Abstract

Patient satisfaction with the health services provided is influenced by satisfaction with services (medical, nursing, nutrition, laboratory, radiology, administration), environment and facilities available. The better the health services provided by a hospital, the more satisfying the patient as a service recipient is expected, although basically client satisfaction with the services provided is a subjective value of the quality of service provided and received by the client. Although this subjective value is strongly influenced by various factors, client satisfaction will still be based on the truth and objective reality experienced by clients when receiving services at the Hospital. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that affect patient satisfaction in the inpatient room of the Arifin Nu'mang General Hospital Management Agency. The type of research used is descriptive research, which explains something or some circumstances (Azwar & Prihartono, 2013). This study uses a cross sectional design that reveals the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable (Nursalam & Pariani, 2001). This study was conducted to see Analyst factors affecting patient satisfaction in the inpatient room of Arifin Nu'mang Regency General Hospital Management Agency. The result is After data collection and analysis of existing data, it can be seen that in general patients in the Inpatient Room of the Management Board of the Arifin Nu'mang General Hospital said they were satisfied with the services provided. This can be seen in the data that 90% of respondents said they were satisfied and only 10% were not satisfied. The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant relationship between hospital services and patient satisfaction in the inpatient room of Arifin Nu'mang General Hospital Management Agency.

Abstract

Waste management in boarding school environments, such as Pondok Tahfizh Al-Qur’an Daarul Furqon Palopo, faces significant challenges due to the accumulation of organic waste, which can negatively impact health and the environment. Therefore, systematic interventions are necessary to empower students in waste management using efficient and eco-friendly methods, such as Takakura composting. This community service initiative aims to enhance students' knowledge and skills in organic waste management through education, training, and mentoring, supported by pre- and post-tests to evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention. The program involved 41 participants aged 12-19, primarily junior high school students. The results demonstrated a significant increase in knowledge following the intervention, with 85.4% of participants classified as having moderate knowledge before the education, and 100% achieving a good level of knowledge after the training. The Wilcoxon test yielded a p-value of 0.00, indicating a significant impact of the education and training provided. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that Takakura-based composting in boarding schools is crucial for maintaining environmental cleanliness and empowering students to adopt eco-friendly practices. Sustainable waste management in boarding school environments can be achieved through intensive education and training, engaging students as agents of change.

Abstract

Background: Sudden cardiac arrest is a medical emergency that requires immediate action in the form of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). The success of CPR depends heavily on the speed of response and the skills of healthcare workers, particularly nurses as the frontline of care. However, the reality in the field shows that many nurses experience delays in responding and are less than optimal in performing CPR. Code Blue simulation is a training method that can improve preparedness and clinical skills in emergency situations. Objective: To determine the effect of Code Blue simulation on the speed of response and CPR skills of nurses in inpatient wards. Methods: This study used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest approach without a control group. A total of 30 nurses were selected using purposive sampling. Measurements were taken before and after the Code Blue simulation intervention using a checklist for response speed and CPR skills based on the 2020 AHA guidelines. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. Results: There was a significant increase in response speed (p=0.000) and CPR skill scores (p=0.000) after participating in the simulation. The average response time decreased from 98.2 seconds to 72.5 seconds, while skills increased from 24.4 to 36.3 (maximum scale of 40). Conclusion: The Code Blue simulation was effective in improving nurses' response speed and CPR skills. This intervention is feasible for routine implementation as a strategy to improve the quality of emergency care in hospitals.

The BOD level in liquid waste in the morning is at a moderate level and in the afternoon it is at a heavy level. COD levels in Makassar liquid waste in the morning are at moderate levels and in the afternoon at heavy levels. TSS levels in liquid waste in the morning are at moderate levels and in the afternoon they are at heavy levels. The pH level in liquid waste meets the requirements. TEMPERATURE levels in liquid waste meet the requirements.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The general view on waste often considers it as something without value. Waste management through separation between organic and non-organic waste is very important to maintain the balance of the ecosystem. The ecobrick method is one creative effort in managing plastic waste into useful products, as well as reducing pollution and the risk of toxins. Pondok Tahfizh Daarul Furqon (Female Section) faces challenges in waste management. Lack of awareness and understanding of the importance of sorting and proper waste management has created less than ideal conditions. This community service activity aims to provide knowledge and skills in managing non-organic waste and implementing the ecobrick method, which is complemented by pre-tests and post-tests to measure the effectiveness of the intervention as an effort to turn waste into economic value. The implementation of this activity involves 40 participants aged 12-19 years. The results obtained indicate a significant improvement in the category scores following the intervention (post-test). The knowledge aspect increased from 25% to 87.5%, the attitude aspect rose from 30.0% to 32.5%, the behaviour aspect remained at 2.5%, and the parenting aspect improved from 77.5% to 82.5%. This increase in knowledge, attitude, and behavior requires a commitment to maintain the consistency of santri in waste management. The importance of monitoring and evaluation, as well as product innovation, including product development, should be considered so that economic value can be more meaningful. Suggestions for the future are to establish a waste bank or partner with community groups in the pondok environment.
