Abstract

Background of Study: Internship programs are essential in connecting academic knowledge with real-world work experience. However, conventional monitoring systems used during internships often lack efficiency and transparency, especially in public institutions like BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Medan Kota. Aims and Scope of Paper: This study aims to design and implement a web-based monitoring system to evaluate the performance of internship students at BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Medan Kota. The system is expected to streamline documentation, reporting, and assessment processes during the internship period. Methods: A qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach was used. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with mentors and students, and documentation analysis. The system was developed using Laravel, Tailwind CSS, and MySQL, then tested on a limited group of users. Result: The results showed that the system improved performance tracking, enhanced documentation of student tasks, and facilitated real-time evaluations. Users reported high satisfaction with the system's usability and clarity. Automatic score recap features and digital proof uploads made evaluation more objective and structured. Conclusion: The web-based monitoring platform has positively impacted the supervision and evaluation process of intern students. It offers a scalable solution for internship performance evaluation and has the potential to be applied in similar organizational contexts with further system enhancements.

Abstract

Kekerasan seksual merupakan salah satu masalah sosial yang komplek dan terus meningkat, khususnya dilingkungan masyarakat dan dunia pendidikan. Rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat mengenai berbagai bentuk cara, pencegahan, regulasi hukum, serta mekanisme dari penanganan kekerasan seksual ini menjadi salah satu faktor utama tingginya kasus yang tidak dilaporkan. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, kesadaran, serta kemampuan masyarakat dan civitas akademika dalam mencegah dan menangani kekerasan seksual, khususnya di Kota Medan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi seminar, penyuluhan, diskusi interaktif serta pelatihan berbasis studi kasus. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai konsep kekerasan seksual, langkah pencegahan, prosedur pelaporan, regulasi hukum yang diterapkan dan penanganannya. Dengan demikian, edukasi yang berkelanjutan sangat diperlukan guna menciptakan lingkungan yang aman dan bebas dari kekerasan seksual

Abstract

Background of Study:Librarian attitudes significantly influence user satisfaction and engagement in library services. Positive interaction between librarians and users fosters a welcoming environment and enhances service effectiveness. Aims and Scope of Paper:This research aims to explore both the attitudes of librarians in providing services and users’ perceptions of those attitudes at the Tangerang Regency Library and Archives Office. Methods:A qualitative descriptive approach was employed. Data were collected through observation and interviews with three library users selected via purposive sampling. The data analysis followed three steps: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Result:Findings indicate that the average number of visitors to the Tangerang Regency Library and Archives Office from 2022 to 2023 was approximately 136,270. Users generally perceive librarians as friendly and kind. However, users often need to initiate interaction before receiving assistance, indicating a lack of proactive service. This shows that while the overall demeanor of librarians is positive, there remains a gap in attentiveness and sensitivity to user needs. Conclusion:Although librarians are perceived positively in terms of friendliness, service delivery can be improved by fostering a more proactive and responsive approach to user needs. These findings highlight the importance of continuous professional development for librarians to enhance user experience.
