Abstract

Pada awal Maret 2020 dilaporkan adanya covid-19 di Indonesia. Berdasarkan data penyebaran virus covid-19 maka dibutuhkan penanganan yang cepat. Pencegahan covid-19 menurut Menteri Kesehatan Indonesia, dikenal dengan istilah prokes 5M yaitu : 1). Memakai Masker, 2) Mencuci Tangan dengan Sabun, 3) Menjaga Jarak/Social Distancing, 4) Menjauhi Kerumunan, 5) Mengurangi Mobilitas. Keseluruhan tahapan tersebut dikenal sebagai upaya Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS). Permasalahannya masih kurangnya kesadaran warga Surabaya di dalam mematuhi prokes 5M. Maksud dan tujuan di dalam melaksanakan kegiatan sosialisasi dan edukasi mematuhi prokes 5M ini antara lain untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran kepada seluruh warga Surabaya didalam mematuhi prokes 5M dan juga menumbuhkan keyakinan tentang bahaya penyebaran covid-19 di Surabaya. Model sosialisasi dan edukasi yang bisa diterima oleh warga Surabaya berbeda antara daerah yang satu dengan yang lain. Hasil dari kegiatan ini membuat masyarakat Surabaya menjadi lebih memahami akan pentingnya menjaga prokes 5M.

Abstract

Kebijakan pembangunan keluarga dilakukan melalui pembinaan ketahanan dan kesejahteraan keluarga. Hal ini dilakukan melalui upaya peningkatan kualitas anak dengan berbagai informasi seperti melalui: 1). Akses informasi, 2). Akses pendidikan, 3). Pemberian penyuluhan dan pelayanan (perawatan, pengasuhan dan perkembangan anak). Salah satu usaha intensifikasi dibidang pengasuhan dikenal dengan Sekolah Orang Tua Hebat (SOTH). SOTH ini merupakan sekolah pengasuhan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan orang tua dan sebagai salah satu upaya dalam mencegah stunting pada anak usia dini. Pemerintah Kota Surabaya melalui Ketua TP PKK Kota Surabaya telah membentuk 5 SOTH Bina Keluarga Balita (BKB) percontohan, bekerjasama dengan Universitas Teknologi Surabaya untuk membantu membangun komunikasi antara orang tua dengan anak-anaknya sesuai ilmu dan metode yang benar. Kegiatan SOTH ini dilengkapi dengan kurikulum pendidikan, silabus, pemetaan instruktur, rencana kegiatan pembelajaran, perangkat monitoring, jurnal, absensi peserta, absensi pengelola, buku tamu dan mars SOTH serta evaluasi kegiatan berupa pretest dan posttest. Dengan model pembelajaran yang menciptakan iklim kerjasama yang kolaboratif dan demokratis dalam dimensi mutualis antara dunia perguruan perguruan tinggi dan masyarakat diharapkan tercapainya pembelajaran bagi kepentingan pendidikan serta masyarakat.

Abstract

MSMEs have a very big role in the national economy, so if many MSMEs go out of business, it is feared that this will have a big impact on the national economy. Even though it is full of challenges, the MSME sector still has hope and opportunities to increase its business scale. This opportunity is still open for MSME business actors who want to innovate products and design them with a technological touch. The management process includes several steps, namely: Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling (POAC), these four things need to be implemented so that MSMEs can grow. When starting a business, what must be formulated is the vision, mission, and corporate values. For example, in creating a business the superior values ​​are business that is excellent, honest, trustworthy, and so on. Company values ​​are important because they will become the soul of the company. In making a business plan, the first thing we do is identify where we are, where we are going (goal), why we want to go there, and what we will achieve. These measurements are important. The point is what is the best way to achieve the goals. The method used in this mentoring activity was through a combination of material presentation activities and coaching clinics, which were held in a total of 16 meetings. The result of the activity is an output in the form of a business plan which includes the vision, mission, goals, and business model for the MSME partners targeted by the activity. Other results include new logo designs for several partners so that the appearance becomes fresher and more attractive.

Abstract

Even every work of arts especially in literature has their own unique story style yet its also has similarities in the idea or problems of human being. The similarities appear on their works because they share some common aspects of life which is also called as the intertextuality. Themes and motives in work of arts are similar because of the universal consciousness among the authors. And by these works Diary of a Mad Old Man by Junichiro Tanizaki, Aku by Chairil Anwar, The Jilting of Granny Weatherall by Kathrene Anne Porter and The Tinkers by Paul Harding deal with the same theme about life and death. Moreover, three main characters also in the same age, they are old people who fought their life before the death toke it away. The analysis is using qualitative method to evaluate the similarities and the differences concept of life and death and also to able to found out any correlation of each work related with the intertextuality among them

Abstract

The ecranisation is a process of filtering, transferring, or eliminating features from a novel into a film. The purpose of this study is to explore different adaptations of Lewis Caroll's (1832-1898) classic books Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Alice in Wonderland’s Tim Burton (2010). It is necessary to understand how adaptation theory used to transform a literary work into the visual structure of a film. This study also shows how different forms of media presentation can influence adaptation differently.

Abstract

This report discusses community service activities to improve the performance of MSMEs in Wonocolo District through a participation-based mentoring program. This program is designed to overcome challenges such as low financial literacy, limited access to technology, and managerial capabilities with participatory methods that actively involve MSME actors. The approach includes needs analysis, training, individual mentoring, and monitoring and evaluation. As a result, 70% of participants started using social media and marketplaces for marketing, 60% diversified their products, and their managerial capacity improved. Although effective, challenges such as low digital literacy and mentoring time still require attention. Collaboration between the government, educational institutions, and local communities is needed to support the sustainability of this program to make MSMEs more competitive in local and regional markets.

Abstract

This research is intended to determine the influence of Person Job Fit, Job Crafting and Work Engagement on Organizational Citizenship Behavior in Employees of Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) Surya Sembada Surabaya City by involving 65 employees of PDAM Surya Sembada Surabaya City as respondents in this research. The research results prove that Person Job Fit has a positive and significant effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior. This means that if the employees have the appropriate Person Job Fit, a sense of mutual help behavior will be created between employees. Job Crafting has a positive and significant effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior. This means that if employees apply Job Crafting, it will increase Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Work Engagement has a positive and significant effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior. This means that if employees feel work engagement, it will also increase Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Simultaneously Person Job Fit, Job Crafting and Work Engagement have a positive and significant effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior with coefficient of determination of 0,96 or 96%, this indicates that the Organizational Citizenship Behavior variable can be explained by the Person Job Fit, Job Crafting and Work Engagement variables by 96%.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to enhance the competitiveness of women-led Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in Surabaya by providing practical marketing strategies through a workshop. Despite their significant role in the national economy, many UMKM, especially those run by women, face challenges in marketing due to limited access to training and resources. This workshop, held at Darmo Trade Center, Surabaya, focused on providing simple yet applicable marketing strategies, such as the STP (Segmentation, Targeting, Positioning) framework and the Unique Selling Proposition (USP) to help entrepreneurs better understand their products, target consumers, and improve product differentiation. The workshop also emphasized entrepreneurial characteristics and business risk-taking. The results indicated that the participants, mostly women entrepreneurs, gained valuable insights into marketing strategies and felt more confident in applying these concepts to improve their business performance. Feedback from the participants suggested a high level of engagement and readiness to implement the strategies discussed.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kuantitatif. Dalam penelitian ini teknik pengambilan sampel yang akan digunakan adalah sampel jenuh, dengan tujuan untuk mengambil sampel berdasarkan seluruh populasi yang terdapat dalam objek penelitian dijadikan sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini. Metode penelitian analisis yang digunakan adalah uji regresi bertahap. Pengujian hipotesis pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan uji statistik yaitu analisis jalur, uji t dan uji F. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dan beban kerja berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Dengan adanya hasil tersebut, diharapkan peneliti selanjutnya dapat mengembangkan variabel lain yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan seperti motivasi kerja sehingga hasil penelitian selanjutnya dapat memberikan hasil penelitian yang lebih luas lagi.

Abstract

As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic that hit Indonesia in 2020, it has resulted in a decline in the economy and activities in various sectors and regions of Indonesia. In 2023, the economic condition, which was in shock due to the Covid-19 pandemic, is gradually improving in line with the stability of the domestic financial market and the stretching of several economic sectors. The Government of Indonesia has declared that this year our economy must recover more quickly by making policy steps to strengthen the economy accompanied by transparent prioritization and proper policy coordination and synchronization. The community service team at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Surabaya University of Technology feels compelled to participate in the success of government programs by creating HR assistance programs and business planning by utilizing marketplace applications in the post-Covid-19 pandemic for business development and increasing sales turnover. The accompanying partner this time is the "Winda Jaya" Surabaya staple food shop, which sells various basic household needs such as rice, sugar, coffee and others. The community service team at the Faculty of Economics and Business tries to identify problems based on the collected data. After further analysis, the community service team formulated the problem as follows: (1) Lack of partner's understanding of management functions and how to manage HR, (2) Lack of partner's understanding of making good business plans, (3) Partner's lack of understanding about tips and tricks for successfully utilizing marketplace applications. The method used is divided into 3 (three) stages, namely the preparation stage, the activity implementation stage and the closing stage. The results of this community service activity are an increase in understanding by companion partners of management science material, procedures for managing human resources, making a good business plan and how to use marketplace applications for business development. This community service activity (PkM) is in the framework of implementing the Tridharma of Higher Education and also supports the Surabaya City Development Synergy Program
