Abstract

Blended learning is one of the learning models used after the COVID-19 pandemic at Nahdlatul Ulama Al Ghazali University. Blended learning integrates technology that combines or mixes face-to-face and computer-based (online) learning. During the stages of the learning process, the lecturer prepares teaching materials in the form of PowerPoints or videos that can be accessed through learning media including EdLink, Zoom Meeting, Google Meet, and other electronic media. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of blended learning on learning achievement. The research method used is a quantitative method because the research data is in the form of numbers and analysis using statistics. The analysis used is a linear regression analysis with a population of mechanical engineering students. The number of samples used amounted to 34 students. Data collection techniques in the form of tests and questionnaires with a Likert scale from the results of the normality and linearity tests, it shows a sig value of 0.200 and 0.177, which states that the data is normally distributed and linear. Based on the linear regression test, it was determined that the t count was 3.296 > ttable 2.037 with a regression coefficient value of 0.331. It can be concluded that there is an influence between the x variable (blended learning) and the y variable (learning achievement).

Abstract

Waste management in Karang Bawang Village is only transported by garbage officers, garbage transportation is carried out once a week or twice still using the transportation system, then disposed of to the landfill. The problem found in Karang Bawang Village is that there is organic waste that is disposed of carelessly and not managed specifically so that the waste causes environmental problems such as unpleasant odors, damaging the scenery, as a hotbed of disease and others. One way of processing waste is by processing the waste into liquid organic fertilizer. Liquid organic fertilizer (POC) is a solution resulting from the decay of organic materials derived from crop residues, household waste, animal urine, animal and human waste. In this community service activity, a training method for making liquid organic fertilizer was carried out with PKK women in Karang Bawang Village. The results of this community service can increase knowledge for PKK mothers to be able to utilize the remains of household waste to make liquid organic fertilizer which can be used to fertilize plants. And as an effort to utilize abundant household waste and reduce household waste in the community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalis efektivitas pendapatan pada Badan Layanan Usaha Daerah (BLUD) RSUD Cilacap selama Pandemi Covid-19. Rasio keuangan yang diukur dan dianalisis dalam penelitian ini adalah rasio efektivitas dan analisis laju pertumbuhan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan kualitatif deskriptif dengan menganalisis tingkat Efektivitas dan analisis tren.Teknik pengumpulan data didapat dari hasil observasi yaitu Laporan Realisasi Anggaran (LRA) RSUD Cilacap Tahun 2019-2021 dan Rencana Strategis (RENSTRA) Tahun 2019-2021 serta dokumen pendukung berupa Laporan Kinerja Instasi Pemerintahan (LAKIP) serta Catatan atas Laporan Keuangan (CaLK) yang didapat pada ikhtisar laporan keuangan RSUD Cilacap. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan efektivitas pengelolaan keuangan daerah pada tahun 2019 tingkat efektivitasnya sebesar 84,45% sehingga kriterianya cukup efektif. tahun 2020 dengan adanya penyesuaian target penerimaan pendapatan dan ditetapkannya Kejadian Luar Biasa (KLB) Covid-19 pada triwulan pertama bulan maret tingkat Efektivitasnya sebesar 97,27% sehingga kriteria menjadi efektif. Pada tahun 2021 kembali naik dan berdasarkan realisasi penerimaan tingkat efektivitas tetap stabil sebesar 97,13% sehingga kriterianya tetap pada kondisi efektif. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa sistem pengelolaan keuangan daerah oleh Badan Layanan Umum Daerah (BLUD) RSUD Cilacap berkembang ke kondisi yang semakin efisien dengan acuan dokumen Rencana Bisnis dan Anggaran yang sudah ditetapkan.

Abstract

Physical chemistry practicum is a crucial element in higher education curriculum to develop students' science process skills. The study aims to analyze the skills of science processes in physics chemistry practices in the university environment. Emphasis is given on the ability to make careful observations, plan appropriate experiments, make accurate measurements, analyze data critically, and connect theory with practice in the laboratory. The research method used in this study is qualitative research involving data collection from physical chemistry practicum conducted by students in university laboratories. The research targets were chemical engineering students who received physical chemistry practicum courses at the faculty of industrial technology, Nahdlatul Ulama Al Ghazali University, Cilacap. Research data were collected through practicum observations, interviews, and analysis of student practicum report results. The data were analyzed to evaluate the science process skills developed during practicum, as well as its impact on the understanding of physical chemistry concepts. The results of the analysis show that physics chemistry practicums provide students with practical experience in conducting practicum activities. Students demonstrated the ability of their scientific processes to perform careful observations such as accurate and accurate measurements. Critically analyze data from the results of experiments or experiments such as making the correct table or graph. These skills are intellectual process skills that are very important in studying chemistry.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesiapan guru IPA di Kabupaten Batang dalam mengembangkan E-LKPD interaktif menggunakan platform Liveworksheets. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survei dengan instrumen angket yang terdiri dari 10 pertanyaan, yang menilai berbagai aspek kesiapan guru, termasuk pemahaman konsep, keterampilan teknis, akses teknologi, dan dukungan institusional. Data diperoleh dari responden 60 orang guru IPA dari 51 SMP di Kabupaten Batang. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar guru memiliki pemahaman yang cukup baik tentang konsep E-LKPD interaktif dan menunjukkan antusiasme dalam penerapannya. Namun, terdapat beberapa kendala yang perlu diatasi, seperti keterbatasan akses teknologi dan kurangnya pelatihan teknis yang memadai. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa meskipun ada potensi besar untuk pengembangan E-LKPD interaktif, diperlukan dukungan lebih lanjut dalam bentuk pelatihan intensif dan peningkatan infrastruktur teknologi. Kesimpulannya, kesiapan guru IPA di Kabupaten Batang dalam mengembangkan E-LKPD interaktif cukup tinggi, namun optimalisasi lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk mengatasi hambatan yang ada dan memastikan implementasi yang efektif. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi praktis bagi pembuat kebijakan pendidikan dan pengelola sekolah untuk memperkuat dukungan terhadap guru dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran melalui integrasi teknologi digital.

Abstract

Drama scripts are one of the learning materials for 10th grade high school students. A collection of drama scripts on an online platform can be a source of reading and teaching materials for students. This study aims to determine the types of direct sentences in a collection of drama scripts on the Brain Academy website as teaching materials for 10th grade high school. This research will analyze the types of direct sentences in a collection of drama scripts. The data source in this research comes from the Brain Academy website, with 10 drama scripts as the benchmark. This research uses a methodological approach in the form of a qualitative descriptive method and a theoretical approach in the form of syntax. Data collection in this research uses listening and note-taking techniques. The data analysis processing used in this article is the agih method with the basic technique for direct elements. The data presentation used in this article uses formal and informal data presentation in the form of tables, diagrams, and narratives. Based on the analysis, it was found that the most used sentence type in the ten drama scripts is declarative with 100 sentences, and the least used is interjective with 11 sentences. The interrogative sentences found amounted to 44 sentences, imperative sentences amounted to 12 sentences, and inappropriate sentences amounted to 52 sentences. So, the total amount of data is 219 sentences.

Abstract

Pragmatics is a branch of linguistics that studies the intent of speech. The material of this research is directive speech acts. Directive speech act is one type of speech act used by speakers to tell others to do certain actions. This research analyzes the directive speech acts in the Science Around Us learning video on the Pahamify YouTube Channel. The approach used to examine this research is using theoretical and methodological approaches. The theoretical approach used is a pragmatic approach while the methodological approach used is a qualitative descriptive approach. This research method uses a pragmatic and descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection in this analysis is through listening and note-taking techniques, and using the derivative technique of simak bebas libat cakap. Then, the data analysis technique uses the commensurate technique. And using formal and informal data presentation techniques. The results show that there are various types of directive speech acts used by speakers, such as asking, commanding, ordering, inviting, asking, pleading, suggesting and forcing. The act of asking dominates, showing the speaker's effort to actively involve the audience. The findings indicate that directive speech acts play an important role in creating effective interaction in science learning through video media. This research contributes to a better understanding of more in-depth about language use in the context of online learning.

Abstract

This research is essential for the realization of (a) the vision of Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) as a conservation-minded university and (b) the character of student creativity in the global era. This research aims to develop ethno-vlog learning media based on ethno-STEM to realize the UNNES vision of conservation and student creativity. This research is a development study that uses the Thiagarajan model. The resulting product is an innovative STEM-based ethno-vlog media developed through the stages of definition, design, development, and dissemination. The research subjects are students taking ethnoscience and local wisdom courses in the Integrated Science Study Program. As a result of the research data analysis and discussion, the data obtained during the study can be analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The analysis of the research data and discussion can be concluded that (a) the Ethno-vlog product has been produced by students taking Ethno-science courses and local intelligence with interesting categories; (b) the student's conservation character and creativity can be developed with the creation and learning of a STEM-based Ethno-vlog project; and (c) students' responses to the tasks of the STEM-based Ethno-vlog project are in good categories. The results of developing this ethno-vlog media can provide students with knowledge about local wisdom for science learning. Additionally, it encourages students to be more caring and actively participate in preserving culture and the environment through innovative educational methods, supporting the conservation vision of Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES).

Abstract

Shoreline mapping plays an important role in sustainable coastal management, particularly in strategic areas such as the Kedungsepur Metropolitan Area. This study aims to analyzes shoreline changes and identifies their impact on coastal communities. Shoreline extraction was conducted using remote sensing data from Landsat satellite imagery, while the analysis of shoreline changes was performed using the Digital Shoreline Analysis System (DSAS) within a Geographic Information System (GIS) environment. The results reveal that shoreline changes – both erosion and accretion – occurred across Kendal Regency, Semarang City, and Demak Regency. The most severe coastal erosion was identified in Bedono Village (Demak Regency), while the highest accretion occurred in Pidodo Kulon Village (Kendal Regency). When analyzed by watershed units, the highest accretion was found in the Bodri Watershed, one of the priority areas for revitalization. These findings highlight the need for integrated policy approaches that connect coastal and watershed management to ensure long-term sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the characteristics, feasibility, and effectiveness of an e-magazine based on ethnoscience of Semarang's traditional food on the subject of temperature and heat to train students' scientific literacy skills. The Research and Development (R&D) method, utilizing the ADDIE model, was employed. The study involved VII D class students at SMP Negeri 5 Semarang, with data collected through feasibility validation, pretest, posttest, and student responses. The results showed that the characteristics of the e-magazine produced include an attractive and colorful visual design, compatibility with various devices, efficiency, practicality, and flexibility, interactive features, an ethnoscience approach, science literacy aspects, and encouragement of independent learning. The findings indicate the e-magazine is highly feasible for use, scoring 96.11% for media aspects, 96.21% for content aspects, and 91% for student readability. Its effectiveness in improving science literacy was statistically significant (Wilcoxon test 0.00 < 0.05). An N-Gain score of 0.73 indicates a high improvement in science literacy, with an overall effectiveness level of 73% (moderately effective category). In conclusion, the ethnoscience-based e-magazine on Semarang's traditional food supports innovative learning, is highly suitable as a learning medium, and is sufficiently effective in developing students' science literacy skills.
