Abstract

Sekolah Menuju Kejuruan (SMK) adalah tempat dimana siswa memerlukan pembelajaran praktis dan keahlian teknis. Teknologi yang berkembang menantang para siswa untuk mempunyai keterampilan praktis sehingga dapat meminimalkan kesenjangan keterampilan diantara para siswa. Pengabdian CIM trainer kit Arm Robot yang kami susun bertujuan untuk membantu siswa-siswa SMK guna meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan mempersiapkan siswa dengan keterampilan yang relevan sebagai bekal untuk sukses di dunia kerja. Selain itu, dengan pengabdian ini dapat untuk melakukan simulasi, K3, pengurangan biaya, membantu pemecahan masalah, peningkatan keterlibatan dan kualitas pembelajaran untuk memperoleh keterampilan yang relevan dengan dunia kerja, meningkatkan peluang pekerjaan, dan membangun fondasi yang kuat untuk karir masa depan mereka. Pelatihan ini juga mendukung perkembangan ekonomi suatu negara dengan menyediakan tenaga kerja terampil yang dibutuhkan oleh industri.

Abstract

The PCB manufacturing process involves many processes, one of which is Surface finishes. One type of Surface finishes commonly used is Immersion tin. Immersion tin is a Surface finishes process that uses pure tin in the process. Immersion tin protects the copper from oxidation and makes the copper surface or pad easy to solder. The cleanliness of the pad and the thickness of the Immersion tin affect the quality of the PCB produced. Therefore, the researchers evaluated the quality of the results of the Immersion tin process using the DOE (Design of Experiment) method. Where this method can help in determining the optimal parameters. The variables used are Storage Time After Microetch and Immersion in tin Bath. In the research process it was found that PCBs underwent morphological changes at 23 hours after being stored in storage. This is caused by the presence of moisture that is still present on the PCB as a result of not being optimal during the drying process. In this study, the optimal Solder Coating Thickness in the 14th sample was 4.59 µm and with the parameters Storage Time After Microetch for 50 minutes and Immersion in tin Bath for 120 minutes. For the most optimal pad cleanliness found in the 5th and 12th samples with the Storage Time After Microetch parameter for 30 minutes and 60 minutes and marked by the absence of contaminants on the pad. In addition, in this study there were less than optimal mapping results marked by only 1 part of 1 sample containing tin from 16 test samples. The sample is the 3rd sample with the parameter Storage Time After Microetch for 10 minutes and Immersion in tin Bath for 55 minutes with a tin content of 91.9%.

Abstract

Saat ini PCB multi-layer banyak digunakan pada rangkaian elektronik karena mampu menyediakan PCB dengan kepadatan komponen yang lebih tinggi, kecepatan tinggi dan ukuran PCB yang relatif lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan PCB single layer. Untuk menjawab kebutuhan pasar, TFME (Teaching Factory Manucacturing of Electronics) yang merupakan salah satu laboratorium di lembaga Politeknik Batam, dirasa perlu melakukan penelitian untuk mengukur kemampuan produksi di bidang manufaktur PCB multi-layer, khususnya empat layer. Total PCB empat layer yang dibuat adalah sejumlah sembilan belas unit. Adapun metoda yang digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan TFME dalam membuat PCB empat layer adalah dengan cara mengukur kesesuaian koneksi jalur tembaga terhadap desain dan pengecekan visual kesejajaran antar layer menggunakan mesin x-ray. Dari hasil pengujian dapat diketahui bahwa untuk PCB yang menggunakan via ukuran 0.7mm tidak memiliki cacat jalur putus.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara metode pembelajaran Project Based Learning, luring dan daring terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran di Politeknik Negeri Batam. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif analitik korelatif, dengan populasi sebanyak 150 orang mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis multivariat yang sudah dilakukan bahwa ada hubungan positif antara 3 variabel bebas yaitu metode luring, daring dan PBL dengan efektivitas pembelajaran di Politeknik Negeri Batam dalam kategori sangat kuat. Nilai korelasi yang didapat dari variabel bebas dengan variabel terikat (R=0.855) yang tergolong sangat kuat secara bersama-sama lebih bermakna dibanding nilai korelasi masing-masing variabel seperti variabel luring yang memiliki nilai korelasi (R=0.338), variabel daring yang memiliki nilai korelasi (R=0.463) dan variabel PBL yang memiliki nilai korelasi (R=0.838) terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran di Politeknik Negeri Batam

Abstract

Dedication to the implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) has an important urgency in ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for prospective workers. The main objective of this programme is to increase safety awareness, knowledge, and practice of OHS at the work site to reduce the risk of work-related accidents and diseases. This service programme also aims to provide workshops for prospective workers to identify, evaluate, and control OHS risks that exist in the future work environment. Education and implementation of appropriate OHS policies were used as the method of approach and are expected to create a stronger and more sustainable workplace safety culture. The results of this implementation coverage obtained an average increase of 26.3% in the Very Good category and 10.5% in the Good category. The level of awareness and OHS knowledge among workers is improved, along with the quality of the work and living environment, and the accident and injury rate is reduced. This service is expected to increase compliance with applicable OHS regulations and OHS videos, and reduce the negative impact of work accidents on worker productivity and welfare.

Abstract

Keyboard merupakan alat utama untuk melakukan tugas yang melibatkan penulisan, pengeditan, atau analisis teks. Keyboard yang efisien, ergonomi dan responsif dapat meningkatkan produktivitas di tempat kerja, karena penggunaan perangkat komputer yang intensif dan berjam-jam dalam sehari dapat menyebabkan banyak masalah kesehatan, terutama pada bagian tangan dan pergelangan tangan. Tujuan Penelitian ini guna mengevaluasi efektivitas keyboard mekanik desain ergonomik dalam kenyamanan, dan kesehatan dalam penggunaan keyboard dalam melaksanakan pekerjaanya. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif dan pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan dari pengguna keyboard ergonomik memerlukan waktu yang tidak instan, sesuai dengan hukum kebiasaan yang menyatakan bahwa perubahan ini memerlukan pengulangan dan waktu yang cukup. Dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses adaptasi bisa memakan waktu minimal 3 minggu hingga 2 bulan agar terbiasa menggunakan keyboard ergonomik dengan lancar. Penggunaan keyboard dengan desain ergonomik membantu mengetik dalam posisi yang lebih nyaman, yang menyebabkan perbaikan pada postur pengetikan dan meminimalisir risiko penyakit di lengan. Manfaat lain dari penggunaan keyboard ergonomis adalah dapat mengurangi jumlah ketegangan pada otot lengan. Ketika mengetik dalam posisi yang sama untuk waktu yang lama menggunakan keyboard biasa, otot dapat menjadi lebih cepat lelah dan sakit.

Abstract

This study employs the black-box method and qualitative user analysis. Data collection is conducted through surveys targeting users of the developed tool, aiming to identify common issues in online shopping with the Cash on Delivery (COD) payment method. These issues include customers not being at home when the courier delivers the package, resulting in repeated delivery attempts and delays in receiving packages. Based on this identification, the team determined a solution: creating a smart COD package receiver box integrated with a mobile application, equipped with barcode verification and a surveillance camera. The results show that 98% of users are satisfied with the convenience provided by the Kopin.COD system and feel significantly assisted by this technology. Additionally, survey results from customers or package recipients indicate that 100% of respondents are satisfied with the ease and convenience of use.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and test a data acquisition and calibration system for CanSat, a small nanosatellite designed as a cost-effective solution for collecting geographical and spatial data. CanSat collects data using BME-280, MPU-9250, and NEO-6M sensors, then transmits it via XBee to a GUI for controlling the release of the Heat Shield, parachute, and legs. The data is analyzed using statistical methods and transmitted via XBee S2C. The results show that the BME-280 has a standard error of 0.35 and a deviation of 0.77 for temperature, and a standard error of 0.06 with a deviation of 0.13 for air pressure. The altitude measurement has a standard error of 0.02 and a deviation of 0.05. Meanwhile, MPU-9250 has an average standard error of 0.34 and a deviation of 0.77 for angle orientation measurement. The design and testing of the leg control system conclude that it functions at 80% efficiency.

Abstract

Frame analysis plays a vital role in the Indonesian Wheeled Soccer Robot Contest (KRSBI-B) by identifying design weaknesses and enabling optimization before building the physical robot. This study compares three frame designs: standard, modified standard, and the Tech United team's frame. Using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) in SolidWorks, each design is tested under vertical (25 kg) and horizontal (80 kg) loads, simulating real competition conditions. The Tech United frame shows the best performance, with stress values of 5.8 MPa (vertical) and 180.0 MPa (horizontal), minimal displacements of 0.018 mm and 1.806 mm, and FOS values of 9.5 and 0.3, respectively. It also displays superior stiffness, stability, and a controlled damage zone where deformation is intentionally localized to absorb impact. These characteristics make the Tech United frame the most durable and reliable option, improving overall robot performance and ensuring it can withstand the demands of competition.

Abstract

Reliable connection inspection is crucial for the quality of semiconductor products. A frequent issue is stitch defects during wire bonding. To address this, an investigation was conducted using flow charts. Additionally, an analysis was performed by identifying root causes using the Fishbone Diagram method and the 5 Whys technique. After improvements, including targeted operator training, a significant reduction of 96.75% in stitch defects was achieved. This study demonstrates that the combination of root cause analysis methods and operator training effectively enhances the reliability of the wire bonding process and the quality of semiconductor products. This study did not account for environmental factors that might influence the wire bonding process, such as temperature and humidity variations. Therefore, the findings may be limited in settings with different environmental conditions.
