Abstract

The development of the Islamic financial industry which includes banking, insurance and pawnshops is basically a very long historical process. Perum Pegadaian Syariah, as one of the state-owned enterprises, is faced with the challenge of competing and improving efficiency in the growing Islamic financial industry. This study aims to measure the operational efficiency of Islamic Pawnshops in East Java Province using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method. This study identifies the relative efficiency of each Pawnshop unit from several branches of Pegadaian Syariah, including Joko Tole, Babakan, Sidokare, Mayjend Sungkono, and Blauran. The results showed that four branches were efficient with a relative efficiency value of 1, while Sidokare branch showed inefficiency with a value of 0.908. Improvement recommendations for Sidokare branch include reducing service time, operating costs, and increasing the number of customers and collateral. This research is expected to guide Perum Pegadaian Syariah in contributing to improving efficiency and competitiveness in an increasingly competitive market.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the standard time required in one work cycle of U-DITCH concrete production so that it can meet and increase production targets and identify things that can be improved to increase operational efficiency and productivity. This study uses a work sampling method with calculations of cycle time, normal time, and standard time. Sampling of work using random numbers and field observations was carried out for 14 days. Based on the data processing that has been done, it can be seen that it is 73%, as well as a cycle time of 8.21 minutes/ Unit and normal time with an adjustment level of 1.5933 gets a time of 13.08 minutes/ Unit. The number of productive minutes is 5,518.8 minutes with the number of outputs that have been completed for 14 days of 672 Units. The standard time with a slack factor of 46% gets a result of 683.31 hours/ Unit and a standard output of 73 Units is obtained for 1 day.

Abstract

The growth of the manufacturing industry not only has a positive impact on national income but also has a negative impact on environmental issues due to industrial waste from the production process. PT. ABC is a manufacturing company engaged in the production of nuts and bolts. In the production process, there are problems such as a large amount of unprocessed waste and material wastage due to cutting leftovers, which can cause environmental problems. This research aims to determine the value of green manufacturing performance and provide improvement recommendations based on the measurement results for poor indicators so that the company can continue to develop its business well. To measure green manufacturing performance, this research uses the Green SCOR model and the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) weighting method. The calculation results show that the company's final performance value is 67.53, indicating that the company falls into the yellow category, which means it is quite satisfactory. However, four out of twelve KPI indicators studied require improvement. The indicators that need improvement are yield, recyclable waste, waste disposition, and waste produced.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) as an effort to increase effectiveness and prevent breakdowns on Multi Pack Machines at PT PCI. During the observation process, it was found that the downtime duration was still quite high and affected the smooth production. Based on the recapitulation results using Microsoft Excel, the total downtime on the Multi Pack Machine PL 2 reached 555 minutes, which indicates the need for an evaluation of the current maintenance pattern. Through the implementation of TPM pillars, specifically Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, and Quality Maintenance, this study highlights the importance of operator and maintenance team involvement in maintaining stable machine conditions. Downtime data was then analyzed using Excel to identify dominant causes through Pareto diagrams and root cause analysis. The results showed that several main factors causing disruptions could be clearly mapped so that corrective actions could be directed more precisely. The implementation of TPM was proven to be able to reduce the potential for recurrent damage and contribute to increasing the machine's OEE value.
