Abstract

This research is motivated by the need of the availability of teaching materials for students as supporters of online/virtual learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Availability of E-Learning-based teaching material is expected to overcome the problems faced by students, especially how they understand teaching material on the Educational Supervision Course. This study was designed to produce E-Learning-based teaching materials for Educational Supervision as an effort to improve the effectiveness of learning. Development of teaching materials for Educational Supervision course is using ADDIE Model with the steps to apply this model sequentially include: (1) analyze, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, and (5) evaluation. The result of this study is the implementation of using E-learning method requires instrumental support which includes the device or media used, readiness, and the ability of lecturers to implement a virtual learning system, including teaching material as a single component in the learning system.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed to describe how to manage internationalization program of International Office in order to bring them into World Class University. Internationalization program is a way to raise excellence factors, such as concentration of talent. I used qualitative approach and multi cases study to describe the management process. The result showed that internalization program management that consisted of planning, actuating, and monitoring and evaluation of internationalization program were done by all of components in each university that related to internationalization program.Key Words: management, internationalization program, International Office, World Class UniversityAbstrak: Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan manajemen program internasionalisasi International Office dalam mewujudkan universitas berkelas dunia atau World Class University. Program internasionalisasi merupakan salah satu strategi untuk memenuhi kriteria dalam mencapai universitas berkelas dunia atau excellence factors yakni concentration of talent. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi multikasus. Peneliti melakukan Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen program internasionalisasi yang terdiri dari penyusunan program, implementasi program, dan monitoring serta evaluasi program dilaksanakan oleh International Office dan dibantu oleh segenap komponen yang bersangkutan dengan program tersebut.Kata kunci: manajemen, program internasionalisasi, International Office, World Class University

Abstract

The era of the Education Revolution 4.0 has now been felt and become a part of the education process and has an impact on the action of realizing teacher professionalism. With regard to educational issues as stated above, the purpose of implementing this article is to provide knowledge and skills for teachers in making classroom action research reports so that they can increase their professionalism. The method of this training activity is carried out by lectures, discussions, questions and answers, and mentoring. This activity was attended by 24 participants from elementary school teachers throughout the city of Surabaya who had filled out the online registration (google form). The result of this training was that the knowledge and skills of teachers increased and were able to lead to the realization of professional teachers. This can be seen from the results of the training evaluation data analysis, which overall participants rated this activity in the very satisfactory category with a score range of 55-64. The training materials that have been mastered by the participants are good practice in classroom learning, the nature of classroom action research reports, writing classroom action research reports, and disseminating classroom action research reports. Mentoring is done by reviewing class action research reports from participants to be presented and provide feedback for improvements. Dissemination by submitting relevant educational journals and classroom action research journals to be published from the trainees.

Abstract

Tracer Study is a study that can provide helpful information to evaluate higher education results and can then be used to improve and guarantee the quality of higher education institutions. This research uses a quantitative research approach with the type of survey research. The research population is graduates of the Educational Management Department who graduated in 2019 and 2020. The sample used is saturated sampling, where the entire population is a member of the sample. The study results were analyzed using descriptive statistics and extracted information about graduates, including the number of graduates. It includes who graduated, graduates employment status, waiting time for graduates, coverage of where graduates work, and other descriptions are required by Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi (i.e., BAN-PT). BAN-PT is an accreditation organization in Indonesia, where accreditation and input for curriculum development of Educational Management Department. The result showed that Educational Management graduates could be survived as employees or entrepreneurs that focus on Educational Management scope.

Abstract

Covid 19 pandemic has an impact on Indonesian economy, corona impact is also experienced by people who work as shoes and sandal tailors around Mojokerto city. Their income has decreased because there are no buyers to buy their products. The purpose of this community service activity is to sharing knowledge to the community to be able to make 2 layers fabric masks, drive the community's economy and support the demand of mask commodities in the prevention of Covid-19. The method is to provide education and training in sewing 2-layer fabric masks. Their sewing skills that they have before make education and training process getting easy, they are previously sewed shoes and sandals now turn to sew cloth masks, cloth masks made from cotton fabrics consists of 2 layers. The supply of medical masks is quite rare and is intended for medical personnel so 2-layers fabric masks are considered capable of suppressing the spread of corona virus. From the results of education and training in sewing and producing masks, data and information were obtained that the people of Mojokerto were able to produce 2-layer fabric masks and run of their economy so that they did not experience significant losses.

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren dengan keanekaragamannya termasuk lembaga atau organisasi pendidikan yang unik dari segi manajemen pendidikan. Baik itu dari sisi kepemimpinan, pengelolaan pendidikan yang menggunakan prinsip Islami, hingga kegiatan-kegiatan yang mendukung penyelenggaraan pendidikan di Pondok Pesantren memiliki kekhasan tersendiri. Pelatihan ini akan diberikan kepada seluruh pengelola Pondok Pesantren Tahfidzul Qur'an Fathul Huda Blitar. Pondok Pesantren ini menjadi mitra kegiatan PKM karena Pondok Pesantren Tahfidzul Qur'an Fathul Huda Blitar memiliki potensi yang baik dan mampu disaingkan dengan Pondok Pesantren lainnya, namun SDM yang dimiliki masih memiliki keterbatasan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam bidang keilmuan manajemen pendidikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendiskripsikan pelaksanaan supervisi model MITD (Management, Information Technology, Teamwork, Do and Development) di Banlanga School Chana District, Thailand. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan rancangan penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah kondensasi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data yang digunakan pada penelitian adalah uji derajat kepercayaan, uji ketergantuangan, uji keteralihan. dan uji kepastian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah dan wakil kepala sekolah sebagai supervisor serta guru sebagai supervisee. Pre-conference dilaksanakan sebelum semester baru melalui rapat yang dihadiri oleh keplaa sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, dan seluruh guru yang membahas mengenai permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh guru dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar dan memanfaatkan grup obrolan Line sebagai media komunikasi. Conference dilaksanakan tanpa pemberitahuan terlebih dahulu melalui kunjungan kelas dengan kepala sekolah melakukan pengamatan dan menanyakan guru pertanyaan reflektif. Post-conference dilaksanakan ketika kelas selesai dengan membahas hasil kunjungan kelas dan mendiskusikan mengenai strategi untuk mengembangkan diri guru. Abstract This study aims to determine and describe the implementation of the MITD (Management, Information Technology, Teamwork, Do and Development) model supervision at Banlanga School Chana District, Thailand. This research uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach and case study research design. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and document study. The analysis technique used was data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The data validity test used in the research is reliability test, dependability test, transferability test, and confirmability test. The results showed that supervision was conducted by the school director and deputy director as supervisors and teachers as supervisees. Pre-conference is conducted before the new semester through a meeting attended by the school director, deputy director, and all teachers who discuss the problems faced by teachers in teaching and learning activities and utilise Line chat groups as a medium of communication. Conferences are conducted without prior notice through classroom visits with the principal making observations and asking teachers reflective questions. Post-conferences are held when the class is finished by discussing the results of the class visit and discussing strategies for teacher self-development. Abstract

Perkembangan zaman dan teknologi di Indonesia mempengaruhi perubahan kurikulum yang diterapkan. Indonesia berupaya melakukan transformasi kurikulum untuk menyesuaikannya dengan perkembangan zaman, sosial, dan teknologi di Indonesia dengan menerapkan kurikulum baru bernama kurikulum merdeka. Sesuai dengan adanya perubahan penerapan kurikulum baru di Indonesia, SDN Sawahan IV Surabaya juga menerapkan kurikulum merdeka di satuan pendidikannya pada kelas 1 dan kelas. Penerapan kurikulum merdeka di sekolah tersebut tidak terlepas dari adanya kepemimpinan pembelajaran oleh guru sehingga peneliti mengambil judul penelitian Kepemimpinan Pembelajaran Guru Dalam Penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka di SDN Sawahan IV Surabaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk-bentuk kepemimpinan pembelajaran yang dilakukan guru dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan, hingga mengevaluasi pembelajaran menggunakan kurikulum merdeka. Peneliti telah melaksanakan penelitian secara kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Wawancara dan observasi telah dilakukan bersama sumber data yang telah ditentukan sebelumnya, serta studi dokumentasi yang berkaitan dengan fokus penelitian telah dilakukan untuk menunjang kelengkapan temuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa guru terbukti kompeten dan professional dalam memimpin pembelajaran pada rombel yang dimpimpin. The development of the times and technology in Indonesia has influenced changes to the curriculum applied. Indonesia is trying to transform the curriculum to adapt it to the times, social and technological developments in Indonesia by implementing a new curriculum called the independent curriculum. In accordance with changes in the implementation of the new curriculum in Indonesia, SDN Sawahan IV Surabaya also implements the independent curriculum in its educational units in grade 1 and grades. The implementation of the independent curriculum in these schools is inseparable from the existence of learning leadership by the teacher so that the researchers took the research title Teacher Learning Leadership in the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum at SDN Sawahan IV Surabaya. This study aims to determine the forms of learning leadership carried out by teachers in planning, implementing, and evaluating learning using an independent curriculum. Researchers have carried out qualitative research using interview techniques, observation, and documentation studies. Interviews and observations have been carried out with predetermined data sources, as well as documentation studies related to the research focus have been carried out to support the completeness of the research findings. The results of this study indicate that the teacher proved to be competent and professional in leading the learning in the group being led.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai implementasi manajemen kelas berbasis life skill dalam membentuk karakter mandiri dan tanggungjawab pada peserta didik Anak Usia Dini di Padang Besar Child Development Center Thailand. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Data diperoleh dari hasil observasi, wawancara langsung kepada narasumber dan melalui dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 3 langkah dalam melaksanakan manajemen kelas berbasis life skill yakni melalui perencanaan kelas, pelaknasaan kelas dan juga evaluasi. Pada tahap perencanaan Padang Besar Child Development Center Thailand melakukan pengorganisasian oleh kepala sekolah dengan pembagian tugas kepada guru dalam penyiapan lingkungan belajar, menyiapkan strategi dan metode yang digunakan sesuai dengan prosedur yang telah ditetapkan, menyusun kegiatan pembelajaran life skill melalui kegiatan terjadwal di kelas maupun kegiatan di luar kelas dengan cara mendampingi, mengawasi dan memberikan arahan agar aktivitas life skill tertanam pada habituasi peseta didik. Pada tahap tahap pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan mengatur kondisi dan iklim kelas agar peserta didik merasa siap dan nyaman dalam proses bermain dan belajar, menggununakan strategi dan metode yang bervariatif, melakukan keteladanan dan pembiasaan pada peserta didik melalui jadwal aktivitas pembelajaran dan cerita keseharian. Pada tahap evaluasi kepala sekolah dan guru mengevaluasi aktivitas dan perkembangan peserta didik selama pembelajaran di kelas, mengevaluasi kinerja guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran baik dari strategi dan media yang digunakan untuk selalu dilakukan perbaikan, selain itu evaluasi dilakukan pada akhir semester melalui penilaian terhadap perkembangan peserta didik bedasarkan penilaian keseharian sesuai dengan capaian- capaian yang telah ditetapkan. Manajemen kelas berbasis life skill ini sesuai dengan kurikulum serta visi dan misi sekolah yang telah dilakukan sinergi dengan berbagai pihak sekolah dengan tujuan agar menajemen kelas berbasis life skill ini berjalan dengan baik sesuai dengan tujuan yang telah ditetapkan. Kata Kunci Manajemen Kelas, Life Skill, Karakter Abstract This study aims to describe the implementation of life skill-based classroom management in forming independent character and responsibility in early childhood students at the Padang Besar Child Development Center, Thailand. This study used qualitative research methods. Data obtained from observations, direct interviews with sources and through documentation. The results of the study show that there are 3 steps in carrying out life skill-based classroom management namely through class planning, class implementation and also evaluation. At the planning stage, the Padang Besar Child Development Center Thailand is organized by the principal by dividing tasks to teachers in preparing the learning environment, preparing strategies and methods used in accordance with predetermined procedures, compiling life skills learning activities through scheduled activities in class and activities in outside the classroom by accompanying, supervising and providing direction so that life skill activities are embedded in student habituation. At the implementation stage it is carried out by adjusting the conditions and climate of the class so that students feel ready and comfortable in the process of playing and learning, using various strategies and methods, setting an example and habituating students through a schedule of learning activities and daily stories. In the evaluation stage the principal and teacher evaluate the activities and development of students during class learning, evaluate the teacher's performance in carrying out learning both from the strategy and media used to always make improvements, besides that the evaluation is carried out at the end of the semester through an assessment of student development based on daily assessment in accordance with the achievements that have been set. This life skill-based class management is in accordance with the curriculum as well as the vision and mission of the school which has been carried out in synergy with various school parties with the aim that this life skill-based class management runs well in accordance with the goals set. Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai manajemen program upacara bendera sebagai upaya penanaman kedisiplinan pada anak usia dini di Thailand pada Darul Muyaheedeen Mosque Child Development Center, Padang Besar, Thailand. Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif. Data diperoleh dari hasil observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa perencanaan yang ada dilakukan dengan megembangkan rancangan kegiatan yang dirancang oleh seluruh guru, tenaga kependidikan, kepala sekolah dan telah dilakukan secara matang, sehingga dalam pelaksanaan upacara bendera dalam menanamkan karakter kedisiplinan dapat berjalan sesuai dengan rencana, sedangkan pada evaluasi ditemukan bahwa program upacara bendera telah terlaksana dengan baik dan kendala yang ada dapat diatasi dengan adanya kerja sama antara pihak sekolah dengan pihak orang tua peserta didik. Dampak yang dihasilkan mendapatkan hasil yang positif di sekolah maupun di rumah, pada saat berada di sekolah, peserta didik yang ada dapat berbaris dengan rapih dan tertib, datang ke sekolah tepat waktu, dapat membuang sampah pada tempatnya dan dapat mengembalikan barang pada tempatnya, sedangkan di rumah, peserta didik dapat melepaskan seragamnya ketika pulang sekolah dan meletakkan seragam tersebut pada tempat yang telah disediakan. Program upacara bendera ini telah berhasil menanamkan karakter kedisiplinan pada peserta didik dibuktikan dengan dampak yang ditunjukkan oleh peserta didik pada Darul Muyaheedeen Mosque Child Development Center.Kata KunciKarakter Kedisiplinan, Program Upacara Bendera AbstractThis research aims to describe the management of flag ceremony programs as an effort to instill discipline in early childhood in Thailand, specifically at the Darul Muyaheedeen Mosque Child Development Center in Padang Besar, Thailand. The research method used in this study is qualitative research. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation study. The research findings indicate that the existing planning is carried out by developing activity designs designed by all teachers, educational staff, and the school principal, which were well-prepared. Consequently, the flag ceremony implementation for instilling discipline in the children went according to plan. In the evaluation, it was found that the flag ceremony program was well-implemented, and any challenges were overcome through collaboration between the school and the parents of the students. The resulting impact was positive both at school and at home. While at school, the students were able to line up neatly and orderly, arrive on time, dispose of waste properly, and return items to their designated places. At home, they could remove their uniforms upon returning from school and place them in the designated area. The flag ceremony program has successfully instilled discipline in the students, as evidenced by the observed impact at the Darul Muyaheedeen Mosque Child Development Center.KeywordsDiscipline Character, Management of upacara bendera
