Abstract

The tanean lanjhang traditional house is a bridge between culture and geometry, as its structure is rich in geometric elements.its structure is rich in geometric elements. The aim of the research of this research is to explore architecture of tanean lanjhang, as a teaching material for geometry atgeometry teaching material in elementary school. Elementary School. This research uses qualitative research with researcher as a participant. Data collection techniques using observation, documentation, and literature study. Data analysis techniques include: reduction data reduction, data display, and verification. The research subjects were 2 tanean lanjhang houses in Bangkalan and Pamekasan. The results of this study concluded that in the tanean lanjhang traditional house, there are teaching materials teaching materials that can be used in mathematics learning materials. The implementation of this research can be applied in teaching materials, such as culture-based teaching materials, culture-based LKPD and culture-based assessments. and culture-based assessments.

Abstract

The architecture of the tanean lanjhang traditional house is a bridge between culture and spatial literacy, because tanean lanjhang architecture contains elements of visualization, reasoning, and communication that can be integrated in mathematics learning. The purpose of this study is to explore spatial literacy ideas from tanean lanjhang architecture in mathematics learning. This type of research is qualitative research with the researcher as a participant. The research instrument was an observation sheet containing spatial literacy indicators and mathematical elements. Data collection techniques are: observation, interview, documentation, and literature study. The research subject was the taneyan lanjhang house in Cempaka Hamlet, Candi Burung Village, Proppo-Pamekasan. The results concluded that in the architecture of the tanean lanjhang traditional house, there are spatial literacy ideas in the form of visualization, reasoning, and communication that can be used to explain the concepts of geometry, measurement, number addition, fractions, and (row, series, arithmetic). Implementation of research results in the form of preparation of culture-based materials, Learner Worksheets (LKPD), or culture-based assessments.

Abstract

This study was motivated by low learning outcomes resulting from a lack of innovation in the use of learning media, with the reliance on lecture and assignment methods often leading to students feeling bored and less interested in learning. The purpose of this study was to develop, test the validity and practicality of, and test the effectiveness of interactive multimedia learning media development assisted by Wordwall in improving the critical thinking skills of elementary school students. This study employs the ADDIE development model. The product testing subjects include subject matter experts, media experts, group testing, and field testing. The data collection instruments used include validation forms, questionnaires, and assessments of critical thinking skills. Furthermore, the analytical method employed in this study is quantitative analysis. The interactive multimedia developed achieved a validity score of 90% from subject matter expert validation and 85% from media expert validation. The multimedia development was also proven to be effective in improving students' critical thinking skills. The N-gain score calculation resulted in a moderate category of 0.59, 81% in the effective category, and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant (absolute) difference in effectiveness between the application of interactive multimedia assisted by Wordwall and not using interactive multimedia to improve students' critical thinking skills. The results of this study have implications for improving learning outcomes and increasing the application of digital media in thematic learning at the elementary level more broadly.

Abstract

Menghadapi tuntutan abad 21, skills literasi pengolahan data statistik secara elektronik harus dikuasai oleh mahasiswa. Sementara, skills tersebut belum dikuasai mahasiswa secara optimal. Mahasiswa mempunyai kecenderungan menggunakan perhitungan manual yang kerap memakan waktu yang lama dan tidak akurat dalam merepresentasikan data. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan penggunaan excel dan SPSS untuk mengoptimalkan skills literasi pengolahan data statistik secara elektronik pada mahasiswa prodi PGSD Universitas Trunojoyo. Tahapan pelatihan berupa: (1) tahap persiapan, (2) tahap pelaksanaan, dan (3) tahap evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil pelatihan berupa peningkatan skills literasi pengolahan data statistik secara elektronik mahasiswa yang ditunjukkan dari kecepatan dan keakuratan dalam menyelesaikan pengolahan data. Implementasi pelatihan berupa penerapan skills pengolahan data statistik secara elektronik pada mata kuliah statistika pendidikan dan metodologi penelitian.

Abstract

Pelatihan pembuatan batik ecoprint ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan minimnya pengembangan keterampilan spasial dan jiwa kewirausahaan siswa SD Islam Terpadu Al Kautsar yang terletak di Jl. Onggoleksono No.01 RT.02 RW.05 Desa Kebonduren, Kec. Ponggok, Kabupaten Blitar. Selain itu juga untuk memberikan wawasan, melatih, dan mendampingi siswa selama proses pembuatan batik ecoprint. Subjek pelatihan ini adalah 60 siswa SDIT Al Kautsar yang terdiri dari kelas 3, 4, dan 5. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dibagi menjadi tiga tahapan. Tahap pertama adalah tahap persiapan yaitu menyiapkan alat dan bahan untuk pembuatan pola batik eco print berupa totebag yang sudah di mordan, palu kayu, plastik, daun-daunan. Tahap kedua adalah tahap pelaksanaan yaitu pembuatan pola batik ecoprint mulai dari memperkenalkan ecoprint hingga pengaturan komposisi dan pola daun pada kain. Tahap ketiga yaitu evaluasi kegiatan. Metode yang digunakan untuk menyampaikan materi yaitu ceramah dan tanya jawab sedangkan metode untuk memperkenalkan teknik ecoprint menggunakan metode demonstrasi dan praktik. Hasil dari kegiatan pelatihan ini yaitu siswa lebih paham dan menguasai keterampilan spasial beserta kewirausahaan. Setiap batik ecoprint yang sudah dibuat oleh siswa memiliki motif yang unik, mencerminkan kreativitas masing-masing siswa dalam menggunakan keterampilan spasial.

Abstract

This article addressed the question, from a juridical empirical approach) to what extent the making and implementation of a new curriculum at formal educational institution at Madura containing lesson for the preservation and development of local corn cultivation and agriculture may have positive impact on the enhancement of the local economy.  Field study is conducted at the Sumenep district. The main finding is that the regional autonomy policy opens up the possibility for regional/local government to make and implement educational policy introducing a new curriculum containing lesson in local corn cultivation and corn agribusiness. This new curriculum may be implemented at the basic school up to the intermediate level with the purpose of strengthening local culture, i.e., traditional corn cultivation. With that in mind a regional regulation should be issued providing the legal basis for the above policy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji kesalahan mahasiswa dalam memecahkan masalah geometri melalui penelusuran prior knowledge. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus tipe instrumental melibatkan 185 mahasiswa PGSD Universitas Trunojoyo Madura. Subjek menyelesaikan instrumen pelacak prior knowledge dan dilanjutkan pemecahan masalah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 71 (38,37%) gagal menyelesaikan masalah segitiga dan 124 (67,02%) subjek gagal menyelesaikan masalah jajar genjang. Kesalahan menyelesaikan masalah tersebut dikarenakan kesalahan memahami prior knowledge. Kesalahan pemecahan masalah dapat dikelompokkan menjadi empat bentuk yaitu: (1) kesalahan representasi; (2) kesalahan menggambar garis tinggi, (3) kesalahan dalam menggunakan teorema phytagoras, dan (4) kesalahan memahami konteks berbeda. Sebaran kesalahan prior knowledge: 87,75% kesalahan memahami aksioma, definisi dan representasi dalam geometri sebesar; dan 26,49% kesalahan representasi gambar.   Kata kunci: Prior Knowladge, Pemecahan Masalah, Geometri Abstract: This study examines students' mistakes in solving geometric problems through searching prior knowledge. This research is an instrumental type case study involving 185 PGSD students at Trunojoyo University, Madura. The subject completed the prior knowledge tracking instrument and continued problem solving. The results showed that 71 (38.37%) failed to solve the triangle problem and 124 (67.02%) subjects failed to solve the parallelogram problem. Errors in solving these problems are due to errors in understanding prior knowledge. Problem solving errors can be grouped into four forms, namely: (1) misrepresentation; (2) mistakes in drawing heights, (3) mistakes in using the Pythagorean theorem, and (4) mistakes in understanding different contexts. Prior knowledge error distribution: 87.75% error in understanding the axioms, definitions and representations in geometry by; and 26.49% image representation error. Keywords: Prior Knowladge, Problem Solving, Geometry.

Abstract

Bahan ajar yang inovatif, kontekstual, dan berintegrasi potensi lokal batik Ghentongan Tanjung Bumi Madura diharapkan mampu meningkatkan literasi sains. Tujuan penelitian ini mengembangkan majalah IPA batik Ghentongan Tanjung Bumi Madura pada materi unsur, senyawa, dan campuran kelas VIII SMP/MTs yang valid dan efektif meningkatkan literasi sains siswa. Majalah IPA dikembangkan menggunakan model ADDIE dengan lima tahapan yaitu Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, dan Evaluate. Uji validitas terdiri dari aspek media dan aspek materi yang dilakukan oleh validator ahli media dan ahli materi menggunakan angket sedangkan literasi sains diukur menggunakan soal literasi sains. Hasil validitas majalah IPA pada aspek materi sebesar 94,79% dan pada aspek materi sebesar 95,14% dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil literasi sains siswa ditunjukkan dengan nilai N-Gain seluruh indikator literasi sains sebesar 0,63 dengan kriteria sedang. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa majalah IPA yang dikembangkan valid dan efektif untuk meningkatkan literasi sains siswa. Pengembangan Majalah IPA Batik Ghentongan diharapkan mampu memberikan altenatif media pembelajaran yang menyajikan integrasi konsep sains dengan konteks kearifan lokal khususnya batik Tanjung Bumi Madura.
