Abstract

Penguatan moderasi dalam membangun identitas kebangsaan merupakan salah satu tantangan utama yang dihadapi masyarakat Indonesia di era modern. Desa Cipurut, dengan keberagaman budayanya, menjadi lokasi yang strategis untuk melaksanakan program pengabdian masyarakat yang bertujuan memperkuat nilai-nilai kebangsaan melalui kegiatan perayaan Hari Ulang Tahun Kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia (HUT-RI). Program ini menggunakan pendekatan Asset Based Communities Development (ABCD) yang menekankan pada pengidentifikasian dan pengoptimalan aset-aset yang dimiliki oleh masyarakat desa. Metode ABCD dipilih karena mampu memberdayakan masyarakat dengan mengedepankan kekuatan dan potensi lokal dalam membangun identitas kolektif yang inklusif dan moderat. Kegiatan pendampingan melibatkan berbagai unsur masyarakat, termasuk pemuda, tokoh adat, dan aparat desa, dalam merancang dan melaksanakan berbagai kegiatan yang berfokus pada penguatan nilai-nilai moderasi, seperti gotong royong, penghargaan terhadap perbedaan, dan cinta tanah air. Melalui kegiatan HUT-RI, masyarakat diajak untuk merenungkan kembali makna kemerdekaan dan pentingnya menjaga kerukunan dalam keberagaman. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya moderasi dan identitas kebangsaan yang kuat sebagai fondasi dalam menghadapi tantangan globalisasi. Keberhasilan program ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan ABCD efektif dalam mendukung pembangunan sosial yang berkelanjutan dan relevan dengan konteks lokal.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the effectiveness of creative and quality teaching at MI Cikaso through the socialization of microteaching. The background of this activity is based on the need for teachers to develop more innovative teaching methods that align with technological advancements and curriculum demands. The method used in this activity is Participatory Action Research (PAR), which actively involves MI Cikaso teachers in all stages of the research, from planning, implementation, to evaluation. This activity includes microteaching training sessions, group discussions, and reflections that are expected to improve teachers' pedagogical competence and professionalism. The results of this activity indicate a significant improvement in teachers' ability to design and implement more interactive, student-centered learning. The conclusion of this activity is that the socialization of microteaching through the PAR approach is effective in enhancing the quality of teaching at MI Cikaso, as well as strengthening collaboration among teachers in creating a more dynamic and creative learning environment.

Abstract

Islamic religious education has a strategic role in shaping the character of a moral and ethical nation, as well as strengthening the spirit of nationalism among students. This study aims to explore the contribution of Islamic religious education in fostering national values through a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects included 30 informants, including teachers, students, and principals from five junior and senior high schools that have religious education programs integrated with national values. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis, then thematically analyzed. The results showed that religious values such as honesty, responsibility, and respect for diversity play a significant role in maintaining social harmony. The national values-based curriculum is a key element in shaping the character of students who are both religious and nationalist. Contextual learning strategies, such as group discussions and hands-on practice, help students understand the relevance of national values in everyday life. Teachers have a central role as facilitators and models of national values, although challenges such as limited time and support remain. This research confirms the importance of Islamic religious education as a bridge between local and global values, capable of producing a generation that is not only faithful but also committed to diversity and national unity

Abstract

Pancasila Education plays an important role in shaping national and state awareness among students. However, in reality, there are still students who do not understand and practice the values ​​of Pancasila in their daily lives. This study aims to analyze the learning of Pancasila Education to increase the awareness of nation and state of students at STKIP Bina Mutiara Sukabumi. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with students and lecturers, observations during the learning process, and documentation studies of academic materials and policies related to Pancasila Education. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that interactive Pancasila Education learning, discussion-based, and linking theory to social reality can increase students' awareness of the importance of national values. Students become more aware of the concepts of unity, tolerance, and responsibility as citizens. The findings of the study indicate that innovative and contextual learning contributes to strengthening the understanding and implementation of Pancasila values ​​among students.

Abstract

Background: Religious education plays a strategic role in shaping students' character based on religious values in the midst of globalization challenges. Purpose: This study aims to examine the implementation of Islamic Education in instilling religious values in students at SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Sukabumi. Methods: This study used a qualitative descriptive approach, with data obtained through purposive and snowball sampling methods. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis is carried out descriptively. Results: Findings show that the implementation of religious values is well executed through daily activities and special programs such as Qur'an Learning Centers, joint prayer, and religious talent development. The assessment is carried out systematically through attitude evaluation, behavioral monitoring, and religious practices in accordance with the 2013 Curriculum. Conclusion: This study concludes that a systematic approach to religious education in SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Sukabumi is effective in instilling religious values.

Abstract

YouTube video tutorials have become an effective learning medium to enhance students' understanding of educational materials, including Islamic Cultural History. This study aims to examine the impact of YouTube video tutorials on students' comprehension. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, direct observations, and document studies at a secondary school in Indonesia. The findings indicate that YouTube video tutorials significantly improve students' interest in learning, provide a deeper understanding through visual and auditory elements, and increase engagement in the learning process. The visual representation of historical events makes abstract concepts more tangible, allowing students to grasp complex ideas more easily. Additionally, the flexibility of video tutorials enables students to revisit materials at their own pace, reinforcing their understanding. Teachers also find these videos useful as supplementary teaching tools, helping them present historical narratives in a more engaging and accessible manner. Furthermore, students show greater enthusiasm in discussions and assignments after watching the tutorials. In conclusion, YouTube video tutorials serve as an innovative and effective medium for enhancing students' understanding of Islamic Cultural History, offering an interactive and accessible way to present historical concepts while fostering deeper engagement in the learning process

Abstract

This research was driven by the need for effective teaching methods to enhance students' memory retention of Al-Qur'an Hadith material. The study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of the drill method in improving the memory retention of grade X students at MAN 1 Sukabumi City. A qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews with teachers and students, classroom observations, and document studies of students' learning outcomes. The findings indicated that the drill method, which emphasizes systematic and structured repetition, significantly improved students' ability to memorize and recall Al-Qur'an Hadith material. Students demonstrated better retention and comprehension after repeated practice sessions. Teachers also noted increased student confidence and motivation in learning. Additionally, the structured nature of the drill method helps students internalize the material more effectively, reinforcing their long-term memory. The method was particularly beneficial in subjects requiring memorization, such as Al-Qur'an Hadith. Furthermore, students showed greater engagement in the learning process, as the repetitive exercises helped them track their progress. In conclusion, the drill method has been proven to be an effective learning strategy for enhancing students' memory retention, making it a valuable approach in religious education and other memory-based subjects

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of Islamic education based on students' interests and talents through a differentiated instruction approach. In the context of contemporary Islamic education, it is important to design a learning process that not only focuses on cognition but also accommodates the diverse potential, inclinations, and learning readiness of each individual. This study employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method, analyzing recent relevant literature from both accredited national journals and reputable international journals. The findings indicate that interest- and talent-based learning aligns with the principle of fitrah in Islam, which recognizes that every child has unique potential that must be developed holistically. Differentiated instruction has proven to be effective in enhancing student engagement, intrinsic motivation, and academic achievement when applied with the right strategies. However, its implementation requires teacher readiness, curriculum flexibility, and a supportive learning environment. This study recommends the importance of professional development for teachers and the development of a curriculum responsive to individual learning needs as part of the transformation of Islamic education that is just, inclusive, and relevant to the challenges of the 21st century.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the techniques for selecting learning media in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah educational institutions through a literature review approach. This method involves the collection and analysis of data from various literature sources such as books, articles, and journals related to learning media. The selection of learning media in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah is influenced by several important factors, including student characteristics, learning objectives, the availability of technology, and the material being taught. This study found that challenges in selecting learning media often relate to resource limitations and access to technology. Therefore, enhancing teachers' abilities to use various media effectively is highly recommended to improve the quality of learning in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah.

Abstract

Pemahaman peserta didik terhadap materi jual beli dalam pelajaran Fiqih masih menjadi tantangan, sehingga diperlukan metode pembelajaran yang efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi Metode Pembelajaran Demonstratif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Fiqih di MAN 1 Kota Sukabumi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi yang dilakukan di MAN 1 Kota Sukabumi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Metode Pembelajaran Demonstratif, yang melibatkan praktik langsung dan contoh konkret dalam pembelajaran, efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik. Peserta didik lebih mudah memahami konsep jual beli sesuai hukum Islam dan mampu mengaplikasikannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kesimpulannya, Metode Pembelajaran Demonstratif terbukti meningkatkan keterlibatan peserta didik dan memperbaiki hasil belajar pada materi jual beli, sehingga direkomendasikan untuk diterapkan secara luas pada pembelajaran Fiqih.
