Abstract

The psychoeducation activity was conducted at UPT SMAN 9 Bulukumba with the aim of increasing adolescents’ understanding of sexual violence, especially related to inappropriate touching. The main objective was to serve as a preventive measure so that teenagers could protect themselves early on. The psychoeducation program titled "Brave Teens: Reject Inappropriate Touch!" was designed to enable adolescents to recognize, refuse, and confidently report socially and legally inappropriate actions. The methods used included administering pre-tests and post-tests to measure knowledge changes, delivering material on inappropriate touching, types of sexual violence, and how to refuse and report such incidents. The activities also involved discussions and Q&A sessions to deepen understanding and provide space for sharing experiences and opinions. A total of 30 female students participated in the program. The psychoeducation was carried out in stages, starting from preparation, material delivery, to final evaluation. Analysis results showed that after participating in the activity, participants’ understanding of the dangers of sexual violence increased significantly. Participants also became more confident in facing inappropriate situations. This psychoeducation activity proved effective in improving knowledge and shaping positive attitudes regarding the importance of self-protection against sexual violence. It is hoped that similar activities can create a safer school environment that is more aware of sexual violence issues and encourage adolescents to bravely say no and report if they experience or witness inappropriate behavior.Keywords: Psychoeducation; Adolescents; Sexual violence; Inappropriate touching.

Abstract

The development of digital technology encourages innovation in the fashion industry, especially in ready-to-wear clothing, which involves not only aesthetic aspects but also functional values. This study aims to examine the quality of ready-to-wear clothing incorporating QR Code technology and contemporary batik with the Teknika Mandala motif. The Research method used is the method of creation of works with a design approach, which includes the stages of exploration, design, and embodiment. The resulting clothing products are then tested for quality using descriptive percentages based on assessments from expert panelists and trained panelists. The assessment indicators for product quality include design, size, aesthetics, sewing techniques, clothing performance, and product features. The results show that ready-to-wear clothing with QR Code technology innovation and Teknika Mandala batik modifications obtained an average score of 85% and is included in the very decent category. The sewing technique and product features received the highest scores, while the size aspect received the lowest score, although it is still in the decent category. These results indicate that applying QR Code technology to contemporary batik-based ready-to-wear clothing can improve product quality and provide functional and innovative value relevant to the development of digital technology.

Abstract

Basic pattern making and pattern alteration skills are essential competencies that must be mastered by students in the Tailoring course. These skills serve as the foundation in the tailoring garment production process, which requires accuracy in measurements, proportions, and pattern construction. This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of basic pattern making and pattern alteration skills and students’ learning outcomes in the Tailoring course. This research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The research subjects were students of the Fashion Education Study Program who were enrolled in the Tailoring course. Data on basic pattern making and pattern alteration skills, as well as tailoring course scores, were obtained from students’ academic records. Data analysis was conducted using correlation analysis. The results of the study indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between the level of basic pattern making and pattern alteration skills and students’ learning outcomes in the Tailoring course. This finding suggests that the higher the students’ skills in basic pattern making and pattern alteration, the better the learning outcomes achieved. Therefore, basic pattern making and pattern alteration skills need to receive greater attention and reinforcement in the Tailoring learning process to improve students’ learning outcomes

Abstract

In the context of vocational education, mastery of basic pattern-making and pattern drafting skills is one of the main competency outcomes that must be achieved by students in the Fashion Education Study Program, as it serves as a fundamental basis in the fashion production process. This study aims to examine the relationship between basic pattern-making and pattern drafting skills and students’ learning outcomes in the Women’s Garment Production course. This research employed a quantitative approach using an ex post facto correlational research design. The population of this study consisted of students of the Fashion Education Study Program, Department of Family Welfare Education, Faculty of Engineering, Semarang State University, class of 2024, who had completed the Clothing Pattern Construction and Women’s Fashion Production courses. A total of 91 students were involved as samples using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through documentation in the form of final grades from the Clothing Pattern Construction course as indicators of basic pattern-making and pattern drafting skills, and final grades from the Women’s Fashion Production course as indicators of students’ learning outcomes. Data analysis included descriptive analysis, normality testing, and Spearman Rank correlation analysis. The results showed a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) with a correlation coefficient of 0.537, indicating a significant, strong, and positive relationship between basic pattern-making and pattern drafting skills and students’ learning outcomes in the Women’s Garment Production course. These findings indicate that mastery of pattern-making skills plays an important role in improving students’ learning achievement in Fashion Education.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi desain, proses konstruksi, dan kualitas produk dari Gaun Transformasi Ruang Jiwa Samudra dengan mengangkat nilai-nilai budaya melalui penggunaan Batik Kencana Padjajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan data yang dikumpulkan melalui lembar observasi terstruktur dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik persentase deskriptif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa gaun transformasi tersebut mencapai skor rata-rata 87% dalam kategori “Sangat Layak” di semua indikator yang dinilai, termasuk desain, ukuran, teknik jahitan, estetika, kinerja pakaian, dan keunikan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa gaun tersebut memenuhi standar produk fesyen kreatif yang estetis, fungsional, dan ekspresif secara budaya. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan fesyen transformasional kontemporer yang mengintegrasikan kekayaan budaya lokal dan berfungsi sebagai referensi untuk inovasi masa depan dalam desain fesyen modern yang menggabungkan fungsionalitas adaptif, konsep filosofis, dan identitas visual Indonesia.
