Abstract

The effectiveness of the system of public education in a country is one of the most important aspects of its development. The COVID-19 initiative affected the educational system previously. The education system in Indonesia, however, is utilizing the offline or non-network learning approach now that the COVID-19 pandemic conditions, particularly in Indonesia, have abated. The teaching and learning process that takes place in schools exposes pupils to issues that develop in the educational setting and are frequently experienced by students. The frequent occurrence of saturation and exhaustion during school activities is one example. The objective of this final project is to determine the level of saturation and fatigue in offline learning among students at ABC Elementary School and to propose improvements to minimize the levels of saturation and fatigue. The methods used for research are MBI-SS (Maslach Burnout Inventory-Student Survey) for the level of saturation and SOFI (Swedish Occupational Fatigue Inventory) for the level of fatigue. The research results from 75 students show that for the level of saturation, there are 49 students (65%) in the low category, 25 students (34%) in the moderate category, and 1 student (1%) in the high category. For the level of fatigue, there are 56 students (75%) in the moderate category, 19 students (25%) in the moderate category, and 0% in the high category. To saturation and fatigue, the school can engage in ice-breaking activities, inject humor during learning sessions, and provide additional nutrition such as pudding or similar items in the morning.

Abstract

CV Aurexell is an industry engaged in the food sector, namely bread. In the production process, several problems cause physical and mental workloads, where employees at dough-making, weighing, and molding workstations feel physically burdened because they have to work standing up for a day and mentally burdened because they have to meet production targets every day but there is a shortage of employees at the fermentation and baking, also cream filling workstations. To solve these problems, we must take workload measurements to find the optimal number of employees. Based on data processing using the FTE method, it is evident that the physical workload of all employees falls within the normal category, which ranges from 1 to 1.28, which means that the number of employees at CV Aurexell is optimal because the physical workload is normal. Based on data processing using the RSME method, it is evident that operators 7 and 9 have mental workloads of 85.33 and 83, respectively, classified as great effort. At the same time, other operators require rather much too considerable effort. The optimal number of workers in the RSME method is six people for the dough-making, weighing, and molding workstation, three for the fermentation and baking workstation, three for the cream-filling workstation, and thirteen for the packaging workstation.

Abstract

PT XYZ as a company engaged in manufacturing and maritime engineering, has a calibration laboratory with various potential hazard risks. Thus, risk control efforts are needed to minimize the negative impact on occupational safety and health (K3). This study aims to evaluate the potential risk of hazards in the Dimensional, Pressure, and Electrical Calibration Laboratory using the Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Determining Control (HIRADC) method at PT XYZ. The data used in this study are primary data conducted in three calibration laboratories at PT XYZ. The identification results show the existence of various potential risks such as skin irritation due to chemicals, health problems due to extreme conditions, and physical fatigue due to improper work positions. Based on the analysis, it was found that the risk level of the electrical calibration laboratory was classified as high risk with 67%, the pressure calibration laboratory was classified as moderate risk with 60%, and the dimensional calibration laboratory was classified as moderate risk with 60% before control. After the implementation of risk control through the control hierarchy, the risk level in several laboratories decreased to low or moderate. The results of this study indicate that the HIRADC method is effective in identifying and controlling hazard risks, as well as the importance of implementing appropriate control measures to increase the risk level.
