Abstract

Nowadays, wavelet has been widely applied in extracting features of the signal for automatic speech recognition system. Wavelets have many families that are determined by their mother function and order. The use of different wavelets to analyze the same signal would bring different results. In many cases, a trial and error procedure is used to select the optimal wavelet family. That is because there are no particular wavelet basis functions that can be applied to the entire speech signals. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the similarity between the speech signal and the wavelet base function. One of the methods that can be used is cross-correlation. In this study, the degree of correlation is determined between wavelet base function and Indonesian vowels. The influence of gender and consistencies of the results are also used in the analysis. The results show that db45 and db44 are most similar to male and female vowels utterance, respectively. For consistencies, only vowel e gives a consistent result. Overall, db44 is most similar to all Indonesian vowels utterance.

Abstract

Pengeringan secara konvensional masih banyak kekurangan, salah satunya sangat tergantung dengan cuaca. Sehingga perlu dilakukan suatu penanganan alternatif yaitu dengan menggunakan alat pengering mekanis menggunakan tambahan panas dan memerlukan energi untuk memanaskan bahan dan menguapkam air yaitu dengan menggunkan alat pengering seperti alat pengering tipe rak. Penelitian ini fokus pada penentuan konstanta laju pengeringan manisan pepaya baik hasil eksperimen ataupun prediksi menggunakan pengering tipe rak yang diberikan blower. Variabel yang digunakan adalah kecepatan aliran udara blower 3.43 m/detik dan 4.55 m/detik. Diperoleh hasil bahwa konstanta laju pengeringan prediksi memiliki nilai determinansi mencapai lebih dari 90% dengan nilai RMSE sangat kecil, masing-masing 0.065 dan 0.125. Penggunaan kecepatan aliran udara tidak terlalu mempengaruhi nilai konstanta laju pengeringan.

Abstract

Orang Sasak memiliki tradisi sastra naskah tulis pada daun lontar. Suku Sasak Lombok saat ini tetap menjadikan tradisi satu-satunya dari sedikit tempat di Indonesia dimana membaca lontar (disebut Sasak, pepaòsan) terus dipraktikkan, namun jumlah orang yang dapat membaca dan menafsirkan teks semakin berkurang. Dunia digital disatu sisi dengan beragam alat yang semakin canggih untuk ekstraksi, analisis, dan visualisasi serta teknik yang relevan untuk membawa digital lebih dekat kemasyarakat. Digitalisasi tujuannya menunjukkan validitas dan kegunaan menggunakan alat dan metode digital, sebagai sebuah alat yang sangat relevan yang harus dipertimbangkan dalam era sekarang khususnya naskah lontar Sasak. Metodologi yang digunalan adalah COTS (Commercial off the Shelf) Method, bukan merupakan pekerjaan yang mudah, karena selesainya sebuah sistem sangat bergantung pada efektivitas proses pemilihan yang tepat untuk menjadi lebih interaktif.  Teknologi pelestarian digital naskah lontar Sasak sangat diperlukan pada era ini demi menjaga kesinambungannya. Digitalisasi naskah lontar Sasak dapat meningkatkan pemanfaatan dan akses ke naskah, baik bentuk fisik maupun digital, sehingga kegiatan digitalisasi naskah Lontar Sasak sangat bermanfaat pada era industry 4.0. Program pelestarian ini bisa menjadi program yang lebih inklusif, sinergis dan integratif untuk generasi milenial. Generasi milineal sebagai pengguna masa depan adalah tantangan yang besar besar dalam digitalisasi naskah lontar Sasak.Kata kunci : Naskah, Lontar, Sasak, Digital, dan Cots Method.

Abstract

The Indonesian language is an agglutinative language which has complex suffixes and affixes attached on its root. For this reason there is a high possibility to recognize Indonesian speech based on its syllables. The syllable-based Indonesian speech recognition could reduce the database and recognize new Indonesian vocabularies which evolve as the result of language development. MFCC and WPT daubechies 3rd (DB3) and 7th (DB7) order methods are used in feature extraction process and HMM with Euclidean distance probability is applied for classification. The results shows that the best recognition rateis 75% and 70.8% for MFCC and WPT method respectively, which come from the testing using training data test. Meanwhile, for testing using external data test WPT method excel the MFCC method, where the best recognition rate is 53.1% for WPT and 47% for MFCC. For MFCC the accuracy increased asthe data length and the frame length increased. In WPT, the increase in accuracy is influenced by the length of data, type of the wavelet and decomposition level. It is also found that as the variation of state increased the recognition for both methods decreased.

Abstract

One of the strategic plans of the developing universities in obtaining new students is forming a partnership with surrounding high schools. However, partnerships made does not always behave as expected. This paper presented the segmentation technique to the previous new student admission dataset using the integration of recency, frequency, and monetary (RFM) analysis and fuzzy c-means (FCM) algorithm to evaluate the loyalty of the entire school that has bound the partnership with the institution. The dataset is converted using the RFM approach before processed with the FCM algorithm. The result reveals that the schools can be segmented, respectively, as high potential (SP), potential (P), low potential (CP), and very low potential (KP) categories with PCI value 0.86. From the analysis of SP, P, and CP, only 71 % of 52 school partners categorized as loyal partners.

Abstract

Lombok has a variety of traditional Lombok foods that must be preserved. Traditional Lombok foods are one of the characteristics and treasures of culture owned by Indonesia, not only in terms of taste, form, and variety, but also from diverse colors. Lombok has considerable tourism potential, as one of the centers of culinary tourism destinations. However, promotional media and information are still limited, so this research want to introduce or promote traditional Lombok foods with easily and quickly by utilizing mobile-based technology. Making information media on various of traditional foods of Lombok with 2 languages, Indonesian and English. While the method used in multimedia development was Luther Sutopo. The steps are Concept, Design, Material Collecting, Assembly, Testing, Distribution. The tools used in making these mobile applications are Adobe flash and Adobe Photoshop. The results of this research is a Media Application for Variety of Traditional Foods of Lombok

Abstract

Voice is the sound emitted from living things. With the development of Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) technology, voice can be used to make it easier for humans to do something. In the ASR extraction process the features have an important role in the recognition process. The feature extraction methods that are commonly applied to ASR are MFCC and Wavelet. Each of them has advantages and disadvantages. Therefore, this study will combine the wavelet feature extraction method and MFCC to maximize the existing advantages. The proposed method is called Wavelet-MFCC. Voice recognition method that does not use recommendations. Determination of system performance using the Word Recoginition Rate (WRR) method which is validated with the K-Fold Cross Validation with the number of folds is 5. The research dataset used is voice recording digits 0-9 in English. The results show that the digit speech recognition system that has been built gives the highest average value of 63% for digit 4 using wavelet daubechies DB3 and wavelet dyadic transform method. As for the comparison results of the wavelet decomposition method used, that the use of dyadic wavelet transformation is better than the wavelet package.

Abstract

Fruits, including mangoes, produce a wide variety of volatile organic compounds that give them their distinct aroma. Characteristics of fruit aroma is one of the important keys in determining consumer acceptance in the commercial fruit market based on individual preferences. So a possible way to determine the level of ripeness/damage is to feel the distinctive aroma presented by the fruit using a gas sensor. This study aims to build a system that can detect mango damage based on its aroma. The sensors used are TGS 2600, MQ3, MQ4, MQ2, and MQ8 which are connected to the Arduino Mega 2560. The learning model used is an ensemble learning model of Dynamic Classifier Selection (DCS) with Local Class Accuracy (LCA)/DCS-LCA. This algorithm combines Logistic Regression, Selection Tree, Support Vector Machine (SVM), Naïve Bayes, Random Forest, and Neural Networks. The model was then tested with a comparison of the amount of test data and training data of 70%:30%. The test results showed that the overall system Accuracy was 75% and the ability to detect mango fruit damage was 71%. The DCS-LCA classifier model outperforms each of its constituent base classifiers.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Sumbawa sebagai salah satu daerah yang dianugrahi potensi wisata yang beragam menjadikan daya tarik masyarakat luar Sumbawa (wisatawan) untuk berkunjung, bekerja, maupun untuk belajar. Namun terkadang bahasa menjadi salah satu kendala yang dihadapi mayarakat luar Sumbawa jika ingin berinteraksi dengan masyarakat asli Sumbawa. Sehingga dibutuhkan sebuah instrument yang bisa digunakan sehingga perbedaan bahasa tidak menjadi kendala dalam berinteraksi yaitu kamus. Oleh karena itu, kamus yang disajikan haruslah sesuai dengan teknologi yang banyak diminati oleh masyarakat Indonesia pada umumnya yaitu smartphone Android dikarenakan fitur-fitur yang tersedia dalam smartphone tersebut. Salah satu fiturnya adalah speech recognition.Perancangan sistem ini dilakukan dengan metodologi waterfall yang terdiri dari proses analisis, desain, pengkodean, pengujian, dan terakhir pemeliharaan. Tools yang digunakan adalah Android Studio dan DB Browser for SQLite (DB4S). Metode pengujian menggunakan Black Box untuk uji fungsionalitas aplikasi dan Word Correct Rate (WCR) untuk menguji akurasi sistem dengan menggunakan 30 kata yang berbeda dan setiap kata diulang sebanyak 10 kali.Hasil yang sudah dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah terciptanya aplikasi Kamus Bahasa Indonesia- Sumbawa Berbasis Android dengan memanfaatkan teknologi speech recognition.Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah Uji fungsionalitas menunjukkan fitur-fitur aplikasi dapat bekerja dengan baik ketika offline maupun online. Sedangkan untuk uji coba akurasi sistem didapatkan hasil WCR secara berturut-turut sebesar 92.67% ketika offline dan 95.33% ketika online. ABSTRACT Sumbawa as one of the areas that is blessed with diverse tourism potential makes the appeal of people outside Sumbawa (tourists) to visit, work, or to study. But sometimes language becomes one of the obstacles faced by people outside Sumbawa if they want to interact with the native people of Sumbawa. So we need an instrument that can be used so that differences in language do not become obstacles in interacting with the dictionary. Therefore, the dictionary presented must be in accordance with the technology that is in great demand by the Indonesian people in general, namely Android smartphones because of the features available in these smartphones. One of the features is speech recognition. The design of this system is done by the waterfall methodology which consists of the process of analysis, design, coding, testing, and finally maintenance. The tools used are Android Studio and DB Browser for SQLite (DB4S). The testing method uses Black Box to test application functionality and Word Correct Rate (WCR) to test the accuracy of the system using 30 different words and each word is repeated 10 times. The results achieved in this study are the creation of an Indonesian-Sumbawa-based Dictionary application Android by utilizing speech recognition technology. The conclusion of this research is the functionality test shows that the application features can work well when offline or online. Whereas for testing the accuracy of the system the WCR results obtained were 92.67% when offline and 95.33% when online.
