Abstract

Analog Switch Off or ASO is a process of stopping analog broadcasts from switching to digital television broadcasts. According to the decision of the government authority, ready or not, the public must switch to digital television, even though the exposure to information and the level of knowledge about digital television is low. Through the Theory of Diffusion of innovation by Everett M. Rogers, attempts to analyze the factors of society switching to Digital Television. This study used a quantitative method with a questionnaire to the Jatihurip Village community. The aim of this research is to find out the differences in demographic profiles between users and non-users of Digital Television, the use of media as a communication channel, and the factors of switching to Digital Television. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis, with the test results showing that innovation opportunities, the number of campaigns, and following technology have a positive and significant effect on the decision to switch to Digital Television for the people of Jatihurip Village, Sumedang Utara District. The Innovation Opportunity factor greatly influences the decision to switch to digital television for the people of Jatihurip Village, Sumedang Utara District.

Abstract

DI/TII is a movement that wants to establish an Islamic State of Indonesia. Led by S.M Kartosuwirjo. The process of spreading gradually for dozens of years in West Java. S.M Kartosuwirjo is a close relative of Ir. Soekarno and still in the same university with HOS Tjokroaminoto. NII was established around August 7, 1949, in the Cisayong area, Tasikmalaya. Coinciding with the second Dutch military aggression. At that time, there was disappointment on the part of Kartosuwirjo because Islam was not the basis of the state. The purpose of this study is to see the resistance of the Tasikmalaya people to DI/TII power. Qualitative methods with a historical approach were used to collect all data. The findings of this study succeeded in obtaining data on organizations that participated in the fight against DI/TII, namely: Village Security Organizations (OKD), Mandatory Training Organizations (WALA), People's Defense Organizations (OPR) and Village Pagers (PD). In addition, this research was also able to obtain information about the story of the resistance against DI/TII from sources who are still alive today. The implications of this research can be a historical reference for the struggle of the Indonesian people for today's young generation.

Abstract

The classification code applied to television programs is certainly not just a small code that is displayed during the airing process. This code has the meaning to classify programs by age category. The classification code of television programs is intended so that viewers can adjust the viewing to age categories and types of shows that are in accordance with social morals. Catatan Si Bocil Program is a problem to analyze about the process of receiving codes to airing events. Another institution tasked with this classification code is the Film Censorship Board as well as the regulations drafted as a provision of broadcasting guidelines. The purpose of this study is intended to convey how important classification codes are on television programs. The method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, so that the data used is based on the process of observation, interviews, literature studies and documentation. This study found the process of giving classification codes and impressions that have been given classification codes based on the results of assessments conducted by the Film Censorship Institute. The implications of this research can be a reference for television stations in making programs.

Abstract

Synchronization between visual animation and music has been widely known as mickey-mousing. Notable old animation films have used this particular technique to reinforce action with a musical flourish and convey a certain meaning. Furthermore, animation music is commonly based on popular music, such as The Hungarian Rhapsody No.2 in Rhapsody Rabbit. The music is utilized not just as a scoring aspect but to dictate every Bugs Bunny's action when playing the piano. This research aims to study the implementation of the mickey-mousing technique in Rhapsody Rabbit film. It uses a qualitative content analysis approach to analyze visual and aural aspects—primary data is sourced from the Rhapsody Rabbit film and the Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 music sheet. Secondary data is collected from literature studies related to the topic. Data collection is conducted through observation, interview, and documentation study. The data is analyzed using Klaus Krippendorf's content analysis technique which divided into six steps. The result of this study is that the mickey-mousing technique is implemented through a combination of a fast pace of visual and musical play altogether. Animation adapts to several parts of the musical composition so that articulation, illustration, and accentuation occur as a function of the mickey-mousing technique.

Abstract

The research of Cadenza "Clarinet Concerto No. 3 in Bb – Allegro Moderato” by Carl Philipp Stamitz by Jae Hee Choi is motivated by the clarinet solo performance of a clarinetist performing the cadenza part of this concerto. The focus of this research is to find out the interpretation and technique of Jae Hee Choi's clarinet playing by analyzing the cadenza part through the interpretation and technique of playing the clarinet to be able to have a good impact in interpreting an interpretation of playing music, especially concertos in the baroque era. The method used in this research is a descriptive research method with three stages of analysis. The first stage is audio-visual analysis. The second stage rewrites the notation with the Sibelius application. The third step is to analyze the rewritten notes and make a comparison between the cadenza played by Jae Hee Choi and the original cadenza in this concerto. This research found two very important things namely; clarinet interpretation and technique. Interpretation includes interpretation of expression, rhythm, melody, and dynamics. The clarinet playing technique includes blowing techniques and fingering techniques.

Abstract

Perubahan dan perkembangan yang terjadi di dalam seni pertunjukan seni Tarling khsusunya di Cirebon menarik untuk di teliti dan ditulis, karena hanya dalam kurun waktu kurang dari satu abad seni Tarling telah mengalami perubahan penggunaan nama hingga struktur pertunjukannya. Dewasa ini, media infromasi dan komunikasi berbasi digital dan internet seperti aplikasi media sosial seperti Youtube merupakan wahana untuk melakukan publikasi dan dokumentasi pelestarian seni Tarling melalui penggunaan video. Penelitian ini melibatkan khalayak masyarakat penikmat dan pelaku Seni Tarling di Cirebon. Metode yang digunakan dala penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif, dengan pendekatan deskriptif analitik. Dalam memperoleh data peneliti  melakukan observasi, wawancara dan studi literatur dengan terjun secara langsung ke masyarakat tarling Cirebon melihat dan merasakan. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa sejak dulu pelaku seni tarling selalu mengikuti perubahan zaman, seni tarling sangat terbuka dengan segala perubahan budaya. Pada saat ini, seniman tarling ikut arus perkembangan teknologi media dengan membuat konten tarling melalui chanel youtube. Terdapat upaya-upaya mengenalkan music tarling melalui media komunikasi berbasis flatform, terutama oleh generasi muda. Implikasi penelitian ini dapat menjadi pengetahuan dan informasi kongkret tentang keberadaan seni tarling di era teknologi digital.

Abstract

Surakarta (Solo), yang dilegitimasikan sebagai kota keroncong, memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam perkembangan dan pelestarian musik keroncong di Indonesia. Dengan berbagai hegemoni yang dilakukan, di tengah maraknya kreasi dan inovasi di era serba modern, masyarakat keroncong Solo masih mempertahankan sajian musik keroncong yang menjunjung tinggi nilai estetika keroncong gaya Solo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan signifikansi estetika keroncong gaya Solo bagi para pelaku maupun penikmat musik keroncong. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi, dan triangulasi untuk menguji keabsahan data. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini yaitu terkait puncak estetika keroncong gaya Solo dan signifikansinya. Untuk mencapai puncak estetika keroncong gaya Solo, terdapat berbagai unsur yang membangun dan aturan-aturan tertentu. Signifikansi utama dari sajian musik keroncong gaya Solo yang telah mencapai puncak estetikanya yakni disebut dengan istilah sumeleh/semeleh. Istilah ini diidentifikasi dalam beberapa sub-bahasan, di antaranya sumeleh dalam kebahasaan dan makna, sumeleh sebagai emosi yang mempengaruhi perilaku, serta sumeleh sebagai pengalaman estetis (estesis) yang berkaitan dengan subjek, objek, dan nilai estetis. Sumeleh digambarkan oleh masyarakat keroncong Solo sebagai suatu keadaan/suasana hati yang tenteram dan tenang. Manfaat penelitian ini dapat menjadi rujukan bagi pelaku maupun penikmat musik keroncong. Kata kunci : Sumeleh, Signifikansi Estetika Keroncong, Keroncong Gaya Solo

Abstract

Gamolan Pekhing merupakan salah satu alat musik khas Lampung yang terbuat dari bambu dan dikenal juga dengan sebutan 'cetik' oleh masyarakat Lampung. Sebagai salah satu wujud kebudayaan lisan turun-temurun masyarakat, Gamolan Pekhing dimainkan saat acara adat dan saat ini sering dikolaborasikan dengan alat musik lain. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bahan baku, proses dan hasil dari pembuatan Gamolan Pekhing Lampung Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang berlokasi di Way Empulu Ulu, Kabupaten Lampung Barat dan Zairi sebagai narasumber utama. Ditemukan bahwa Gamolan Pekhing buatan Zairi ini menggunakan jenis bambu betung dan hijau sebagai bahan baku utama serta menggunakan tali nilon. Proses pembuatan meliputi penjemuran, pemotongan, penghalusan, pengecatan, pelarasan dan perakitan. Hasil dari pembuatan Gamolan Pekhing yang terdiri dari tujuh bilah nada dengan laras Gimol. Penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai standarisasi bagi masyarakat terutama perakit Gamolan Pekhing yang ada di Lampung Barat.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengungkap rancangan pembuatan produk, mengungkap proses pembuatan produk, dan mengungkap hasil implementasi produk yang dilatihkan pada pelatihan berkreasi keroncong bagi pendidik musik. Alasan dilaksanakannya penelitian ini yakni sebagai alternatif solusi berkreasi musik keroncong dalam kondisi pandemi, sekaligus memanfaatkan sarana berupa media berbasis digital khususnya pada penggunaan FL Studio Mobile. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, data diperoleh dari observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Ditemukan bahwa keseluruhan dari perancangan, proses pembuatan, dan hasil implementasi produk dapat selaras dengan tujuan. Rancangan dari pembuatan produk itu ialah sebuah gagasan berupa potongan-potongan iringan musik Keroncong Tugu. Proses dari pembuatan produk tersebut yaitu merekam instrumen dengan menggunakan pemanfaatan DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). Hasil implementasi produk itu diterapkan kepada 11 peserta pelatihan, yakni mereka yang berprofesi sebagai pendidik musik dari lokasi yang berbeda-beda. Selain itu para pendidik musik juga telah dibekali oleh narasumber yang ahli dalam bidangnya, dan mereka mumpuni berkreasi keroncong menggunakan media berbasis digital. Sebagian besar peserta pelatihan menguasai hasil dari produk pembuatan potongan audio Keroncong Tugu. Hanya ada beberapa pendidik musik yang mengalami kendala karena faktor usia dan ukuran layar pada gawai yang tidak sebesar komputer.Kata Kunci: Media, Digital Audio Workstation, Pelatihan, Keroncong Tugu.

Abstract

This study discusses the representation of locality values in CNN Indonesia's Inside Jawa Barat program. The presence of Sistem Siaran Jaringan (SSJ) implementation rules in Undang-Undang No. 32 of 2002 opens up opportunities for the establishment of local television stations in Indonesia to create programs that raise local issues. Inside Jawa Barat is a show that tries to present local genius in an interesting manner, becoming a significant entity in providing dynamics for the existence of local television in Indonesia. This study aims to determine the representation of locality values in the Inside Jawa Barat program and how the program implements government regulations by creating shows that focus on local issues. Analytical descriptive qualitative research methods, including observation, documentation, literature studies, and semiotic concepts, were used in collecting all research data, with episode 30 of the Inside Jawa Barat program selected as the research subject. The results showed that Inside Jawa Barat succeeded in portraying the values of locality through the presentation of programs that highlight the culture, traditions, and lives of the people of West Java. Analysis using John Fiske's semiotic theory reveals that signs in the Inside Jawa Barat program create an understanding of reality, representation, and ideology as the embodiment of locality values represented by television programs. The conclusion of this study shows that the Inside Jawa Barat program not only complies with government regulations but also presents content about local values. The implications of this research can serve as a reference for the television industry to develop programs that comply with government regulations and highlight the wealth of local values.
