Abstract

One of the differences between the Merdeka Curriculum and the 2013 Curriculum is the making of teaching modules. Teaching modules, also known as lesson plans, have more complete components compared to the lesson plans in the 2013 Curriculum. In the Merdeka Curriculum, students are required to be active in learning and can think critically. Thus, the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model is a learning model that helps students understand the material. This PBL model helps learners actively investigate information about reasons and potential solutions to problems in everyday life. The research method used was distributing questionnaires to 34 Phase F students and conducting interviews with one of the biology teachers at SMAN 5 Padang, with qualitative data collection analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results of the analysis showed that as many as 94% of students chose virus material as material that was difficult to understand because as many as 88% of students considered the material to be memorized, 74% chose material that could not be observed directly and as many as 64% of students chose because there were too many terms that caused students' understanding of virus material to be quite low. For this reason, it is necessary to develop a virus teaching module based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) for Phase E SMA. Salah satu perbedaan Kurikulum Merdeka dengan Kurikulum 2013 adalah pembuatan modul ajar. Modul ajar atau dikenal dengan RPP ini memiliki komponen yang lebih lengkap jika dibandingkan RPP yang ada di Kurikulum 2013. Pada Kurikulum Merdeka, peserta didik diharuskan untuk aktif dalam belajar dan dapat berpikir kritis. Dengan demikian, model Problem Based Learning (PBL) adalah model pembelajaran yang membantu peserta didik dalam memahami materi. Model PBL ini membantu peserta didik secara aktif menyelidiki informasi tentang alasan dan solusi potensial untuk masalah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu menyebarkan angket kepada 34 peserta didik Fase F dan melakukan wawancara kepada salah satu guru biologi di SMA Negeri 5 Padang, dengan pengumpulan data kualitatif yang dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 94% didik memilih materi virus sebagai materi yang sulit dipahami karena sebanyak 88% peserta didik menganggap materi bersifat hafalan, 74% memilih materi tidak dapat diamati secara langsung dan sebanyak 64% peserta didik memilih karena terlalu banyak istilah yang menyebabkan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap materi virus cukup rendah. Untuk itu diperlukan pengembangan modul ajar virus berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) untuk Fase E SMA.

Abstract

21st century learning is required to always be able to adapt to the times and apply 4C abilities. But in fact, the learning process tends to be still teacher-centered, the learning media used are also still not varied and students have not used 4C abilities in learning. This causes students to be passive, monotonous, and bored. The innovation of learning media based on Argument Driven Inquiry (ADI) is expected to be able to increase students' 4C abilities and learning motivation. Viruses are material that is difficult for students to understand, because many foreign terms are used. The purpose of this study was to analyze the need to develop learning media based on Argument Driven Inquiry (ADI) on Virus material. The method used is descriptive research and literature study. Types of data collection from the results of observations of the distribution of questionnaires to students and teachers as well as the results of the Student Daily Assessment. Based on the results of observations made 100% of teachers agree in the development of biology learning media based on Argument Driven Inquiry (ADI). A total of 68% of students are happy to carry out discussion activities in biology learning and 61.11% of students are happy to investigate a problem in biology material. The development of ADI-based biology learning media is one of the alternative media in the learning process in the 21st century as teaching materials, practical and technological developments in accordance with the demands of the times. ADI-based learning media will increase students' ability to communicate, collaborate, and critical thinking.

Abstract

Learning achievement can be seen from the summative assessment obtained by students after the learning process. One of the factors that influence the assessment results of learners is intelligence. The level of each intelligence possessed by learners is different. Naturalistic intelligence is an important intelligence in learning biology. Naturalistic intelligence is one of the 9 theories of intelligence proposed and developed by Howard Gardner (Harvard Psychologist). This study aims to determine the relationship between naturalistic intelligence and summative assessment of students of SMAN 4 West Sumatra. This type of research is descriptive correlational research. The population in this study were all Phase E students of SMAN 4 West Sumatra. The sample in this study amounted to 86 students in Phase E who were taken by total sampling technique. Data collection techniques through naturalistic intelligence questionnaire and for learning outcomes obtained from mid-semester summative assessment. Data analysis techniques using the analysis requirements test and correlation test using Pearson product moment. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between naturalistic intelligence and learning outcomes of Phase E students at SMAN 4 West Sumatra, with a correlation coefficient value of 0.326 which is classified into the low category.

Abstract

Pembelajaran biologi tak terlepas dari kegiatan praktikum untuk menunjang pemahaman peserta didik terhadap materi pelajaran biologi. Penggunaan LKP sebagai petunjuk kegiatan praktikum harus memperhatikan kualitasnya agar dapat menyajikan kegiatan praktikum yang bermakna sehingag peserta didik dapat memperoleh pengetahuan baru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif analitik yang bertujuan mendeskripsikan atau memberikan gambaran terhadap LKP biologi kelas XI materi sistem respirasi yang digunakan. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah Total Sampling dengan mengambil 4 LKP yang bersumber dari buku paket dan LKS.Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah rubrik kelengkapan dan rubrik penskoran  diagram Vee. Data penelitian kemudian diuji coba dan dianalisis untuk melihat kelengkapan dan kualitasnya berdasarkan komponen diagram Vee. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas LKP yang dianalisis melalui skoring komponen diagram Vee mendapatkan rerata persentase 40% dengan kriteria kurang baik. Pada LKP yang dianalisis, masih terdapat permasalahan tentang tujuan praktikum yang tidak dilampirkan, petunjuk langkah kerja dan prosedur langkah kerja yang membingungkan peserta didik, dasar teori yang tidak terdapat pada LKP serta tidak terdapatnya arahan dalam mentransformasikan data.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan guru dan siswa terhadap LKPD Materi Bioteknologi Berbasis Project-Based Learning Terintegrasi Kearifan Lokal Fase E untuk SMA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian yaitu 35 orang siswa fase E semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2023/2024 dan dua orang guru biologi. Analisis kebutuhan ini terdiri dari analisis awal akhir, analisis peserta didik, analisis tugas, dan analisis konsep. Dari hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan diketahui bahwa pengembangan LKPD Materi Bioteknologi Berbasis project-based learning terintegrasi Kearifan Lokal fase E untuk SMA sangat diperlukan.

Abstract

Background: Booklets can be produced through development research using the 4D model which consists of define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. Utari Akhir Agusti has developed a booklet until the develop stage, so further research is needed at the disseminate stage by conducting an effectiveness test as one of the steps of the disseminate stage. Methods: This research is a quasi-experiment research with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population of this study were all students of class XI phase F SMA Adabiah 2 Padang. The sample was taken using simple random sampling technique, so that phase F2 was selected as the experimental class and phase F5 as the control class. Research data in the form of learning outcomes of students in the cognitive domain. Data collection techniques using test techniques. The research instrument is a multiple choice test that has been valid and reliable. The data obtained were analyzed using the t test. Results: Based on the results of research on the cognitive domain shows the average value of the experimental class is higher than the control class. Data analysis using paired sample test, obtained sig value (0.000) < α value (0.05). Thus it can be concluded that the booklet of the structure and function of plant tissues effectively improves the learning outcomes of phase F students of Adabiah 2 Padang High School. Conclusion: Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the booklet of the structure and function of plant tissues effectively improves the learning outcomes of phase F students of Adabiah 2 Padang High School.

Abstract

E-learning adalah media pembelajaran yang menggunakan internet untuk menyampaikan materi pembelajaran dari guru ke peserta didik dan salah satunya adalah edmodo. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui validitas dan kepraktisan media pembelajaran e-learning berbasis edmodo pada materi sistem sirkulasi untuk pembelajaran daring. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model 4-D (define, design, develop, desseminate). Namun tahap desseminate tidak dilakukan karena keterbatasan waktu dan biaya serta kesesuaian dengan tujuan penelitian. Objek penelitian ini adalah media pembelajaran e-learning berbasis edmodo pada materi sistem sirkulasi untuk peserta didik kelas XI. Subjek untuk uji validitas adalah dosen biologi dan guru Biologi SMAN 1 Payakumbuh, sedangkan untuk uji kepraktisan adalah guru Biologi dan 30 orang peserta didik kelas XI SMAN 1 Payakumbuh. Instrumen penelitian adalah angket validitas dan kepraktisan yang dianalisis dalam bentuk persentase. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapatkan bahwa hasil validasi menunjukkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 84,86% dengan kategori valid dan hasil uji kepraktisan menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 87,82% untuk guru dengan kategori praktis dan 91,77% untuk peserta didik dengan kategori sangat praktis. Dengan demikian, media ­e-learning berbasis edmodo pada materi sistem sirkulasi untuk peserta didik kelas XI di SMAN 1 Payakumbuh sudah valid dan praktis untuk membantu proses pembelajaran daring. E-learning is the learning media that use the internet to deliver learning materials from teachers to students and one of it is Edmodo. The purpose of this research was to determine the validity and practicality of the Edmodo-based e-learning media on the circulation system material for online learning. This type of research was Research and Development (R&D) using a 4-D model (define, design, develop, desseminate). However, the desseminate stage was not carried out due to time and cost limitations as well as the suitability of the research purpose. The object of this research was the Edmodo-based e-learning media on the circulation system material for students class XI. The subjects for the validity test were biology lecturers and biology teacher, while for the practicality test were biology teachers and 30 students class XI at SMAN 1 Payakumbuh. The research instrument was a questionnaire of validity and practicality which was analyzed in the form of a percentage. Based on the research results, it was found that the validation results showed an average value of 84.86% in the valid category and the practicality test results showed an average value of 87.82% for teachers in the practical category and 91.77% for students in the very practical category. Thus, the edmodo-based e-learning media on the circulation system material for students class XI at SMAN 1 Payakumbuh was valid and practical to help the online learning.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 mempengaruhi aspek pendidikan sehingga pemerintah mengalihkan proses pembelajaran tatap muka menjadi daring dan untuk itu dibutuhkan media pembelajaran e-learning. Edmodo adalah jenis e-learning memiliki tampilan seperti facebook dan mudah digunakan bagi pemula. Materi sistem reproduksi adalah materi yang dianggap sulit peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran e-learning berbasis edmodo pada materi sistem reproduksi kelas XI SMA yang valid. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D)  menggunakan 4-D models:  define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Tahap disseminate tidak dilakukan karena keterbatasan waktu dan biaya dan penyesuaian dengan tujuan penelitian. Subjek penelitian adalah dosen biologi dan guru SMAN 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam sebagai validator media pembelajaran e-learning berbasis edmodo pada materi sistem reproduksi. Angket validitas yang digunakan terdiri dari 4 komponen penilaian: kelayakan isi, kebahasaan, penyajian, dan kegrafikaan. Teknik analisis data penelitian adalah kuantitatif deksriptif yang mendeskripsikan validasi e-learning yang dikembangkan. Hasil validasi pengembangan media pembelajaran e-learning berbasis edmodo pada materi sistem reproduksi kelas XI SMA adalah valid untuk semua komponen penilaian (kelayakan isi, kebahasaan, sajian, dan kegrafikaan) dengan rata-rata nilai uji validitas sebesar 84,43% (valid). Dengan demikian, pengembangan media pembelajaran e-learning berbasis edmodo pada materi sistem reproduksi kelas XI SMA layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. The Covid-19 pandemic has affected the education aspect so that the government has shifted the face-to-face learning process to online and for that we need e-learning learning media. Edmodo is a type of e-learning that looks like Facebook and is easy to use for beginners. Reproductive system material was material that is considered difficult for students. This study aimed to produce a valid Edmodo-based e-learning media on the reproductive system material for class XI High School. This type of study was Research and Development (R&D) using 4-D models: define, design, develop, dan disseminate. The disseminate stage was not carried out due to time and cost constraints and adjustments to the study objective. The study subjects were biology lecturers and teacher of SMAN 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam as validators of Edmodo-based e-learning media on reproductive system material. The used validity questionnaire consisted of 4 assessment components: content feasibility, language, presentment, and graphics. The data analysis technique was descriptive quantitative which described the validation of the developed e-learning. The validation result of the development of Edmodo-based e-learning media on reproductive system material for class XI were valid for all assessment components (content feasibility, language, presentation, and graphics) with an average validity test value of  84.43% (valid). Thus, the development of Edmodo-based e-learning media on reproductive system material for class XI High School was feasible to be used in the learning process.

Abstract

The Indonesian nation has now entered the 21st century, which requires students not to be consumed by negative issues spreading in society. Based on this, learning in schools needs to equip and train students' argumentation abilities. The Arqument Driven Inquiry (ADI) learning model is thought to be able to improve students' argumentation abilities. The Arqument Driven Inquiry (ADI) learning model is a model that creates an active learning atmosphere by guiding students to solve a problem through investigation and finding solutions to these problems in groups. The purpose of this study was to reveal how the influence of the Arqument Driven Inquiry (ADI) learning model on students' argumentation abilities. The research method used is the method of literature study. The data used is secondary data obtained from relevant articles. From the results of the data recapitulation of several related articles, it can be seen that there is an effect of using the Arqument Driven Inquiry (ADI) model on students' argumentation abilities. So it can be concluded that the Arqument Driven Inquiry (ADI) model can improve students' argumentation skills in biology learning.

Abstract

This research is based on the problem of the lack of motivation to learn phase E students in learning Biology at SMAN 4 West Sumatra. In addition, the kinesthetic intelligence of students at SMAN 4 West Sumatra is more dominant. This study aims to determine the relationship between kinesthetic intelligence and learning motivation of phase E students in learning Biology at SMAN 4 West Sumatra. how much contribution is given and the results are related or not related. This research is descriptive correlation research. The research instrument used is a questionnaire in tabular form. The population amounted to 107 people and the sample amounted to 73 students. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between kinesthetic intelligence and learning motivation with the strength of the relationship between kinesthetic intelligence and learning motivation of phase E students in Biology learning at SMAN 4 West Sumatra classified as very weak.
