Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research was analyzed the performance improvement strategyof laboratory assistant (PLP) in Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) by applied functionalforce. The research was conducted by using a structure approach model of AnalyticalHierarchy Process (AHP) with software Expert Choice 2000 as instrument to know structureand strategy alternative priority. The data were primary data and secondary data. The primarydata were the result of interviewed with five experts who have capabilities in performancemanagement, laboratory, and understand the roles and PLP duties. The research showed thatthe most important was strategy alternative, and became a main priority in order to improvethe performance of PLP in IPB improved the welfare with the rank (0.329). The result wasalso showed that most actors involved and influential in improving the performance of PLP,is the head of the laboratory with the rank (0.440), while the goal is a main priority inimproving performance is increasing the professionalism of PLP (0.431). In conclusion,performance of PLP in IPB can be improved by pay attention their welfare. Besides that, thehead of laboratory should be able to encourage and motivate in improving their performance,so PLP is capable to work professionally and give the best service to consumers.Keywords: AHP, Performance, PLP, StrategyAbstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis strategi peningkatan kinerja pranatalaboratorium pendidikan (PLP) di Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB), dengan diterapkannyajabatan fungsional PLP. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan model pendekan strukturAHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) dengan Software Expert Choice 2000 sebagai alat untukmelihat struktur dan prioritas utama alternatif strategi. Data yang digunakan adalah dataprimer yang merupakan hasil wawancara terhadap 5 orang pakar yang memiliki kapabilitasdalam manajemen kinerja, laboratorium, dan pemahaman terhadap peran dan tugas PLP.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan alternatif strategi yang paling penting dan menjadi prioritasutama dalam rangka peningkatan kinerja PLP di IPB adalah meningkatkan kesejahteraandengan bobot (0,329). Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa aktor yang paling terlibatdan berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kinerja PLP adalah kepala laboratorium dengan bobotsebesar (0,440), sedangkan tujuan yang menjadi prioritas utama dalam meningkatkan kinerjaPLP adalah meningkatkan profesionalisme PLP (0,431). Kinerja PLP di IPB dapatditingkatkan dengan memperhatikan kesejahteraannya sejalan dengan diterapkannya jabatanfungsional PLP. Selain itu kepala laboratorium, sebaiknya dapat mendorong dan memotivasipara PLP dalam meningkatkan kinerjanya, sehingga PLP mampu bekerja secara mandiri danprofesional serta memberikan pelayanan yang terbaik dan berorientasi kepada kepuasankonsumen.Kata kunci: AHP, Kinerja, PLP, Strategi

Abstract

Environmental, economic and social aspects are three important pillars in sustainable development. However, the 2017 West Sumatra Environmental Management Regional Performance Document (DIKPLHD) stated that the waste generation in West Sumatra reached 2,452,213 kg / day and only 34.54% of districts / cities had managed the waste properly. So far, the handling of waste is usually conducted by stacking, collecting, and transporting to the Final Processing Site (TPA). Therefore, it is important to start a systematic program to reduce waste. One possible method that can be implemented is the empowerment of the waste bank. Campus 2 UNAND Payakumbuh has conducted community service through socialization and training programs with the theme "Turning Waste Into Rupiah". The objective of this program is to educate the public to be able to reduce waste in order to reach sustainable business development. In this training, the participants were provided with knowledge about waste management and the added value of recycling unused newspapers into useful items such as flower vases.

Abstract

Narrow land is a problem for conventional agriculture to grow crops Management of small area can be overcome with a hydroponic system that utilizes technology in farming. Small area owned by households can be maximized for agriculture. However, household stigma is still fixed on conventional agriculture by managing large tracts of land. This stigma must then be changed by giving literacy to households about farming using the hydroponic method. Based on this understanding, Department of Management Campus II Universitas Andalas held socialization and training with the theme "Utilizing Small Area to Increase Household Incomes, Through Cultivation Using the Hydroponic System". The primary purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge through training to residents of the Nagari Sungai Kamuyang on the use of hydroponic systems. Another goal is to provide interest in business opportunities that can be generated from farming using the hydroponic system, exploring the creativity of citizens in the use of narrow land, and producing clean and healthy plants. The dedication method uses lectures, hands-on practice, and discussion with speakers. Community service activities are carried out at the Kamuyang Nagari guardian's office. In organizing this training, the participants are equipped with necessary knowledge related to hydroponics, and then directly practice farming with the hydroponic wick system. The community expects activities like this to continue to be carried out in the framework of better community empowerment.

Abstract

Nagari Tarantang is one of the villages located in Harau District, Limapuluh Kota Regency. Farming and gardening are the main livelihoods of the people. In addition, the green nature that surrounds the valleys and cliffs makes Nagari Tarantang one of the famous tourist destinations, namely the Harau Valley Tourism Area. This activity aims to help Nagari Tarantang in breaking the chain of the spread of Covid-19, especially in public areas such as the Harau Valley tourist area, mosques, and Nagari government offices by socializing the use of a portable sink with a tread system to the public and tourists visiting the area. In order to achieve this goal, the method used in this activity is to conduct socialization about the importance of using a tread system portable sink to the people of Nagari Tarantang. The implementation of this activity is carried out intensively, directed, and gradually. The stages and methods used are 1. Equipment Fulfillment Stage, 2. Manufacturing Stage, and 3. Delivery Stage. The results of the activities obtained by all these series of activities went well. All counseling participants received knowledge about the importance of washing hands to break the chain of the spread of the Covid-19 virus in Nagari Tarantang. In addition, he has helped build several portable sinks with a tread system to be placed in public areas such as the Harau Valley tourist area, mosques, and the office of Walinagari Tarantang. With the completion of this activity, it is hoped that the community and visitors to the Harau Valley tourist attraction can use a portable sink with the tread system to wash their hands before and after entering the Harau Valley Tourism Area as well as public areas in Nagari Tarantang such as the Harau Valley tourist area, mosques, and the office of Walinagari Tarantang.

Abstract

The partner in this Community Partnership Program (PKM) Helping Businesses to Develop program is the Empat Saudara, owned by Rianto Saputra in Jorong Indobaleh Timur Kenagarian Mungo, Limapuluh Kota Regency. Currently, partners have significant problems in the aspects of production and marketing. The roasted peanut production process is traditionally done using an iron pan and sand by turning the beans using a wooden spoon. The quality and production capacity is limited. The purpose of this community engagement was to improve the product quality and production capacity of partners every day. The method provided education related to entrepreneurship training, such as production management, resource management, marketing and discussions about the problems partners face in running their business. It was followed by assisting production technology innovation using a 50 kg roaster machine at partner locations. This activity hopes to achieve a common goal, namely improving product quality and production volume, and ultimately raising the finances of the roasted peanut SMEs community.

Abstract

Nagari Sikabu-kabu Tanjung Haro Padang Panjang is the the main gate in the regency of Lima Puluh Kota and should be foremost Nagari. The tourism sector has beautiful natural conditions and a great view of Talang and Kayu Kolek panorama. The purpose of the service was to develop Nagari Sikabu-kabu Tanjung Haro Padang Panjang as a tourist village. It would attract tourists to travel, which is carried out with a tourism village development strategy. Through Sustainable Tourism Development (STD) steps by conducting Focus Group Discussion (FGD) activities with the community, including tourism managers, Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) actors, and the leaders of Nagari. The methods used were lectures, discussions, business consultations, and assistance in creating and managing Nagari tourism websites. This activity might provide insights into managing a touristic village by increasing the knowledge and skills of the Nagari tourism managers and community surroundings.

Abstract

In Karang Anyar Village, Langsa City, there is an ettawa goat’s milk farm that produces and sells fresh milk. From the survey conducted, the problems faced by partners are cage and animal feed problems, many consumers do not like the taste of Ettawa goat’s milk, excess production, and farm owners do not have insight into product diversification and marketing. The aims of this community service activity are to produce diversification and development of yogurt products from ettawa goat's milk. This service was carried out at UD Susu Kambing Ettawa, Karang Anyar Village, Langsa Baro District, Langsa City. The method of implementing this community service consists of the following stages: planning and preparation (team debriefing, pre-survey, determining the schedule and place of activity, preparation of tools and materials), implementation (counseling and workshops), as well as the monitoring and evaluation stage. Pretest and posttest on 15 participants were carried out to determine the level of adoption of the participants' knowledge regarding Ettawa goat milk diversification which was analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Test. The results of the planning and preparation stages have agreed on the tools and materials needed by the partners, the date and place of implementation, as well as the financing. The results achieved from the implementation stage were product diversification in Ettawa goat milk in the form of yogurt, packaging changes, branding (branding), and marketing using social media. The results of the monitoring and evaluation phase by administering pretest and posttest show that there are differences in the level of partner knowledge before and after counseling and workshop activities are held based on statistical tests.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menguji pengaruh motivasi wisatawan, sikap wisatawan, citra destinasi, media sosial, kualitas lingkungan terhadap pilihan destinasi pengunjung di kawasan wisata Pulau Mandeh. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah explanatory research dengan metode penelitian yaitu metode kuantitatif. Penelitian dilakukan pada pengunjung kawasan wisata Pulau Mandeh dengan 84 orang responden. Data dianalisis menggunakan software SPSS 22.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi wisatawan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pilihan destinasi pengunjung, sikap wisatawan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pilihan destinasi pengunjung, citra destinasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pilihan destinasi pengunjung, media sosial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pilihan destinasi pengunjung, kualitas lingkungan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pilihan destinasi pengunjung. Implikasi penelitian ini ditujukan untuk pengelola kawasan wisata Pulau Mandeh Kedepannya dalam menjalankan usahanya dalam citra destinasi yang lebih beragam, media sosial yang memiliki konten menarik dan menjaga kualitas lingkungan sehingga mendorong pengunjung untuk berkunjung ke Pulau Mandeh.

Abstract

Barenbliss is a cosmetics brand from South Korea that entered Indonesia in 2021. The study aims to see the effect of the effectiveness of social media communication on purchase intentions at Barenbbliss Powder in Payakumbuh City with consumer attitudes as mediation. This study used a quantitative method, the respondents in the study amounted to 194 samples, then the data was processed and analyzed using the SEM-PLS analysis method with the help of SmartPLS software version 4.0. The results of the study showed that the variables of source credibility and information quality had no effect on the effectiveness of social media communication at Barenbliss Powder in Payakumbuh City.The brand credibility variables, accuracy of information were positively and significantly related to the effectiveness of social media communication at Barenbliss Powder in Payakumbuh City. The variables of social media communication effectiveness have a positive and significant relationship with consumer attitudes on Barenbliss Powder in Payakumbuh City. The variables of consumer attitudes are positive and significant towards purchase intentions in Barenbliss Powder in Payakumbuh City. The variable of full consumer attitude mediated the relationship between the effectiveness of social media communication and purchase intention for Barenbliss Powder in Payakumbuh City.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan model dukungan pemerintah dalam pengembangan usaha mikro kecil dan menengah (UMKM) kerupuk di kota Payakumbuh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) dengan software smartPLS v.3 sebagai alat analisis dan pengolahan data. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang merupakan hasil wawancara terhadap 30 responden dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengembangan UMKM sangat dipengaruhi secara tidak langsung oleh variabel dukungan pemerintah yang direfleksikan oleh indikator (DK2, DK4), melalui akses keuangan (AK2, AK3), teknologi (T2, T4, T5), dan pendidikan (P1, P2, P3) yang mempunyai pengaruh yang cukup kuat. Sedangkan variabel kemampuan manajerial (KM3) dan tantangan pemasaran (TP2, TP3) memberikan pengaruh langsung yang lemah dengan nilai R2 untuk variabel akses keuangan adalah (0.159), teknologi (0.101), pendidikan (0.065), dan variabel pengembangan UMKM (0.533). Pemerintah kota Payakumbuh harus benar-benar serius dalam mendukung pengembangan UMKM kerupuk, sebab campur tangan atau intervensi dari pemerintah sangat dibutuhkan oleh para pelaku UMKM kerupuk di kota Payakumbuh.
