Abstract

This study aims to determine the correlation between the teacher's role and children's social behavior at TK Dewi Sartika Kindergarten, Sipatana District, Gorontalo City. The researcher employed a qualitative research method to explore this relationship. The subjects consisted of one teacher and 13 students from the same class. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results describe that the correlation between the teacher's role and the social behavior of young children encompasses six aspects: 1) The teacher as an educator, for example, teaches children how to make friends, share, and collaborate through group games or class activities. 2) The teacher as a manager, for example, establishing clear classroom rules, such as taking turns speaking during discussions or respecting others' feelings. 3) The teacher, as a supervisor, guides children to resolve conflicts peacefully and teaches them how to negotiate or empathize with their peers' emotions. 4) The teacher is an innovator, for example, introducing role-play activities where children pretend to be in different professions or social situations, allowing them to practice social interactions fun and innovatively. 5) The teacher is a communicator, for example, helping children express their emotions healthily when they feel angry or sad and teaching them how to communicate with their peers. 6) The teacher is a motivator, for example, by praising and rewarding children who display positive social behavior, such as collaborating in teams, helping friends in need, or constructively resolving conflicts. This helps children feel more motivated to continue improving their social skills.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of assistant teachers in the teaching and learning process at TK Negeri Pembina, Kota Tengah, Gorontalo City. The research focuses include: (1) identifying the challenges faced by assistant teachers in the learning process, (2) understanding how the learning process is conducted by assistant teachers, and (3) evaluating the outcomes achieved in the implementation of the learning process by assistant teachers.The study employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results indicate that assistant teachers play an active role in supporting classroom teachers, assisting and guiding children who require special attention. The tasks performed by assistant teachers reveal certain inconsistencies, such as assistant teachers taking on the role of classroom teachers. Despite challenges in managing students, asssistant teachers are able to contribute significantly to achieving learning objectives.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Smart Bottle Cap learning media on children's ability to recognize Hyaiyah letters. The research involved all students of Group B at Pelangi Harapan Kindergarten, using a total sampling technique due to the small population (fewer than 30 students). A total of 14 students were selected as the sample. Data were collected through observation and documentation, and analyzed using the t-test. The study was conducted at Pelangi Harapan Kindergarten, Kayubulan Village, Batudaa Pantai Subdistrict, Gorontalo Regency The results indicate that the use of the Smart Bottle Cap media significantly improves children's ability to recognize Hijaiyah letters. There was an increase in the mean score from 22.00 (pretest) to 32.21 (posttest). The combined t-test for the pretest and posttest showed a significanse value (sig) of 0.001 < 0.05, indicating a statistically significant influence therefore, the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted.

Abstract

Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini sebagai berikut : Apakah terdapat pengaruh penerapan metode montessori terhadap kemampuan motorik halus anak usia dini di TK Al-Khairat Kota Gorontalo.? Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan metode montessori terhadap kemampuan motorik halus anak dalam studi kasus anak di TK Al-Khairat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dan menggunakan desain penelitian pre-test dan post-test yaitu memberikan tes sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 12 orang anak di kelompok B2 TK Al-Khairat Kota Gorontalo. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus anak melalui penerapan metode montessori. Pengumpulan data pre-test dan post-test dilakukan melalui observasi menggunakan instrumen penelitian. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan cara olah data statistika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam nilai rata-rata hasil belajar sebelum dan sesudah pemberian perlakuan, dapat dibuktikan dengan nilai yang diperoleh pada data pre-test dan post-test adalah 17,83 dan 37 Hasil tersebut membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang cukup signifikan sebelum dan sesudah pemberian perlakuan. Berdasarkan hasil uji t pada Diketahui bahwa nilai sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, maka H0 diterima dan H1 ditolak. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya perbedaan signifikan dalam kemampuan motorik halus anak pada data pre-test dan post-test. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel x berpengaruh terhadap variabel y.

Abstract

TK Negeri At-Taubah Kecamatan Bulango Selatan Kabupaten Bone Bolango menggunakan media kartu bergambar untuk membantu nak-anak berusia 5 hingga 6 tahun dalam meningkatkan kompetensi literasi membaca dasar. Memanfaatkan kerangka pre-test dan posttestkelompok tunggal, penelitian mengintegrasikan metodologi eksperimental dengan desain penelitian kuantitatif. Sebanyak 15 peserta dimasukkan ke dalam kelompok penelitian. Menurut data yang dianalisis, skor rata-rata meningkat dari 24,13 pada pra-tes menjadi 30,87 pada pasca-tes. Hipotesis alternatif (Hi) divalidasi mengikuti penilaian hipotesis melalui analisis regresi linier, menghasilkan nilai signifikansi 0.000, yang berada di bawah ambang 0,05. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media kartu bergambar secara efektif berkontribusi pada kemajuan literasi membaca awal anak usia lima sampai enam tahun secara signifikan.
