Abstract

Abstract

Understanding how tourists prioritize competing destination attributes is critical for strengthening destination competitiveness and informing sustainable tourism development. However, limited empirical research has examined how local tourists trade off and prioritize destination attributes in their destination choices, particularly in Lombok, Indonesia. This study examines local tourists’ preferences and assesses the relative importance of destination attributes in their destination choice. A quantitative survey was conducted among local tourists visiting destinations across Lombok, and the data were analyzed using conjoint analysis. Five destination attributes were examined: accessibility, tourist attractions, amenities, ancillary services, and price. The findings indicate that accessibility is the most important destination attribute, followed by price, tourist attractions, amenities, and ancillary services. The conjoint model demonstrated statistically significant agreement between observed and estimated preferences, indicating satisfactory predictive validity. At the attribute level, tourists preferred good road conditions, affordable prices, and destinations offering natural scenery and cultural diversity. These findings highlight accessibility, affordability, and natural and cultural attractions as priority areas for strengthening Lombok’s destination competitiveness and provide practical guidance for destination managers and tourism stakeholders in developing strategies aligned with local tourists’ preferences.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Digital Marketing, Word of Mouth, Brand Trust, and Digital Financial Literacy on the decision to use the DANA e-wallet among Management students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram. The research employs an associative quantitative approach with a sample of 84 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS software. The results indicate that Digital Marketing, Brand Trust, and Digital Financial Literacy significantly affect the decision to use the DANA e-wallet. Digital Marketing and Brand Trust have positive effects, while Digital Financial Literacy shows a significant negative effect, suggesting that users with higher literacy tend to be more selective in using the application. Meanwhile, Word of Mouth has no significant impact on the usage decision. This study recommends that e-wallet managers enhance educational digital marketing strategies and build consumer trust, while also addressing digital financial literacy aspects to support prudent usage decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of firm size, profitability, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) on the implementation of good corporate governance (GCG) in mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2020–2023. The method used is a quantitative approach with secondary data analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that only the Firm Size variable has a significant effect on GCG, but with a negative direction. Meanwhile, the variables of profitability and CSR did not have a significant effect on the implementation of GCG. These findings indicate that the internal factors studied do not fully explain the variation in GCG implementation in the mining sector

Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of an integrated entrepreneurship education model that combines theoretical and practical approaches within a continuous learning system. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving 30 students from the Faculty of Economics, University of Mataram, who attended the Entrepreneurship course. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation of student business projects, and were analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana interactive model with thematic analysis techniques. The results indicate that the implementation of the integrated model significantly improved students’ entrepreneurial skills by 44%, particularly in creativity, decision-making, and risk management. Furthermore, students demonstrated higher motivation and confidence to engage in entrepreneurial activities after undergoing reflection sessions and mentorship with business practitioners. The integration of theoretical and practical learning proved effective in developing an entrepreneurial mindset that is adaptive, action-oriented, and collaborative. This study concludes that the integrated entrepreneurship education model represents an innovative and contextually relevant approach to modern higher education, and can be replicated across universities to strengthen experiential-based entrepreneurship education and promote sustainable entrepreneurial behavior among students
