Abstract

This community service activity aims to raise awareness of healthy food consumption based on the B2SA (Diverse, Nutritious, Balanced, and Safe) principles through nutrition-sensitive outreach integrated with home-based farming practices. The target group was members of the Sri Rejeki Women's Farmers Group (KWT) in Giritirto Village, Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta Special Region. Implementation methods included participatory outreach, direct observation, semi-structured interviews, and the distribution of a Likert-based questionnaire. Evaluation results indicated that pest control and the selection of nutrient-rich plant varieties were significantly related to improved consumption patterns of nutritious and balanced foods. However, the correlation with indicators of diverse and safe food consumption remained weak. These findings underscore the importance of an intersectoral approach between agricultural technical education and nutrition education to encourage changes in consumption behavior at the household level. This activity also successfully strengthened women's roles in family food management through capacity building and active participation in the outreach program. Thus, nutrition-sensitive outreach, designed in a participatory and contextual manner, can be an effective empowerment strategy for building sustainable family food security.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan produk minuman herbal Seroja Milk Tea, memperoleh alternatif produk yang tepat dan analisis nilai tambah berdasarkan metode value engineering dalam pengembangan produk minuman herbal Seroja Milk Tea yang disukai konsumen. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari hingga bulan Juli 2023 untuk pengembangan produk di Perusahaan X, Kecamatan Kasihan, Kabupaten Bantul, Provinsi DIY. Pemilihan lokasi penelitian ini dilakukan secara purposive sampling, pengambilan sampel menggunakan non probability sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi literatur, eksperimen, kuesioner, dan wawancara, kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan skala likert untuk mengetahui tingkat kesukaan calon konsumen dan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode value engineering. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan proses pengembangan produk minuman herbal Seroja Milk Tea menggunakan metode value engineering dilakukan dengan tahap informasi, tahap kreatif, tahap analisis, tahap pengembangan, dan tahap rekomendasi. Alternatif produk yang terbaik berdasarkan metode value engineering dalam pengembangan produk minuman herbal Seroja Milk Tea yang disukai konsumen adalah alternatif 1 dengan perbandingan seduhan 3 meliputi 250 ml air, 25 g serai, 20 g jahe, 4 g teh, 24 g susu bubuk, 38 g vanilla, 14 g gula dan menggunakan jenis kemasan botol almond. Rasio nilai tambah dari pengembangan produk minuman herbal Seroja Milk Tea dengan metode value engineering tergolong sedang dengan persentase 40%.

Abstract

Research of development microfinance institutions (MFIs) Gapoktan in in the district of Gunung Kidul conducted from March to December 2014, aims to determine the factors that affect the sustainability of MFIs Gapoktan. The data used are primary data obtained from the Extension Workers, and MFIs Gapoktan. Secondary data from the Department of Agriculture, BP2KP and BPP. Sample MFIs Gapoktan. determined by purposive with a variety of conditions is less developed, undeveloped and developed worlds. Data were collected by interview and discussion. Analysis of data using multiple linear regression analysis. Factors that affect the sustainability of MFIs Gapoktan in Gunung Kidul consists of legality aspects, aspects of capability management, aspects of capital support, feasibility aspects, aspects of the characteristics of the MFI, and aspects of the real guidance of the business. Results of the analysis showed that all six of these factors effect no significant effect on the development of MFIs Gapoktan in Gunung Kidul.

Abstract

The study aimed to understand (1) time allocation of husband, wife and family members for working in melinjo chips business owned by its family (2) time allocation determinants for working in its business. Sample of this study are 39 families who run emping melinjo chips business in Mlati Sub-regency Sleman Regency. Data collected by interview methods. The results shows a different time allocation between male and female family worker by 1% degree of error. The wife allocate her time differently for working in its business and other businesses, statistically it is different significantly by 1% the degree of error. There is a significantly difference between husband's working-time allocation in melinjo chips business and others business The factors that influencing working-time allocation for wife are wife education, amount of melinjo chips production, amount of husband income and others businesses income. Factors that influencing the allocation of family members' working-time are: number of family worker and amount of melinjo chips production.

Abstract

CV Salama Nusantara merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi produk olahan tanaman biofarmaka salah satunya produk wedang uwuh dan memanfaatkan instagram sebagai media promosinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh promosi media sosial instagram terhadap minat beli produk wedang uwuh di CV Salama Nusantara. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari – Juni tahun 2023. Pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Populasi penelitian ini adalah pengikut akun instagram @wedanguwuh_salamanusantara dan jumlah sampel sebanyak 63 responden dengan menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa promosi media sosial instagram berpengaruh terhadap minat beli produk wedang uwuh. Hal ini di dukung dengan nilai signifikansi 0,00 < 0,05 dan t-hitung sebesar 7,410 > 2,000 atau lebih besar dari t-tabel yang artinya promosi media sosial berpengaruh secara positif terhadap minat beli dan hasil koefisien determinasi sebesar 4,47% artinya tingkat pengaruhnya sebesar 4,47%.

Abstract

This research aimed to investigate the characteristics of instant herbal beverages (i.e. taste, aroma, colors, ingredients, shelf life, and packaging) produced by Company X. In addition, the effects of its characteristics on the Company X customers' decisions to buy the product in Special Region of Yogyakarta was also studied. The study used the statistics descriptive method. The data were then collected using questionnaires. The total sample of this research was 40 people. They were selected using a convenience sampling technique who live in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The data were analyzed using the multiple linear regression method. The analysis results showed that the taste of instant herbal beverages produced by Company X was in the moderate category. Meanwhile, the aroma, color, ingredients, shelf life, packaging, and customers' decision were in a good category. Simultaneously, the taste, aroma, colors, ingredients, shelf life, and packaging of the product significantly affected the consumers' decisions to buy the product by 57.8%. Partially, the taste, colors, and shelf life significantly affected the consumers' buying decision of instant herbal beverages produced by Company X.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pola kemitraan antara petani lemon dengan pihak perusahaan dan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi keputusan petani untuk bermitra dengan perusahaan lemon di Banyumas Jawa Tengah. Penentuan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan petani untuk bermitra dengan perusahaan lemon di Banyumas Jawa Tengah menggunakan analisis regresi logistik. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Januari hingga bulan Juni 2023 berlokasi di Kabupaten Banyumas, Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan purposive sampling. Jenis data yang digunakan yaitu data primer dan data sekunder dengan teknik pengambilan data melalui wawancara dan kuesioner. Analisis Regresi logistik dilakukan terhadap 10 faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan petani bermitra antara lain umur, tingkat pendidikan, luasan lahan, pendapatan, pengalaman, sarana prasarana, permodalan, bantuan pemasaran, tenaga kerja, bimbingan. Hasil analisis regresi logistik menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan petani untuk bermitra dengan perusahaan lemon di Banyumas Jawa Tengah ada 3 faktor yaitu pengalaman, sarana prasarana, dan permodalan. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa pola kemitraan petani lemon dengan pihak perusahaan lemon di Banyumas termasuk kedalam pola dagang umum dan faktor yang berpengaruh kepada petani untuk bermitra dengan perusahaan lemon di Banyumas yaitu pada faktor pengalaman, sarana prasarana, dan permodalan.
