Abstract

Abstract: Pandemi Covid-19 mengharuskan pembelajaran dilakukan secara daring dari rumah sebagai salah satu upaya memutuskan penyebaran Covid-19. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring mengakibatkan beberapa masalah, antara lain kurangnya motivasi dan minat belajar peserta didik serta ketidaksiapan orang tua dalam membimbing anaknya belajar di rumah. Akibatnya, peserta didik tidak mendapatkan pendampingan belajar secara maksimal sehingga berpengaruh kepada tujuan pembelajaran. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, maka dilaksanakan kegiatan pendampingan belajar di Desa Maja Baru Kecamatan Maja untuk membantu anak-anak dan orang tua yang mengalami kesulitan selama melaksanakan pembelajaran daring. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research. Bentuk pendampingan yang dilakukan yaitu dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran luring di salah satu rumah masyarakat secara bergiliran (shift) yang terdiri atas dua sesi, yaitu sesi pagi dan sore. Abstract

Several studies show that the learning process with a metacognitive approach helps students develop their reflective thinking skills. One of the IMPROVE syntaxes is asking metacognitive questions. This study aims to describe the influence of the IMPROVE learning model on students' mathematical reflective thinking abilities. For this reason, this study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive analysis techniques after comparing two groups of data according to the non-equivalent control group design. The study involved several students of class X IPA at MAN 2 Serang City as a population consisting of two study groups as samples. The data collection technique uses the Mathematical Reflective Thinking Ability Test (KBRM) instrument which contains six indicators. The application of the IMPROVE learning model, based on the results of the study, was proven to have a positive and significant influence on increasing students' mathematical reflective thinking skills. Also, the mathematical reflective thinking ability of students who apply the IMPROVE learning model is in the fairly good category, while the mathematical reflective thinking ability of students who apply ordinary learning is in the poor category. The achievement of each indicator of students' mathematical reflective thinking skills who apply IMPROVE learning is in the good category on 2 question indicators, fairly good category on 2 question indicators and not a good category on 2 question indicators out of a total of 6 indicators of mathematical reflective thinking ability questions

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to duscribe the factors of the low of social science learning outcomes History subject in V class in SDN Panancangan 4 Kota Serang. The materials of this study is descriptive qualitative methods, the Data collectid by observation, interviews, documentation, and student learning outcomes. Students who have low learning outcomes on average as much as 92% of students with the types of difficulties include: lack of student understanding in historical material, student lack of active in asking, then students' inability to remember material such as (mentioning names, years of administration and inheritance), and inappropriate learning strategies. The results of the study shows that generally of the low social studies learning outcomes classified into two factors that is internal and external factors, namely the factors found in students such as psychological factors in learning, motivation and concentration of learning. In addition, there are factors that exist outside of the student's self or external factors, such as the quality of parentid advisionary learning outside of school. Although the learning outcomes obtained by students are more dependent on the students themselves, it is hoped that the instructors will play a role in enhancing them, namely directing students to be able to prepare themselves physically and mentally, increase student learning concentration, give students motivation to learn, teach them strategies - learning strategies, how to be able to learn according to each style, study thoroughly, and get used to sharing with each other. Keywords: Low student learning outcomes, Material history, Social Studie

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengembangkan modul dengan pendekatan budaya lokal Banten untuk kelas VI Tema 4 Globalisasi Subtema 1 Globalisasi di Sekitarku. Materi yang digunakan pada modul adalah materi pada subtema 1 Globalisasi di sekitarku dengan menyisipkan unsur budaya lokal Banten di dalamnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian Research and Development (R&D) model 4-D (Four D Models), terdiri dari 4 tahapan menurut Thiagarajan meliputi tahap pendefinisian (define), kemudian perancangan (design), lalu pengembangan (develop) dan penyebaran (disseminate). Memperlihatkan hasil penelitian yaitu modul termasuk dalam kategori valid dalam perhitungan rekapitulasi secara menyeluruh aspek dari ketiga validator mendapatkan rata-rata nilai skor 4,8 dan IRR memperoleh skor 80%. Skor tersebut melebihi skor minimal yaitu 75% sesuai kriteria kelayakan produk. Hasil uji coba data n-gain semua siswa mendapat nilai rata-rata 0,97 dan termasuk kriteria yang tinggi, memperlihatkan produk efektif untuk digunakan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh penerapan media diorama terhadap siswa dalam memahami materi struktur dan fungsi bagian pada tumbuhan. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan rancangan pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini adalah dua kelompok siswa yang berjumlah 21 dan 20 orang siswa. Kedua kelompok ini diberikan perlakuan yang berbeda. Tes objektif berupa pilihan ganda dengan satu jawaban benar digunakan sebagai salah satu teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes objektif. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis secara komparatif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hasil belajar perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua kelompok. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media diorama terhadap pemahaman siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA

Abstract

Pemanfaatan media yang sesuai dengan preferensi siswa, yang ditandai dengan keterlibatan dan stimulasi, memiliki implikasi signifikan bagi pengembangan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa, yang berpotensi memengaruhi kelangsungan keterampilan berpikir tingkat rendah di antara siswa. Dalam konteks pembelajaran tematik, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan dan menghasilkan Crossword Puzzle Gambar sebagai bentuk media untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Metode penelitian dan pengembangan menggunakan desain pengembangan model ADDIE. Kuesioner kelayakan produk digunakan untuk memverifikasi validitas produk dan desain pembelajaran, serta kuesioner keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas produk. Dengan skor IRR sebesar 90%, temuan menunjukkan bahwa nilai kelayakan produk berada dalam kisaran sangat layak. Media Crossword Puzzle Gambar secara efektif meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa seperti yang dibuktikan dengan skor rata-rata 3,75 dan TCR sebesar 93,75% pada tes kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi

Abstract

One of the problems that often arises is the difficulty of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers in conveying science concepts through life phenomena. The purpose of this study was to determine the pattern of learning by using the circulatory bottle as an aid to improve student learning outcomes. This research method uses descriptive qualitative and analytical techniques referring to the concept of Miles & Huberman with the research subject involving teachers, madrasah principals, and students of class V (five) MI Nurul Hasanah Sukaharja, totaling 23 students. The results of this study First, the learning pattern using the circulatory bottle props gave good results. Students look more active and enthusiastic than before. And make it easier for teachers to convey material to students because the material for the circulatory system is abstract material. Second, student learning outcomes show that there are differences in student learning outcomes between those who use teaching aids and those who do not. When the learning process takes place, students look enthusiastic and focus on paying attention to the teacher who is delivering the material. The circulatory bottle props can encourage students' creativity in asking questions, answering, justifying, and refuting inaccurate answers when discussing.

Abstract

Educators and instructors need to prepare various elements necessary for developing teaching materials by incorporating AI to create engaging, effective, and efficient learning. This research aims to describe the requirements in developing AI-based teaching materials that align with the needs of students and the instructional approaches utilized. The subjects involved in this study are students from the Faculty of Education and Arabic Language lecturers. A qualitative approach is employed to describe the research objectives. The study reveals that students' understanding of Arabic language learning falls within the moderate category; instructors develop AI-based teaching materials to assist students in comprehending the subject matter, concretizing abstract concepts, supplementing reading materials or references, creating an engaging learning environment, and enhancing interaction during the learning process. Constraints in implementing AI-based teaching materials can be categorized into physical and non-physical resources; however, the supporting facilities and infrastructure for implementing AI-based teaching materials are deemed sufficient.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ reading comprehension skills using the text summarization technique in the 5th grade of SDN Kasunyatan. The subjects of this classroom action research (CAR) involved forty students. The data was collected using learning observation, reading comprehension tests, and documentation. The analysis of these data uses both qualitative and quantitative descriptive approaches. This study uses a text summarization technique as an action. The text summarization technique has four syntaxes. First is monitoring, which means that students read the text until they understand the reading material. Next is trimming down to take keywords from each paragraph, then combining these keywords and creating mind mapping. The last is calling; it means that students rewrite all things they remember about the reading text. This research shows that the text summarization techniques improved students’ reading comprehension skills, indicating an increase for each indicator.
