keyakinan pribadi dan kritik, beberapa tetap termotivasi, sedangkan yang lain mengalami kekecewaan tetapi tetap berusaha. Mereka juga memiliki perbedaan dalam mencari solusi, baik secara mandiri maupun dengan bantuan orang lain. Rekomendasi penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya peningkatan ketekunan, disiplin, serta strategi belajar yang tepat untuk membantu peserta didik tetap fokus dan menghindari kebiasaan menunda tugas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi adanya peserta didik yang berkeliaran di dalam kelas sehingga mengganggu temannya saat belajar dan adanya peserta didik yang tidak mematuhi peraturan yang berlaku di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: 1) Self management peserta didik, 2) Kedisiplinan belajar peserta didik, 3) Pengaruh self management terhadap kedisiplinan belajar peserta didik kelas XI dan XII di SMA Negeri 12 Sijunjung. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan regresi linier sederhana. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 267 peserta didik. Dan sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 67 peserta didik dengan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket, sedangkan untuk analisis data menggunakan uji prasyarat data, uji statistik deskriptif dan analisis regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1)             Self management peserta didik kelas XI dan XII di SMA Negeri 12 Sijunjung berada pada kategori cukup baik, 2) Kedisiplinan belajar peserta didik kelas XI dan XII di SMA Negeri 12 Sijunjung berada pada kategori cukup disiplin, 3) Adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara self management terhadap kedisiplinan belajar peserta didik kelas XI dan XII di SMA Negeri 12 Sijunjung dengan kata lain hipotetis diterima bahwa terdapat pengaruh self management terhadap kedisiplinan belajar peserta didik pada kategori lemah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini disarankan kepada peserta didik agar dapat dijadikan sebagai informasi dan bahan untuk memperbaiki diri terutama dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan peserta didik dalam belajar.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of obstacles to students' learning motivation at school. The purpose of the research is to identify: 1) Internal factors, 2) External factors that influence students' learning motivation, 3) Behavioral counseling service plans with self-management techniques to overcome obstacles to learning motivation. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Key informants in this study were ZNC, additional informants were, (EW) homeroom teacher, (HR) BK teacher and (NAP) peers. The instrument used an interview format. For data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show: 1) Internal factors that influence students' learning motivation are physical conditions such as frequent daydreaming and lack of focus that interfere with learning concentration, interest in learning only arises when the teacher uses interesting media, positive perceptions of the importance of learning are not applied when learning, lack of acceptance from peers reduces self-confidence and motivation. 2) External factors that influence learning motivation are the lack of support from parents who are busy working, indifference from friends, and less than optimal attention from teachers, 3) Behavioral counseling service plans with self-management techniques are compiled from problem identification to help students regulate behavior independently and form adaptive responses in facing less supportive conditions. The results of this study are recommended to guidance and counseling teachers to be able to provide counseling services, especially self-management techniques with the following technical strategies: 1) self-monitoring, 2) stimulus control, 3) self-reward.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of several students who experience obstacles in their interest in participating in individual counseling. In addition, students do not understand the impact caused if obstacles to interest in participating in individual counseling are allowed, so that the learning process in the classroom does not run effectively and students become less focused because they harbor the problems they have. The purpose of this study is to find out the factors that affect students' interest in participating in individual counseling services, both from internal and external factors. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. The research population was 323 students in class VIII, with purposive sampling techniques of 50 people, namely students who had participated in individual counseling. The instrument used was in the form of a questionnaire, and data analysis was carried out using percentages. The results showed that 1) internal factors that affect students' interest are in the category of quite high, and 2) external factors that affect students' interest in utilizing individual counseling are in the category of quite high (78%). This study recommends that BK teachers can increase students' interest in utilizing individual counseling services.

Abstract

This research is motivated by students who lack independence in following the learning process, limited interaction during face-to-face learning, and some students who have difficulty accepting their own physical condition. The objectives of this study are to describe 1) The achievement of student development tasks at State Senior High School 1 Kinali, and 2) The planning of guidance and counseling programs to enhance the achievement of student development tasks at State Senior High School 1 Kinali. This research was conducted using a research and development method with a population of 302 students, and the sample consisted of 31 students from class XI Phase F 9. The instrument used was the Inventory of Developmental Tasks. Data analysis was performed using Developmental Task Analysis Software. The research results are as follows: 1) The achievement of student developmental tasks (Study in class XI Phase F 9) is generally in the category of self-awareness development level. 2) The planning of guidance and counseling programs to enhance the achievement of student developmental tasks at State Senior High School 1 Kinali includes services such as information services, group counseling services, collaborative services, and bibliotherapy services. Based on the results of the research, recommendations can be made for students to identify unfulfilled developmental tasks and use this research as a guide for improvement.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the high level of stress experienced by students of the guidance and counseling study program in the thesis preparation process. The purpose of this study is to describe: 1) a stress coping strategy that focuses on problem-focused coping, and 2) a stress coping strategy that focuses on emotion-focused coping. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive with two key informants, namely (TA) and (AD), as well as four additional informants consisting of each student's supervisor, namely (JA) and (S), as well as close friends of each student, namely (NJS) and (DS). The research instrument uses an interview format, while the data analysis technique is carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study showed: 1) a stress coping strategy that focuses on problem solving is carried out by students through efforts to overcome thesis problems directly as a form of problem-focused coping. 2) Stress coping strategies that focus on managing emotions are carried out by students through efforts to manage emotional stress during thesis preparation as a form of emotion-focused coping. The results of this research are recommended to students in order to improve discipline in managing time and reduce the habit of delaying revision work so that the thesis preparation process can run more directed and consistently

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tingginya perilaku fear of missing out (FoMO) pada mahasiswa yang belum ditangani secara spesifik melalui layanan konseling. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pelayanan konseling analisis transaksional berbasis kebutuhan mahasiswa dalam mengurangi perilaku FoMO. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 86 mahasiswa Bimbingan dan Konseling angkatan 2023 Universitas PGRI Sumatera Barat dengan teknik total sampling. Hasil analisis kebutuhan menunjukkan bahwa 53,49% mahasiswa berada pada kategori FoMO tinggi, terutama pada aspek compulsion dan comparison with friends. Berdasarkan kebutuhan tersebut, dikembangkan modul pelayanan konseling analisis transaksional yang memuat sesi layanan berbasis teknik ego state secara operasional, meliputi Rencana Pelaksanaan Layanan, materi, langkah pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Hasil validasi ahli memperoleh skor rata-rata 2,48 dengan kategori kurang diterima, sehingga modul perlu disempurnakan sebelum digunakan secara lebih luas.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of students at SMPN 1 Lubuk Sikaping who are victims of bullying and show a tendency towards withdrawn behavior. The purpose of this research is to describe the tendency towards withdrawn behavior of students who are victims of bullying in terms of individual characteristics, including (1). Often seen alone or daydreaming, (2). Seemingly unenthusiastic in daily social activities, (3). Doing whatever is ordered or requested by others even though they don't like it or don't want to, (4). Not talking much, especially in expressing their opinions in public, (5). Feeling uncomfortable and unsafe in social environments, and (6). Preferring to do things alone, even though they should be done together. This study employed a qualitative approach with descriptive data. The key informants were students (CDA and IJA), as well as four additional informants: guidance and counseling teachers (MGM and NM), and peers (RAJ and SAP). Data collection was conducted through interviews, while data analysis involved data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study showed that students who were victims of bullying showed: (1). A tendency to separate themselves from their surroundings, (2). Decreased involvement in group activities, (3). Tendency to follow friends' orders (4). Rarely speak in public places, (5). Feeling unsafe in crowded environments, such as the school field or canteen, and (6). Preferring to work alone rather than in groups. Based on these findings, it is recommended that students need to develop courage in expressing themselves and seek support from a trusted environment to improve social skills.
