Abstract

The welding process on the AM65511000 type radiator product at PT TRSS in the Curug area is a heavy job that is still done manually. Improper posture and repeated acceptance of static loads for a long period can result in operator fatigue, thereby reducing productivity. The analysis was carried out using Pareto diagrams and fishbone diagrams. Ergonomics analysis with the REBA method is one method to evaluate the overall posture and work attitude of workers. In this study, an analysis of the REBA method was carried out on workers in the welding process section on the AM65511000 type radiator product to determine the risks faced by workers and the improvements that could be proposed. The research was conducted referring to the REBA worksheet by Hignett and McAtamney. From the studies that have been carried out, it was found that workers have a moderate risk with a value of 5 which means that an immediate investigation and implementation is needed in the form of changes in work posture or work environment. The highest risk value was obtained in assessing the bent body posture when moving the radiator. Suggestions that can be made include lowering the level of the holder, optimizing the position of the torso and weight point, and making a table that can be adjusted in height and tilted angle.

Abstract

The development of the business world continues to increase along with the large number of requests for products needed, so it is important for companies to create optimal planning strategies, both production planning and demand planning, so that companies are able to achieve their targeted goals. To achieve company goals, one of the company's activities is to carry out forecasting related to the number of sales or consumer demand for the goods or services produced. PT. XYZ is a developing company whose production results are superior and certified educational toys for children. The analysis used in forecasting is a single 2 period and 3 period moving average method as well as a weighted moving average with weightings of 50,20,30 and 50,25,25. The aim of this research is, firstly, to find out the sales forecasting of playgo type children's educational toys and secondly to find out the most accurate sales forecasting method. The research results show that the method with the smallest error value is the Weight Moving Average method with weightings of 50, 20, 30, where the Mean Absolute Error (MAE) value is 570, the Mean Square Error (MSE) is 447,036, and the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 1.97%.

Abstract

This study investigates how the Sinar Mutiara SMM in the Karang Serang VillageĀ  uses the Blocplan to create a working layout. The aim is to improve operational efficiency by optimizing the configuration of working components such as machines and equipment. The Blocplan method is used to analyze data collected from SMEs through observations and interviews. Research results show that using the Blocplan effectively reduces material distances and production time, and also improves space usage. It is hoped that this implementation will be an example for other SMEs to improve efficiency and productivity. In addition, research finds problems such as adaptation to change and resource constraints. For successful implementation in the future, this issue needs to be addressed.

Abstract

This article explains a community service activity in the form of training for creating creative learning content using Canva to improve the quality of education through the utilization of educational technology. The activity used a socialization method covering account creation, content creation, and content presentation via Canva. This was followed by a discussion method involving a Q&A session with participants who were school teachers. The activity took place at SMAN 16 in Tangerang Regency. This community service is expected to enhance teachers' abilities to create effective and creative learning materials, thereby aiding students' understanding during the teaching and learning process at school.

Abstract

Background: Pemahaman mengenai Supply Chain Management (SCM) umumnya diperoleh di jenjang pendidikan tinggi atau dalam dunia industri. Namun, konsep dasar SCM sebenarnya dapat dikenalkan sejak dini untuk membentuk pemahaman anak tentang proses distribusi barang. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan memperkenalkan konsep SCM kepada siswa sekolah dasar melalui pendekatan edukatif yang menyenangkan, yaitu metode pembelajaran berbasis cerita berjudul Perjalanan Nasi. Cerita ini menggambarkan alur perjalanan nasi mulai dari produksi di sawah hingga ke meja makan. Metode: Siswa dilibatkan secara aktif melalui diskusi dan permainan interaktif guna menanamkan pemahaman terhadap konsep rantai pasok. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan membandingkan hasil kuisioner dan observasi sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan. Hasil: Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman siswa. Anak-anak lebih mudah mengingat tahapan-tahapan SCM berkat media cerita yang menarik dan penyampaian yang sederhana. Interaksi yang terjadi selama kegiatan juga terbukti meningkatkan antusiasme mereka untuk belajar lebih lanjut tentang proses distribusi barang dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kesimpulan: Dengan demikian, pendekatan cerita interaktif terbukti efektif dalam menyampaikan konsep dasar SCM kepada anak usia sekolah dasar. Metode ini dapat menjadi alternatif edukatif yang relevan dan aplikatif untuk mengenalkan konsep logistik secara kreatif dan menyenangkan.

Abstract

Implementasi teknologi bersih dan pengurangan limbah merupakan konsep pengelolaan lingkungan yang dapat diterapkan pada berbagai jenis industri dalam rangka pengelolaan lingkungan. Produksi bersih menawarkan pemecahan yang paling baik dalam mereduksi dampak lingkungan dan efisensi dalam segi ekonomis. Produksi bersih dapat diterapkan di berbagai level industri termasuk Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM). UMKM makanan halal dipilih sebagai objek penelitian karena sejalan dengan kewajiban sertifikasi halal untuk produk makanan, minuman dan bahan tambahan makanan. Pengukuran kesiapan teknologi untuk implementasi produksi dilakukan dengan metode Technology Readyness Index (TRI). Kriteria yang dinilai yaitu Optimism, Innovativeness, Discomfort, dan Insecurity. Tahapan penelitian adalah identifikasi teknologi, pengumpulan data, evaluasi kesiapan teknologi, dan analisis hasil. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesiapan teknologi UMKM makananĀ  halal untuk tercapainya produksi bersih, khususnya teknologi pengolahan sampah. Dari perhitungan bobot, diketahui bahwa tingkat kesiapan penerapan teknologi produksi bersih masih rendah yaitu sebesar 0, 165 dan masih perlu dilakukan upaya perbaikan dan peningkatan.

Abstract

This research investigates the impact of implementing the Milk Run method in the plastics industry supply chain, focusing on PT RPI. By reducing the distance by 48 km per day, equivalent to 1,200 km in one month of deliveries, the results are significant in terms of logistics efficiency, cost savings, and reduced carbon emissions. Logistics are improved with more connected travel patterns, allowing trucks to combine pickups or deliveries from multiple sources in a single trip. Distance reduction strengthens transportation cost efficiency by reducing fuel consumption and vehicle maintenance costs. Assuming a fuel consumption rate of 7 km per liter and carbon emissions of 2.68 kg CO2 per liter, a distance reduction of 1,200 km results in a substantial reduction in carbon emissions. This study provides a foundation for future research, including route and scheduling optimization, in-depth environmental impact analysis, and application of the Milk Run to other industries. The results provide a complete picture of the effectiveness of the Milk Run in the context of the plastics industry, highlighting operational excellence, economic impact and the company's commitment to sustainability
