Abstract

This study discusses the influence of religiosity on employee performance, considering the role of entrepreneurial leadership as a mediating variable. In the modern era, the development of technology and health systems increasingly impacts the quality of hospital services, which depend on the performance of human resources. One factor that can influence employee performance is religiosity, which is believed to enhance positive work behavior and quality service. However, the results of studies related to the connection between religiosity and employee performance are still inconsistent, with some showing significant effects and others showing no significant effects. In this article, entrepreneurial leadership is viewed as a factor that can strengthen the influence of religiosity on employee performance. This type of leadership emphasizes innovative decision-making, employee empowerment, and the development of organizational cultures that support high performance. Using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach, this study is expected to provide further understanding of how religiosity and entrepreneurial leadership are interrelated and influence employee performance, particularly in the healthcare sector. The findings of this study are expected to contribute to human resource management in hospitals and other sectors that require performance improvement through the management of religious values and innovative leadership.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in the Indonesian economy. However, challenges such as limited market access and resources often hinder their development. Digitalization is one solution to improve competitiveness and social mobility. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are productive businesses owned by individuals or small business entities with certain limitations in terms of assets and turnover, in accordance with Law Number 20 of 2008 concerning Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). They serve as the backbone of the Indonesian economy, contributing significantly to Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and providing employment. MSMEs still face various challenges, such as low digital literacy and difficulties in marketing and product innovation. The use of technology can be a solution for MSMEs to increase competitiveness and expand markets. This study aims to analyze the role of digitalization in driving the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and its implications for social mobility of entrepreneurs. This study uses a qualitative method with case studies of several MSMEs that have implemented digitalization. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with MSME owners and analysis of related documents. Digitalization is understood as the use of digital technology, particularly e-commerce platforms, social media, and digital financial services, which can open wider market access, increase business efficiency, and strengthen competitiveness. Using a qualitative approach and in-depth interviews with MSMEs, this study found that digitalization contributes significantly to increased income, expanded social networks, and changes in the socioeconomic status of the community. However, the study also revealed gaps in access to technology and digital skills that can widen the social gap between adaptive MSMEs and those left behind. The results of this study indicate that digitalization functions not only as an economic instrument but also as a crucial factor in encouraging social mobility, provided there is support from policies and programs to improve sustainable digital literacy

Abstract

The construction industry plays a strategic role in supporting national development, but low labor productivity remains a challenge, especially in medium-scale construction projects. Labor productivity is influenced by various factors, including competence and the effectiveness of the monitoring system. Although a number of previous studies have examined these two variables, the findings show inconsistencies, so further study is needed to confirm their contribution to construction project productivity. This study aims to analyze the effect of labor competence and the monitoring system on construction project productivity. This study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory research type. A sample of 72 respondents was determined using purposive sampling from a population of 80 workers on the PT Y boarding house construction project in Malang City. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires, observations, and documentation. Data analysis used multiple linear regression with the support of validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The results showed that both workforce competency and the supervision system had a significant effect on project productivity. The supervision system variable showed the most dominant effect with a significance value of 0.000 and a regression coefficient of 0.538, while workforce competency had a significance value of 0.014 with a regression coefficient of 0.412. Simultaneously, both variables have a significant effect on productivity with an R-Square value of 0.620, which means that 62% of productivity variation can be explained by these two variables.
